Definitely check out this Sunday market when it is in season.
We were able to buy and sample various specialties that you might not get from most Thai establishments. We had papaya salad, northern sausage, mango sticky rice, seafood fritters, nam vam (tri color drink), and fried bananas. There was so much variety!
There are some vendors selling non food items, as well as produce.
You are also able to go into the temple for meditation if you would like as long as you are respectful.
Since it is a seasonal market, there are a variety of booths opened. It is one of the best street foods out here in Michigan. Towards the end of the season, you must lookout as there are less booths opened. The most highly recommended foods, traditional to Thai are: coconut desserts like pancake and pink chestnut, banana fritters, mango sticky rice, pork buns, noodles, papaya salad, and pork skewers!
Excellent choices of traditional foods from our local Thai families who cook on the premises. Each table has unique items to sell. Everything is prepared & packed in containers for you. Picnic tables are available to enjoy your foods right there. Highly recommend a visit.
Lovely lovely lovely!! The vendors are sweet and everything we purchased has been a must try!! Every visit we do we try something new but we always make sure to take a papaya salad!
Amazing people and fantastic classic Thai food that benefits the local Buddhist temple. We can’t recommend this place enough! They only do the market every other Sunday so check the attached card for seasonal days that will be open. Oh, and don’t miss the pad Thai, red curry and papaya salad!
Like most folk who've came recently, I saw this on tiktok and had to go. All the food was delicious and everyone was so nice. Fun to talk, meet with new people and eat great food!
It's a good experience. The food is as authentic as you can get, and it's all pretty good. Maybe a bit overpriced, but that's alright for the whole it. Bring a friend cause the lines are long.

A nice outdoor cooking/dining experience!
Love going here every Sunday
My only complaint is most of the vendors only accepted cash....

This is a must try ! This Thai market will blow your mind. A lot of authentic Thai food, a lot of culture in a small space.
This was my first time and I'd go again. There were a few vendors that I purchased from and shared tables with ppl to try my purchases.

It’s a great place to see the Southeast Asian culture. It’s very crowded at times so please respect the vendors.

I hundred percent agree with the previous review. Look for their FB page. Midwest Buddhist Medetation Center. Amazing Thai food.
