I’ve driven by a few times and finally decided to stop. Our family of 4 arrived in the drive through and were given menus and assured that we could take our time. The gentleman at the window was friendly and helpful. We typically stick with Pad Thai and red coconut curry, when ordering Thai. Today we tried the Pad Thai but did the Rad Na soup with shrimp instead of curry and were not disappointed. Our kids polished off the entire order of Thai fried rice with chicken, declaring it the best they’ve had.
My only regret is not trying the egg rolls. We will definitely be back!

The cream cheese puffs are gigantic and the cheese to wrapper ratio is a bit off. I'm am seriously thinking about breaking off the extra delicious bits and making a Asian salad and using the excess for the wonton strips on top. But the flavor is perfect. The sauce is more plum than sweet and sour but it's good.

Very kind staff and the food was fast! Got the Thai iced tea and tofu pad Thai (spicy). It was only 16 bucks for it all! The pad Thai was really good but dryer than I'm used to. The Thai tea was sweet and smooth and really helped cut the heat with the pad Thai. The tofu was flavorful and the bean sprouts in the pad Thai were a fun addition!

Food is amazing and authentic. Super flavorful and fresh. We’re so happy the restaurant is in our neighborhood. The owner is so friendly and accommodating. We love it here! Thanks for always keeping us fed and satisfied.

Food is always tasty and fresh! The woman who is always working is courteous and kind, this has become a new favorite local spot. The massaman with tofu is my favorite ❤️ very well priced!

This place looks unassuming but you must try it! So delicious.
I drove up to the window. Got a menu. Told them if never been there before and asked to recommend between two dishes I thought sounded good. Mentioned I don't like onions. And this is what she recommended.

I'd never had that dish before but was open to trying it. The chicken was tender, the veggies we'll cooked. Plenty of flavorful sauce.

Extremely fresh ingredients. Best fresh spring rolls I've had in 30 years, with plenty of fresh herbal flavors. I've tried several main dishes and all were very good (pork laab my favorite thus far), maybe lacking a touch in flavor seasoning, but I'd rather that than having an overly salted dish like at so many restaurants. Banana-coconut balls are a real treat! Staff are truly pleasant. :) I'll be back for more!

I love Thai Pepper, but today is the 2nd time I’ve tried to order from them and they’re closed. I understand things happen, but I suspect they are prioritizing other locations.

Total rip off! Where did these high reviews come from? First of all, the portion sizes aren't even a full meal size, and at the prices they charge, it's criminal. Neither of our meals was what they claimed to be - it seems the dishes are assembled after each bit is cooked. Also we asked for medium heat and it's bland bland bland. Will NEVER be going here again. What a disappointment.

I think all the great reviews already listed are fake! Vegetable egg rolls yuk! Very little filling in each and greasy. Fresh veggies? Where? My curry had like 3 red pepper pieces and the rest bamboo shoots - another yuk! But the worst was the rice! It was not fresh but old and mushy. Don’t believe the other positive reviews they’re fake. The place is gross but at least I didn’t get sick. Avoid

Best Pad Thai in the city and the best veggie egg rolls I've tasted ever. I will be here once a week. I noticed someone saying the price doesn't match the portion, in my opinion it does its that good. I'd rather get enough of a great thing that a ish load of food tasting like air and regrets. Anywho this will be my new go to.

They also give you more than one or two shrimp. I've gone to other places and you get a ish load of noodles and 2 shrimp here it's a nice balance. I'm satisfied 😌

When I picked up my very first take-out, I asked them if they were hiring! Then less than a week, I was working there haha! It's been over a month now & I enjoyed working there! Probably one of my favorite workplace! There's another location in Mpls by Hiawatha! And a new location opening around Thanksgiving in Bloomington! And 2 more locations opening next year! Soon you'll see Thai Pepper everywhere! Orders usually take about 15 minutes. Very quick & reasonable price! it's drive thru only for now so no dining-in. Please come by!

We both ordered Green Curry. Mine was vegetarian, my dinner companion chose tofu. I paid for and received extra vegetables. The veggies were so fresh and crisp! Upon seeing mine, my companion will order extra vegetables to go with the tofu green curry. Both were perfection. Heat levels (one mild, one medium) were on-point. The vegetarian egg rolls were okay, the sauce could've been a bit more flavorful. The sticky rice was absolutely perfect.Thai Pepper is our new go-to place. We were enthusiastic about sharing such a great place with friends. Just go! Enjoy!

Penang Curry is out of this world, but the Chicken is like eating card board... It's too bad because the sauce is fantastic.

My parents live by Thai Pepper and we look forward to our order every time we're in town. This place is simple, but good. They've got a great business with low overhead and consistently good food. The staff is always extremely friendly and I hope they stay in business for a long time. We've ordered probably half the menu and everything has been excellent. We tried a curry for the first time on our last visit and look forward to trying the others.

We ordered the Pad kee mao and basil fried rice. Quick service. Spice level was appropriate. Only 3 stars because the drunken noodle was the most bland I’ve ever had. Hardly any sauce to give it its name. The basil fried rice was average. I’ll have to try other items but I won’t order drunken noodles here again.

Very good, and a creative way to make that strange little drive through space work (you order online ahead and then pickup in the drive through). I love that you can pick your protein for your curry (our favorite is the Panang) and the egg rolls are phenomenal!

This little place is a gem. It can be a struggle to find places that will actually serve things beyond the "Minnesota spicy" spectrum. On my first visit, I got green curry and asked for extra spicy - it was delicious and had decent heat but not quite on the spice level I hoped for. Today I ordered Pad Kee Mow hot and am relieved to have gotten a super spicy and flavorful dish; never been so happy to be sweating.

There was no visible menu to look at or order from in the drive thru. There also wasn't even a speaker to give an order thru. I was unable to place a drive thru order. How is someone supposed to get food?

Great food , good price, great service. Best thing to do will be to order online or call in with order other wise you will have to wait in the drive-thru for about 10-15 minutes (worth the wait though). This is not a dine in restaurant, it’s a drive through or walk up restaurant.

My fiancee has been on the search for the perfect panang curry in the Twin Cities and he has finally found what he was looking for -- nice flavor and the right amount of creaminess. Great price, quick and easy pick-up. We will be back soon.

I’ve gone here before and love the food. Their website clearly states they’re open 11-9 on Wednesdays but when I tried to go for lunch today, I went through the drive thru and there was a sign on it that said closed. The person inside just looked at me and then looked back at his phone. Not sure what their hours truly are, but either way it was a bummer.

This place is an unbeatable value. Wonderful food at super reasonable prices. I wish we would have tried it sooner! So far we've tried the Pad Thai and the cashew stir fry. Both were excellent. I'm really looking forward to trying the other dishes on the menu.

Food was a hit with my whole family, will be going back for sure. Order online. Allow a little extra time during peak meal times. Parking lot sucks, better to just drive around and come back. Subtracted a star because took an extra 30+ min, and my order was missing an item, so had to go back another time. But hopefully it's just because they were busy - which is a good thing.

I don’t normally leave reviews but after my first visit I had to leave one. We ordered the Thai Basil Stir Fry and the Panang Curry (Both medium spice) and were super happy. Don’t be fooled by the plain appearance of the stir fry. It’s jam packed with flavor and spicier than I suspected. I really hope this place sticks around because I’m definitely coming back. Bonus: the workers are super pleasant and friendly!

I’ve ordered from Thai pepper several times, and each time it has been great. The eggrolls are good, the shrimp pad Thai is awesome. The food is always ready when I get there, and the staff are friendly. Their prices are very good.

After moving to the area I was looking for a great quick Pad Thai place and Thai Pepper has become that staple over the last few months. There are plenty of tasty Thai places in the cities but this one has great prices, it's local and convenient, and has consistent quality.

I frequently order the Chicken Pad Thai or the Tofu Pad Thai. Both are simple dishes that are very tasty (cilantro, ground peanuts, egg, nice pieces of meat or tofu, and lots of tasty rice noodles). I have also tried their egg rolls - I highly recommend those. They're always served piping hot and fresh and they use the best dipping sauce. I will say the Pad Thai as ordered is NOT spicy.

I've also recently gotten their Papaya salad not knowing what it was but wanting to try it. Definitely a delicious cold salad! It has a hint of spice to it because of the dressing. I could probably make a very filling meal out of that and some egg rolls. Please give this place a try if you're craving some Asian cuisine that's quick, affordable, and tasty!

This food was amazing. We ordered the green curry with chicken, chicken Thai basil stir fry, chicken pad Thai, egg rolls, beef jerky and cream cheese wontons. The cream cheese wontons are served egg roll style which is genius. My mom can’t handle spicy food and this was the first pad Thai from a place that we have ordered mild that was actually mild. The medium spicy in the curry had a flavorful kick without being overbearing. Highly recommend ordering from here!

Small shop, BIG flavors. Opened recently as a small drive-thru/pick up only thai restaurant and I couldn't be happier. Everything there is made fresh to order, cooked well, ready quickly, and delicious. Having a neighborhood thai takeaway shop is a miracle in W. St. Paul so take advantage of it and stop by!

We ordered dinner from Thai Papper online in April 2020 and overall I would recommend it, but we did have one issue.
We ordered a side of sticky rice, mild spice Pad Thai with veggies, and medium spice Pad Prik Khing with chicken.

The sticky rice was delicious. I was really happy to see that they offered it, and using it to soak up the sauce from the Pad Prik Khing was amazing. 5/5

Speaking of the Pad Prik Khing, it was also great. I like to think I can handle more than the average amount of Minnesotan spice levels but I was wary about getting “spicy” or “extra-spicy” from a Thai place! I’m glad I went with the “medium spicy” because it was hot to the point where I was sniffing a bit during the meal but my tongue wasn’t on fire for more than a minute or two after finishing the meal. The flavors of the dish were really nice, I would 100% order that again. 5/5

Our issue was with the mild Pad Thai, both my wife and I thought it needed more flavor. Maybe just don’t order “mild” or “vegetarian” because it was pretty bland. 2/5

I split the green curry with chicken, Tom Yum with shrimp, and pad thai with chicken, all medium spicy, with a friend. Everything was right: temperature, spice, sweet, freshness. The pad thai was better than most. It was ready for pickup immediately. I had slightly less green curry left over this morning than I would have hoped after splitting three entrees, although I was completely overstuffed at the time. I'm going back again.

After all the hype and reviews... omg... it was disappointing. We were assured that the portions were large lol ive posted a mini butterfinger bar for size comparison.

Drunken noodles were overcooked and rubbery. The flavors were off for all the dishes. They claimed to be cheap and inexpensive and in this case... you get what you pay for.

Super yummy!! Vegetables were all fresh and cooked to perfection. The chicken was white meat and not fatty. I recommend Thai Pepper 100%.

The order was correct except the spice level of the entree. I ordered mild, it was very spicy. Egg rolls were tasty but a bit undercooked. I ended up only eating less than half the entree due to the fact that my mouth was burning. Mild means mild, guys. I’ll try it one more time since it’s so convenient.

Exceptional Thai food. We ordered the green coconut curry and the Pad Thai. The Pad Thai, I felt, needed more sauce, but was otherwise tasty. The curry had a nice spice to it and a great flavor. We wish the meat was a little more plentiful. In a pinch, this place is just fine.

My husband ordered online to help the business but we were disappointed in the food. Papaya salad had little flavor compared to it's original traditional Thai version. I had to add more flavor. The egg rolls had a good amount of the stuffing but did not have enough seasoning and were very oily. I don't think it is worth the price for so little. I suppose coming from an Asian background I expected the dishes to meet the expectation of an Asian person.

Super delish and can't beat not having to get out of my car in MN winter to pick it up!

Recommend green curry! So glad to have a Thai food establishment nearby.
