This is the best restaurant I have ever been to. I stumbled into here today with my friend and we LOVED it. You must try the Wonton Soup!!! It is phenomenal! The fried chicken as an appetizer was perfectly cooked. I don’t know how they made it so flavorful and flaky. The Thai fried rice with chicken and the shrimp pad Thai was also fantastic. The service was lovely as well - could not have been better. The portions are huge and it’s VERY reasonably priced. I really can’t wait to come back here with more friends and my family when they visit. Absolutely worth checking out even if you don’t live in the Royal Oak area. I’m blown away and so happy to know that I have leftovers from this amazing meal. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
Finally a great authentic tasting Thai restaurant in royal oak. This was our first time dining in. Was excited to have in person since it’s the only place I’ve found that wraps the pad thai in omelette (like in the night markets). Along with crab Rangoon and crispy pork cracklings, we ordered laab gai and shrimp pad Thai medium spice. Our entrees were outstanding but the appetizers were just ok. I Absolutely love the strong flavors of tamarind, fish sauce and spice in their pad Thai - it wasn’t watered it down or oily like some of the other places I’ve had in area. I also enjoyed the large drinks offerings - I had the yummy butterfly pea lemonade. The place was bright but cozy, with very friendly staff/quick service. We chatted with our server about visiting the islands and recommendations of things to try. Definitely worth another visit.
The service was warm and inviting and the atmosphere was as vibrant as the food.
My dad and I stumbled upon this place after following our noses from the movie theater. We weren't disappointed. I ordered the drunken noodles-N3. The mouthwatering dish was served hot and well seasoned. I also ordered some spring rolls and was very impressed by the crisp crunch and the flavors. I ordered the Thai tea, and it was sweet and fresh. My father ended up buying tea too because it was that good!
My father ordered an appetizer, A1 Meatball Lover. This was the only item that needs "tweaking" to the recipe. It had a fishy aftertaste and was very chewy. It almost tasted like tofu. It was ok though he ordered a fish dish to make up for it. lol It was the Chef's Special - Pla Lui Suan. I took one bite and was thrilled. I'm definitely coming again.
I'm a little plush so the seats aren't comfortable for long sitting. Maybe that is the point lol
Kacha Thai Market is authentic down to the decor and food. The server is really nice and made some recommendations between Lao papaya salad and Thai papaya salad. I loved the Lao papaya salad but be forewarned if you are sensitive to smell and taste of things fishy. I love it but not everyone will enjoy it.
I see it was a new place and was hesitant to try but I’m so glad I did. We order the Tom yum soup which we loved. I would suggest to owners to put in the menu what the up charge would be if we wanted to add shrimp. I knew there would be one but just so it’s not a surprise to other guests. Correct me if I’m wrong but I didn’t see what it would be for a small bowl.
We also ordered the Thai Basil fried rice with chicken. I personally order this to see if the restaurant in general would be good or not. Silly, I know but fried rice is not as easy to make with the great taste of the hot wok in the rice. I’m a fried rice snob but I have to say their fried rice was absolutely delicious.
My husband has been looking for some crispy pork belly. We went to a Chinese restaurant and was not up to par. It came soaked in sauce which made the pork belly soggy. We loved this pork belly though. It has a nice crispy crunch to every bite.
If I lived closer, this would be my go to Thai restaurant. I would definitely recommend this to any Thai food lovers. Anyone new to thai food, try to order mild or no spice if you can’t handle the heat. I am one of those and mild was the perfect balance for me.
Thinking of going to which Thai place for lunch today or dinner tonight? Look no further, Kacha Thai Market it is!
This newly opened Thai restaurant is now our favorite go-to restaurant in the area. Since we had a newborn, my wife and I had ordered carry out 7 times from here and never once disappointed. As Southeast Asian ourselves, the flavors and spices aroma in the dishes are absolutely spot on.
We had tried majority of the Thai restaurants around the area, some of them are pretty good but it’s just not at the same level of authenticity as Kacha. Yes, the price here might be a little on a higher end since it’s in downtown Royal Oak, but you are guaranteed to get your food made from fresh and quality ingredients, dishes that are delicately prepared, portions that are value for your money, and satisfaction after your meal.
Our favorite is their Pad Thai as every layer of the noodle is so well mixed with the right amount of sauce (not wet like some other places), and most importantly not too sweet! If you can, make sure you get the Pad Thai Shrimp that wrapped inside an omelette! Chicken rice and roast pork rice are amazing too. For appetizer, we like their apple salad and Moo Ping (grilled pork skewer. Also, if you have room for dessert, make sure you try out their delicious Thai coconut custard (comes in 4 pieces).
Update: We just tried two of their new items, Wonton Noodle Soup and Kao Moo Daeng (red bbq pork and rice), and they are delicious!
Everything was fine, just a little bland overall. The wonton bites are actually crab, but the menu doesn’t say this. I don’t eat crab so it was wasted money and food.
Best Thai in the area. I hope more find them. I just had the green curry and I wanted to lick my bowl!

Best Thai food in the metro area. Finally ate in instead of having delivery and just so darn good!
Love the ginger fried rice, pad Thai shrimp, and any of the soups! Plus fresh rolls (personal fav).
If you like good Thai food, this is your place!
The real deal! We will return when in Royal Oak
Phenomenal! Very different than your standard Thai fare.
Wait time for pick up is insanely late not a single time I came and the food was ready. Minimum wait time is like10 mins. (Rating based of service not food)
The service was warm and inviting and the atmosphere was as vibrant as the food.

Awesome little restaurant, I had the Red Curry with Chicken. It was creamy with a good bit of spice, I will be coming back!
Exceptional Thai cuisine! The best in Metro Detroit!
Incredibly over priced! I paid 20$ for maybe 1 handful of noodles. Crab Rangoon wasn't even enjoyable.
Shin thai, or Saab are WAY better.
Don't waste your time here
Over priced for the serving, almost insultingly. The food taste good but the chicken looks and feels more like tofu...
Did takeout so can’t speak on atmosphere - but food was hot and ready when we arrived.
Our new favorite Thai spot in RO and arguably the best Thai in metro Detroit
Food is so good. Very authentic Thai food
Great experience 👍🏽
Great service 👏
Wonderful food and very authentic 👌
Highly recommend
Came here on a Wednesday. Ordered takeout.
Food was delicious, takeout was ready in like 8 minutes.
Staff was friendly but you can only order online
Just tried Kacha recently, and boy, am I glad I did. The food was excellent. I love that they add tofu to the pad thai. This way, when you're done with your 4 shrimp, you have something to help wash down those noodles! I also enjoyed the massaman curry and pad see ew. The fresh rolls were also really good. Everything was fresh and tasty. The pork satay was good, but I hope they consider adding pork chops to the menu one day.

The chicken dishes are prepared with zabiha halal chicken, according to the server.
Larb gai was $15 and the small take out container was not even half full. Papaya salad was $10 and once again the small container was not even half full. Mint in larb gai was black and wilted. Panang curry was nice but the side of rice was barely a scoop of rice. I was really looking forward to trying Kacha and was sorely disappointed. Called the restaurant to resolve the issues and was told I would be called back but never received a call. Spent $50 here including tip.
This is the best Thai restaurant in Metro Detroit hands down. Phenomenal service, adorable decor, delicious food and yummy iced tea. Really not more you could ask for!
Bad behavior with delivery drivers not professional, they give bad ratings to all delivery drivers which affects driver rating
Apple salad 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️ was great, wish it was a bit larger
The food was excellent and well plated/presented. The restaurant staff was very friendly and accommodating to dietary restrictions. We learned about a spicy food competition coming up and look forward to returning and participating.
I've tried many Thai restaurants and this is one of, if not the best one in the Detroit burbs with vegan options! Very consistent and good quality every time, I keep going back!
Food was so good, service was great, everyone was so kind and welcoming! Great experience, will be back. Also, easily the best pork I’ve ever had, I mean wow.
Tried this place on a whim and it did not disappoint! It’s seriously is the best, this place could be in Seattle (which has a huge Thai community and the best Thai restaurants). We ordered the pad Thai and drunken noodles. I can’t wait to order again and try the Laab Gai, Mango sticky rice, and Thai tea.
Delicious food! Friendly and attentive staff!
Expensive and servings are small. Server was nice .
The chef and staff went out of their way to make sure my meal was gluten free. The Pad Thai was amazing!
Incredible! I have been looking all over the Detroit area for Thai food that tastes like the real Thai red curry I fell in love with overseas. THIS IS IT!! It is so good! Come here, you won't be disappointed. Spice level medium wasn't too spicy.
Great place reminds me of eating in Thailand. Friendly kind service. Just the right level of spice.
food is good, but would rather order take out next time. kinda sucks being ignored and watching other tables get serviced quickly and easily.
Clean, pretty, good food, sweetest servers :)
I have been looking for great Thai food for a long time. This place is so authentic, their flavors are spot on. My go to spot for Thai food. Highly recommend the Pad See Ew with pork and medium spice. That’s what my server recommended. The noodles are bouncy and there’s enough to feed me for another meal.
Excellent service and great authentic food!
The best Thai Food in Michigan. Everything is amazing and made authentically with care. Great people. Great place. I hope it stays here for eternity!
Had a great experience here tonight with my wife and son. Our server was very kind and accommodating to our toddler. The food was amazing, with a good portion and fair price. It's tough to find that in a restaurant nowadays. We will definitely be back.
THE BEST THAI FOOD!!! So good and I love that they don’t skimp on the meat/veggies.
Wow! So happy to have some authentic Thai food in the area! Feels and tastes like being in Thailand. I had the basil fried rice with beef and it was SO tasty! Can’t wait to come back.
Great Thai food, everything tasted very fresh and the service was great. I've gotten as carry out also and everything was just as delicious.
I ordered carry out today for the first time and am so sad it took me so long to try this place! I ordered the Fresh Roll, which was SO incredibly fresh. Lovely veggies and perfectly sized chicken bites. They were HUGE and alone likely would have been big enough for a lunch. Great value. I also ordered the Gluten Free Doo Dee Noodle Soup - this was enough food to feed 2 people at minimum. Hot, fresh, delicious, and most importantly, no gluten reaction which is always a fear. I can't recommend Kacha highly enough, THANK YOU!
Cute place on Main Street in Royal Oak. The food is nicely prepared, tasty and nicely spiced. We like spicy food and medium level of spice is good, but not too spicy. Your mileage may vary.
Drunken noodles and pad see ew were generously portioned and had a nice balance. Not too oily.
The fresh rolls and chicken satay were also generously portioned and were delicious appetizers. The fresh rolls had good texture on the wrapper and the crunchy vegetables were satisfying. The sauce went nicely.
Kacha has quickly become my go-to Thai, and that's impressive with all the competition in the area.
Everything is fantastic. My favorite is the red curry, but nothing disappoints.
The staff is helpful, kind, and welcoming. If they ever do the buffet again, be sure to check it out.
I love Kacha Thai Market! I was a foreign exchange student to Thailand when I was in high school, and Kacha is the most authentic Thai food that I've had in the US. Every bite takes me back. I've had and love the iced tea, laab gai, radna, and basil fried rice. My partner has had the pad thai each time and loves it. My only wish is that they had my all time favorite thai food, khao soi. Thank you Kacha Thai Market for the delicious food, time and time again!
I placed a carry out order for red curry with tofu and the fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce. I like to get my curry on the milder side because you can taste the vegetables more, and the produce was so fresh! And the spring rolls they give you are massive, and well priced - such a good deal. The tofu was cooked perfectly and thre curry was so creamy, it really hit the spot. Three different servers checked in with me to make sure I’d been helped as I waited for my order and were so nice. Will be returning!
Loved
I come to this place ones a week and it always delivers. Best Thai place in Royal Oak by miles.
Fantastic food. Really enjoyed the sticky rice and the chicken pad cashew (chef’s special). Friendly staff and nice space.
❤️❤️❤️ I will be back!
We’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for some time and we finally stopped by last Saturday. The food was extraordinary. Everything was carefully prepared and very flavorful. We will definitely be back!
10/10 Thai food with amazing service. We started with Thai tea which was very refreshing and flavorful. I got the Panang curry with chicken, which was a coconut curry with the perfect balance of sweet and savory. Great portion sizes & comfortable level of spice. I would highly recommend!!
Was ignored most of the time. Sat and waited for menus for over 5 minutes while they helped people that came in after us. We’re ready to order and every staff member looked passed us. We left never going back.
Great service and very reasonably priced.
The food is very tasty and their spicy level actually made we sweat.
Ordered carry out twice with curbside pick up. Both times I was told order wasn’t ready and there isn’t really a good spot to wait for curbside pickup. First time, I ended up with a ticket. This time I parked at the garage instead of waiting at the curb. I ordered pineapple fried rice with NO peanuts due to my daughter having a severe peanut allergy. I even wrote in the comments “No peanuts due to peanut allergy.” On the receipt, it says no peanuts three times and my fried rice still ended up with peanuts. Food isn’t bad but if you have an allergy you might end up with anaphylaxis from their neglect to read comments.
The food and arrive were outstanding. The staff were attentive and clarified items on the menu. The staff were very friendly and upbeat.
Takeout- Paid extra for shrimp in my Thai fried rice dish, but couldn't eat it as it was undercooked. Paid extra for the sunny side up egg, but it was so overcooked that the yolk was solid. Even if those were on point, I don't feel the dish would've been much better. Wife's drunken noodles were supposed to contain basil. There was none in it. Looking at all the great reviews, it seems maybe there's a consistency issue here. Perhaps today was an off day. A lot of quality Thai places around though.
Nice restaurant and location right downtown Royal oak. . I have frequented thai restaurants everywhere for the last 25 years. Thiis place has Some of the best crab ragoon. Wing dings also pretty good. The sauce that comes with has a hint of sweet and spice, very tasty. I ordered the C1 curry. It came out a bit thin or watered down. Not being shy, I let them know i was disappointed. They told me I should order the C1 with more curry. They brought me out a new bowl. It was great. Great flavor. Ill be back. Place has really good service. Perfect date spot. The curry dish would be great to split with a noodle dish. Ill try that next time
Very authentic Thai food and decent atmosphere inside restaurant.
Some of the best curry dishes I've had in the US, plus really affordable and great portions!
The waitstaff were very friendly and attentive. They have really affordable lunch specials, and the food was really tasty!
I’m not sure what happened to my review so I will repost again. I ordered Kao Mun Gai and the chicken was so dry and hard to chew - kind of disappointing. Our table ordered a large size Tom Yum soup and they brought out a plastic bowl instead of the traditional Thai serving pot shown on their menu. Overall not a good Thai restaurant for Kao Mun Gai.
Got pad thai with tofu, and my friend got chicken green curry, and both were EXCELLENT, and truly authentic. The food was fresh and hot, and perfectly spiced... the staff was friendly and sweet. Definitely going back there, lots more!
Oh baby oh baby oh baby. I made sweet, sweet love to all the food I got yesterday. Tom Yum something soup, amazing. Pork explosion all over. The pork apps on the stick are like butter and melt like a hot lover's weekend in your mouth. The chicken sticks made me want to hug the creator. Amazing service. She went above and beyond to make sure I chose the right things. She also gave us flyers for an upcoming all you can eat event. It's on my birthday weekend. It's saved on my phone. I don't know if I'll eat for a day so I can eat all 9 hours there. I love this place. My girlfriend asked me at 7am if we should go back today. Soon. Did I say I love this place? Very good flavors, not very americanized. I can't do spice so mild is hot to me, so beware if you're similar.
420/69, would eat for the rest of my life. Every meal.
Ordered one of the "Chef's Specials," the "Chicken Pad Cashew Nuts and Veggie" - OMG. One of the best meals I've had ever in my life. So many wonderful veggies and the chicken was the perfect happy place betweeen sweet and tangy.
Also ordered two curry dishes. Everything was wonderful and a lot more veggies in the curry dishes than the menu suggests. I thought it would be just carrots, but it was loaded with everything!
Excellent food and service right in downtown Royal Oak!!! Highly recommend! We will be back!
I like this place, generous, they have food that won't set your mouth on fire and give you that novocain feel of super spice. The chicken drumsticks were amazing. The server was helpful and it's casual and fun. The only thing was that the food was a little on the salty side. Other than that, I like this new little gem.
Our family's favorite thai place in Metro Detroit! My husband is from Thailand, and he approves 😁 They serve some rare menus that you can't find in other thai restaurants in the area. Would recommend trying the papaya salad, skewed pork and the sticky rice for thai street food experience.
Charged dinner prices for lunch portion saying it’s the weekend. Lunch portion is still a lunch portion whether it’s a weekday or the weekend.
Everything so good, food is delicious😋
Good vegan options!
I wish I had taken pictures of the food. It smelled so good when I got it in the car, I started eating it IMMEDIATELY. This will definitely be my NEW SPOT for THAI FOOD.
Came here while visiting my family in Michigan. Not bad, but being from southern California, I've definitely had better Thai food. I had the Tom Yum Doo Dee and it was a little too salty for my taste, probably because the broth to noodles ratio was pretty low. The service was great though, and the decor is nice. But they play the news on the TV and it can be a bit of an atmosphere ruiner depending on what's being shown.
Authentic Thai taste! The dishes reminded me of eating in Bangkok. Must try their Pad Thai. Big thumbs-up.
Absolutely lived up to the hype. Delicious food, friendly staff, no-frills vibe. I will absolutely be coming back to try their lunch specials next!
Food is great but the mild was extra hot!
Outstanding food! One of my favorites!
TLDR : A taste of Thailand in our back doors! Wonderfully crafted, Beautifully authentic. 🇹🇭 ❤️
Kacha Thai Market offers an enchanting dining experience with its beautiful ambience, transporting guests to the heart of Thailand. The service is truly excellent, with attentive staff creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. As for the food, it's nothing short of fantastic – each dish bursts with authentic flavors, showcasing the chef's skill and dedication to delivering an unforgettable culinary journey. A definite five-star gem for Thai cuisine enthusiasts here in Royal Oak!
Food was DELICIOUS!
Laab is done traditional style and spice was perfect!
Service was amazing, cannot wait to go back 🙏🏻
Try the Thai Iced Tea!
Not as good as I expected after reading all the reviews… Got takeout. Portion is small and the beef noodle soup I got tasted just ok (not a lot of meat either).
Everything tasted right, also got a free lemonade 😊
This place is amazing! Fantastic food and sweet owners. The place is better than Pi’s Thai in my opinion. I wish it was closer to my place.
It’s the best Thai food I have eaten in Detroit and pretty much the entire country (and I travel a lot).
Only thing is it is spicier than average, and it would make sense to go one notch lower. So if you usually go for medium, go for mild plus instead.
Love this place! We really needed a top notch thai place in the metro area.
Thinking of going to which Thai place for lunch today or dinner tonight? Look no further, Kacha Thai Market it is!

I had such a lovely experience! The food was delicious, our waitress was so thoughtful and kind, and the atmosphere was clean, warm, and fun!
Great friendly service and excellent food! Glad to have this place in Royal oak
Had an amazing lunch here today. Can't wait to go back.

Pleasant atmosphere
Friendly staff
We had a wonderful experience. The Tom Yum Vegan was excellent. Then we went back for the Red Curry with Shrimp. Again, excellent.
We placed a mobile order for Pad Thai and Red Curry. Our food was ready quickly and the employees were very friendly when giving us our order. Both dishes were delicious. Our only criticism is that both needed more chicken (the protein we selected). We will definitely patronize Kacha Thai Market again.
Tried this spot yesterday and it was phenomenal. So amazing that I’m going back for dinner tonight. Pad Thai 10/10. Great service and the best Thai I’ve had in Michigan
Great food. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Hot was not quite as hot as I like it, but that's definitely personal. The pad see ew was fantastic. Great flavor!
We all know how hard it is to find a decent Thai restaurant. This is a fantastic addition to the options. And on top of that, there are some really interesting offerings I’ve never seen on other Thai restaurants (which are basically like your average Chinese restaurant but with coconut milk and curry). The brothy noodle dishes are so rich and flavorful. This is my new Thai go-to
If you want excellent Thai food, this is your place. The dishes are cooked perfectly with fresh vegetables and just the right amount of spice. They offer many vegan versions of menu items (not identified on menus). We had the massaman curry and driven noodle and they were delicious. The best Thai I've had that doesn't require an 18hr flight.
Good Service. Red curry seemed sweet from sugar more than coconut milk.
This is the very first and the best Thai place in metro Detroit. So excited to find this gem! Amazing food and lovely environment. The owners and staffs are super friendly and welcoming. We had Tiaw Nam Tok and Kang Kiew Wan, and it blew our mind! I’m sure everything on their menu would be great.
Food is good! Fast and friendly service! Clean environment.
Great food! The staff was extremely friendly and took the time to make sure you were comfortable. They were very accomodating for our baby. We ordered the green curry and BBQ pork, both we enjoyed. They told us that they home-make all their food. We loved the authentic feel of the restaurant.
Excellent, authentic Thai food. Ordered the Papaya salad, pork skewers, crispy pork belly, and Pad Thai. All ingredients were super fresh. Great flavors and spice. Service was quick and lovely! Priced fairly. Excited to come back and try more of the menu.
Great food. Great music. Great service. Can’t wait to come back!
Very good food!
This place absolutely knocked it out of the park. I haven't had Thai food like this since my honeymoon. We ordered the apple salad and Tom Yum soup (thai hot) and it didn't disappoint. There is no place in Michigan or even the US where I have eaten such authentic and delicious food. This is now up there with Takoi and Alchemi as my favorite local restaurants.
Food was excellent! An actual authentic Thai restaurant. Everyone was so polite and nice. Definitely coming back.
Everything was incredibly delicious! Some of the best Thai food I've had! I had never had Thai garlic fried rice, and it was great.
Fantastic authentic Thai meal. Very friendly service! We will be here all the time!!!!
First time there, got take out. Was delicious. Fast service and they brought me a water while I waited, unsolicited
Service was amazing. The food... it's hard to put into words how delicious it was. The first moment the flavors hit your taste buds it's like woah-thinking about it makes my mouth water. I wish I could eat here everyday. Grateful for the numerous vegan options.
Very pleasant restaurant. Authentic Thai food 👍
Really good! I have a thai friend who cooks amazing food, and I think she would say Kacha Thai's food is good as well.
Absolutely the best Thai food around here. The owner and chef does it all. We had the chance to talk to her and she really has brought authentic Thailand flavors to the US. Her passion for cooking and serving what “Thai food is” really shows in the dishes she serves.
If you have no yet given Kacha a try, GO TRY IT ASAP! You will not regret it!
Kacha is our go to Thai restaurant from now on.
Highly recommend!!!!!!
I’m indecisive. Sat down with 2 others after being acknowledged. Three more parties came in and were also sat down. The three parties were given water and their orders were taken. In the meanwhile, my party still sat with no one coming by. A person in my party had to stop an employee for assistance just to get the water that the other 3 parties were given immediately upon arrival.
When we finally got our order taken and received the food, it was delicious. We ordered several dishes from various parts of the menu and they tasted great. No photos unfortunately as we were starving at this point.
Overall, I suggest only ordering to-go here and judging for yourself. Not too fond of the service but the food is good enough for me to come back (but not dine in) and try again.
Small tiny restaurant but packs with flavors.
I think this is one of the Best Thai Restaurant in Michigan
Portion size is perfect. I mean we don’t need bigger portion and have to take leftover home.
Staffs very intensive and willing to go above and beyond.
Food come out good timing even though they are almost full on Sunday evening.
Recommend : Boat Noodle Soup, Hat Yai Fried Chicken
Fantastic options for vegans, great service, cute atmosphere, and a whole lot of awesome ladies running the joint! My husband and I are vegan so we asked quite a few questions and the staff was very helpful. She said they only use fish sauce in their papaya salad and apple salad. You can swap out the animal protein for tofu in many dishes. They have steamed tofu and brown rice if you’re looking for something a bit healthier. The dine in menu does not clearly state what is vegan but the staff will help you and the online ordering site clearly states which items are vegan (see menu photos). Our waitress recommend the curries so I’m going to try that next time, but I went with pad Thai because it has been ages since I had a good one. Vegan spring rolls were quite light and tasty and didn’t feel greasy. The tom yum soup was amazing! You could see large chunks of lemongrass, ginger, and Kaffir/makrut lime leaves. A real treat! I will be bringing back vegan and non-vegan friends to eat here very soon!
Was there last night and i think I have my new favorite Thai. Everything was delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly
Fantastic food and service. Great addition to Main St!
Checked out a new Thai place in Royal Oak today-Kacha Thai Market. I feel like so many Thai restaurants have gone downhill so it was great to find one I can easily say A+ to! Food was excellent. Pad see yew was the best I’ve had in years. Moo ping pork skewers are a highly recommend The dipping sauce is excellent with those too. They have a noodle soup menu. Tom yum Dee doo was great. Would order again happily. Service was excellent. Prices were very fair. Loved it, 10/10 will be back.
You guys.. my partner and I eat a lot of Thai food so trust my judgement. This food was AMAZING. Probably the best I’ve had. Another plus is that the atmosphere is great. The family who owns it is super sweet and the vibes are cute. Will be back!! :)
Great new addition to Royal Oak. The food is spot on and the customer service is even better. I can’t wait to go back!
Very excited to see Kacha was celebrating their grand opening this weekend! The food was absolutely wonderful and quite different from other Thai restaurants in the area. I was in love with the Som-Tum Platter, which is basically a papaya salad with a series of add-ins. Gang Keaw Warn (green curry) was brilliant. Crab Rangoon are generous and have a great crunch & flavor. Service was so friendly and very helpful. Can’t wait to go back.
The Pad Thai chicken was really delicious! The noodles were thin and cooked just perfect with a good amount of bean sprouts and tofu. It came with a side of crushed peanuts and dried chilli peppers.
I’ve just recently tried their food and it was so good! Papaya salad and the kaw mun kai were my favorite! The place is adorable with so many cute things to look at. They even have a section where you purchase keepsakes! The elephant keychain is adorbs!! Ok maybe I’m the only one obsessed with elephants. I can’t wait to go back and try more food.
This food is full of flavor and the choices are amazing! You can tell that they take pride in all their creations. My friend I ate with described it like "it feels like they give you a hug through their food!" Thai owned, decor is Thai, the music and atmosphere is amazing. Definitely a new hangout place for all of us! So friendly and welcoming!
Such a wonderful addition to downtown Royal Oak! We came on opening night and couldn’t have been happier with the food, service, and atmosphere. We had the fried chicken app, papaya salad, and pork drunken noodles. Everything was delicious, fresh, and truly was some of the best Thai food I’ve had in Michigan. The staff was so warm, kind, friendly and made you feel like part of their family. This will definitely be a regular spot and I’m excited to try more of the menu!
Food was delicious and different than a lot of other things opening these days, which was so refreshing! Such a great addition to the area, and it was fresh food that left me feeling good afterwards! The environment and staff was wonderful!
