Serving award-winning Thai food and sushi since 1983. During COVID-19, we are offering dine in, pick-up, curbside and delivery.
This is the first time I have tried Sawatdee. A Maple Grove friend recommended this establishment and we were both pleased. We had choice of a lunch menu available weekday afternoons. I ordered the cashew stir-fry because I love water-chestnuts and it was very good at a decent price. The establishment has low lighting, music, and interesting decorative pieces throughout. And the staff was service oriented checking on us several times. Parking was very easy.
It is in the shopping mall area, so it’s very convenient for parking and for visiting other places before or afterward.
The spring roll is huge and fresh. The veggie dish is average, which is totally fine. The Thai noodles are very spicy, even for someone like me with a high tolerance for spice. I asked for a medium level, but it was still very spicy.
The server was very nice and welcoming. He asked us about our preferred spice level for each dish.
The place is spacious, but quite dark. It was hard for me to see the menu clearly, even though we had lunch there. However, the decor is very culturally rich.
In my opinion their quality of food has gone downhill. Pad Thai noodles (IMO) seemed hard compared to other times I've ordered. The holy basil, there was hardly any meat. Majority was veggies, and beef was hard. My daughter ordered the seafood delight and similar issues too (lots of veggies and little protein). The egg rolls, not my favorite. Reminds me of frozen egg rolls put into airfryer. The stuff wing and calamari was my favorite. It's disappointing for a lot of money spent and food was not the greatest.
The food had a nice presentation but was not the best tasting. We ordered mild spice but didn't expect the flavor to be so bland. Figured there would be more than to the flavor than just spice.
The thai tea caused two people at the table to have stomachaches. I didn't order it, so my stomach was fine. The table had some sticky spots.
Pad See Ew noodles:
It was a little hard and too sweet.
Papaya Salad:
Didn't have a lot of flavor, and it tasted too much like lemon. The peanuts were delicious in the dish!
Duck Curry:
The duck was good! It wasn't dry and had very large cuts. The peas and carrots were typical frozen peas and carrots and didn't taste great. The bell peppers were undercooked. The curry flavor was decent, but I was expecting something more and different.
Tom Yum soup (seafood combo):
There was a lot of seafood. This was probably the only dish that was worth the price because of the amount of seafood that was given, though Tom Yum was very generic and wasn't not close to being a great Tom Yum. The shrimp was over cooked.
We decided to try this Thai spot again after visiting a couple of years ago, hoping for a good local option. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The restaurant now seems focused primarily on takeout orders, with only one person managing about 10 tables. It took 10-15 minutes before anyone came to our table, and when the food finally arrived, it was bland and underwhelming. For the price we paid, we definitely expected more and left wishing we had chosen a different restaurant.
Sorry guys; I have to be honest. The food completely lacked the depth of flavors we expected. The beef in the curry was almost too chewy to eat. The egg rolls and sauce were bland. The papaya salad had absolutely no kick or ethnic complexity, despite asking for medium spice. I politely suggest you hire a Lao grandma about 52 years old. She will bring Asia back to your kitchen.
This place is really interesting! It had a robot that delivers food to you and they also have servers. The robot can’t bring liquids to you so the server is watching to see if you need refills or need anything else. Our server was attentive and I liked how she checked in with us a couple times to make sure that we were doing alright. I think this place specializes in Thai food but my table ordered maki sushi rolls. For a place that doesn’t specialize in sushi, the rolls were pretty good. I also got fried vegetarian spring rolls and they were good.
Food was simply divine! The spice level was perfect, my duck, rice and spring rolls were grand, and it arrived fast. Our waitress was friendly and sweet. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and overall a heavenly place to be.
I ordered the Silver thread noodle salad. They put way too much sugar in it to the point it tasted bitter. Other than that, the dish had a lot of potential. I won't be ordering, again.
Love this place! The food and service is excellent.
Great place; to poop on! No can't poop on it, but still a great place!

We love the food. Take out and dine in are both great. Also really friendly folks!
CURRIES ARE NOT GLUTEN FREE
not sure why..??
We asked why and did not get an answer.
This is the only place I've ever been where the curries contain gluten.
The chicken stay is gluten free though..
I've tried this location twice and both times have been disappointed. The egg rolls were mushy and not freshly made. The Thai basil dish was watery with mostly onions, flavored only by dried red pepper. The chicken was flavorless; the brown rice was crunchy. This food has no relationship to the complex flavors of authentic Thai cuisine. Save your money and buy a frozen Lean Cuisine for better flavor and value

I ordered the curry and spring rolls, egg rolls to go, FANTASTIC YUMMIEST. the service was quick, had a pleasant conversation with the hostess.
The best Thai food in Maple Grove
Food was good as usual but slightly less stellar than in the past. We came in later (close to 9) so maybe that was part of it.
They no longer have sushi, but all the other food is delicious!
They will often mess up our to go order, but it's still better than Lotus or the other places in town.
IOrdered the Tom Kha soup & pad, Thai. The soup was completely flavorless. It just tasted like I was drinking coconut milk. The pad Thai was slightly better a little bit more flavor, but still disappointing.. I normally go to a restaurant in Plymouth but I didn’t feel like driving all the way over there so I thought I’d give this place a try I won’t be back I will make the drive to Thai table because their food actually has flavor.
We had soap and it was very good! The food came pretty fast and was tasty. The price was a bit high for lunch but I would go back. Enough food to share with the table if you’re into that.
It is in the shopping mall area, so it’s very convenient for parking and for visiting other places before or afterward.

I ordered a plate of pad see yew and my partner ordered a plate of curry. The noodles were very undercooked with lots of hard pieces and the curry tasted only like peanuts, I told the server I at least didn’t want to pay for the noodles because they were hard and not edible and I used to be a served so I know how it works but he seemed very nervous and scared like he was in trouble. I really didn’t want to pay for it because it was overall very bad but my partner felt bad for the waiter and ended up paying for it all so I left hungry and angry and they charged $50. Never going here again .

Food was okay but not nearly as good as it used to be downtown. And leaving the tails on the shrimp you batter and deep fry on a skewer is just lame. Very unpleasant surprise. It's like biting into a long crunchy/chewy log of mystery meat.
Service... top. atmosphere... top. Food... top.
I love this place!!
I got some carryout for my friend. She loved it! The spring rolls were really good, too.
The place needs some work
A robot will bring your entrees out, so that’s worth the visit alone. The food is also great!
Horrific service. Please do not go to this restaurant. The table next to us arrived after us, received drinks, got their food and paid their bill ALL before we even got our drinks. This is even when we had a reservation for Mother’s Day. What a terrible experience.
It took 45 minutes to get a server to take our order. It took an additional 30+ minutes to get our food. Half of the tables were empty and the place was not busy. The table next to us came after us and had more people. They got their drinks, food, paid, and left before we even got our drinks. Would not recommend eating here.

Love this spot. Great Thai food. The Massamun curry is my go to. My wife loves the various seafood options.
I have always loved Sawatdee - the Minneapolis location. We were feeding nostalgic and stoped at the maple grove location as we had to go there for some errands I can’t believe how bad the food was. The peas and carrots came from a frozen bag - the sauces were watery and starting to separate. Presentation and flatware was no better than old dining service from the 80’s. The bartender didn’t know basic drinks which tasted horrible and the glasses were sticky. Our server was nice but seemed very new and uncomfortable. Another table had their food delivered by the robot which was a surprise since there were only three tables on a Saturday night. The over all lighting in the the place make it feel like bug zappers - it’s blueish and dingy. We will not go back and are very sad to see this beautiful local tradition tarnished by what looks like neglect and cutting corners.
Update: I had to drop one star due to their new portion size of the curry. Comes in a bowl half the size with about a quarter of the amount of curry sauce. I would much rather pay a little more for the same portion. Extremely disappointing.
Sawatedee is my all time favorite restaurant. I highly recommend the red curry and the panang curry. It's made with sweet coconut milk so doesnt have the traditional curry flavor. I could drink it straight it's so delicious. And a mango fling. Also what dreams are made of.
I've been going to Sawatdee for a long time, but the quality has been slipping in the past couple years. We've had a couple times where the booths would be way too close to the table and we couldn't move because customers were on the other side and the food changed a while back to a lower quality and quantity. I hope they breathe some life back into the place, because I used to love going.
The food was only average. Nothing stood out as being "awesome". I think the egg rolls were just hamburger and cabbage. Very bland.
They were "out" of a lot of things, which was strange. I don't know if I'd come back.
Friendly staff and consistently good food for well over the 20+ years I've been going (mpls location was my first). Thanks Sawatdee!
If you want real Thai food? This is not the place for you.
So I have been to Sawatdee many times but not lately as I am tired of the service. I decided to give it a try so this visit we ordered an appetizer and two main dishes!! Both main dishes were chicken and for some reason the one I ordered came with dark meat, which never ever seen in a Thai restaurant. I couldn’t finish my dish because of the dark meat and the chicken came with a piece of fat, they didn’t even bother to cut that fat out, see picture for a proof.
The place doesn’t have air conditioner so be prepared to sweat unless you can handle 85 degrees. Another thing was the furniture, it was disgustingly dirty, see picture. Also they got rid of their robot or they were trying to save some energy.
I’m done with this place until they fix their business, their food and atmosphere. I’d absolutely recommend you try a new place.
Update as of 6 months later, nobody has reached out from the business, which shows you how much they care about their customer service.
I love this Sawatdee… the Pad Thai is amazing. I have had one issue with one order at this place and the management corrected it the same day.
Got the lunch special soup. It was good.
Had a great time. the curry!!! amazing.
service was on point. price is really good for the food.
Terrible.First and Last time.
Great Pad Thai. Ok service. Very cold. Asked multiple times to turn on the heat. They finally did
Really impressed by everything - awesome Thai food, great flavors, super friendly staff.
Everyone here is so nice and they prepare the food so well. I recommend this place!
Food was amazing, and didn't have to wait for a table on a Saturday night in downtown Maple Grove! Service was a little slow and some of the décor seemed off. Otherwise, would recommend just for the food! The red curry and pad thai were outstanding.
We ate here on a Thursday evening and from the moment we walked in the door I knew it wasnt going to go well. They didn't have enough people working for it to run smoothly . Our chicken satay was so dry almost beef jerky. The entrees were underwhelming. The wall next to our table was dirty with food splatters. The bathroom was nasty. Makes me wonder if the kitchen was clean.
Great service, appetizers tasty, the main dish lacked flavor unfortunately
Was not very busy during the time I was here, no waiting. The gentleman who waited on us provided excellent service! It is unfortunate, only vegetable oil is used for cooking. Need to use butter, ghee, beef tallow, or lard.
Ok, at first I'm like oh geez it's in the burbs. They gonna cater to the basic folks around there. So, since I work nearby. I decided to take a try. Never hurts to try. I ordered the glass noodle with chicken and shrimp salad. Because this dish reminds me of how my mom would make her glass noodle salad. I made it to medium to hot spicy. Boy oh boy! That first bite made me happy! Thank goodness they stick to not making it so bland. The spice level is where it's at. The dressing is point. And so fresh! I will return and try other things in the menu! It's a legit Thai place to me! A+++ to the service. Such sweet gentlemen greeting and serving.
Sawatdee always provides great food and service. Highly recommend
Flavorful and delicious
Being a south East Asian person myself, I wouldn’t even call this Thai cuisine. I honestly don’t know what this stuff is. Way to much sugar in every thing. Took a chance and tried a non Thai dish the hot and sour soup. It was really just a hot and sweet soup. Really sad to say this but I should of went to Panda Express instead.
It was my first time here, I ordered 2 Thai teas for to go.. $5 each it’s fine because I know it’s a Thai restaurant. I’ve been to so many Thai restaurants myself and my friend also works at one but size of the cup for the tea doesn’t worth $5 it’s small really really small comparing to other Thai restaurants for $5 and they don’t even fill the tea all the way to the top they left some room for what??? I just don’t get it $5 for a small cup of a tea what a ripoff
We ordered Spring Rolls, which were served with a sweet sauce that was fairly good, and the Spring Rolls were okay. Good start. We also got the combination vegetable stir fry with chicken, the Thai broccoli fried rice with chicken, and two orders of al-a-carte sashimi. The stir fry was flavorful, but there was something odd about the sauce. It was really pretty oily. The fried rice had little flavor. I didn’t eat half of the sushi; the color of the tuna was unfamiliar and it seemed pretty dry. I did eat the salmon; my fingers are crossed. I don’t like leaving a restaurant with uncertainty, so I won’t be going back.
Used to come here more often but for some reason it had been 6 years since I was last here.
Food - this is where they shine the most. The food was fantastic just as I remember. Egg rolls were great and the panang curry with chicken was like stepping back in time. I am glad they still use chicken thigh meat. Portions have gotten a little smaller than they used to be. But I was more than satisfied so no issues there.
Drinks - A little disappointed. We ordered a few beers, they were not fresh tasting. They had some off flavors that were with due to stale beer in the keg or tap lines are not as clean as they should be. I will not be getting tap beer here next time.
Service - Overall happy. A little slow to get our first two beers we ordered. But the server was the only server there at the time and also did the bartending.. So he was busy and was doing fine. He was courteous and friendly. Came to the table to check on us and got the check quickly when we asked.
Atmosphere - this is where they need some drastic improvement. When I was last here 6 years ago the decor was shabby and tired. Nothing has changed.. Even more shabby and mostly asleep now. Feels dark and in dire need of a makeover. Please do something to make the dining experience better. As good as the food is the decor makes me want to go someplace else.
Overall 4 stars. The atmosphere really needs a huge update and should pull my rating even lower. But the food is so good I am only deducting 1 star.
I went to eat there a few weeks ago, and left with two bills for separate tables; one was charged by error with the waiter telling me I can expect a refund within 1-3 days. I called a few days again asking for an update from the manager who said they just switched their system and would call me back. I called back later in the day and asked for a callback. Still waiting...
I love this place! Food is always delicious, and the portions are generous. I always have leftovers for another meal.
Our server, Evan, was great and the red curry was delicious.
This was my second time here, and just as good as the first time! Great service and great food!
The waiter made me pay 12.00 for beef noodle soup I couldn't even eat because the beef was too tough. She could see the bowl was just as full when she took it from the table as when she brought it to the table. I as well told her the reason for me not eating it she simply said sorry and forced me to waist my money I guess. I feel bad I didn't leave a tip but hey they got 12 dollars out of me . Really good spring rolls but I won't be back or recommend.
Ordered roast duck curry.
1. Not ROASTED duck. Skin was still yellow.
2. Tasted like chicken but they insisted it was duck. Twice. (Duck has a pungent smell if you haven't had it)
3. Feathers were not removed. It was disgusting.
I would say 1/3 as it was technically curry but I'm docking the 1 for the feathers.
0/3
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! First time having Tai food so I might not be the best judge of that style of food but it tasted amazing. The servers didn't come back as much as I would like but they were extremely friendly and nice. My only other complaint was that it was pretty hot in there but it wasn't so bad that it was unbearable.
Chicken stir fry was not as good as usual. Chicken was tough and the sauce was not flavorful as usual. Coconut shrimp was over done. No flavor. Egg rolls fell apart hard to eat. Server was pleasant but extremely slow and disappeared for long periods.
Good is not authentic thai food. It's just an American version fast version of thao food. Hot with no AC inside.
Ordered carryout and prepaid on their website. Went to pickup 30 minutes later as instructed. No food for us.. we received a blank stare from the young man working... he said oops I gave your order to someone else. No apology or further explanation. We ask ok can you make it for us again? No, we can't do that, we were told they just had a big order put in and they cant.. Accidents happen but the lack of making it right is unacceptable. A manager overheard our transaction and came over and said she'd make it right and reach out to us this week.... i received a refund but never heard anything from management regarding our experience our compensation as promised that night.
Quick and easy pick up, delicious food!
Great food I do lunch here for the same price as subway
It's a nice date night spot but the food is subpar compared to the dedicated sushi or pho shops nearby. The pho was definitely a let down.
My favorite place to eat in Maple Grove.
This is mine and my partner’s favorite restaurant (the Maple Grove location, specifically-the other locations are no match). The service is phenomenal and genuine, the food hits amazingly every single time. The owner and other staff are so welcoming and friendly that it keeps us as happy and returning customers. We go there several times a month and I have never been disappointed or dissatisfied. When people ask what my favorite food is, I say the fresh, regular spring rolls from Sawatdee, a close second is the beef pho from, you guessed it, Sawatdee. This establishment is and will forever be my favorite, could not speak any higher of it.
They forgot our order and did literally nothing to fix the situation. Frankly it’s just absolutely bad service and they’ve done this to us in the past. Even when you eat in your gonna get bad service so just understand that the food might be OK but they don’t know what they’re doing
Always delicious
Extremely understaffed and unprofessional
Took my mother in law to celebrate her 70th birthday. Waited a bit to get service at our table and ended up with a waitress that was not attentive and clueless at times. The portions were smaller than other Thai restaurants I have been to. I will not be returning to this location, I would get better service at the other thai restaurants.
This was a very frustrating experience. It was a Friday evening and this place was not very busy. The wines we ordered were not available and we did not receive our drinks until after our meal had arrived. There were items labeled on the menu as gluten free, but could not be (California roll with imitation crab). When asked if something was gluten free they said "it was probably fine". They did not clear any plates off the table (4 people) plus a couple of appetizers made it very crowded. We asked several times for more water and never received it. The entrees were delivered at once, but missing one of our orders. We never saw our server again after we placed our order so we had to flag down other servers twice to get the remaining food.
The food was great but service was very slow!! Only had 2 servers for entire restaurant. We had 5 in our party and we waited 45 minutes for our food. I was VERY disappointed in this restaurant. We have eaten here before but unfortunately not sure if I will go back.
Good service. Got food out fast. Not many options for children's drink other than soda. It was a little dimmer inside than I prefer. Ordered laab stuffed wings, have been better in the past, cream cheese wontons good, sticky rice small portion, chicken satay was too dry, the chicken too thick on skewers, red curry chicken good.
Best dish is the curry but portion is pretty small for the price. Laab is ok. Missing the lime. Bill was about $100, on the higher end.
A little slow on getting door. 3 tables that came in after us got served before us. Also 2 people got there food 10 mins before the rest of us. It was a good experience but could have been a lot better. Food was great!
Food was amazing!
The spring rolls are awesome. Everything we had from drinks to apps to main dish was perfect. They have been around awhile and you can tell they know what they are doing. If I lived closer it would be dangerous for my wallet.
They had a robot server which was pretty neat.
DeeDee is the bomb!!!!
It's been a long time since I was here last and all I can say is I hope it's not that long of a wait until my next visit! The food is phenomenal and came pretty quickly, the servers were very fun, and our food was delivered to the table by an adorable little robot with a fox sticker on her named DeeDee. I would go back just for that little robot.
We purposely went after 4 so we could take advantage of the sushi, which was yet another great surprise. The spicy tuna roll, which is usually a pretty basic dish, had a surprising amount of fresh vegetables in it that gave it not only a satisfying crunch but really boosted the flavor of an otherwise fairly simple thing at other restaurants. I highly recommend it.
The food was quite bad and the service slow. They seemed understaffed so maybe it was just an off day.
The robot is pretty cool though.
I got the chef’s sashimi platter and it was average at best. The chicken wings were terrible but the jalapeño krab rangoons were good.
Overall not a great experience.
Great place with vegan options.
Our server Crystal was such a sweetheart. The sushi was to die for and probably the best prepared edamame I’ve ever had. We had also gotten the soft crab and it was perfectly crunchy and delicious. If you’re indecisive about what to get when it comes to sushi 10000% get the funky roll and the chef will decide for you:)
Amazing sushi. Came here for the first time today and started with edamame with was soft and easy to eat, as well as the soft shell crab which was crunchy and delicious. I ordered the out of control roll, and I couldn’t have asked for better. Also ordered the funky roll (chefs choice) which appeared to be a yellowtail fish with avocado, cucumber, and crab meat. Our server Crystal was kind and helpful as well as the other staff that we encountered. Will definitely be coming here again.
Something has changed in the spring rolls and peanut sauce. Used to be way better.
Worst Thai food ever. No flavor or spice at all.
The food here is great, but the service is the exact opposite. Having to wait 1 hour to even get a water is unacceptable.
Food was delicious! I will be back again to order the red curry with mock duck. Portions are large and can confirm the red curry is delicious as lunch the next day! Service seemed a little stressed on Valentine's day. I suspect it was busier than a regular Tuesday so I'll absolutely be back again to give it another go.
Always great! One of our favorite restaurants. Number 9 roll is our go to! Always fresh. Pad thai and fried rice are so good. Wontons with jalepeno and Sue's egg rolls wont disappoint. Outdoor seating in the summer. Service is great and everyone is super friendly.
Good Thai food and Sushi
Amazing service! Every staff member is highly attentive to all customers who walk in the door and it's very impressive.
Unfortunately I recall this place as being somewhat better... Went with a group of some 6 people, and the 2 of us who ordered Zushiya sushi had to take it in to-go boxes as it arrived nearly an hour late (!) after the food from Sawatdee. It was an unfortunate experience that I am sure is not regular, but was a bummer nonetheless.
Consistently good.
The establishment itself is nice. And the waiting staff are kind people. They establishment has low lighting, music, and interesting decorative pieces throughout. And a little robot (Dee-Dee) who brings out the food.
For an appetizer, we had the fresh spring rolls. They were quite nice. They contained cilantro, lettuce, rice noodle, carrot, chicken, and shrimp. The spring rolls came with a side of dipping sauce.
I had the wonton soup, which was very delicious. My wonton soup choice contained chicken, Chinese cabbage, cilantro, spices, and what could've been a large chunks of onion.
I also purchased the Laab Esan(#28). I did not like the flavor of this dish. The flavor wasn't for me. The Laab Esan contained chopped beef with lemon juice, cilantro, and green onion.
Great Curry
Amazing food… amazing service! I have never been disappointed!
Every dish we have ever had is exceptional.
The atmosphere and service was great, however, not so much the food. We received all of our food cold. Not authentic Thai food, but definitely like a Panda Express for Thai food.
Food came out quickly and tasted great. Even have a fancy robot to bring out food/drinks etc.
It's a bit cold, but like, that's not their fault. Great food, Delicious sushi and drinks. 👏👏
Sawatdee is my absolute favorite restaurant of all time. I always get the panaang & red curry because the sauce is to die for and then something new to try. Highly recommend you check it out. Price is very reasonable. I get about three meals for two people every time I go and it's only about $50 before tip. And the service is always excellent.
Note to restaurant: last time I was in you'd changed the bowls the curry was served in. Made the chicken and vegetables look like an amazing portion but left so little room for the curry juice that there wasn't enough by any means. I was so disappointed. But I love it so I just asked for an extra side of the sauce; however it was not the same. Flavors didn't match. Anyway, I'll be back, but PLEASE put it back in the full bowls with all the sauce. I'm begging you.
Not sure what happened to this place, but the food quality is not the same anymore.
Smaller plate, more expensive, no big deal, but they've lost the flavor altogether. Also, water down sweet n sour sauce, really? So sorry, I hope they get it together before too it's too late.
Always the best Pad Thai in the city. The flavor and level of spice hit the mark. We tried the chicken curry fried rice, and it was so good. I don't think I will have any other kind, it was just so tasty. In general, the atmosphere is a little Blasé. They haven't changed the decor in over 15 years, but if that keeps them in business, then I think it's fine.
Just what we needed for a working lunch
Delicious, first time trying this place. I had the chicken pad Thai and it was comparable to my other favorite Thai Restaurant.
The best Pad Thai I've ever had and I've had alot!!!!!
Menu claims tempura entrée came with miso & salad. Ordered delivery (currently sick & miso sounded soooo good), got usual well tied bag from when I pick up, no miso, no salad. ☹️
Really bad Thai food. Ordered red curry, laab and beef jerky. Red curry is sour and the chicken was so soft your grandpa could eat it without dentures. The laab was tasteless and herbless, rice powder tasted non-existent. The beef jerky was over deep fried and too thin. The dry pepper requested to spice up the dishes looked and tasted like the red pepper flakes you get from Dominoes.
Pretty bland. We got the pad see ew and it was just wet noodles with some red pepper flakes. The egg rolls tasted like seasoned ground beef. I've eaten at the other locations and they were great, this new location has the worst Thai food I've had, I'm sorry to say :(
My friends and I went to get dinner here on a whim, and we couldn't even finish our entrees because it tasted so bad. The service was very slow despite the restaurant only being half full, but the appetizers were delicious and worth the wait so we decided to ignore the poor service. We were excited to get our main entrees, because we expected our entrees to taste just as good the appetizers. We were also impressed by the robot presenting our meals, which made us even more excited to eat our food. But when we took our first bites into our meal, we were very disappointed.
The pad thai tasted very strange. I thought my friend was exaggerating about the weird taste at first, but when I tried it, the sauce tasted almost like burnt cooking oil, it's hard to even really describe. My other friend, who's vegan, found beef at the bottom her meal. She considered taking it home after taking out all the tofu (which was not good) until she saw that. Speaking of, the tofu in our food was very rubbery and hard to chew, and made it hard to finish our meals. The taste of the sauce on my food was good, but the protein and the consistency was not. I was strictly raised not to waste food, but I could barely eat my meal. My friend and I also felt sick the day after eating here, which made it even worse.
The only reason I decided to rate this place two stars instead of one is because again, the appetizers were delicious, and we really regretted not ordering a bunch of appetizers instead of main entrees. If we had just the appetizers, it would be a very different review. We will not be going here again.
好吃,服務佳,空間舒適
朋友大推蛋捲
I'd love to give this place 5 stars because the service was great last night! I will be coming back on a Tuesday for the $42 date night of entrees, dinner for 2, and a bottle of wine. Maybe then I can update to 5 stars.
The food aside from the Pad Thai was okay. The Pad Thai was great though.
We had takeout. The order got messed up through ubereats. The staff did a great job of looking up the order and helping me reorder. They were also very friendly while I waited. As always, the food was tasty.
Good food and good selection
I have been coming here for years and iv always thought the food was pretty amazing. Over the last year though something has changed . I feel like every time I order either someone different is cooking it or the ingredients or recipes change. Sometimes it's extra garlic sometimes it's an extra onion taste or no flavor at all. Portion sizes have varied, between recieving a full container or a half container of food. I'm not sure what is going on but it's been disappointing. Can someone explain to me if you have different cooks do they all follow the same recipes?
Food always delicious!!!
The robot server was very cool!!!
Walked in, was seated by the host. Waitress brought out waters, said she'd be back in a few minutes but never returned to our table. People came in after us and had their orders taken next to us. Another couple came in and was served food at the bar while we waited for our waitress to come back. The restaurent was less than half full and there seemed to be a lot of staff walking around. We stuck around for over 40 minutes before we decided to leave.
Thai food for white people.
I got the Rama thai delight spice 4/5. A curry. With some sushi and appetizer sampler. They brought it all at the same time so my main dish got cold. It's not thai spice levels so I didn't really feel any heat at all. The peanuts were very overwhelming and was not good. Only good side is it looks very pretty. Both the restuarant and the plating. Not gonna come here again.
The best Green curry chicken in town! So delicious and tasty with ginormous slices of jalapeños, super spicy 🌶 just the way I like it! 🍲🍲😋
And talk about the chicken in it, big chunks, tender and juicy and I mean CHICKEN! Ok! 🍗🍗😋
Not thin slices of chicken breast, but dark and white all of it!
I am staffed! I was planning on getting some spring rolls, but the tummy said lest wait till next time! Haha! And I am coming back for them.
And I got the same feedback on the Panang Curry as well from my partner, first time visit 2 items of their menu.
Definitely worth visiting again!
If you are in the area, try it! 👍🏽👍🏽🍲❤️😋
Gluten-free chicken pad tai was not impressive. Very runny, chicken was nasty (texture and taste).
Waitress was very nice.
I've been to several other locations but haven't been to this one. It certainly did not disappoint. I recommend the Thai jerky and Sue's egg rolls.
Great food. Not too salty and the price was right.
Think I did not get what I ordered
Love it, but do I’d seems to have lowered the look and feel of the place. Seems tired and maybe even dirty.
Mother/Daughter lunch. We wanted to try a new restaurant, and this was a hit. Perfectly cooked scallops and shrimp, more rare than a lot of people know. The sauce was delicious, service excellent. Our server even gave me advice on how to reheat the leftovers.
We were visiting from out of town and my aunt brought us in because it’s her favorite Thai place. The owner was there and she was so sweet and even gave us a plate of egg rolls (which were delicious!). Will definitely be back!!
Order a Tom Yum Goong at spice level 3, trust me
I just don't really know what's going on here. I've eaten here 2 times in the last few months after not eating here for years because we live in the SW Metro. We used to come here all the time 10+ years ago and it was packed, food was awesome and the service was awesome.
I came in Feb, my food was good, service even with the robot was really really slow, I just figured they were understaffed like the rest of the world and left it alone.
My family and I came back tonight, there were maybe 2 other tables in there at the same time. Everyone was very nice and polite, however it took forever to get drinks, took forever to get our food. They forgot my food. It didn't come out for another 15 minutes after everyone else got their food. The Pad Thai was like a soup, my curry came with like 4 teaspoons of rice. We didn't get any drink refills, even after asking twice. Then I asked for extra rice so I could eat my food that they forgot about at home, that never came. Still got charged for everything. The whole thing just made me sad. Then a different waitress brought out an appetizer that didn't belong to us.
It's obvious that there isn't any training or appropriate management going on here. We probably won't return again. Also, all the other restaurants in the area were packed since it's a Friday, so this must be a normal experience and the locals must know. What a bummer.
