Got Pineapple Fried rice with Tofu, was exactly what I wanted. They have 4 levels of spice, mild, medium, hot, very hot. I chose medium. Was just below crying hot. Little bit of a runny nose and cough from the spice, which was ideal.
Tofu wasnt dry either, excellent choice to come here. I can see why its rated so highly.

Every time I walk into this place, I'm so happy to make an order. If I have questions, they're very informative and eager to inform you about their cuisine.
I encourage you to try the coconut cream drink, it's fun and delicious!! The mango and sticky rice comes with a sweet coconut cream, which will fill your mouth with a warm feeling each bite. If you don't like spice, I encourage you to keep it low.
If you're one that loves spice, kick it to the next notch! The green curry is out of this world delicious The time yum soup add some spice and pow! Excitement in your mouth! When walking in, your greeted with a warm welcome. This place is a hidden gem that is a must try. I strongly encourage not passing this delicious hidden gem.

My husband and I were craving Thai, the other night. We usually only frequent one particular restaurant around the area, so we decided to try something new. I'll tell you what, I'm glad we did! We started with hot & sour soup, Tom Yum, and moved into the entrées...
I had the chicken Garlic Delight with an iced Thai Coffee, and the other half ordered the Pad Thai.
Everything was delicious!!! The menu has a lot of choices, so I can't wait to try something new.
The service was very nice, too (very attentive)!
We will return, for sure!

Picked up take out last night from this local hidden gem and ordered Khao Pad Chicken with a few spring rolls and was highly satisfied with both the quality of the food and service. Delicious, hot, fresh authentic Thai and Hmong cuisine served with a smile. Definitely recommend!

This is one of my favorite places for Thai food. Tasteful food, great atmosphere and can't beat the service.

I've been here twice now and both times it was excellent food at a good price. I'll keep coming back as long as this continues to be the case!

Everything was delicious, generously portioned, and with nice presentation. We had drunken noodles, chicken satay, and crispy chicken. There's something special about the ceiling, which makes the atmosphere a five, along with the massive aloe plant.

Great thai & hmong food!

First time visiting. Thought we’d give this place a try due to the high reviews. This is a typical mom & pop style restaurant. Our waitress was attentive and nice.
My wife ordered the Tom yum soup, which I tasted a little bit. We both thought it was amazing. Probably one of the best Tom Yum soup we ever tasted. We also ordered the spicy wings coated in Thai sweet chili sauce.. this was not good. Neither of us liked it.
For our entree’s we ordered basil fried rice with chicken (medium spice) and green curry with chicken (medium spice). Both tasted average. Unfortunately, we weren’t impressed overall, but appreciate the effort.

Friendly.Clean.Delicous. We dined in. This is not FAST FOOD. Worth the wait. Ordered Satay Chicken and Beef Pad Thai. Medium level was perfect for me. Hot Level had my nephew 😓. Food portion is a nice size and price for dinner was $40. Enjoyed the music. We recommend and we will return soon. Free parking.

The food is amazing, and traditional flavors bubble over not just hot to be hot. Staff is fun and professional. In my lunch rotation for sure. Try the Bistro chicken.

Som Jai Thai was everything you want from a casual place in a strip mall. The staff were friendly, pleasant and attentive. The food was tasty with authentic Thai flavors- not the all-too-frequent generic asian masquerading as Thai. If you're looking for fancy atmosphere with royal dishes and presentation, this is not your place. But it was delicious, comfortable and affordable. Highly recommend!

We love this place! I eat a ketogenic diet and they are always willing to accommodate me. I order the chicken pad Thai without noodles and they load it up with egg, bean sprouts, and added veggies. One of the few Thai places that will accommodate keto and also tastes fantastic!

I ordered 2 spring rolls, Thai fried rice with, chicken, shrimp, pork and 2 extra fried eggs with an order of spicy marinated wings. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS and the portions are generous. 3-4 people can eat off of the fried rice alone. The prices are very budget friendly and the service was absolutely amazing. For a first time patron, I will most definitely be coming back. My son and I enjoyed every bit of this meal with extra to carry home for later. This place is a must try.

I stopped while in the area and based on other reviews. The soup was excellent. I dined in for that. I took Curry and pineapple fried rice to go. The lunch crowd is brisk here and carry out. The waitress was pleasant and there was a wait for the carry out but not crazy long. I would like to return to dine in next time. Everything we got was great though.

When I came here I checked the reviews first and they were very positive. Then I got inside and no one was there! I must say it was an odd hour to eat dinner so this must be excused. I'm leaving this review hoping that it's not empty the next time I come! This is the best Thai restaurant I've ever eaten at and I've eaten Thai food all along the East coast and midwest, to include multiple on Manhattan. Had fried rice, Tom yum soup, a noodle dish, and the crab Rangoon. I'll be visiting again soon.

I had a party of 4. Our dishes included the gang gai chicken curry, spicy wings, chicken fried rice and pad see ew. We were very pleased with order. Food was on point and they give a generous amount as well. Aside from their Thai dishes, try their Hmong dishes too, you will not be disappointed! I order from here all the time. 😊

Best Thai restaurant in Warren. Love that they have a Hmong menu. Everything we ordered, the pork belly and sausage with sticky rice, the Pad see eww and the Pad ped were all spot on flavorful and good portion size. Will definitely be back soon.

With such a high rating, my wife and I stopped by after a show for a bite of Thai. We walked in and there was origami hanging from the ceiling, and a television playing thai music videos, that was it. Nothing really on the walls, tables, nothing, just mono colored walls. But that's ok, i guess, but we think food is an experience, and not just taste. The waitress was really nice, and attentive enough. We ordered the spring rolls, shrimp and chicken pad Thai, and a chicken kow pad. Both mild. I like my heat, my wife is not really a fan of things too spicy. And when you go to a family owned Thai restaurant, my rule is that you order mild the first time, because you want flavor first and to test their scale. Spring rolls came out, and they were hot, flaky, stuffed full, and flavorful. We were excited. Once the entreès came, the excitement faded, the rice looked bland, just dark rice and chicken, wasn't very fragrant. The pad thai looked pretty. Nice stack of sprouts, healthy scoop of ground peanuts, and a lime, presented well. Besides the PUDDLE of sauce on the bottom of the plate. At least a half cup of juices. Yet both dishes lacked much flavor, decent kick for mild, but that was really the only flavor. Decently large portions though. My wife ate about a quarter of her food, I only consumed about 4 to 5 bites. We then had a 50 minute drive home back to Ypsilanti. By the time we got home, she ran to the bathroom, after about 10 minutes, I had to rush her out because I had to get in there. We traded places a few times. Needless to say we threw the food in the bin that night. Felt better in the morning after some pepto and vernors. 40 bucks for the portions wasn't too bad, but it just wasn't worth it. Service and spring rolls were wear saved it from a 1 star.... but for this place to have a 4.9 out of 5 stars with 90+ reviews is baffling to me

Sooo delicious. My husband had the pork belly with rice and i had their pad thai and a Thai iced tea. We also both had the spring roll appetizers which were perfect. It was exactly what we were looking for. Our server was also very kind. 💖

I think I finally found "my" Thai place. I have been trying to find amazing Thai food since I moved here. The Some Jai Thai cuisine (B1) has been the dish I have been searching for too. I get some thing similar at another place and always disappointed when a Thai place doesn't have it. (probably its also because I don't know what it's called... and still don't) But this places version is so good! also tried drunken noodles and a curry dish. they were also good. Daughter loved the drunken noodles. but for me I'm most excited for the B1. I will be back for more next weekend.

I ordered dinner sizes of the Wai-Wai Noodles ($11.99), Pad Almond ($12.49) and Garlic Delight ($12.49). The lady that took the order was so very nice and the order was prepared fairly quickly for carry out. The food was delicious, however I was very disappointed with the portion sizes. The Wai-Wai Noodles were a good portion size and full of noodles. However, the Pad Almond & the Garlic Delight Thai rice dishes were in such small containers (the Hefty small black plastic containers) I had to call to make certain I wasn't given a lunch size. They assured me I was given a dinner size. Even the container of rice seemed small... particularly for the $12.49 price for each of the Thai Rice dishes.

The flavor of the meals were spot on heat levels and quite delicious, however I will not order any rice dishes from here again. If I order from here again, I would definitely order the noodle dishes which were not only tasty but nicely portioned.

Just to clarify any price error or discrepancy on my part, I used your Google menu tab to place my order & I incorrectly posted the Seafood add-on prices instead of the non-Seafood prices, which my order consisted of so the prices you replied with are correct and I have corrected the PRICES in my initial review. Thank You!👍

However, based on the appropriate price breakdown, it is still a bit off from what I paid. My total bill (paid w/cash) was $40.87 for all three dinner meals...of which two meals were in very small containers for a dinner size. I do understand NOW based on your reply that you were out of the appropriate containers (16oz PINT, 32oz QUART), which was not explained when I placed my order or after I called and inquired about the small size of the container. However, to replace a dinner size (which I assume is 32oz QUART) with a small HEFTY sandwich container then charge me for the dinner size and when I inquire, tell me it is the correct dinner size when it's not, IS DISINGENUOUS. You should have stated the issue when I ordered then allowed me to change my order or make provisions to serve the correct size on your end, even if it meant preparing 2 small containers or packing & wrapping up the larger container that the noodle dish came in.

Sorry, you do not have my understanding for the disingenuous bait & switch. You have great food but I will not return, even for the noodle dishes at this point. Went from a 3-star review to a 1-star.👎

Easily our new favorite Thai restaurant. The pad thai is just the kind we were looking for, and they are consistent with the spice level. Mild is perfect for me, subtly spicy but not overwhelming. The crispy spring rolls were good as well. Service was very fast and the food was piping hot, even after bringing it home and letting it sit for little while.

One of the best Thai places in the Metro Detroit area. The food has amazing flavor and is affordably priced. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is always very clean. First time trying out this restaurant. I found out that they sell sticky rice and chicken. Which not a lot of Thai restaurant sell. So I was really happy to be able to try it out. Everything was made fresh and hot. Super happy with quality and will definitely come back again!

First time ordering from this restaurant and it was good. I ordered the pork belly with sticky rice, chicken fried rice, nab vam & Thai tea. My kids love the fried rice and nab vam (tapioca dessert drink). I will be ordering more in the future. I definitely recommend people to try this place if they haven't already.

I decided to give this place a try and I’m glad I did! I got their Chicken Thai Curry, really good flavors and enough for left overs. I tried a spring roll as well, also tasty. Lastly, I added on Thai tea! YUM!! I will be back 🙂
