Several times I have glanced at this restaurant, but never thought to eat there. I was next door today with my mother and finally we had decided to try the food. Upon walking inside, the beauty of the restaurant and its decorations caught our eye. We were greeted with a smile from the sushi master as well as the gentleman at the front counter. We were told to take our seats wherever we pleased, and we could not decide what to get from the menu because everything looked so good. We decided on getting the pineapple fried rice, green curry with chicken which came with a side of white rice, the lino crunch roll and the negihama maki. All of that food was delicious and plenty to split with my mother. Their water was splendid. Thee silverware, the glasses, and the whole restaurant all together was spotless. I will definitely be returning and it is very close to home, about a 16 minute drive, which is worth it. The prices are reasonable and the portions are good. The service is very fast and the staff is very friendly, between the three staff members that we had saw, all three of them had very nice smiles and they were consistently checking on their guests to make sure the food was good, to refill waters when needed and even waves goodbye from these amazing people. I would highly recommend this place.

If that’s what they meant I wish they would have explained that and I wouldn’t have gotten it, but that still wouldn’t make sense since it hasn’t been an issue before. Egg rolls don't have a lot of filling in them but the sauce is good.

I forgot to take pictures of the food, but the red curry was delicious and my husband could not get enough of the curry fried rice. One of our favorite dishes is always the shrimp salad, which I have had before, but will continue to order over and over again. I highly recommend checking out this small family business. The food was delicious and flavorful - the portion sizes were also generous which were perfect for next day leftovers.

The service was fantastic. We had 4 kids at our table and the server brought their food out first but all other food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. Our friendly server also was quick to fill our glasses and check on us throughout our meal.

I have never been disappointed by the service, the speed, and the flavors of all the variety of foods at Chili Thai Cuisine! The level of spicy is great as I love very spicy while my wife only wants low spicy, and my kids want zero spice. We have been enjoying CTC mostly for carry out for over six years and they have never once mixed up the orders on level of spiciness for our family. So many choices, everything is delicious! Even my picky eaters enjoy the egg rolls and spring rolls here!

They are always friendly and accommodating for spice. They have the best green curry and peanut curry, and the satay, egg rolls, and spring rolls are all also delicious.

The wonton soup has vegetables which isn't common but so good! Cute atmosphere and very friendly.

We eat a lot of sushi in our household. This has quickly become one of our absolute favorite takeout sushi spots. We would highly recommend.

As locals, this is easily one of our favorite restaurants. Amazing food, unique atmosphere, and always friendly staff!

We have ordered from Chili Thai Cuisine in the past, and we have always enjoyed their food. We stopped in today for the first time in person, and we were not disappointed! The food, as always, was delicious. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was relaxing. I forgot to take pictures of the food, but the red curry was delicious and my husband could not get enough of the curry fried rice. One of our favorite dishes is always the shrimp salad, which I have had before, but will continue to order over and over again. I highly recommend checking out this small family business. This restaurant has some of the friendliest staff in the area. They are wonderful!

Always love coming here when I am craving Curry Soup. The main server has basically remembered a the things we like when we go there. She works very hard managing all the tables and appreciates our enjoyment of the food and being there. The egg rolls are unique and delicious too! Honestly not a bad dish in the place. The sushi is good too and I highly recommend adding it to your curry or rice dish - although they now limit the days it is available. Overall the place must be outstanding to most people because it seems like there is always at least 1 or 2 people waiting for takeout. If you are looking for savory, flavor filled spicy curry and other clean, great tasting Asian dishes, this is the place.

Amazing Basil fried rice and mango pudding

The food is fantastic and the service even better. We had an issue with an online delivery service, not the restaurant. When I called the restaurant to figure out what was going on, they got us all straightened out and put in a phone order. Then we messed up our payment. It was a bit of a fiasco, but the owner was gracious and understanding. Absolutely recommend and will be ordering from here regularly.

Authentic Thai cuisine and enjoyed spring rolls, Thai coffee, Basil fried rice, and vegetable fried rice. The service was good and prompt, arrived within 15 minutes of ordering. The host was attentive, although the rice was slightly undercooked. Overall, it's a good spot for genuine Thai food.

I’ve reviewed Chili Thai before and I really enjoyed the orange chicken. This time I also ordered Won ton soup along with 3 other entrees, all but one with the optional fried rice which I believe cost an extra $3.50 for each. Upon arriving home, discovered we were short the one white rice. Fortunately there was enough fried rice; however, the fried rice was pretty disappointing as it only has egg added to it. Certainly not worth the up charge. The soup and orange chicken was still very good and I will return the next time I visit Blaine. But I will check my order carefully before leaving. This is why tipping online is not a good idea and next time I will tip in cash if I feel it is warranted.

The sesame chicken was good. We also tried the curry fried rice which was just okay. Felt like it was missing something flavor wise. I did enjoy the Veggie egg rolls.

My wife and I stopped by here and we're not impressed, the food we got was bad, the chicken in my dish was hard and not very tasty. The service was quick but we wouldn't go back.

Update 02/01/2024: Still an amazing restaurant with poilite staff and delicious food. Cream cheese wonton and pork egg rolls are a must every time. Thai tea is always refreshing paired with any entree. We typically go between beef sweet & sour, pad see ew, pad thai, etc.

Excellent atmosphere and vibe. Very kind staff and quick service. Would 100% recommend the cream cheese puffs, pad see ew, and pad thai!

I've tried quite a few Thai restaurants around Minnesota and there are only two that I love, and Chili Thai is one. Their food is delicious, flavors are well incorporated especially when you ask for spicy, something many other restaurants fail to do; so many other restaurants I ask for Thai spicy or extra spicy and am let down or it's just chili oil thrown on top which is quite disappointing, but when me and my husband ask for extra spicy here our mouths are gladly burning. My husband and I come here at least once a month, we tried checking out the other Thai restaurants closer to us but keep coming back because nothing else compares. It's sad to see it's never busy, because the food is amazing, and the staff are so friendly and kind, they've come to know us and our order. We always get the egg rolls, which are on special Tuesdays, pad kee mao, Thai iced tea, and a mango sticky rice. We've tried all of their protein options, and I've settled on shrimp being my fav and my husband's is the mock dock. Their Thai iced tea is the perfect sweetness, and actually tastes like tea unlike others I've tried which are extremely sweet and taste like a fake drink mix. The spring rolls and gyoza are also delicious, as well as the sushi. We are trying to branch out more with what we try on their menu but it's hard when we know our staples are so delicious. If you live in the area please support this restaurant, I promise you it won't disappoint! We drive 45 min because it's that good.

Pad Thai was awesome! Egg rolls too!

Asked for actually spicy, got actually spicy. All the food was super fresh got the Pad Kee Mao and the Pad See Eiw both amazing with awesome chewy noodles and fresh shrimp that was huge and perfectly cooked.
Also veggie egg rolls. THE BEST PAPAYA SALAD. and can’t miss the mango sticky rice. Also got the teka maki and Negihama rolls.
We will be back to try the Tom yum and Tom Kha Kai!!
Also the lady serving us was super quick and polite and nice.

Also it was somehow super cheap for all that food so we tipped nice :)

UPDATE!!!: it’s been 6 months and these people keep cranking out the best Thai food in minnesota hands down. There’s no arguing the best. This. is. the. best.
In the above review I know I mentioned the spice but they make nonspicy food too! What the hell are you people waiting for ?! Eat here. Now. We eat on tuesdays because I hate tuesdays and this gets me through till Friday. The only problem is they’re 45 minutes away . We still come every week.
I just really hate when all the best restaurants aren’t doing as well but the fast food chain next door has a line. This is comforting and healthyish food (if you don’t order the wontons ;).)

Finally- the food that I originally listed is so damn good that me and my wife still haven’t tried anything else yet . We HAVe however, tried other Thai restaurants and after a dozen or so we still come here.

Have been here many times and we are almost always satisfied. The last couple times I was disappointed to see that the portions were much smaller than in years past (this was before inflation and shrinkflation was a thing).
Flavor and service-wise, though, the place is top notch. And their egg rolls?? Best thing they have. 🤤

My husband and I went to Thailand recently for our honeymoon and this food tastes just as good in my opinion, which the food in Thailand was absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend ordering from here for takeout night. I got the chicken red coconut curry and it's sweet/spicy/savory, super tasty! Also, the service was amazing and fast, and picking up inside the store it seemed clean and had a very nice atmosphere

I do enjoy the items I've eaten here. But sometimes little details are missed or ignored. Peanut sauce was forgotten on one occasion with my spring rolls. Dry without it. Philly rolls I ordered tonight had very little avocado and added cucumber. It almost seems as if they thought we might not notice and were trying to get by cheaply. Also didn't get fortune cookies ... who doesn't enjoy a fortune cookie? They complete the meal. Curry was good. This was a takeout order.

The food here is for suburban, flag-flying Americans with no international travel experience. True Thai flavors are not present, and have been replaced with a simple flavor profile with a lot of sugar. If you like your food that way, this is the place for you. Authentic and deeper flavors need to be sought farther away from Blaine/Lino Lakes.

Amazing food and service. We were seated immediately and ordered the cream cheese wontons, pad thai, philly roll, spicy tuna roll and mango sticky rice. Everything was got had great presentation and it was fresh.

I have been here twice in 2 years for work (Hay Days) and the sushi and service is consistently amazing! I would recommend dining here! Never have been disappointed! Will be returning in the years to come! Staff is very welcoming and courteous! I would recommend!

I asked some questions, and our waiter knew what type of cuisine we were looking for. We were looking for authentic Thai food and right away he informed us this was more of an americanized thai restaurant. I am glad he told us that because they would have judged based on different criteria if he hadnt. Was a very nice and smiley young man. Really appreciate his good service besides not getting us bowls and soup spoons for the Tom Yum soup everything was good. I got the beef salad, tom yum soup, and papaya like i always do. I asked them to try and make the papaya salad as close to asian style as possible. It did not turn out well. It was salty and sour but i will not include that in my assessment since i told them to do something they dont typically do. The tom yum was just too sweet. The balance with acid was just not there. The beef salad, though not authentic, had good flavor. It did not have many herbs you would expect it to have and it had green bell peppers and glass noodles in it but it tasted good. A nice balance of saltiness, acid, and sweetness. The dishes came with a bit of white jasmine rice and not sticky rice. The spice scale is also the american scale which is expected. For those who eat spicier they have the "Thai spicy" level right after the spicy level you can try also. Overall i think they did a good job and knowing what i know now i wouldnt have had them try to make authentic papaya salad. I wish i could have tried what their americanized papaya salad wouldve tasted like. I also order the mango salmon poke bowl to go but had them replace the salmon with tuna. I give them slightly above 4 stars.

A real hidden gem. Hard to see from Lake Drive, so you have to know where you're going. Exceptional food at an unbelievable price. We had a couple appetizers and a curry dish - all excellent - and the bill was $36. Highly recommend.

The best Pad Thai I have ever had, and a big portion. Lo mein pretty good too. Also really love their chicken satay and the wontons are a good value. Wished the gyoza were a little bigger but only because they are also very tasty.

I have ordered quite a few things off their menu and everything I have eaten had been amazing. I was greeted so nicely when I walked in to place a Togo order. The food came out very fast and the presentation was beautiful. Inside the restaurant is also very beautiful. If you are considering eating here I highly suggest you do!! Chili Thai Cuisine did NOT disappoint.

Tried this place based on reviews, but do not plan on returning. We ordered gyoza, chicken pad thai, pad woon sen with shrimp, and a #9 sushi roll.
Gyoza was standard pre-fab and deep fried. Chicken pad thai lacked flavor and was mushy. Pad wood sen was the best out of what we ordered but shrimp were barely warm. The #9 didn't resemble the roll we expected and tasted off...can't be sure but heard them microwave something behind the sushi bar when preparing it...it was the worst thing we had and tasted old.
Service was friendly and prompt, but I cannot recommend the food.

Chili Thai has the best Thai food ever! It is definitely my favorite restaurant in the area!

I absolutely love this place! It is beautiful inside and the people are so nice. Every meal that I've had has been absolutely delicious! Their curry may be some of the best I've ever had. Same with their fresh Vietnamese spring rolls!

Best beef and broccoli anywhere. The curries are also fantastic. The shrimp roll appetizer is outstanding. Pair any of these with a Singha Thai beer and you'll achieve nirvana.

Peanut curry, fresh spring rolls, and sticky rice with mango. My husband and I get the same order every time because it is so amazing. We even left our campsite to pick it up and bring it back one time. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

The waitress was nice. My Red Curry with tofu was delicious! Really good. Only complaint, cleanliness. Please wipe down your menus. They were nasty sticky. I wasn't about to eat my food after handling those menus. Attention to details is important.

Delicious, fast service, good prices.

Food is good, tasty! I have noticed since Covid, portions are smaller and prices are higher. I respect them needing to make changes to remain open. However, if we pay for EXTRA items (ex: extra meat) the expectation is that we can tell that there is extra meat. Today that was not evident. What I once was able to get for $28 today cost me $39. So inflation is hitting everyone hard.

Food was good but portion sizes were extremely small. I got a chicken Pad Thai and for $14 I would have expected more but after finishing it I'm still not full. Maybe it's a result of inflation but their portion sixes used to be more

Love the food here!! The only reason for 3 stars is the spice level is very inconsistent. I've ordered the same things over and over with the same spice level and sometimes it's mild with a hint of spice and sometimes things are so spicy they're inedible. And we do fairly well when it comes to spice. Would be 5 stars if they could keep the spice levels consistent.

First time trying it! It was delicious and did not disappoint! I will for warn the medium here is very spicy. We got the chicken lettuce wraps in medium, it was very delicious but next time I would stay with mild. I normally like things spicy too! We will be trying again for sure!

My friend & I had lunch there. Wontons were fantastic. My sweet & sour chicken was too. We'll be going there often.

Walked in. Place was completely empty. Sat down. Waitress handed us water. Didn't say hello. Walked away. Never came back to table to ask if we had any questions or if we were ready to order. Abput 10 mins later we walked out. A little smile and a hello goes a long way....

I can not get enough of this place. I always get the same thing. Mango sticky rice and chicken satay for appetizer, Thai iced tea and a water. The. Peanut curry with another mango sticky rice but that one goes home a d I eat it later. Same thing every time. Test service

What a gem! I tried it first for lunch with a friend and returned the very next day with my family! It was that good. Ingredients were so fresh, vegetables were cooked perfectly, and the breading was light on the sesame and orange chicken that my kids got. So delicious, service was impeccable and made for a wonderful dining experience. Support this local business and family, you won't be disappointed.
