Additionally, there wasn't a kids' menu available, which could be a drawback for families with young children. Overall, while the service was great, the restaurant didn’t quite meet our expectations in terms of food offerings.

If you want good tip please do good service and you’ll automatically get it, don’t just throw food at customers and expect high tips. On top of that, you need to earn it with your services, food , don’t just demand it (tip). I’ve seen this happened to my friend when we were in this restaurant. Use to be very good, looks like they became greedy. Will you just give away money just like that? I don’t think so. Most of us visit there to have good food, service not just to give you tip. Hope management take some action against these kind of things.

Honestly, BIG portion and FAST SERVICE! You could never get that big portions anywhere else beside here. American food 1 burger and 5 pieces of fries cost you $20, here $15 for dinner and still leftover for lunch. Service are A1, servers are fast and everything is quick. I overheard this one lady yelling at one of the server because she told the server the wrong dish and now she’s mad. How embarrassing lol sad to see some people treats other people who works in a restaurant . Could never be me sis.

we looked up on Google the nearest Thai restaurants to us and there It was , Bangkok cuisine , I went there with friends and family , it wasn't too crowded we wanted to try their pad thai ,I loved the decorations , their service , very friendly and fast. the food was great too , although could be a bit cleaner when it comes to serving their dishes . Thai food turned out to be pretty yummy .

We have been to this restaurant many times but never had this bitter experience before. We ordered Pad Thai with no meat and mentioned eggs are ok. But the waitress never asked about veggies in particular and it was assumed that if we say no meat it means no veggies as well. What the heck?? When we tried to ask the waitress she is not ready to respond politely instead kept saying "you said no meat so no veggies." The waitress called the manager to talk and she repeats the same non-sense. Where in the world does no meat means no veggies? Overall a very rude behavior and we had to compromise on our veggies and just had to eat the plain noodles instead.
I would suggest the waitresses here to learn to take orders first by asking a couple extra questions/options which is necessary!

Honestly been eating here for 10+ years and the Pad See Ew is always great. If you’re looking for thai near Sterling Heights/Troy this is the spot. Staff are kind as well :)

I placed a carry out order when I arrived to the restaurant I asked if I could eat my food in the dining area I was denied. The workers told me to eat my food in my car. I would never patronize this unprofessional rude establishment.

The Thai food was amazing. I got the cow pad. I would say this is the best Thai food place that I've ever had. The atmosphere was decent, but service was quick and efficient. Very friendly staff as well.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was terrible—lacking flavor and poorly prepared. I brought my concerns to the waitress, but she didn’t seem interested in addressing them or making any effort to improve the situation for future visits. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and I won’t be returning.

I visited with my friends for lunch. I ordered pineapple fried rice. It came out pretty quick, but smelled burnt. Fortunately taste was not that bad. However, the worst was at the counter when I was paying. The woman at the counter, she was saying something when I was giving the bill. But I couldn’t hear what she said. Her voice was not clear and it was pretty crowded. Then she tried to process the total cost as one bill, so I asked we would do it separately(actually we were already asked we were paying separately or not when we ordered our lunch.) Then she said with very annoyed voice and face “so I asked how you want to pay, one bill or separately?”. At the moment, I didn’t want to make any serious trouble so I just payed and left but I don’t understand why I got that kind of ridiculous reaction from her. I don’t know she is the owner or an employee, but she has terrible manner and not suitable for any service job like restaurant.

Can't speak for anyone else, but 5 stars based on my one takeout experience. The flavor was AMAZING, especially the sweet and sour sauce. My go-to for Thai is curry-fried rice, because I can always get at least two meals out of it. These portions did not disappoint. Some reviews said the spice control is hit and miss. I can see that, my "mild" was a full-throated "medium." But they don't even have that option in Thailand, so stop complaining. Definitely coming back again.

This place was very clean, very friendly and the food was great. I just had a lunch portion of Pad Thai and I was blown away by the size and the price. The staff was super friendly and attentive, they had my food ready and out to me in no time at all. I would definitely recommend.

This was very good!! I was in heaven!! Good spices!! Pineapple so good!! My was different that the people I came w. Theirs had the rice and I had the noodles. I just dropped the sauce all over my plate!! Spring rolls were very good nice time I gonna get the Tom Yum soup!! We all shared dishes!! Prolly just gonna do that the entire time!! Will be back very soon!! I love Thai food!! Thai sauce is great as well!! I love spices as well!! The waitress was excellent!! Cooks were awesome!! Great family!!

When placing the order over the phone the lady was rude ! Since it was an order for more than one person she got annoyed when I asked her how much something was. The appetizer sampler was good. The fresh roll had maybe one piece of chicken and all lettuce. I Used to order from here alot but after the rude customer service I experienced I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Best Thai around IMO great place

Not sure why but this Bangkok has the best food and service. When dining in they give you free soup before your meal and bring out a huge bowl of rice. Overall this is my favorite location.

Amazing spot for lunch

I've been a customer since this restaurant was a tiny place in a strip mall. Their sauces are the best and richest Thai flavors I've had this side of Bangkok itself. Drunken noodles, pad almond, and pad taray are my favorites.

OMG THEY HAVE MANGO WITH STICKY RICE NOW!( Seasonal ONLY) which is understandable! I ordered on DoorDash $10 but if you call in it’s $8 which is understandable since everything on DoorDash is more expensive. I asked for extra sesame seed! It was so good I love it! Definitely will order more before mango season gone!

Will never order from here again! They barely gave me any chicken in my Pra ram Long Song. So I called up to the restaurant and talked to the manager and she told me that they gave me a decent amount of chicken because they use a scoop. So in essence, she was calling me a liar, because their policy is to put a scoop of chicken in the dish. Never mind the fact that my food was basically a big puddle of sauce with a lot of broccoli and next to no chicken so she offered me 10% off next time I go there. I’m sorry but when you ignore your customers when they tell you they got something wrong you aren’t going to stay in business very long. Did she think that I would be OK with getting 10% off of a meal that I didn’t even get 30% of the chicken I should’ve got. I’m never going there again because of that attitude that she had towards me. That’s the worst customer service I’ve had in years. 10 months ago I had a great experience there and yesterday I had a terrible experience. I’m not sure what changed but this place is no good now.

Look, I don't normally leave reviews this low, but I will never go back to this Thai restaurant again. The problem I have is, they don't throw away leftover food like they should. You could find yourself eating someone else's leftovers.
How do I know?
It all started with a small basket of fish chips. I ate two, and they tasted perfectly fine, but the next one was as hard as a rock. If they're throwing away the fish chips like they should be, then all the fish chips that I was eating should have tasted fresh. Some were stale, fresh, and others were as hard as rock. Now, if they're not throwing away fish chips like they should, what makes you think that their food is actually fresh? I literally felt like I was eating other people's leftovers.

Disgusting...

As I was walking, and I was NOT greeted by anyone, and when the lady at the front approached me, she said, what do you want, and as I was trying to place the order she KEPT rolling her eyes and smacking her lips. I proceeded to get a menu, she slid it over to me as if she doesn’t want me to touch her hand,& then uttered something in her language while getting the menu . once I sat down another lady who happened to be black came in to pick up a door dash and she immediately rolled her eyes and discuss and smacked her lips . I believe this place is racist against our colored people. Do not spend your money here! Service is horrible . A white guy walked in after me and he was greeted by a lady in the kitchen as well as lady at the front counter. I am no racist I see NO COLOR my entire family looks like a rainbow! This has to STOP

Absolutely terrible service. I ordered on DoorDash and my order was completely wrong. I then drove up there to have it correct and I was met with hate speech, rude remarks, and accusations. The manager Xang was so rude and told me she was not going to fix or honor any previous credits given to me for my incorrect order. She accused me of lying about my order. Please never give a business so rude and racist your money!

One of our top two favorite Thai restaurants in the area. They do the basics really well here! Very good flavored PAD Thai and the Bancock Chicken was awesome! Tge PAD Thai was the best I have had around here. I was blown away by the Bancock chicken for something different, and I don't even like chicken! 🤣😂🤣

The dining room was so cold and the hot and sour soup was bland. But everything else was amazing, very tasty sauces and good size portions.

We have visited bank cuisine for 30 years. Food is always excellent in plentiful. Fast service. Very reasonable.

Second time here, and second time we had issues with the waitress. This should never be a problem.
1st off, restaurant was freezing cold and actually made my food cold, bathroom had piles of "stuff" in the hallway which is probably a fire Hazzard, washing my hands was painful with icy cold water, there was no way I would even consider using the toilet. This was not a good start.

When waitress brought out soup, she didn't bother to check back in with us, as I wanted to change my soup. I had no idea I was getting a spicy soup, wouldhavebeengreat to know since Iordered no spice in my dinner order. The table next to use was getting fabulous service as it was a group of 4 police officers. No problem, but the waitress would not even make eye contact with us and after bringing their table water refills, she walked right past so I said loudly "water?" because she was walking away and blatantly ignored us until I said something.

My order was almond chicken no mushrooms. She brought out our food plates without the rice and said nothing. as I was getting ready to go to the front counter, she came back with the rice. My order had mushrooms so I sent it back and sat there for 10 minutes eating plain rice while they remade mine. Again the restaurant was so cold that my rice was actually getting cold on my plate. My second order ALSO had mushrooms in it so I just decided to pick them out which was difficult due to the heavy sauce. I wasn't going to wait another 10 minutes for my food, while my friend was done eating.

I typically gather up my plates at the table for the waitress, to help with clean up but this was not going to happen today. I had my arm in a sling, would have been nice for her to at least offer to package up my food for me.

When we walked up to pay the bill which was about $30, the lady at the register had the audacity to ask me if I left a tip at the table so I replied yes, because I am not arguing with people, her tip was nothing and that's what was at the table. How incredibly rude and did they really think I was going to tip for them messing up my order and ignoring us? Who does that? This is the first time in YEARS I have not left a tip. The comment from the lady at the counter, seems to indicate this happens alot.

I understand some things are unavoidable and out of the waitress control. but to be completely honest, she barely tried and was a seasoned waitress, not new. The restaurant was not even packed with people.

Some people go out to eat, because they want the service and not the hassle (ie, arm in sling). This was the worst I have had in a long, long time.

Had the Pad Prik. Very flavorful, spice level was perfect (I ordered hot, it delivered). Service was prompt and friendly. I will eat here again.

Edit 9/29/2023: So I think they recently changed their Masaman Curry recipe. Used to have more peanuts, onions and coconut milk, and the potatoes used to be sliced, and shaped like ruffles potato chips, if that makes sense. But now there are far fewer onions, peanuts, and coconut milk, and the potatoes are large chunks rather than slices. Also the flavoring is just different. I can't exactly put my finger on it.
Anyway, dropping a star because that used to be my favorite fish and now it's been changed and isn't nearly as good, in my opinion.

We went here for a group lunch today and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here. They start you off with a house soup which is very tasty and just a tiny bit spicy. I ordered the Kow Soi (medium) off the Sandys favorites section. It was delicious!! Spice level was perfect for me.. a little kick but not painful. Perfect thin noodles in a curry broth with chicken and tofu. Lunch was $10 plus tip $12.50 total. I will definitely be back.

$50 for 3 orders of noodles and rice, and 6 peice crab wanggoon! Unreal with the prices !

Food is good IF you don’t care what spice level you get. I have ordered several times now, and while food and portion size are good, the spice level always seems to be completely random. I have ordered mediums that tasted like no-spice, a hot that tasted like what a mild should be, and milds so hot that there were moments where I considered giving up. Not a huge deal if you are open to spice level, but could be a deal breaker if you care. Sign says no refunds due to spice level.

Best Thai food in Michigan. I eat here once a week at least. Great service. Every dish they offer is a 10/10.

Food is decent no doubt. Service is ok although the middle aged lady is not professional. But the main reason for only 2 stars is the fact that they will not let the guest leave until tip is paid.
A better alternative is my thai kitchen on 15 Mike road (just a mile down north). The food and service is better and they will not extort for tip (and they do deserve tip there for the excellent service)

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Bangkok Cuisine and while the experience was pleasant, I must say that the food was just okay. While the restaurant had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, the food was lacking in flavor and authenticity.

I tried the pad Thai which was okay, but it didn't stand out as anything special. It lacked the authentic Thai flavors and spices that I was expecting, and the overall taste was quite bland. While it was still edible, it was not what I was hoping for in terms of taste and quality.

The rest of the menu was also underwhelming. The crispy spring rolls were dry and lacked any discernible flavor, and the curries lacked depth and complexity. It was clear that the restaurant was trying to cater to a more western palate, but it came at the expense of authentic Thai flavors and tastes.

Overall, while the dining experience at Bangkok Cuisine was pleasant, the food was just okay. If you're looking for a quick bite or are in the area, it might be worth a try, but if you're looking for truly authentic Thai cuisine, there are better options available.

I placed a take out order from Bangkok today after having a craving for Thai food for a while. I was excited to finally have the opportunity to just splurge on take out.
Boy was I really disappointed!
I ordered 6 Crispy Rolls, Pad thai curry, and chicken fried rice.
2 out of the 6 crispy rolls were rock solid!!! Not eatable at all! They would break your teeth hard! The fried rice, although flavorful, the rice itself was definitely dry. I called to let them know, and they made it seem as though I was lying. Stating that they served a table and theirs were perfectly fine. I even asked if they wanted me to put them in a zip lock and show it to them. Unbelievable. They mentioned they would credit me for those 2 rolls only if I wanted to come back but at this point I was just like no.
Sadly, I'm going to have to find me a new Thai restaurant in the area.

Very dishonest business. They mess up on orders, issue credit notes and then do not honor the credit notes. The manager (in gray top) used used f-words on us just for asking them to honor the credit note. I have never seen any restaurant staff that behaves in this manner, and insults customers.

By far the BEST Thai in Michigan! My first visit to Bangkok Cuisine was in 1987!!! My intro to Thai Food at 7 years old and I was hooked. My favorite dishes are the vegetable curry, drunken noodle and the nong tong appetizer. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Got order way wrong and was unwilling to fix it or make it right...bummer because I usually go to their sister store in Rochester where I've had most excellent food and service, and assumed they would provide the same quality, but although they have similar menus, the owners/workers and cooking styles are completely different. Was a shame to be showing my new partner Thai food from "the best Thai place" and got what tasted like completely over cooked moosh noodles and garbage scraps for the veggies we paid extra to add, and absolutely no Thai seasoning added when we ordered mild PLUS and medium

So disappointed! They used to have THE BEST apple salad in Michigan! Haven't been there in about 4 years and made a special trip, just to get my fave!
Now salad is more expensive (expected) and 1/2 the size. Not enough dressing, a LOT less chicken and coconut (you can barely taste it). There's either new owners or chefs, because I've never been disappointed before. With any dish I ordered.
So sad all our old faves are going downhill! 😩

I've been ordering from both locations Bangkok Cuisine for the past 14 years and I referred so many family friends and colleagues from work to go and try their good food. Well that stops today from now on I will never eat there. My Son said can we dine there instead of TO-GO. I asked for lunch and the waitress said no sorry Saturday and Sunday Dinner size only I was cool I agreed knowing there is no way I could eat all that food.... Time to leave asked her for couple of boxes she brings me a tiny box I asked her for the plastic one they usually give it to go for the Bangkok chicken she came back with the wrong box again then she finally brought the right box. As I'm placing my food in the box.A rude manager with the glasses came shouting we can't give you the plastic box it's only for TO-GO next time you dine in we won't give you that Box. So this lousy manager made a seen in front of other customers because of some cheap plastic box. 🤔 I will never give them my business again not to mention they screwed my orders many times before. This is the 10th closest Thai restaurant to me so I guess its time to try something different, very disappointed, restaurant was empty , cashier was more interested in take out than customer service

I usually order fro this restaurant and have always enjoyed the food. Was in the mood for Pad Thai tonight, so order through Door Dash. Order was completed in a very timely manner. My only complaint is the noodles were over done. Though the taste was good, the noodles were mushy. Disappointing since I will reheat leftovers tomorrow.

BY FAR THE WORST THAI FOOD I’VE EVER TASTED!!!!!! Ordered pad that and the noodle were over cooked/mushy and there was absolutely NO flavor/seasoning.. The pad ped was very bland, but tolerable.. $28 down the drain!!! (FYI: this is my first time ever leaving a review, but I had to the the city of Sterling Heights know how disgusting this restaurant is)

So today we went to this place and they had no ice no drinks and nothing the only thing they had is hot water and I got poisoned.

Disgusting food and ridiculous prices, would not recommend and will not be back.

Best Thai around. Great portion sizes. Excellent flavor. Spice level is good and consistent. Dine in experience is always welcoming and service is great. I travel just to enjoy this place.

Took friend for birthday. Food was good and service was excellent. Close to 5 stars but I ordered hot and it wasn't very hot. My other place uses fresh chili peppers when I order Thai hot which would get them 5 stars if they did so.

This is now our go to Thai restaurant. We have not been let down with any selection. All the staff is extremely courteous.

Good prices and portion sizes - service is very efficiency oriented. I recommend not eating all of it and taking some of it home - otherwise you will have a really bad time afterwards.
Only one tray of crab chips because of chips shortage made me giggle.

I've been coming here for 20 years. It was convenient for me when I worked in the area. Despite the fact that I now work in a different city, I continue to return for the excellent food and service.

Kow Ped is pretty good. Pad Thai is bit on the sweet side.

Very good my favorite thia food restaurant and the phy thia was super good and the soup was amazing and the chrispy rolls are really delicious.

Pad Prik (dinner size, medium heat) was big enough to bring home 3-4 additional meals. It's brown sauce was smooth & silky. I enjoyed the Thai salad with the Satay sauce dressing (not overly thick, thank goodness.) My favorite sauce here for almost twenty years is a clear hot & sour with crushed peanuts on top, which came with Spring Roll. This time we had the fried Tofu small triangles with Nam Jim Po Piah (the clear sauce mentioned from an earlier review.)

Forgot to mention our smiling, helpful waitress, Zang.

This is the first time I am giving one star for any reviews. I wish there was something negative stars too, I would have given that. I went there during lunch for takeout and had the worst worst experience ever. The lady in the register was the rudest person I have ever encountered. I wish i could have record her behavior with us. In one of the review someone posted her picture too.Food was below average.

Horrible customer service! I placed an order and three minutes after I called back the place to change my order because I accidentally ordered the wrong food. They said they can’t change my order because all of the food was cooked. Ridiculous! They told me that during the three minutes after I called back that they cooked all of my food that I ordered. The manager of the place has one of the worst attitudes I have ever heard in my life. Any other place would have changed it without a problem.

We got medium and medium plus and oh my god was it so unbearable I think maybe they made it too hot on mistake

Food is good.
