I came to Urban Wok in St. Paul looking for a relatively healthy meal and was really impressed. The vegetables were fresh, the oil used for cooking was clean, and the sauce—Hawaiian BBQ—was flavorful with a good level of spice.
What really made the experience stand out was Daryl. He took great care of my friend and me, making sure everything was just right. It felt less like a typical restaurant visit and more like having a meal prepared by a longtime friend. We had great food and good conversation, which made the experience even better.
For those who appreciate fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared food, I highly recommend Urban Wok. If I had one small piece of constructive feedback, at another Urban Wok location, I was able to customize my vegetable selection rather than going with the default blend. That said, even the default mix here was excellent.
I’ll definitely be back, and if you get the chance, let Daryl take care of you—you won’t regret it!
Daryl went above and beyond to take care of us, from menu options to local activities we can do and even busted out some candy for the kids, he went above and beyond to make us welcome and comfortable. The food was amazing as well, can’t go wrong here. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Very happy with my experience.
Overall I liked my food. It was a little on the expensive side ($20 after tip) but I feel like I did get a decent amount. Veggies were fresh and good. The yellow curry was labeled as mild was definitely medium, coming from someone who has a decent spice tolerance. Music was really loud and there was some old looking chicken bones on the ground. Overall though I like they are open late and would come back!
Darrell the manager took great care of me. He communicated between restaurants when I ordered to the wrong location and got it made for me at the right location. Super great customer service and the food is always excellent. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for some great Wok!
I recently visited St. Paul for a wedding, and after the rehearsal on Friday night, we were in search of a place to eat. With not many spots open late, we decided to check out Urban Wok, which was conveniently within walking distance from our hotel. The place was empty when we arrived, which made us a little apprehensive at first, but we went ahead and placed our order.
We ordered two entrees: the Surf 'n Turf with noodles, and the Agave Ginger Sriracha with chicken on rice. Darrell, who was working there, was incredibly helpful and guided us through the menu since it was our first time.
The food was absolutely delicious! The flavors were bold and fresh, and the portion sizes were just right. I highly recommend this spot if you're in the area and looking for a quick, tasty meal. Despite our initial hesitation, Urban Wok definitely exceeded our expectations.
I created a custom stir fry with additional veggies beyond the default. My food tastes great and about 2* spice level for the peanut sauce. I’m only giving the restaurant a 4* because I would have liked a plate and the food was served in to-go containers even though I dined in. It was messy to dig out w a fork.
I ordered the spicy wonton soup and it was cold as well the wontons tasted undercooked like dough with no flavor, as well as the shrimp stir fry that was dry and cold with no flavor or taste. This food is tasteless and over priced as well as undercooked. This was my first and time ever ordering from this restaurant and I would not recommend this place to no one and I will make sure of it.
Darrell the manager took great care of me. He communicated between restaurants when I ordered to the wrong location and got it made for me at the right location. Super great customer service and the food is always excellent. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for some great Wok!
Last week stopped in for a bite to eat and I just want to say service and food was great! Even had trouble deciding on what to eat and the employee Daryl helped me out on what he thought I might like….. Will be back next time I'm
In town.

Food was amazing hats off to the Chef. Mr. Darrell Simmons.
A special thank you to the server I had Darl Simmons (not sure if its spelled right) but this young man was very polite sweet he made the first visit very welcoming.
Daryl Simmons was the most helpful
Beautiful scenery and the food was great!
I TOOK MY HUSBAND OUT TO DINNER AT URBAN WOK FOR HIS BIRTHDAY WE ENJOYED THE FOOD THE SERVICE AND THE MANAGER DARYL SIMMONS WAS AWESOME ON MAKING SURE WE HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED.I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Food was amazing and Daryl gave top tier customer service. Can't wait to get back there and try other things!
Had a great meal here during our visit from Illinois. Daryl was fantastic and made sure we were taken care of. I would definitely recommend!
Sat here for over an hour Saturday February 8th and still currently here only 2 ppl working. No one knows what I'm saying. No manager on duty. These poor employees are sweating working they asses off and NO manager on site at all. Their management sucks. It's 5 of us been waiting for our food since 930 and it's 10:22pm.
Don't come here but if you do tip they employees. They said they called their manager and waiting for him to come in. Just sad

DO NOT BUY GIFTCARDS FOR THIS PLACE. Impossible to reddeem. The food is okay. Not friendly staff.
I got shrimp and udon noodles. Both wonderfully cooked, noodles nice and chewy. Lots of veggies fried with it. Sauces are flavorful.
Issue with a promo code was resolved quickly and efficiently, and the food came out even more so. These guys do a great job!
Daryl and Bree were awesome, very inviting, had a lot of fun and food was amazing. Definitely coming back.
Darrell helped us out! He was very friendly and polite! Asked if be needed any help with the menu, asked about our holidays, got us water, was just super helpful and friendly! Appreciate his time! The food was also really good! They were out of pot stickers today but replaced them with spring rolls for us and gunna be honest I normally hate spring rolls so I just agreed to not be rude and these were the best spring rolls I've ever had, I really liked them lol! Also the food smelt maybe a little burnt but from my understanding that's because it was cooked in a wok lol, it was still amazing!
Ordered delivery (brown rice bowl) and it was just so soggy that it was more like a lumpy soup. Lacked flavors.
The fried rice was so dry and did not taste good at all. We ordered through door dash and the food was awful.!
Can’t stop eating the food!
I walked into Urban Wok and asked the cook about my order number. He told me that it wasn’t ready yet, so I waited, hoping it was good because I was a visitor from out of town and had heard such great reviews about this place. Unfortunately, I was disappointed and saddened by the result. My food was burnt and tasted overwhelmingly of soy sauce and sugar, with rice.
Super kind staff, such good food. Excited to come back
The manager was so rude because the store had a lot of orders??? You'd think they would be happy for the business but he was so mad he was yelling. He is very obviously not happy to be working here and should switch careers if he hates it when there's business.
Thanks for the food man... doordash driver
Daryl is the man. Great thoughtful service and great food.
We were the only people in the restaurant at 6:30 on a Friday night and should have taken that as a cue. Overall the food was really really oily and the flavors did not stand out. The deep dried spring rolls were tiny and ice cold in the middle. Just sub par food, but quick if that is what you are looking for.
The food was great, the ordering process could be a bit more straightforward but I think it'll work out over time.
Delicious food, daily deals, possibly the friendliest staff downtown. Beautiful view. Great spot for before or after a Saints game.
Customizable options with vegetarian and gluten-free accommodation.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an experience I had at your location this evening. As a long-time customer and a resident living directly above your establishment, I have always enjoyed the food and appreciated the friendly atmosphere, especially interactions with the owner and the night manager, with whom I’ve had several conversations over the past year.
Tonight, however, was an exception. I placed an online order around 20 minutes before arriving and entered the store approximately 10 minutes before closing to pick it up. Unfortunately, my order was set for the following day, though I was unaware of this error when placing it. This was my second order of the evening—the first went smoothly—and I did not make any changes during the ordering process that would explain why it was scheduled for tomorrow.
When I arrived, the night manager seemed confused about my order, asking if I was there for other orders before eventually locating mine for the following day. I explained the situation and asked if my order could still be prepared tonight. Instead of accommodating my request, he became visibly frustrated, explaining that he needed to return at 8:00 a.m. the next morning. His tone was abrupt, and he seemed more focused on closing the store than on resolving my issue. Wanting to avoid further conflict, I decided to leave and return for my order tomorrow, though I left feeling uneasy and mistreated.
After some thought, I realized that I didn’t want the order for tomorrow and returned to request a refund. The manager informed me, quite curtly, that a refund could not be processed until the next morning because the system had already been closed. When I shared my frustration with how I was treated, he replied dismissively, stating, “You don’t like how you’ve been treated for your mistake.”
While I understand that the error may have been mine, I believe that the situation could have been handled with more understanding and professionalism. If I were in his position, I would have responded by simply preparing the order and reassuring the customer—it’s a small gesture that leaves a lasting impression. Instead, I felt blamed and unwelcome, which is disheartening given how much I have enjoyed dining at Urban Wok in the past.
I genuinely appreciate the quality of your food and the kindness of the owner, but this experience has left me questioning my loyalty to the establishment. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and that steps can be taken to ensure future interactions are more positive, even when things don’t go as planned.
We were the only ones in the place but Darryl, our cook, was fantastic. He was friendly, informative and so helpful. The food was fresh and delicious. We will be back for sure!
Darryl was a perfect host and cook. The food was delicious 😋
Excellent spot right near the train station! The owner was very polite and accommodating for a large group of out-of-towners, great guy.
Food was delicious and freshly fired in the wok, piping hot too.
Thanks again!
Incredibly good fried rice-esque dishes with a wide variety of veggies, noodles, rice and meat. Everything is fried up fresh and was super good. Served piping hot.
Major props to Darrell, dude was super friendly and welcoming. Really made the experience after being on a train for 8 hours
The food was fresh and for counter service, Darrell was fantastic. Highly recommend
It was delicious . I’m always scared to try new things but my boyfriend suggested so we went for it and 10/10 recommend . Their sauces are GREATT AND DIFFERENT REAL UNIQUE. My boyfriend got the chicken and LOVED it I got a chief choice bowl DELICIOUS. Check them out ☺️
Went during the art crawl. We had Daryl help with food and drinks he was very nice.
Daryl was accommodating, so kind, and made sure we were well taken care of! The food was incredible—Highly recommend.
Daryl was AMAZING! the food is awesome, and the vibes were just right!
i like the wings. the agave, jerk, and sesame buffalo wings are so good! the staff are very cool every time i go in. great the seating & vibe
Daryl food was good and very fresh 🙏🏾😫
muchas gracias!
The food was so good! Will definitely be coming back!
The food is AH-mazing! Had the peanut noodles. I asked the cook to cook my noodles a bit longer and he did it. Overall, very flavorful.
As soon as my lips touched the succulent citrus orange I was astonished, gobsmacked but above all else appalled. The service was top tier from Daniel was nothing less than awe-inspiring and Wellington (the cook) really put his foot in this stir fry bowl. 5 stars. Encore. Encore. ENCORE!!!
Really enjoyed the food!!
I created a custom stir fry with additional veggies beyond the default. My food tastes great and about 2* spice level for the peanut sauce. Great music being played, excellent staff, and amazing food. Try to black berry habenero sauce. It's amazing. Special thanks to Darrel ans Isaiah last night 08-24

Amazing place! Service was excellent for my first time coming will be coming again!!
The dude taking care of me was super friendly and provided me with some of the best service I’ve had in a long while. Ill definitely have to come back when I come back to Saint Paul.

Phenomenal food incredible options.
A must try meal
Very accommodating. The GM, Daniel, exceptional. They are kind and and fantastic. Took on a large loud group without blinking. Also Tara is sensational
This is my favorite non-bar joint in lower town. The food is made to order, the staff is great, and it’s always quick and friendly. Darrel was super helpful when I had trouble ordering online, I try to go weekly because it’s that good.
Was looking for something close to hotel and this came up on the mileageX dining. Walked down and grabbed lunch. So glad I did. Food is excellent. Price is great, especially for portions. The spring rolls are phenomenal!
Great food Great places
Wanted to give this place a go. Placed an order on the app thinking I'd get $5 off, as it showed me that promo code, but I guess it didn't plug in right away. No big deal, since I can redeem it at a later point if I want. Aside from that, an easy-to-use interface and I didn't have further trouble customizing and submitting my order.
I ended up getting the Wokin' Cantina and the jalapeño fried rice with added shrimp. I love the flavors of both: the jalapeño fried rice packs a nice amount of spice and flavor. The Wokin' Cantina was good as well, and my vegetables were pretty fresh and crunchy. My one caveat is textures! Chicken in the Cantina seemed a little tough/dry. The jalapeño fried rice is a little greasier than I expected. Then again, if you're going to get stir fry, I think that's normal; I'm just used to a drier texture for fried rice.
I think for the price, you get a decent amount of food. Would love to come back and try some of their other dishes; in particular the chicken wings.
Waaaay overpriced for fast casual Asian mishmash fusion. But open pretty late for Lowertown.
great staff and great food
Amazing service guy is absolutely astonishing
I used to love this place a lot but it's changed. Like a lot of places they have raised prices and lowered food quality. Their in-house self ordering tablets have a worse UI than before and help you in their quest to get you to spend more money than you want.
I really did like having this place so close by but they've priced themselves out of my desire to eat yummy stir-fry bowls. For reference, my regular order there used to cost me $18 + change in 2022-23. Now it's almost $30. Again I really loved going here but it's just not worth it anymore. Bye Urban!
Awesome food great atmosphere
The food was amazing 🤩
Not a fan of the default veggie mix, I liked when the create your own bowl was fully create your own. Otherwise the ingredients are good and the bowls are tasty. Just wish there was an option to choose my own veggies without the extra charge.
Very delicious food, friendly staff
Their food is always fresh, and they don’t overcook the vegetables, so they maintain a slight crunch and retain their nutrients. I’m always happy with any flavor combo, or protein selection— it’s all good!
If you’re looking for healthy stir fry, fast— look no further!!
Food was alright, not stellar but definitely not bad. Very over priced. It took 40 minutes from ordering to get our food. Ordered 2 entrees and an appetizer from a kiosk.
The food was excellent and the worker is very cheery and does everything to make sure your happy and enjoy everything
The food and restaurant are exquisite as always. Urban Wok was a godsend in college and comfort food now.
We chose this place based on the varying diets in our group- gluten free, vegan, and omnivores all included. It was delicious and all people were very satisfied with their options and their food.
So Much Potential,Terrible Execution - I've been to this place three times. First time I ordered take out online through Google and the food was great! Understanding the menu is a slight challenge but once it clicks it's simple. Food was good but took a long time to get our order and we were given "promo code coupons". After a decent first experience we have gone back twice the second time we had SO MUCH trouble using the promo code we were given and the staffing here is extremely minimal. Most I've seen is 2 people working (on a Saturday afternoon/night). After an extremely long wait we got our food. The second time we go, again a promo code gave issues and the employee couldn't do anything for us even after calling someone to get assistance. The code didn't even work through online orders. Needless to say I'd love to regularly come here but poor management systems and understaffing keep this place from being successful in any way. Disappointing.
Guy helping us was awesome, gave lots of food suggestions, complimented my shirt, very respectful guy
Greeted as soon as we got in! The music was great. The staff was very inviting and helpful. They have options for everyone for a great deal. Would come here again just for the atmosphere and people.
My one and only thing is that the sauce was a tad bit watery. Full of flavor and cooked just right.
Nicest guy served us!
Hospitality was top notch. Caribbean jerk was fantabulous.
Great place for fast delicious food with an Asian flair. You construct your own dish choosing from among several basics like udon noodles, soba noodles or rice also some GF options; proteins like tofu, chicken or beef; a large selection of veggies and sauces, then they cook it up for you! Voila! Delicious food! Mix in some daily specials and $3 beer and you have a recipe that is unbeatable.
I love the lemon grass mango sweet &sour
Great food, the wings are amazing. Great customer service.
Delicious!
You know it’s not very often that you frequent a restaurant that has consistently delivered fresh and amazing food. Also, it’s even more rare that that same place of business has a warm welcoming atmosphere. But somehow The Urban Wok in Lowertown Saint Paul has got it all figured out! If you have never been there you are missing out!
The service was nice, the food was yummy and the place was very clean and aesthetically pleasing 10/10
Dan and Thomas are amazing! Food has always been excellent! Highly recommend
Dan the Man great service!
Love the staff and the food great prices
Fantastic food and quick!! High quality ingredients. We will be back soon
Update........
This place went WAAAAAYYYY downhill. We used to love coming here. The menu was simple enough to use and prices were decent. Now, every little thing is an add-on. I just got a simple create-your-own bowl and a soda, no apps, and it's $30!!!! Not feasible for a lunch like that. We will never be back. So disappointing. This is obviously a management, not on-site staff issue. The gouging is ridiculous. This restaurant lost it's place
Very disappointing. I'll never step foot in this place again. Great staff but extremely overpriced. Over $30 for a simple lunch is preposterous. There's no excuse
I love that URBANWOK food is your own creation! All of the Gluten Free sauces are my dream as I’m GF, not by choice. There is a great variety of yummy veg options. This is my favorite healthy option and I highly recommend it! It’s speedy and delicious!
We love the Wok for their diverse menu and reliability, whether you’re dining in, grabbing take out, or ordering delivery.
I really enjoyed the freh aspect, seeing it cooked for me, rather than wondering if a warmed over version was put in my container. The flavors were super tasty, I thought the price was right, and it was ready very fast--- what's not to like?!
Came in on a Thursday, dude working was super nice, the Waikiki surf and turf was awesome
To expensive.
Best food in town! So worth eating here, amazing every time.
We were welcomed so nicely by Daniel, who walked us through the menu options. The tikka masala sauce was amazing, and the vegetables very fresh! Good size servings too. We're actually going to go back tomorrow evening for another meal!
Love this place! Open late. Chill staff. Great food.
Tried this location afree trying the other one in the area. Very clean food order and prep area. Tried the spicy peanut sauce. It was very tasty and just enough spice to heat it up. With a great selection of proteins and base there are so many combinations to choose from. The serving size was just right. What a great alternative to other restaurants in the area. Will definitely be back again to try the other signature sauces on the menu.
Urban Wok never disappoints. The entree portions are very large and the wings are excellent!
This is the original Urban Wok location. It's a cool space in Lowertown, easy to walk to and close to CHS Field. Urban Wok is a great place for families and groups because everyone can pick exactly what they want. All of the sauces are great... Korean BBQ is one of my favorites. Be sure to get a side of the spring rolls and always add potstickers to your order!
friendly and respectful owner and staff. A great place to grab and go.
Great vibe!!! AMAZING sauces... This place is my new fave in downtown St PAUL... Great value for
all the food I got... Super fresh... Two meals for the price of one!! Will def be a regular there
Delicious. And healthy. Both. Great spot.
Give it a try. Delicious.
Great easy meal!
Loved the food! I ordered a stir fry bowl with chicken, snow peas, peppers and pineapple sauce...was very glad they had the option of cauliflower rice. The house sauce added a fresh kick to it. Enough to fill me up and leave a yummy snack for the next day.
Was very good the first time I tried it second time there was a couple mishaps but they made it right so I will be returning
St. Louis Park Urban Wok is my go-to for not only, great food, but as well, all the choices available to me and my family. It’s not boring-food thats just laid out. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. Employees are considerate. I just can’t say enough about this amazing restaurant experience!
The food was great! ILoved all the fresh vegies and especially the garlic sauce with no msg only fresh ingredients! A very quaint and lovely atmosphere with good relaxing music! I loved the manager, he was very accomadating and professional! Will be back!
They didnt seem particularly busy, but my order took forever anyway. I made no fuss, I've worked in a lot of restaurants, stuff happens. Walk home was 5 minutes. Potstickers were piping hot and tasty, but they were deep-fried; not my prefered method of preparation, but they were good regardless. Now, I ordered chicken with yakisoba noodles in a citrus sauce. The flavor was just not there. Literally, they must have forgot to add it. There was maybe 5 small chunks of chicken in the whole container. 2 stars might be harsh, but for the price, I was disappointed.
Went to the urban wok on April 13, 2024 about 9:30pm on a Saturday. The hours of operation are until 11:00pm. This is after coming to the restaurant earlier in the day to find they had operational service issues and were closed due to the emergency which is totally understandable. Spoke with a gentleman who said he was the manager. He was pleasant and encouraged us to come back to the St Paul location later in the day. So we did. Upon arrival at the store the employees still had the closed sign up. We went in and asked if they were still open. The employee said they were and would be happy to serve us. We placed an order for two with a nice tip. The employee then immediately began sharing way too much personal intimate information that we as consumers had zero interest in getting involved with. So, we decided to take our food to go. It was getting uncomfortable for us to be there. Trying to end this conversation with the employee and get our food so we could leave we waited outside. The two employees in the restaurant then became argumentative between each other. The employee that was sharing too much personal information then proceeded to follow us outside to continue the conversation. Telling us extensively about their family problems. At that time this employee’s mother was driving by. The employee began to argue with their mother who was in her car video recording us on her phone. The employee proceeded to pace in and out of the restaurant with a different extreme story that we didn’t care to hear every time they come outside. Finally after a good 20-25 minutes of waiting for the food we already paid for the employee came outside to tell us she was closing the restaurant and wouldn’t be able to serve us. We’ve been at the restaurant now for over 45 minutes. We respectfully accepted the decision of the employee which is completely unacceptable considering we asked clearly in advance if we could order more the 90 minutes before closing. We left for the evening and found a great restaurant on 7th Street across from the Holiday in that I would highly recommend!
Then very next morning. Sunday we came back to find the pleasant manager we had met the previous day. I explained the very unpleasant experience that we had literally hours before.
He was nice and said he’d make us food. Take care of the situation and gladly give us a refund for the horrible situation and experience we had the night before
Food was made and given to us. Not sure if it was our order or not. Was never asked what we wanted. Just given food. The manager said he would be taking care of our refund and continued to apologize for any inconvenience. I confirmed at that time and asked if there was anything else I needed to do to receive a full refund. The manager ensured me that he had everything taken care of and I had nothing to worry about, my refund would be returned in a matter of days.
11 days later I called the St Paul location and let the manager know that I had not yet received my refund. It was the same pleasant manager we had been talking to at the restaurant. He said he was extremely busy at the moment and would call me back immediately. That was about 2:30pm April24. I heard nothing back from this gentleman.
This is the corporate headquarters for this restaurant?
This employee and her mother were both clearly strung out on something!
This is a horrible experience!
This is a horrible restaurant that I will never visit again!
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone at any location based on this one experience!
I tried my very best to give the restaurant and the manager every opportunity to correct the situation and be better through this experience.
There is clearly not a care to provide good service, good food, or a good experience!
DO NOT EVER EAT AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!!!!
HORRIBLE on every level!!!!!!
Then…. Instead of contacting the customer the company decided to delete all reviews?
This place is a mess! On multiple levels of the company.
Really good food. I really like the new teriyaki ginger sauce they have.
Tried it with a friend, was confused at first as to why it was empty other than us but after we got our meals it made sense. Even dining in our meals were delivered in “fancy” paper take-out containers. The proteins were okay, the chicken and steak, but their sauces were disappointing. The garlic teriyaki was thin and bland and there was a half inch pool of sauce at the bottom of his takeout box. My Korean BBQ noodles tasted more like they just threw Target brand gochujang paste and tomato paste in Famous Dave’s and dredged the noodles, which were overcooked and soggy. Never had soba that tried to be a curry, couldn’t tell it was fried in a wok.
They seemed short staffed, total of 3 or 4 staff we could see. Took over 30 mins for food and over 10 mins for wine. It seemed there was only one cook and maybe one server/cashier/foh. The place appeared not to be too busy, maybe 25 people, but not everyone was ordering at the same time. We order drinks, but each time, it would take about 10 mins and wanted to order more food, but we didn't want to wait longer, so we left. This was a self check out kiosk, so mildly disappointed that there was wait for food, drinks for such small crowd that remain the same for approx 2 1/2 hrs. Food was yummy, though. Staff seemed friedly but forgetful.
Used to be so good....very disappointed with it the last few times we've ordered. No peanut sauce/flavor at all on the spicy peanut chicken bowl. Probably not going to give it yet another chance.
I got udon noodles with tofu, some veggies, and a ginger teriyaki sauce. It was delicious, and the food came out quickly. Would go here again!
My new favorite spot to order from! Tasty, healthy, and perfect portion sizes.
I went with the stir fry with chicken… can’t go wrong!
Delisios Delios 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
Visiting from Michigan, my wife and I decided to pop in for a quick snack...WOW, that was the best on-the-spot decision made in a while! The food was GREAT, staff was friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting! So much for the snack...my wife wanted more!
My food arrived without the habanero sauce that I ordered. I asked for five veggies instead of a protein option and I just received a few clumps of visibly frozen mushroom. Nothing that I added was orange, so I do not know what that slime is. It was bland and cold, too. The item in the photo cost $17 for a serving that size, so keep that in mind for the quality of food you receive. I will not be back.
Right on the light rail by Central Station downtown. I liked the flavors, but there were a few kinks ordering at their kiosk. You have to agree to all the choices to advance the screen even if you want something left out. After you place your order, you can make adjustments by filling out a form to omit an ingredient. It's a bit strange to have to approve all the veggies in a salad or stir fry even if you don't want, say, carrots. The boneless wings were cheap during happy hour, but they tasted cheap too.
I’m not even close to this state never been here and somehow they have my name and number and text spamming me.
Really cool place next to the union station, loved the food and the place had an awesome vibe. They also do gluten free stuff!
My self-ingredient "bowl" tasted good. My partner's self ingredient "bowl" had a too-much-sodium taste. Perhaps we will order different ingredients next time. One of those ingredients (scallions) was in my dish and I did not order it. The food came in take-out boxes when we were dining in.
I had the Fried Rice with the pineapple and shrimp. It was amazing.
Great folks friends and fantastic food.
Excellent establishment. Food was high quality as was the service!!
Food took one hour to get done, and then the pot stickers were cold so they were not sticking, sauce was not good and it was all noodles, barely any chicken, which is good because the chicken tasted nasty like it was sitting there for daaaayyys, at the end they gave me little spring rolls for free to bribe me, which obviously worked and made me happy, but I wouldn’t come back here
came here for the fact that it's vegan friendly and ordered to go....ordered zuchinni noodles with abunch of vegetables and tofu, with extra rice and a couple extra veggies... but was given 99% normal noodles that I didn't order, no rice, and all shoved in the tiniest to go container that you would think the extra rice belongs in.
Had my roommate go back in to either get a refund or find the order and the guy was incapable of doing either. The order was still full of regular noodles, none of the vegetables I ordered were in there, and steak was added????
I can't even fully blame my roommate for being bad at communicating and having an attitude, cause you have to be stupid to not be able to read whats on the order and give the person what they ordered. like ??? im so confused??
Absolutely horrible experience ):
I literally just wanted a vegan-veggie stir fry with white rice but that was apparently impossible to get..
Went in tonight for a to go order and they were out of chicken! And potstickers and spring rolls. I said thank you and walked out.
Noodles were undercooked and whole dish tasted very plain and flavorless. I also ordered some chicken wings and they were very cold and had no crunch to them, they were just soft.
First time here and had a very good experience. Had Bryan whip up our food and loved it. Great job. Thanks
They have forgot things twice in a row. This time they forgot multiple things. First time food was cold. I hate this place. Expensive for cold, bland noodles.
It is my first time in Minnesota. I went to Urban Wok for the first time. Everyone inside is so nice. The food is amazing. The inside is beautiful and the food is filling!
Awesome service 👏 😎
Amazing food - Dan the GM is a homie 👍
I haven't been to this location for over a year because the clealiness and over all cleanileness of the restaurant and atrocious quality of the food. Before the door closed I was greeted by the store manager Steph, my food was done in minutes and I had no issue with eating in and also bought a to go entree solely because how good my order was made compared to my last time in Urban Wok
Good work to Steph and staff
The wings are good! I've never had a bad experience and the food is always prepared right on time.
Food is always excellent and high quality. It is always a very tasty place to order from. Last time I was there Daniel was super welcoming and very efficient in making a couple good meals for us to go. I always seem to find a parking spot really close too. I love this place, and I'll keep coming back!
My friends and I happened upon this place when I was staying at a hotel nearby and loved it! We shared several different dishes and all were delicious. The staff was really friendly and I look forward to coming back next time I’m in town.
Love the new manager Daniel and The waitress Gabriel were amazing host. And the food was on point like cactus. Ill be back like swartzenneger babeeeeey!!
The food is awesome.
The curbside pickup is very awkward. Traffic backs up behind you. I had to go around the block three times to get my food brought to my vehicle. It’s too bad there isn’t more parking space for pickups. Maybe the city of St. Paul can do something?
Had a late flight and this was one of the only places open that could deliver to a hotel. The food came and we were very disappointed and ended up throwing it out and ordering pizza.
Both udon dishes ordered were missing the sauce that was supposed to come with it. Neither of the udon bowls had vegetables that were cooked - they basically threw in raw vegetables (raw broccoli, raw cabbage, etc.) with the noodles. The chicken had a really weird flavor like it was old or cooked directly from frozen. Would never order from here again, definitely not worth $17 per dish.
Well we were at the Glow Fest at CHS Stadium, we were Hungary so we tried this place , absolutely great food , never been there before but u have to try it. Fabulous!!
