Discover the authentic flavor of Halal Thai cuisine. Our local celebrity chef Ismail not only serving Thai Dishes, but he is also featuring some of his best dishes at My Thai Halal Kitchen.
This place was so amazing! The food, the setting, the service was just so good! I’m not from Detroit and was just visiting with my family and wanted to have some halal food that we never eat. We saw this restaurant and saw how to food looks and went immediately and we were not disappointed! The staff was very nice and polite and our food came quickly. The flavours were amazing! I would love to go back soon.
Halal resto! Service and atmosphere are great! The lady (cashier) is friendly.
We tried rice noodle (wide) -- a bit uncooked, taste is OK. Spicy chicken is great! But, I warn you it is spicy! Calamari appetizer is plentiful -- but slightly overcooked.
Overall: nice experience!
Ok I’m so so mad at myself that I’ve waited this long to try this place out!! Finally ordered some drunken noodles with chicken and shrimp, medium spice and my taste buds are going crazy! Very flavorful, the chicken cooked just right and not dry. I have a feeling I’ll be ordering from here a couple times a week at least! Highly recommend!
*Only took one quick picture because I was too focused on how delicious the food tasted.
We got take from there. I was so excited for the food after looking at the pictures and reviews. I got n3 drunken noodle, orange chicken, k3 kow pad gra prow, and s7 ny style chicken and rice platter. I am disappointed because the food was not like the pictures there were no veggies in the noodle or the kow pad gra prow. Everything tasted horrible. However the service was good and the workers were really nice. I wouldn’t recommend this place though…
Halal Thai Spot**
If you're in Michigan and looking for the best Halal Thai food, look no further than **My Thai**. Nestled in the heart of town, this restaurant delivers an unforgettable culinary experience that marries authentic Thai flavors with Halal-certified dishes. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, My Thai is a must-visit.
We had the pleasure of trying a variety of their dishes, and each one was a hit. The **Pad Thai noodles** were perfectly cooked, with a wonderful balance of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors. The stir-fried noodles came with a generous portion of protein options and a rich peanut sauce that tied the dish together.
Their **fried rice** was fluffy, aromatic, and full of vibrant ingredients, while the **Thai curry** had a creamy, mildly spiced sauce that was packed with fresh herbs and bold flavors. If you’re a fan of curry, this dish is an absolute must-try. We also sampled their **soup**, which was flavorful and comforting—an ideal starter to warm you up before the main course.
From the impeccable service to the authentic and delicious dishes, **My Thai** truly stands out as a top destination for Halal Thai cuisine. With its wide range of flavorful offerings, it's no wonder why this restaurant has earned a 10/10 in my book. Whether you’re a fan of Thai food or looking to try something new, you won’t be disappointed.

The sauce's and the quality of meat was good. I did an Uber eats order and my biggest issue was there was barely any substance in the curry dish and pad cashew. The container were less than half filled and they were $16+ each. I there was barely any veggies in our food. Typically Thai dishes are loaded with veggies and not just sauce. Not sure if it was just a bad day.
We recently had lunch at My Thai Restaurant and tried a variety of dishes. The standout was the Bangkok seafood combo, which was delicious and flavorful, though it had fewer seafood items than expected. The Pad Thai chicken noodles were also very good, offering a unique and tasty flavor. The Pad Ped beef had an authentic Thai taste that we appreciated.
However, we were disappointed with the rice dishes. Both the My Thai fried rice and chicken fried rice tasted stale, and some of us felt sick after eating them. Additionally, we could smell the burn of the rice. The drunken noodles were average and didn’t meet our expectations this time. Serving food that isn't freshly cooked, especially rice, is a major concern. Freshness should be prioritized to ensure a better dining experience. Even though they didn't provide the spoon with rice and noodles.
Orders are not being fulfilled.Food is paid for but orders are not completed
Food and service are great! The staff super sweet and prices are so reasonable. The curry dishes and drunken noodles are so yummy! Would recommend!
Such an amazing place.. And the food...Wow
The food was delicious and worth the price. Service was timely and the restaurant is clean. Sadie was super helpful with the menu and very attentive to what we needed. She was awesome. 10 out of 10 will be coming again.
The food is delicious and reasonable price. The guy is so friendly. Dining concept little bit confusing, it's like in the middle between fast food and seated restaurant. Waiting time little bit long.
Absolutely delicious food, awesome services and generous portions! And it's halal!? Any time I'm craving thai, this is my new spot!
Food
Excellent!
Food was terrible
This is the absolute worst Thai that I have ever tasted. The rice was dry and overcooked, maybe old. The chicken in it was dry and if I could imagine what cat food tasted like, they nailed it! This was a complete waste of my money. I also had the crab ragoon, which was fried correctly, but had an after taste, so it is defintely not made in house, they are really buying pre-made and selling 6 ragoons for $7.50 on doordash. I did a personal order on door dash and it came up to $27. The Kow pad came in a lunch size serving and should not be $16.99. I will NEVER go back to this establishment and if you do, check your food before you leave!
It was our first time here. The food we ordered was delicious! My husband ordered the lamb gyro and I ordered the seafood curry. Farina and Sadia took care of us and they were very attentive. Will definitely go back here again!
Food was good and the servent name Faria was very nice to us😊
The food was amazing! The egg rolls were so perfectly crispy. Plus, the food was pretty cheap but the proportions were huge! Great service and clean restaurant. Would go agian!
The food is amazing and to die for! We got the garlic chicken 65, the fried rice and the Lao min, everything was delicious. We got served by Farah and Sadia and they were just amazing and very kind. Really recommend the place.
The ambience was great, but the food was the best Thai place I’ve had in years!!! Even better now because it’s halal and I can enjoy my meat with it. The Garlic chicken 65 was definitely my favorite. The basil in the drunken noodles didn’t overpower the rest of the ingredients. You have to try this place. Our waiter was so kind and even gave my niece a free ice cream!
I should’ve listened to the negative reviews. The appetizers were okay, the noodles we got drunken and pad sew were nasty. The only thing I tasted was the overload of sauce. No other flavor.
Fast service , great reception! Stop what you’re doing and try here ! MashAllah
Nice Place.

One of our all time faves. Thanks guys!
Whenever I do uber eats they mess up the entire order.
Great food. Service is fast. Quantity is plentiful. Food is worth the wait and price. I hope they maintain the quality
But the bathrooms are always dirty and also tables and floor is stick. I hope they deep clean the place often.
Food was terrible , the quality was cheap and overpriced .
Good food, friendly service
Solid chicken fried rice

"This is hands down the best spot in town for Thai food, offering a wide variety of dishes that capture authentic flavors. The interior is beautifully designed with a welcoming and stylish atmosphere that makes dining in a true pleasure. Service is quick and attentive, whether you're eating in or grabbing takeout. Highly recommend it – 10/10 experience!"
First, they messed up my order, and on top of that, they showed disrespectful behavior toward customers—such unhelpful employees.
Um. Meat was tough.
Great atmosphere. Wait staff is so nice there and helpful. The food is always so amazing. The garlic chicken was our favorite, worth the visit everytime.
Great food and friendly staff, different take on Asian classic dishes
The food is great! It's fresh, delicious, and astectically appealing! The service is Top tier! I absolutely recommend!
Food is great 👍 staff are very friendly, the dish she was recommended I really enjoyed.
I walked in and then another brother walked behind me. Customer serviced asked both of us dining in or carry out. We said carry out. Then skipped me and asked the person behind me what’s your name on the order, that brother was looking at me and probably wondering he walked in first why she skipped him, and then she couldn’t find his order and asked my name.
While I was paying she asked the person behind me his name again and asked him to show his name on the phone and then she walked to the kitchen. Other sister walked to the register and asked me for help and handed out my food as my food was ready, Alhamdulillah.
This messages for Ismail bhai and Raju bhai for awareness. Alhamdulillah soup was great.
Check the camera for confirmation it’s roughly between 9:20 and 9:45pm on Friday night 10/11.
I like this place but my food was pad Thai it was crunchy so I recommend to make it not crunchy
It was sooo good and the waitress was really kind and the food was the best part and I would really recommend this place
The food is solid but the place smells like sewage at times. Don’t sit near the bathroom. Also their waterfall feature was dripping onto me a little.
We got take from there. I was so excited for the food after looking at the pictures and reviews. Love this place. My go-to spot for Thai food.

Really a very nice place for having a delicious lunch.

Overall: nice experience!
Whenever I go to a Thai restaurant, I usually try their pad thai out to get a baseline of how their other meals may taste, since pad thai is pretty much one of the staples of Thai cuisine. I enjoyed the pad thai here and it was a pretty decent portion size for one individual. Will definitely go back in the future to try out other dishes.
Waited for 10 + mins and food got served. It was delicious. Lady at the front was nice. You should try their drink as well. I can recommend to anyone who like Asian fusion with Thai touch.
Looks very authentic halal. At the entrance, they recognised that we were Muslims so were greeted by 'Salam'. Food quality and quantity was also sufficient, had a nice variety on the menu.
For us, a slightly funny thing happened. 1 girl came to take order, I gave half order to her and then asked for more time. Then another girl came (she looked like the first one with same dressing) so I repeated full order to her. Incidentally they duplicated 1 item and served. When i inquired they mentioned that 2 people took order so it was duplicated but there was no effort to compensate. It was not a big deal as I did not ask for compensation in any case. The staff was very courteous and smiling throughout.
My tofu was hard as a rock and my curry noodles were overcooked and mushy. The nice lady at the register offered to remake it, but I would have to drive all the way back to the restaurant. I politely declined
Food was very fresh, service was fast for fresh food, will be back.
Pad Thai curry is amazing. Ordered the drunken noodle mild and it was pretty spicy. It tasted like a medium.
I ordered take out and it was perfect. They accommodated last minute changes no problem. Very friendly staff, helped with loading it in my car. Really good food, and large portions. I highly recommend this place for catering large dinners. My family especially loved the spring rolls and drunken noodles.
Honestly, this place has potential. If only the portion was matched with the price and the seafood was real not imitation. I don't know if they change the chef or the recipe because I've been here a few times but it's not the same as it used to be. However, don't get me wrong this place does serve some good dishes such as pad pak and wontons are good most importantly it is halal. And their services is great the staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Nice people, good family atmosphere
First of all, I must say the service and the ambiance were great!
Now, the food was alright for most part. But, they were oily. The shrimps in the dishes were rubbery and didn’t taste like shrimps! I, unfortunately didn’t enjoy the food overall. Also, portion size seemed a little bit off.
Otherwise, the food had nice flavour.
Best wishes to MTHK.
I had lunch here with a couple of colleagues on 7/23/2024, and it was by far my best Thai food experience.
Generous portions, amazing flavors and quite the service.
Keep it up, guys. I will certainly be back.
The best Thai food I've had in a long time!! I had the Lo Mein, my husband had the Pad Thai, it was delicious!
Food quality not good and prices are too expensive
Honestly the best thai food i’ve ever had! It’s a long drive from our home but my husband and i think it deserves every minute.
We got milk boba tea- the drink part of it tastes pretty nice. However, the tapioca pearls were horrible.. it feels like eating mud and isn’t chewy like most, the tapioca also had a bitter bad flavor.
I ordered four dishes great food love the desi platter and tumtum soup
Absolutely loved this place! We came in the last 30 minutes before closing and they did not make us feel bad or rushed! We ate quickly to not inconvenience them, but most restaurants would remind you they are closing with attitude.
I absolutely loved the food, the pad Thai, Shrimp fried rice and the Calamari was amazing but for some there is fruit flies all over the place. Could not eat peacefully without flies flying to my food .
My new favorite place!! Food is 100/10 great service and atmosphere and great hours…definitely coming back
This was a great quiet place, it is also good for quick eats, the place is wheelchair accessible and has a calm environment, the food reaches fast, 10-25 min, the floors are super clean and the food is amazing, I would go here again and again, the food was spicy, but they boycott brands like coke and use local instead, the service was very quick, I loved this, the menu had kids menu and a great amount of options, I would recommend you to go here
Visited this place time to time and had good experience every time.
Ate here for lunch. Wanted to love it however, the meal fell short.
TomYum soup was basically flavored broth. Hardly any meat or vegetables.
Entree was way too oily.
Service was exceptional.
Restaurant was nice and fairly clean.
Unfortunately I do not think I would revisit.
I love this restaurant
drunken noodles never disappoint!
Menu had many choices and food was very good
Went in thinking it wouldn’t be good since it’s a mix of halal and Thai but was proven wrong. Loved everything I got here.
I can not describe how delicious and clean their food is. Highly recommended. The staff is very nice and professional.
Everything about this restaurant is amazing. 10 out of 10
The food here is really good. This is most likely my favorite Thai kind of restaurant. The service is great and the food is really good. If you were to order I recommend to get the Orange Chicken, also the Pad Thai Curry, and also get some fried rice. The customer service is really great and got my food quickly.
Inadequate portion of protein , Indian style cooking and spice level. 18% service charge automatically as they perhaps know food and service won’t qualify for a gratuity.
Today I tried second time to give another chance and unfortunately the lunch experience was disappointing.
Pad Thai was somehow oily and too much saucy. The chicken quantity was extremely low. Menu says lunch comes with soup and roll but server stated that’s old menu (yet price remain same)
This is a good spot for Thai restaurant and being Halal could be advantageous. However the 5 star review here, confused me as per my two visits and feedback from friends.
Just halal meat won’t qualify you for good business. Be generous or at least standard portion of protein should be given. Fix your chef and get a Thai chef or trained as Thai not Indian.
Improve your food and service which would bring you 20%+ tips anyway.
Update: I gave them another try and completely disappointed again. Just becuase of being Halal, some people would continue but they are in a great location so could have done a lot more business if quality was prioritized.
Wanted to check out a new Thai food place by 15 and Ryan and this place is a solid option. Ordered a basic chicken pad Thai and it was decent in taste and quality for 13$ nothing out of this world, but not bad some more sauce on the pad Thai may have improved it drastically. Staff were nice and the restaurant itself is spacious to eat inside.
Quality: 7/10
VALUE: 7.5/10
STAFF:9/10
ATMOSPHERE: 8.5/10
Will check it out again in the future! Worth a visit if you are craving Thai food!
The energy, the culture, the love comes to fruition one bite at a time. Amazing place.
Got to be careful with grub hub. Though I don’t blame them they are so good at the food they do that they are super popular and busy! Food is mind blowing. If you love spice they know their spice. If u are a softy to spice make sure to choose no spice to test out the level for the first time!
It’s okay. There are much better Thai food around the area but this place gets a lot of hype because it’s halal and that’s it.
Their fried rice is good but other dishes aren’t that good. Dine in area is kind of crammed and small. The men bathroom was out of order. The waitress didn’t really have good customer service and wasn’t really checking up on us. We asked for Coke and she brought Faygo Cola…what? I understand your boycotting certain brands because of the war that’s going on but not having Coke or telling us you guys don’t have Coke should be common sense. We asked for water and it literally tasted like toilet water. It was super nasty.
Overall it’s okay. Nothing special. Just a lot of hype because it’s halal and that’s it. Won’t eat here again.
a hidden gem. A nice small restaurant serving halaal thai/chinese food. friendly stuff. ordered the chefs special of chicken 65 and the orange chicken and along with Tom yum soup. Have to say the portion was good for 2 infact it could have fed 3. very reasonable and affordable pricing. Our server was amazing. A nice young girl always had a smile. keep up the great work as I will be visiting that place more often
MEAT IS NOT ZABIHA HALAL!!!!!
It was very disappointing that on their menu card it says meat is 100% zabiha halal but when we asked at the counter the lady said the supplier is Saad which is the largest supplier of meat to restaurants but their chicken is not Zabiha halal. They should not print that statement on menu card to make people fool.
The food was incredibly delicious 😋
Very good place for hangout. Really like their Mango boba. Amazing
Soooo delicious.
The food was absolutely amazing! So delicious, and tasty! The service was incredible, thank you Joyece for taking care of us!!
A place that cares about their customers, Great customer service, fresh food, take you family there. Won’t regret. Must Try their my thai special mixed fried rice, bangkok chicken
Wow this place is amazing it’s the best Thai place I’ve had here in Michigan it’s crazy these Bengali’s are killing it the food is amazing the ppl are friendly and the restaurant is very nice and modern 5 STARS for this place definitely my new spot hope they open more locations and expand.
I had drunken noodles and it was decent.
Ordered food at night and they keep increasing the time for DoorDash. Wanted to call the restaurant but it seems like they disconnected their phone lines to prevent orders from coming in 🤷🏻♀️
Vegans beware. The menu has several items labeled as vegan. I’ve eaten here several times over the past year and each time I’ve asked if the dish I was ordering was vegan, I was assured it could be prepared vegan. On my most recent dining experience at the restaurant, I tried to order vegan red curry. It is clearly labeled as a vegan item on the menu. I spoke with my server and she told me none of the curry dishes could be prepared vegan. The server confirmed this with the cooks and I found out none of the curry dishes can be made without fish sauce. It’s false advertising and just flat out unethical to label menu items as vegan. Never returning. Oh, I will be reporting this as well.
Great food!! Made to order! Employees are super nice!
Someone recommended a nearby restaurant and I saw this on the map. So happy I stopped. I don't live nearby otherwise I'd be here often.
Had the drunken noodles with beef, no spice level and easy eggs. Was amazing. Not kidding. Best I've tasted. The beef tastes like real beef or steak slices and is not overly soft or chewy like some places.
The atmosphere was so relaxing. Only was sad to see that on a Wednesday at 6:15 pm restaurant was empty. With this quality and halal meat (humanely treated and nurtured in clean, healthy environments) it should be packed.
Really good Thai food. One of the best fried rice!
The food was amazing.
One of the best fried rice I have ever ate.
Let me tell you about this amazing place called "My Thai" From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, ranging from classic comfort food to innovative culinary creations. The service is impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a foodie looking for unique flavors or simply craving a delicious meal, "My Thai " is definitely a must-visit spot.
Straight 🔥
One of the best Thai food I have ever experienced in this restaurant. I really enjoyed their dishes. Specially the chicken wings and the vegetables rolls.
Best food ever
Food was amazing Service was great would recommend to everyone
I grew up eating Thai Food so I would know exactly what it taste like.
Thai food from this place is NOT real Thai food. Sorry, but I'm never gonna buy from here again.
Responding to the owner below me.
It is disappointing to observe how this particular restaurant seems to believe that the world revolves around them. The fact that they would assume my status as a past employee speaks volumes about their character and the way they operate. Unfortunately, their food does not live up to expectations either. The quality and taste of their dishes leave much to be desired. Moreover, their attitude towards customers is equally unsatisfactory. It is disheartening to witness the lack of professionalism and respect displayed by the owner of this establishment.
As a pregnant woman, I was looking forward to fulfilling my thai food craving. This place looked pretty good from the reviews, but I was very disappointed to find that they were closed upon my arrival. I suggest updating these times if they are not already, as i find that to be very misleading and unprofessional. I tried calling around 930pm to hopefully place an order and no answer. I pulled up about half hour later roughly 10pm and find that they were closed. From a local, hungry and disappointed mother-to-be to you, have a very Happy Ramadan.
Food is A 1 service is a1 chef Ismail orange chicken is the bomb
Food was overall great, service was fine but it took about 45 minutes to get my food. To be fair, I did order during the lunch rush
You can’t go wrong with anything!!!
My Thai Kitchen is a great spot if you want late night Thai. Got out of work super late and all the other Thai restaurants around were closed, My Thai was open till 11.
Ordered chicken pad Thai with medium spice and spring rolls. All the food was extremely tasty and flavored well. The Pad Thai was actually a little hotter than medium which was great, I enjoy spicier foods.
My only complaint if you can even call it that, is the noodles of the Pad Thai were a little undercooked / chewy. It wasn’t a big deal though.
I’m glad to have found another late night spot that isn’t McDonalds.
One of the good restaurants around every time I go to Michigan I go to this restaurant. The staff are very friendly. The food is good priced. Great environment.
They give you a lot of rice but could be seasoned better, which would compliment the mild level. Had the Kow Pad. The Spring Rolls were great. Very sparing with sauce on side.
We were in the area from Columbus OH and always love coming to My Thai. The food is amazing, huge portion sizes, and great pricing! Highly recommend the coconut milk cake for dessert.
Had dinner at this restaurant recently. Our sever, Salma, was friendly and explained the menu items clearly. The food was delicious and the portion size was large. Overall we had a great experience.
Food taste is so bad and they cold food which is not good. We are paying our bill why you guys do that with customers omg very disappointed. We just waste our money for no reason.
Delicious food! I got the orange chicken, satay, and wings. Everything was above and beyond including service. Ismail is a great owner and gave us some free kulfi ice cream for dessert😋
Excellent food overall
Food was delicious and flavorful, service from Salma was great. 10/10 experience, will be returning!
They should improve their customer service.
We went here about a couple weeks ago since we weren’t finding anything open at almost 11pm. Let me tell you, the food is awful. forget about quality, the taste is horrible. we have never eaten such awful food in any restaurants. The wings/chicken fries are the worst. How can someone make such bad wings soaked in just salt and oil I have no idea!! My kids felt like throwing up whole night after they go home. We couldn’t finish more than half of our food so took it in boxes. I thought maybe we can eat when we are a little more hungry but I had to throw away everything when I get home because everybody was feeling awful after having whatever little amount they had. No complain on service but They need to hire an actual chef who knows how to cook the bare minimum.
I returned to this restaurant and the food quality has decreased!
Definitely not Thai anymore. Pretty sure the chef changed and I see no one of actual Thai representation.
The service was friendly, the atmosphere is still very nice.
But the point is food.
Will no longer be coming here, very dissatisfied with the direction this restaurant has chosen to go.
Red curry was amazing. Some of the best Thai food I've had in a while
Food is so delicious!!Salma was very friendly and service was 10/10!!
Food was great but Tables should be more bigger
