We tried the extra, extra, extra hot chicken pad thai and it did not disappoint. We also had the green Curry, fried dumplings, and spring rolls which were also very tasty. The woman who greeted me was super friendly too! We will definitely be back!

However, a recent incident has left me extremely disappointed and reconsidering my patronage. The restaurant owner displayed an unexpected level of rudeness, raising her voice in an unwed manner, which was deeply disheartening.

The issue arose from an incorrect order, which differed from my usual choices. Upon calling to report the mistake, I was met with resistance instead of assistance. Even when the owner's son got involved, there was no resolution offered. The encounter was marked by an extreme lack of courtesy and rudeness, which I found so offensive!!! I asked the owner to please stop yelling and she continued to yell!!!

Given this unfortunate experience, I'd strongly advise considering alternative Thai restaurants for your dining needs. This recent incident has drastically changed my perception of Mr Thai restaurant. The owners are extremely rude and unprofessional. I would go to Bangkok Cuisine the service is amazing! Or Thai Fresh. This woman just needs to do better!

Any reatraunt that you cannot sit down and eat is absolutely ridiculous. Have some common sense and at least let people order carry out and sit down. As we left we ran into a couple who just experienced the same thing. If you serve carryout only make it very clear on your google listing. The world is just crazy.

This place is ridiculous I ordered veg fried rice and had chicken in there I am allergic to chicken when my husband called this place they want us to bring back and show them their mistake how insane it was snowing outside and he wanted us to come back to show his mistake seriously. 初めてのお店なのでいつも普通のパッタイをオーダーするのですが、何故かカレーパッタイにしてしまって後悔。ポークがちょっと冷凍臭かったのが気になった。仕方なしか？機会があったら普通のパッタイ食べたい。カレー美味しかった。

Best Thai food in the area! Authentic and fresh!!! I support those who go above and beyond delivering amazing food to their customers! I never leave reviews, but this food was worth it.

The moment I went here, a woman who I believe was the owner greeted me and was super friendly. She gave me a free spring roll on top of my order and let me just say there food is definitely made with love and quality over quantity. Best crab Rangoon I've had in a while, spring rolls and chicken satay were very tasty 😋 as was the egg drop soup. This is definitely going to be a go to place for me now. Pricing is affordable and the food is terrific 👌. Thank you for being such a great place, experience, and person. 😊

Best pad Thai I’ve ever had, super friendly and accommodating with vegetarian diets. I ask them to make it as spicy as possible and they deliver. Highly recommend!

The best thai food I ever had in the last few months. The chef was so sweet and when I asked for vegetarian option without fish sauce he immediately said he can do it. I order soup and basil fried rice. The taste was amazing. If you are looking for good thai food without any seafood, meat, eggs, fish or oyster sauce this place is for you.

Had shrimp wonton soup and chicken pad thai. I really really enjoyed the chicken pad thai very very delicious... I did find that the shrimp wonton was very garlicky and salty unfortunately. But definitely be coming back for more pad thai. Staff was was great and friendly.

I’ve been going here since they first opened and after moving back to the area I’m happy to say it’s still just as good as ever. Love the sweet chili noodles, drunken noodles, the various curry’s and fried rice dishes. They’re always quick and the food never disappoints. My family sometimes says medium is a bit hot but I like my dishes spicy so medium + to hot is my preferred spice level.

This has became our go to place for homemade food. It is very rarely that you come across food that is simple, tasty and touches your soul at the same time. We have been ordering take out from Mr Thai for 4 years almost once or twice a month, and the food has always been great.

Not only are the people so friendly they are very good at what they do! This place is about 20 minutes from my house but I can't drive past it without stopping it's definitely my top chicken Pad Thai place! The crab rangoon is really good as well I started getting and don't quote me on this but it's something called pad thai Voonsen. It's just like the pad thai only instead of the pad thai noodles it has glass noodles and it's absolutely delicious and I get a side of peanut sauce and put it on and it is definitely hot if you get hot and sometimes hot when you get mild LOL but if you like Pad Thai This Is The Place To Go top place for sure enjoy then don't forget to tip

Tried this place again, after years, as my nephew swears by the pad thai. Red curry mild is spicy and has too much basil. Soup was a nice surprise with fresh cilantro, but it too was spicy. I like spice, but not when it overwhelms the flavor. Son says he doesn't want the basic fried rice again, prefers our regular other places. Very nice staff for my carry out tho. Clean and prompt

New to the area and tried this for this first time, and it was delicious! We got Tom-Ka, crab rangoons, pad Thai, and basil stir fry. All of the food was spot on, the wait time was minimal, and everyone was very kind. Glad we found a good go-to Thai spot!

Best red curry I have had in south east Michigan. You have to add extra veggies, but the flavor is the best you can get. One order can easily feed 2.

I’m going to give you guys 5 star for the food it was fantastic I ordered cashew chicken and pepper steak i called at 7:00 and they close at 9 I asked to get rice with the cashew chicken and noodles with the pepper steak and the cook told me it takes too long to make noodle so you have to go with rice for both like come on dude it doesn’t take that long to cook noodles I understand you cook a lot of rice and you want to get rid of it all. I will definitely order again but you better have enough time to cook me some noodles 😤

I tried ordering online, but the online format was tricky and it wanted me to download some thing on my phone that I did not want to download so I decided to call and place my order instead. I accidentally ordered the wrong thing so well on the phone I corrected myself and apologized for any confusion since the woman didn’t speak great English and then tried to order the correct item. The lady tried to interrupt me multiple times during ordering and once I corrected my order she told me I should not call but to order online only. I told her I could try and order online but that I would have to download some thing on my phone and I didn’t wanna do that so I decided to call instead. She was very rude to me so I ended up ending the call. She then called me back and answer the phone rudely and said “really?” In a condescending tone to me and then made sure to cancel my order. I am sure the food is good and would’ve loved to of had it but the bad service and rude person on the phone deterred me from ever getting food from here.

Very good Thai food. I've had others and have been disappointed but this met and exceeded by expectations. I haven't been able to see ladna on menus since moving away from my favorite Thai place but this place had it! If was super tasty just wish there was more noodles. They definitely take their spice here seriously. My boyfriend get a mild green curry fried rice and it was really spicy (still delicious just spicier than we had expected). If you're looking for actually mild food I'd ask while ordering. My medium ladna was the perfect amount of spice.

Really good food and portions. The schezwan chicken was very flavorful. The sweet chili noodles and the thai basil stir fry were the best. Grab Rangoon done well not under stuffed like most. The consistency for the tom yum soup was great and includes spice levels. Extra hot has a little kick to it better than some places. Highly recommend and there are dishes on the menu alot of other places done have.

Best Thai food around here. After trying several other local joints this is where I have settled down to soothe my Thai cravings. Carryout is typically very fast 15-20 mins even on Fridays. Most clients are carryout, so if you want to sit in, it's usually open and quiet. My experience is dinner 6-8pm.

I just went there for the first time. The Pad Thai with chicken was delicious! The food is very affordable and they have quick service. I will be back there again!

I had Mr. Thai last week, and that night I got super sick. Cold sweats, stomach pain, diarrhea, shaking. My friend had it with me, and got even more sick then me, vomiting as well.

Wonderful restaurant with a lovely environment. Very cozy. The wait staff has always been extremely friendly with us. The food had always come in a very timely manner. The taste of the food has been great. The level of spice advertised vs delivered matches better than most Thai food places.

Frozen vegatables yuk. Dried out cheap rice yuk yuk. Chicken is like tyson freezer style reheated. Service was terrible. The appitizer soup was like eating salad dressing. 7 out of us didn't eat it. No one asked for us to order drinks until we were all into the meal. Also 2 orders were incorrect and gave us hard time because they said they have bad English they state. Bill was a mess. Menus were sticky, tables were gross. I had flys on my area when dining. This is not Thai food do you even have a clue? I will never be back. This was my 2nd time and not going to be giving the word out positively. Get it together. I ate less than half out of courtesy. Paying for it was fun because I knew I was leaving. I felt bad stomach ache when I left and still do. Tums to rescue. Go ahead and take a look into the kitchen if you dare.

Food is good but hot even if you order mild

After being assured many times that they were making items vegan for me I learn that there weren’t. I’d get it if I hadn’t been clear. I was even told it would be “je” a common thai term for vegan.

We love the unique flavor of their gravy.

We don't live in the area n were just passing through and took a gamble. We were hesitant as it was empty besides us. The food was so fresh n delicious. Everything cooked perfectly n the staff was super friendly. As we ate it began to fill up n lots of carryouts came n went. Clearly a great local staple. My hubby even wants to keep it on the list approved for the drive as Wixom doesn't have thai.
