Old-school eatery supplying familiar Thai dishes, from curries to pad Thai, plus lunch specials.
The “h” in Thai of Austell might be silent, but the flavors? Absolutely not! This spot is a hidden gem for authentic Thai cuisine, and let me tell you—their coconut soup makes me extremely happy. So happy, in fact, that I devoured it before I even thought about taking a picture. (Trust me, you’ll understand once you try it.)
As a vegetarian and someone who’s lactose intolerant, I opted for coconut milk in my chai tea instead of heavy cream. While it did coagulate a bit, the flavor was still on point—a warm, comforting pairing.
The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, making it great for a quick bite or a casual lunch meeting. And if dining in isn’t your thing, their food holds up beautifully for takeout and delivery (shoutout to my many satisfying DoorDash orders).
Bottom line: The food is so good, I forgot to take pictures. If That’s the only evidence you need—go taste it for yourself!
Their Thai food is so delicious!!! I try the Tom Kha Gai soup at every Thai restaurant I visit, and I can honestly say this one was the best I’ve had! It was the perfect blend of sweet, savory, and sour. I also tried a few bites of my companions’ dishes and they were also delicious. The cashew nut stir fry with chicken was perfectly seasoned, and the pad Thai was classically delicious. I hope to come back if I visit Georgia again!
This cozy restaurant in Austell is a hidden gem. I tried the spicy fried rice with chicken, and it was delicious. My mom, a regular here, always gets the veggie fried rice. My daughter opted for the plain chicken wings, which I didn't find particularly impressive, but she enjoyed them. I'll definitely be coming back.
Eh. I eat a lot of Thai food and its hard to go wrong. the takeout items I got here were subpar. Coconut soup was overly sweetened. Tofu massaman curry seemed to be entirely tofu. Maybe 3 pieces of sweet potato and one piece of avocado on top. No cashews and not a lot of sauce in ratio to the tofu. Needless to say not thrilled that I spent $40 here
The staff were very friendly. I would have rated them a 5 in that area if I didn't wait almost 40 minutes for salad, steamed white rice and sauteed vegetables. The restaurant was small but very clean in the dining area and all.the guests appeared to enjoy themselves. My food was tasty but the portions for my entree were smaller than most takeout restaurants. The Thai salad was regular size and very good.

This is place is ridiculously overpriced, and not worth any penny of it. I order pick up to - go the other night, the spicy seafood salad was so small, not many of seafood in the box, and it was charged $20. Totally not worth it this place. Never come back.
I’m still here with my family and the food is and was so amazinggggg! This place has a homie feel to it and the service was even better. Working hard and being able to come out to eat you want the money you spend to be worth it. I gave my waitress a hug because my Lord she was absolutely sweet. It was so worth it. Come… come with family friends or even a lovely date night and enjoy.
We have been coming here for years, but the last few visits have been pretty bad. I took a chance hoping things had improved. The food is not good anymore. We always order the chicken pad Thai. It was extremely bland, no flavor and it had a weird smell. $30.00 wasted, I’m not going back.
The food is DELICIOUS! But the portions are tiny and outrageously expensive!
They have been consistently great for 20+ years!!
Food is very good and staff is very friendly. Massaman is my fave and my kids love the pineapple fried rice.
I was on 285, 30 minutes away I called and hung up because it was 9:29 pm I didn’t think they would take the order because of the time they called me back! When I told them I was on the highway and would not get there until 10pm they took my order and waited for us I got there at 10 the food was hot and delicious.
My dau took me to this place for dinner, it was really good! We had 3 different dishes with noodles & rice & they all were good, sorry should have taken pics but according to my dau, everything on the menu is tasty. We dined in & the experience was very nice.
Great food, great service, and just a wonderful experience for my family. After moving outside of Atlanta and largely away from good restaurants, it was wonderful to find a great Thai restaurant west of the city. I greatly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a Thai fix!
Order $60 worth of food and the rice was undercooked and hard
Friendly service and delicious food. Love the masaman curry!!
My favorite Thai restaurant ever!!! The pad Thai is delicious! I've never had anything that I didn't like. Jade is an awesome restaurateur! She is attentive and kind! I have been frequenting this restaurant for 20 years! I LOVE IT! ❤️
My first time trying them and I loved it...will be going back

Great 👍
Great little Thai restaurant with a dining area.

Nice little Thai food place. Little pricey for takeout but hits the spot when you get that craving for some Thai food.

Small dine-in, but the food and service are excellent; i will be coming back here.
My family and I love Thai food. This will be another place we will support.
I had the spicy basil rice-delicious & flavorful just like I prefer it to be. The staff was so attentive & responsive.
See u soon.
Best Thai place around West Cobb and simply the friendliest service anywhere! Have been eating here for years.
Food is always hot and delicious. They never fail to satisfy honestly! If you ever get the chance definitely come and try their crispy pad Thai, it’s absolutely to die for!!!
Great service, and yummy food!
The food and service was impeccable!!!
It’s like a vey cafe but a restaurant, I recommend it for people who want to eat in peace
Love their crispy Pad Thai
I absolutely adore Thai of Austell! The service is friendly and prompt, the food is amazing, and the restaurant is delightfully cozy.
This is my go-to Thai food restaurant for the past 14 years since it's near work & I love supporting family businesses. The interior is clean & intimate, prices are reasonable, and the service is great. As for the food…it’s consistently delicious and the spice level can be adjusted for those who love spice without flavor being sacrificed. My favorites are pad won sen with shrimp, shrimp pineapple curry fried rice, spicy basil duck, spicy basil (minced chicken), fried snapper, massaman curry w/shrimp, green curry with salmon, green curry with shrimp, Tom yum soup, pad Thai, spring rolls, and Thai tea!
I see why they don’t have any customers they give you a little bit of food for almost $20 you get a baby plate. First visit will not return.
Orded from here several times. The food is really good and the staff is always pleasant. I've only dined in once, the atmosphere is decent it's just a small eating area. Definitely recommend.
⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ The food here is absolutely DISGUSTING!! This can't be authentic Thai. If you want some real good Thai food, go to Red Elephant (Marietta) or Top Spice. The Food tastes way better and they give you more for your money.
The fry rice is a bit high
But it’s worth every grain!!!!!! I love it
Good service and authentic food (always hot after pick up).
The food isn't that tasty, bland, and unseasoned in my opinion. The portion size of the entrees is good but the prices are too high and don't match.. I do love the Thai tea but the food lacks.
Great food
Great food and service.
Update: Food and service are still awesome. Had the coconut lime soup and a dessert ... Soo good! This is our go-to spot for sure!!
The food is delicious and the service is super friendly. They even accommodated my dietary restrictions for dessert. Can't wait to go back!
I've had better Thai. The pad thai tasted as if it had sugar in the dish.
I haven’t been disappointed yet. I own a dealership down the street which means I run out of things to eat. This place always gives me a wide variety of options depending on what I’m craving. Today I’m trying the red snapper 😋
The prices are too high for the small portion sizes you get!!
So so good! 10/10 recommended. The coffee is delicious too.
Absolutely awesome food and staff. Genuinely, lovely place for sure.
The food and service are great here.
Three thumbs up
The food is amazing!!! It's my number one go to for authentic thai food!
The cuisine is authentic and crazy delicious. Must absolutely try the Thai dumplings and Thai tea. Incredibly friendly service as well.
Love this place, for both dine-in and carry-out. Dining room is kind of small, but perfectly fits a moderate lunch crowd. Love the Thai cheese rolls and the potato puffs, as well as other faves!
The food here is fresh and flavorful. The service was amazing as well, will be back.
I ordered a large soup and an order of spring rolls. On the menu it says “pot” and is priced at $14 but what I got is what you see in the picture. I could get the same order from any restaurant in any state for less than $10 but here it was $22. The food is EXTREMELY OVERPRICED! I will not be back.
Food was exceptional before 2023. The entire office would all order almost every day. Since the owner started coming in more regularly we noticed several changes. Increase in prices for less food, our orders were ALWAYS incorrect despite having the worker repeat the order, and we have witness the owner being rude and standoffish to customers. I’m not sure if there has been a change in chefs as well because the food definitely does not taste the same. We trashed it the last time.
Really enjoyed my experience trying the Red Curry today! Will be back soon. Lucky to find a great Thai place so close.
The food is good and the service was fast.
All the food was ridiculously amazing. Perfect textures, flavors, and presentation.
We had chicken satay, crispy pad Thai, and green curry. Yum, yum, yum!
Service was really fast, and everyone was kind.
It's in a little place but the atmosphere was nice. We'll definitely be back!
I love Thai food, and this is pretty close to authentic. I spend six months a year in Patong with my buddy at the Cannabis Club.
I love love this lil spot! They have the best Thai tea! The coconut soup is like no other! The Thai spring rolls are delish! The masman curry is wonderful, and all of the food that I have tried so far has been soooo yummy and they always accommodate to your needs in any way. The service is amazing!!! So happy to have this lil gem. If you love Thai food, this is the spot. ❤️
Best pad Thai I’ve had and the Thai tea is also great. I have been coming here for about a decade and haven’t found a Thai restaurant I like better.
Absolutely amazing food and service
Love this place!!! if you want authentic Thai food this is the place to get it. I grew up in Thailand, it’s not fake Thai.
love the massaman curry tofu! I get it all the time for takeout
Best Thai food in Cobb county! The service was great and fast. I have never had anything bad from this place. Highly recommend!
Got some soup yesterday and it was very tasty, service was great.
Best thai in town, I order at least once a week from this place. I recommend the pad thai and the spicy fried rice. They can make it african hot
Was delicious. The Nom Sod was extra spicy for me but great flavor.
The food here is absolutely delish. The service is fast and the workers are very pleasant! When you come through the door, you can feel the warm and friendliness in the atmosphere. I come regularly and have told others about it too.
Food is good. Prices on menu on website are NOT the right prices. Most items are $1 to $3 more than listed on menu on website. The restaurant WOULD NOT honor the prices on the website. I calculate our meal @ $38. We paid $48 once we were in the restaurant.
This visit was for my birthday and I was disappointed. The kind lady taking orders said she would tell owner, but that’s no help now.
One of my favorite Thai restaurants. Order the Pad Thai and ask for extra noodles.
This is a nice, small Thai restaurant. I've ordered here twice - the same dish, recommended - and both times it was excellent. Pad Thai, I believe it's called.
It's a nice place with great food and service.
The food was okay. I am more irritated at the quality and price.
I ordered shrimp basil curry with extra basil and cilantro with limes.
The portion was a standard dinner portion from a takeout place… I think.
It’s was $24!!! Completely unjustifiable. Worth $15 max with tip and tax. Even then I would be irritated.
The flavor was very so-so, and nothing special. I have paid A LOT LESS for just as much if not more. This should have been half the price. I won’t be back for that reason.
Get your stuff together and stop overcharging customers. I can make the same dish for $3 that you charged me $24 for.
Just picked up my order is massan curry. The avocado was actually black and they didn't include any potatoes in the curry. I will not be back.
We wanted a taste and fresh dessert stopped in and had the Mango Sweet Rice. Mission accomplished. Met some other delighted patrons enjoying Coconut Curry Soup. See you there next time. Sorry all gone, no picture.
Great food
I always thought of this place as one of the very few really good restaurants in the Austell area however my order today changed that. I order pad Thai with tofu 18$ It was greasy noodles burnt egg and tofu. No bean sprouts no onions no carrots no peanuts. The type of food I expect from the Thai restaurants on east west connector.
Great Food and Customer Service!! They are like a little hidden gem on Austell Road! You gotta try it!!
I ordered Tom yum soup it's so flavorful and I ordered the Thai fried rice. Everything was so good I will be back. You can taste that the food was made fresh and I really enjoy that.
I tried use delivery with the store preferred, that took me to a dead page./ I tried calling, I got the store hours and all the information I didnt need, I called back again, someone just took the phone off the hook and never answered, I was a new customer, I needed my food delivered today, I coulnt even talk to anyone on the phone or online. Get your act together on customer courtesy and business phone edicate please. You should really work hard on that for your new customers, because I was a customer that has moved on.
The atmosphere is nice. Food is very good. The cashier when I came to pick up my food was extremely nice!! I love it
El menú es variado y "SIN Complicaciones". Los precios son razonables , El servicio es muy Amable ... LO MAS IMPORTANTE LA COMIDA ES DELICIOSA '! 😋
One of the few great restaurants in the area
The food was excellent! The decor wasn't over the top and the ladies that work there are phenomenal! This is my new favorite Thai spot. Thai of Austell, outstanding!
The best hood good good 10 stars
Loved it here yesterday after going for the 1st time! The beautiful Thai waitress and cashier named Sasi was very sweet, patient and hospitable and great to speak to as well as the manager Ms. Jade! Love how I am able to get some dishes modified as vegan with no oyster sauce, no fish sauce in them unlike in some Thai restaurants. Loved the Thai iced tea with coconut milk instead of cow's milk! Will be coming back here and hope Ms. Jade can find a new employee that can be kept while the new employee deserves good pay and even benefits commensurate with his or experience and not being started out at minimum as earnings/retention is serious for both parties.
So I just moved to the area and I’m trying to get a feel of the restaurants nearby. I googled good places to eat and this came up. Might I add I love Thai food! I looked at the reviews and it made me wanna try it even more. I placed an online order for the Spicy Basil, omgeeee it was DELICIOUS!!! This might've been the best spicy basil I’ve had! I definitely will be a returning customer 😊
The food was flavorful but not what I requested. I specifically stated no onions and no bean sprouts. The lady taking the order said "ok, no vegetables at all." Tons of onions and tons of bean sprouts.
Just look at the picture. It's even on the receipt but still not what I wanted. Also, there was no extra limes or extra peanuts as requested.
Staff was really sweet but otherwise dissatisfied with order.
Food smells good never ate there they are busy I plan to get food from there I just picked up delivery
Best Thai Food in Marietta, I highly recommend
Customer services is amazing, and Delicious Thai Food.
We literally just got our food from them! The food is usually good but tonight my green chicken curry was watered down!!! I asked for extra broccoli and got 1 stem! This was terrible!
보통 타이식당. 요리도 그냥 그냥.
지금은 투고만합니다
The food here is always amazing & the lady at the front counter is ALWAYS so nice! Her customer service is the best!
Omggggg the food was so delicious and flavorful. I can’t lie, I was nervous about trying this place out but it was excellent!
I got the Masaman curry with rice. The shrimp roll, the vegetable soup & pad Thai chicken and shrimp. It all was very delicious. Even the soup!
I’ll definitely come back here!!
Great food💯
The food is great!
My family’s favorite Thai Restaurant. Can’t wait for them to reopen for dine in.
this place use to have the best coconut soup i've ever had. Unfortunately last night I picked up some soup and it did not taste the same, it did not have the lemon grass taste and little bits of the actual plant in the soup, also did not have the same amount and taste of cilantro it use to have. I don't know if they have a new cook, or it was my unlucky day of ordering. I would really like if you could fix this issue and just have the tasty and rich soup you guys use to have back.
I stopped at this restaurant after taking my kids to the dentist. When I got my ticket I asked the young man if I could have some Togo boxes because we hardly touched the food. He said he would box it up for us in the back and I didn't want to be weird so I said ok. Now that I'm home I open up the boxes and I only got half of what we had left. So I'm sure he gave it to the lady whom was waiting on her order. So gross!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!
The food here is very good. We normally order pad Thai with Thai tea which never disappoints. This most recent visit they had extra tofu and asked if I wanted it. I'm so glad because it was delicious. This has been our go to spot, have tried many others and none taste as good as theirs.
The only reasons I'm giving this place a positive 2 stars is because my husband said the food was good and the jerk of a lady at the front may not represent the establishment directly. But even he told me to cancel the order after he heard the "lady" at the front be so rude to me. I asked about my order, she couldn't find it, looked somewhere else, then decided to TELL me that my husband just ordered that second. No biggie right... nope. I said "oh no, it was about 20 minutes ago". Mind you I had been on the phone when he ordered as that's when he told me to pick it up. Still NOT a big deal until the "lady"decided to start getting loud and annoying by continuously telling me he had "literally ordered just now, he literally ordered just now". The whole encounter was just bad and I wish I could give the person a review, rather than the establishment! Even though the food was (supposedly good) my husband says we'll never go there again due to the way he heard her speaking to me. 👎🏽👎🏽
What we got to eat was pretty good but unfortunately what I ordered online and what I received were not the same. I do not eat meat or food cooked with meat so my curry was a total waste. Not sure what the mix up between the website ordering and what they received is but it’s unfortunate because they were closed by the time I sat down to eat. 3 stars because my bf liked his.
Food was just OK. Definitely nothing to write home about. The portion sizes for the price are extremely disappointing. We had to stop at McDonald's on the way home. Will not be returning.
Highly recommended. The food is delicious, seasoned well, good portions, and reasonably priced. The staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming. The pad woon sen is Always a winner.
Food is great, staff is very friendly.
Whoof, it’s palpable at best. Freezer burned chicken and they put sweetener in the soups. Super gross. Been all over Thailand, lived in Bangkok and Chang mi for years and not once have I ever come across sugar in my Tom yum
Delicious food!!
Best Thai food in the land! Customer service is also excellent. Pad thai, curry, nam sod, coco chicken soup, I could got on but they're all so delicious! Every appetizer is fantastic and we always have a hard time choosing which one we want. Thai iced coffee is a must if you're a coffee lover like me!! If you haven't been you're definitely missing out on some amazing Thai food!
I ordered Thai Dumplings and Penang Curry. The Curry has a pepper next to it on the menu identifying it as spicy, it is not as spicy as I'd like. It was very good, just not as hot as I'd like. The restaurant should offer level of spices like mild, medium, hot, very hot and Thai hot. I would order the very hot. I learned on a trip to the UK, never order Thai hot, unless you are from Thailand.
I'm visiting here for work and Thai of Austell is close to my hotel. On my next trip here I will request more heat.
My cousins brought me here and it was so awesome, can't wait to come back and eat this great food they have here
Food is fabulous.
Lovely people.
Cleanest kitchen I've ever seen! Super Diligent about this.
I love this place! Food is always hot and fresh and delicious. 😋 one of my favorite spots.
Horrible Service...I ordered 43.00 worth of food ...They messed up all 3 orders and wouldnt refund me my money or fix the orders....Never again will i eat at this place...Horrible Customer Service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was my first time there. Food was delicious. The lady taking my order was very nice. I didn't know what to order and she recommended my dish. I will definitely go back.
Good variety of dishes. Tasty red curry. Good portion size
Great employees working here, and they got my food to me Very Fast! This business has some really great tasting food too! 😀
I recently went there with a friend for lunch and I must said I was pleasantly surprised. Our orders came out in record time, the food was full of eclectic flavors, and the customer service was great! I think we just found a new place to frequent....see you ladies soon:-)
Okay, so first let me apologize for not trying this place sooner based off someone else opinions. The food here is very authentic and GOOD. But the portions are quite small even the dinner portions are small for the price. It’s not cheap but u can tell the quality is there.
Has to be one of the best Thai restaurants in America!
Consistently delicious and delightful. Can't wait until it's safe again to dine-in. We pass about 3 other Thai places on our drive over to Thai of Austell and it's worth the extra time and miles.
Great chicken curry, reasonable prices. Food is fresh and tasty.
Delivery via UBer Eats
The food was overpriced and the portion size was small on the appetizers as seen in picture above: $10. My vegetable spring rolls were soggy and had no flavor as if they were bought in frozen.
The Phad Thai was flavorless and did not come with lime wedge and crushed peanuts. There was no texture just a big slop, chicken was bone dry. There was no shrimp, in the description and picture it mentions chicken and shrimp however assume the attempt to charge me $2 for the shrimp was the way to add it to the dish total: $14.95 without shrimp
Phad Kee-Mow my chicken was bone dry noddles were completely congealed it had two peppers in the entire dish and again no flavor what so ever $12.95
Nam Tok - beef dry again no flavor tiny side of carrot $12.95
Needless to say I feel like I have been robbed
I have been a regular for at least 4 years now.. Hands down the best Thai food in the area! Worth the trip! If you are searching for that home-cooked taste, this is it!
Loved the spring rolls. The pad Thai is probably the best in the area, but the shrimp were literally garnish in the dish because I only had two of them. If you like shrimp, I recommend ordering some extra...but it’s definitely worth going to this place.
Great food , super polite and friendly staff.
I love this restaurant, don't see why they only have a 4.3 but I'll help them out with a 5 star review cause they're definitely worth it
I have been coming here for about 7 years now. I love this place. I eat here at least once a month. Have not found a thai restaurant in the area that have been better than this restaurant. Food is always fresh, good, and they are always friendly.
Went there for lunch today and picked it up, and get all the way back to work and my rice is hard. I mix my rice with my main dish. I called and they wanted me to come back to pick up the rice. Im like I am 20 min away and I'm not clocking out for rice. So long story short I can't even enjoy my salmon without my rice so its pointless. I will not be giving them any of my money any more. Too expensive to be wronged.
Amazing food. A little on the high price side. Amazing service. Fast good. I would highly recommend. We go here often.
The best food, best customer service, clean, quite and great quality’s of food. I eat there everyday. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Very nice place! The food is great , I especially like the potato appetizers, the pad thai....I had it with shrimp and tofu, and the taro desert. Also very friendly waitress (know me by name) and good, fast service! Everything here is great! Good prices too. Don't order it through ubereats.....its not as good
Wonderful authentic Thai food. Excellent service Beware the “Thai Hot”. It is not for the faint of heart...lol
Excellent food!
I ordered the Thai angel hair noodles with seafood and the shrimp fried rice to carry out. I got home and I was very disappointed. The noodles and veggies was like mush. Totally over cooked. The seafood was tough, dry and tasteless. I ate the rice it was just ok, not alot of flavor. I took it back to restaurant and the owner was rude and extremely hesitant to refund me. I won't order again.
