I ordered the pad Thai with medium spice it was delicious I like spicy but didn’t want my stomach hurting the amount was perfect with the scale they have. The crab ragoons were some of the best me and my fiancé have had the perfect crunch the perfect size and the filling melted in your mouth

I order the drunken noodles whenever I’m in town. My daughter just brought some down to me in Toledo. I used to get lunch there all the time years ago. I love the people and the food. I’m going to try the sweet? Version of the drunken noodles next. I think it’s number five.

When the customer repeats his order and yet you screw up the customers order and he has to drive 20 minutes round trip, you dont throw the same open rice AND charge him extra for your mistake.

Piece of advice and this is NOT meant disrespectfully, have someone who comprehends English taking your orders over the phone. This misadventure of a wrong order happened twice in one week.

Again, you screwed up...you dont charge someone for your mess up AND give him cold rice.

I really enjoy 😉 ed the Flavor of the food 🥘 here! I ordered take out and the portions were very good and tasty 😋! The person who took my order was very helpful and friendly in assisting me with my first time order! The soup 🍜 had flavor as did the rest of the food 🥘! Nice 👍 small dining area! This was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend the food 🥘 and service here! The prices are Very Reasonable!

Food was great! I had a tasty chicken dish with homemade peanut sauce. Had some extra veggies added and Yummmmo. My server Tate was very attentive and on top of things. Huge portions too... Enough to eat there and for at least one more big meal. Had a great experience and will definitely be back soon!

Cashier was rude, very close small sitting area.stand and wait for order or go to your car and wait.

My food was overcooked too salty..bittersweet tasting..crab Rangoon nice and crispy but too sweet not enough crab..kinda turned my stomach..couldn't take more than 3 bites.

Hair in one of the entrees. One was horribly salty. The other two things we got were so so watered down it was embarrassing. Never ever again.

I highly recommend the Beef Pad Thai medium heat. Always delicious.

We had their food a few years ago and it was passable. But today, we did takeout and I couldn't even begin to finish my dish. Pad thai combo just didn't taste like much. I will say the shrimp was is cooked well but there was just little flavor. We also had some eggrolls, which again not good flavorwise and the sweet and sour sauce seemed watered down. We had seafood curry and it looked like it had been sitting there for days. We tried to eat our dinner but ended up throwing everything out. I've never given a restaurant one star in my life but it was that gross.

Nowhere does it say tips are REQUIRED, tips are gratitude toward the server for having good service not a requirement and for the server to reply from your actual establishment is disgusting! Zero stars and I will not be returning. I’ll also be letting everyone I know never to come to your establishment.

I came here with my boyfriend. he found a black hair in his meal which was neither of ours because we both have blonde hair. said nothing about it. cashier asked if we wanted to pay before we sat down so we said yes. lady came out and yelled at us for paying before the meal even though it was offered. fast forward we leave after finishing our food and a crazy lady chases us outside of the restaurant and screams in our faces about a tip. tip for what!!? we ate our food and left there was no service. we were told to not come back because we “didn’t pay” don’t worry, we won’t be back!

I've always loved this place but I ordered through GrubHub today and I feel like the portions are way smaller than they used to be. I remember I could get 2 full meals out of it and now it's seems as if they cut the portions in half.

My first time there..they gave a soup instead a meal with( brown gravy )WHICH REEKED OF (mouse)URINE! I'm just hoping it was mouse urine and not human..and came with PLAIN white rice.. I'm going back to Chinese food instead for sure!! NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN🤮🤮🤮

Good place for a quick dinner. Pad that and drunken noodles were both good. Medium heat wasn't as spicy as expected but that's nothing you can't fix at home.

I come here at least once a month. This is by far the worst I have gotten. Ordered the beef pad Thai and I think there was 5 small thin pieces of beef!! Really?? I try this place I more time to see if it changes. I will post the results.

I've never had Thai Place before, so I thought I'd try it. I love Thai food. I ordered curry pad thai with chicken, mild+ spice. I got home and it was so spicy, it was uncomfortable to eat. The noodles were mushy and the flavor was very odd. I called, explained my situation and asked if I could get something different, not a noodle dish, and was told no. It had to be the same thing. Then, to remake it, they could not start until I returned the first order. So, I took it back and waited another 15 minutes. When I got home, I was just as disappointed! Mushy noodles and terrible favor, but at least it was edible spicewise. Strange customer service policy and atmosphere was small, with supplies piled high. I do not recommend and will not return. Gave 2 stars because the portion size was generous.

I'd eat the Thai Beef Salad regularly. Upon this visit, the salad was over spiced (not enough beef or lettuce) almost inedible. But the soup at lunch and the thai tea were great(just the salad was disappointing).

My taste buds are doing the happy dance! Delicious pad Thai! I will concede that their heat levels are low, so if you like it spicy l, order up a bit more.

My favorite Thai place to order from. Today I got the vegetable pad se ew in medium spice and it was delicious but def on the spicier side. There were plenty of vegetables and most are hidden at the bottom so you just have to mix it up! 😉 prices are good and portions are good! Also try their Thai fried rice and pad Thai!

I was going to order here but because of so many negative reviews and customers complaining about a rude lady that works there, i guess i will try another Thai place

I ordered the pad see ew with EXTRA vegetables, I paid $2.50 for more veggies and there is one onion, one carrot slice, and three pieces of broccoli. If I hadn’t paid for extra would there just have been zero veggies??

Great food and very large portions for the price

If you're looking for a quick thai meal, highly recommend them always ready in under 20 minutes and never an issue. Food and service are amazing. Get the Tom Yum Koong, I promise you won't regret it

The food has been great, chicken fried rice is the best, sorry not sure about the atmosphere we do carry out, food is fantastic and plenty of it for a good price.

Chefs Suggestion Chicken Teriyaki is phenomenal…. You need to try this dish at least once. Friendly service and cleanly establishment :) other dishes have been good too.

My food was delicious as usual from the dish that I ordered, Pad See Ew with Chicken (medium plus)a Spring roll and white rice. The wait for my order wasn't that long at around 10 minutes. The inside was clean and inviting as usual and the customer service was friendly and helpful as always. If you have a taste for authentic Thai food then Thai Place is definitely worth a visit in my opinion.

My friend and I went there and got sick
He ordered seafood combination and I had fried rice.when he smelled the seafood he instantly didn't care for the smell then he drained the broth and ate the seafood and veggies later that next day he vomited stomach was aching.. I didn't eat much, but the next day, it didn't look edible...Thai is one of those restaurants, where you have to go where you are familiar, not a random spot

Great place to get Teriyaki Chicken

The food is delicious. The service is INSANELY over the top HORRIBLE. There really aren't words for how rude the lady that works there is. She is NEVER WRONG (lol) and if they mess up your order, which happens - and no one was even upset - she will DENY it and then tell you to never come back. There are countless reviews that say this same thing and it makes me laugh reading them because she jumps down people's throats and immediately blames them - every time! Reminds me of NO SOUP FOR YOU! (Seinfeld) Good luck. And hi, mean lady - I'm sure she will reply - she always does.

Rudest woman ever! Got my order wrong and kept insisting that it was MY fault - then she starts YELLING AT ME! So rude. The food is only average. I’ll go somewhere that I can get what I actually order and not be yelled at for someone else’s mistakes! Horrible service! *** Did NOT give my money back as she claimed. And I was sitting in a chair waiting on my order calmly. Read the other reviews. This woman starts fights with anyone that claims she made a mistake.

I had a horrible experience at this restaurant! The worst ever at any restaurant to be honest! It was a misunderstanding about a order I placed. The person who I had the misunderstanding with happen to be an very rude owner! Once I had a issue with my order she completely flipped out on me. We have communicated since and it was resolved professionally via a call by myself to the owner. However I still feel the need to warn customers about this establishment. Stay clear of this place! Shameful we are the customers. How arrogant!

I've been to this place several times and I must say I've always been pleased with the food. However, today I stopped in and ordered something different. I got the chicken pad thai. I was disappointed. Big chucks of bland chicken and the noodles were just thick and very dry. This is definitely not a dish I would try from there again

Saw that the reviews reviews were good so I gave it a try. Ordered sweet and sour chicken fried rice. First bite I got immediately nauseous. Returned to the store to politely inform them and the lady (Veryana) was very rude. She actually laughed at me stating that everyone else loves it and it’s my fault for ordering that item. She then said she had other things to do and dismissed my concern. She didn’t even pretend to care.

The best red curry around, trust me. Never disappointed once over the years. Everything is fresh and delicious, so full of flavor. The only improvement they could possibly make is to add Tod Mun to the menu 👀

Worst place on earth. There was creepy worms on the peas on soup and I informed waitress to review it . She says its not a worm , the student Maddy who was working there said "ew". Still the waitress who was a Asian descent said its not spoiled. She went in and yelled at the staff who cooked it. Ordered sweet and sour with rice and pad pak both dishes were like soup very watery the flavor was also like over cooked vegetables with spice. The Pad Thai flavor was very average again with the noodles over cooked and mushy. When I inquired about the consistency they told me this is the style of Thai they cook. Pad thai was VERY dry compared to other thai places and then I found a hair in my food which ruined my appetite. Ended up throwing most of the meal in the trash afterwards. Jees top 5 is the BEST thai I've had downriver I recommend you skip this place.

Probably the best Thai takeout in the downriver area. Not, however, the best I've had. Prep usually takes 20-25 minutes so call well in advance when picking up. Friendly staff and good prices as well as a fairly robust menu keep me coming back.

overcharged me $10 (-2 stars), gave me part of what I ordered then a second dish I did not even order but got charged for of course. It wasn't even edible anyways so threw it right in the garbage. Had to place a second order to get the remainder of my first order filled correctly. Tried to explain to them they messed up but before I could even get more than 2 words out was told I didn't order the item which I did (-2 stars). Not interested in your back talk. Customer is always wrong and the restaurant gets an extra $10.

We've been looking for a Thai Food Restaurant downriver ever since our main place closed for renovations, Thai Place is the place! The Chicken Pad Thai medium spice was excellent and the dinner size portion was large! The Rice Noodles were thin and great. Plenty of chicken which seems to be the main place that others fall short. Thai Place has Excellent Chicken Pad Thai!

Some lady took offense to me coughing and picked up her food and told the owner she needed to spray Lysol lol. then she called after she walked out and the owner said she couldn’t give me my food because I coughed. Well if you look at the cooks there not wearing mask as there wiping the sweat off there forehead while there cooking your food. Enjoy

My boyfriend orederd the beef fried rice ,there was maybe 3 pieces of beef in his order.
My beef salad had no dressing ( the whole reason we ordered thai food was because I was craving a Thai beef salad ,) it was very dry ,with no flavor. Came with no the dressing. Very very very disappointing.
And my main dish was a eggplant based order.
I have no idea ,what they put in my take out order. There was absolutely no egg plant in the dish, I still have no clue what they gave me. Im certain that was even beef in my dish. Bad experience

I have been to this place more than 20 times. Each time my food tasted different than the previous time. I have been a vegan for a year and they do not have anything for vegans. They offer tofu but in all of their dishes there is oyster sauce and fish sauce so if you have a seafood allergy I do not recommend Thai food

I love getting pick up here because it is always tasty and fast. Very friendly people that own this place too. I'm a huge fan of the potato Curry and I've tasted it from pretty much every Thai place, I have to say they have the best. Big portions too pace yourself because there's a lot. Good stuff

Asked for extra pad Thai sauce, they hooked up a ton on the side. It was perfect for the reheat. Place was clean, staff was dressed beautifully on a Sunday. Keep up the good work. Forgot to get a ice tea. Will try next time.

Very rude. I asked to make a Togo order and when I asked what are the levels of spice are in the Pad Thai curry the woman rapidly listed them all but it was to quick for me to understand. So I asked if she said mild? She said no why don’t you listen to me? That’s not what I said? I just said forget it, if my one question is too much for you then I’ll take my business to the place down the street. Very disappointed because I have been to this place multiple times and it is always great.

BEST place for authentic, affordable, and tasty thai food! Plus excellent large portions for your buck and nice service! They have never messed up my order, gave me cold food, gave me bad food or not well flavored!!! Try the chicken fried rice with cashews and vegetables, or the pad thai!!!

I've been going here for almost a decade now, and every time the service and food are both outstanding! Generous portions, reasonable pricing & plenty of vegetarian options along with the usual: beef, chicken, etc. There's not a ton of indoor dining space (currently closed due to COVID) but it's a fantastic take out place anytime.

Terrible service!!! I asked to have my meal remade due to being over cooked. The lady basically cussed me out told me there are plenty of other Thai places to eat at and to never come there again. All she had to do was remake the food and I would have been on my way. I’ll be obliging ✌🏾

Poor customer service by owner!
The owner stated she doesn't like dealing with "our people". When asked to clarify, she stated "cheap people". all because she was asked if another plate of rice could be made due to it being mushy and not like usual. she then proceeded to count each shrimp she put in to make sure none of it was eaten.
can not believe her behavior. keep "OUR MONEY" with "OUR OWN" businesses.

Phenomenal food and great, fast service. Couldn't recommend more!

I liked the meals, but for me the best part was the tofu todd and the spring rolls. Omgosh the spring rolls are soooooo good!
