Twisty Thai
Drop by today.
Small place but good food. Good curry. I tried their Gang Gai or chicken red curry, which was sweet and good. It tastes like it suppose to taste. I also had Pad thai which tasted correct. No issues.
Good to know I have a Thai restaurant a block from my work. Excellent.
Hmong family owned which is good. Hmong can run good thai restaurants. Keep up the quality!
I also wanted to advise that my coworkers also ate food here too. He said the previous owners food was bad. The new owners have a richer flavor. Better taste.
Highly recommended
Been wanting to try this place for a few months now & finally got the chance to go today & it didn't disappoint! I got an egg roll, which was delish & their Twisty Chicken. For a $14 meal, I felt it was well worth the cost. The chicken was lightly breaded with sliced carrots, onions, broccoli & pineapple (I know, sounds weird, but it was really good!). It also came with jasmine rice, which was tasty. Seeing as I'm on meal #2 from it & will get a third meal, I thought the price was well worth the amount of food I received. Looking forward to going back soon.
Surprisingly good food!
Pad See Ew was very good!
The Crispy Roll were mediocre at best, but the pineapple sauce for them was good.
Fast and friendly service.
This was my first time trying this restaurant, I ordered some spicy noodles with chicken and Tum Yum soup with shrimp since I wanted something authentic. The food was beyond delicious. BEST SOUP I HAVE EVER HAD. Plus, the noodles were really good. highly recommended
"The drunken noodles 🍜 😋 We're perfect 👌
They increased their prices substantially over the course of a few months, ridiculous
Twisty rice went from 12$ to 15$
small but indicates greed

Always delicious and fast. Best Thai food around.
Clean your dining room! Wash and windex your windows.
Best food I’ve ever had 10 out of 10 must try again
Surprisingly good food!

delicious !!!!
Food was great! Everything was fresh and hot. Friendly service as well. Highly recommend
So delicious! Also so much food. My pad ped fed me four times!
Have gotten take out from here many times and have never been disappointed. My favorite is the peanut curry, my husband loves their pad thai.
The twisty noodle dish was excellent. My first time there will definitely be back.

I did an online order of 5 meals for pick up at a later time and it went perfect. The orders were all correct and the whole family loved it. I must say it’s the best tai food we’ve ever ordered and the only reason we went to this one was because our original place was closed that day. We will now be switching places as they have our old place beat on flavor and service. Thank you Twisty Tai! Oh and the egg rolls were so good too!
I am Thai , so I am super picky about Thai food , the food here is spot on when it comes to taste Everything about twisty Thai is wonderful !
This place has the best thai food north of Hall Road I've found.
They have an interesting menu. So far I'm liking their curry dishes. I hope they can make a go of it. This area needs a place like this.
I’m not a big Thai food fan. I picked something up for my husband. It was the chicken peanut curry medium spiced. It was delicious.
Compliments to the chef excellent food.
Yummy!! Best Thai food in the area! Will definitely be eating here more often!
This food is amazing really love it.
I wanted to try and man it was a bomb.
Really good food I recommend it.
So disappointed with this service will never order here again ever
This Thai food is great. I got the Twisty fried rice and... definitely go here and give it a try. A++

Went to this take out for the first time and ordered pad thai - peanut. It was overtly sweet, so I called to let them know. They did nothing to remedy the order- only gave the excuse " that's just the way we make". Sad that customer service wasn't good. Also, spring rolls are supposed to have chicken in them, and you can barley taste any - mostly cabbage. Lastly, I've been to may Thai places and authentic thai peanut is not sweet. This was almost sickly sweet. They just lost a new customer.
Best egg rolls I’ve ever had. Ordered chicken pad Thai and fried rice..it was very delicious. Definitely recommend. New favorite place
It's been so long since I had some authentic Thai food
Seafood combo with white rice is amazing! 🙃Ordered pickup & our food was ready timely within the 20 minutes they estimated over the phone.
If you’re ordering online, do not expect the pictures to be what you receive you were receive whatever they decide to put in your box. The pictures are deceiving it is not what it even looks like. We eat here every week since they have opend we will not be back dont waste your time and go to this place.
Pad Thai was absolutely incredible! Great amount of food for the price and it is the best pad Thai I have had until you start getting into the real fancy places in Detroit. Will definitely be going back!
Quick, hot and good flavor. Heat was just right.
So good love the food will be going here often!!!
I wanted some crab raggoon and egg rolls. They were out of egg rolls for the day at 2pm. So I got spring and crispy rolls instead. Paid $26 for basically a small snack and the rolls were mid at best. This is my second and last time trying the place, first time my Entrees were flooded with watered down sauce. If you want bang for your buck and better food leongs 21 a few miles away is still a better choice.
Best Thai restaurant I’ve gone to, friendly waitstaff and the food is delicious! I’d recommend everyone come here!!
Amazing food and great customer service. After a few times of getting take out they unfortunately forgot sauce for our 2 orders of crab Rangoon. They were slammed and were only taking cash because their readers were down. I called up just to make sure they weren't out of the sauce before driving back up. They apologized. When I got there just expecting to get our 2 sauces but they gave me both sauces and and extra crab Rangoon with sauce and apologized again.
Love this place!! Best Thai in the area!! Must try if it’s in your delivery area!!
The first time I went there I ordered the chicken fried rice mild
It was amazing food
The owners are very polite and very professional
I would highly recommend this place
The service and food were outstanding.
The food is great! We had the pad se ew, fried rice and pad Thai, all of it was awesome!
Food was fire! So glad new owners took over! Highly recommend if you’re looking for good authentic Thai food!!
Very Good Thai food! Very friendly!
It was okay. Not very flavored to my liking. Expensive. The people are incredibly kind. I probably won't come back
We are so happy to have Twisty Thai in the area. There is a lot of mediocre Thai food around, but the dishes we tried here were delicious. This is definitely our new go to Thai place.
The seafood curry and crab rangoon was great!
Fast and friendly service. Food was fantastic.
Highly Recommended!!
I have to say, I am seldom surprised, but this place surprised me. I tried Twisty Thai first early this year (2023) - I believe they had opened back in April or something... (just a general guesstimate as I cannot remember exactly). New Haven is a small town, and I love trying new things that pop up here. Unfortunately, sometimes these places do not last very long. This place seemed to go the same route. Wow, the food sucked! I am a snob when it comes to food so I do not often give food five stars... but, I was raised old school and will usually clean my plate if I can or at least keep what is left for leftovers. This food was so bad that I ate less than a quarter and had to dump the rest. The Pad Thai sucked, there was no sauce... only a piece or two of the protein... etc. Everything else I ordered was the same. A couple of weeks later the location closed and did not open again.
Fast forward to now... I had thought the business went under... maybe it was just for sale or going through a re-organization. A couple of weeks ago I noticed that the restaurant was open again. I then started seeing many positive reviews on Facebook. After a bit of follow up, I heard the place had changed owners or something. OK... my "go-to" Thai place is Phuket Thai on 23... but I figured with all the hype around this place I would try it again...
Again, I was shocked! The food was amazing. I ordered Pad Thai medium plus spicy with extra egg and fried tofu... there was so much protein it has surprised me... there was a perfect amount of egg... everything about the dish was shockingly perfect, right down to the amount of bean sprouts and peanuts!!! We tried crab Rangoon... again, perfect shape, perfect crunch (even in a carry out order), really tasty!
If you are in the mood for Thai food, I highly recommend this place. I don't know what happened, if there was a change in ownership or what, but I can wholeheartedly recommend this place without reservation.
Just tried it for the first time today and it was absolutely incredible! Ordered chicken pad Thai and twisty noodles, both amazing! I’m a HUGE Thai fan and can be pretty picky, but this passed with flying flags! Will be ordering again….. and again and again and again! Great food and great customer service!
First time there. Ordered it for delivery. I called to ask about a minor alteration for me and they were super nice and had no problem doing it. I ordered it medium spice because I understand Thai tends to be very spicy, and it was perfect. The food was soooo good, super fresh and full of flavor. I don’t understand any negative reviews. I’ve had Thai from so many places ( not Thailand lol) but throughout this country and this place seemed pretty authentic to me!! I’m picky unfortunately and I was impressed! Highly recommend this place:)
Finally a Thai restaurant that has good fresh food. Fried rice was great!! Red Curry was fantastic!! New owners are on the right track! Kudos!
A 100 percent better than the last Thai restaurant! The crispy chicken roll and chicken Pad Thai was awesome!
Went for the first time. They were so nice. The food was excellent. Diffidently will be going alot.
Food is amazing. Ordering online is super easy. The place is decorated super cute.
Pad Thai is delicious, heed their word when they say it's hot. Shrimp Rangoon is to die for w sauce, the crab Rangoon though has very thick not really crispy outside, their big which I like but they really need to change the wrap, im not the only one who has said that. People are awesome and they are opening a sushi bar next door.
Awesome chicken curry fried rice. Excellent heat. Lots of flavor.
Great local Thai food.
Nice folks, but this is not authentic at all. Probably ok for New Haven farmers, but not if you love thai food.
I absolutely love this place.
Rice dishes are very good. A bit on the spicy scale for first timers. Best Thai around, and we have been to a lot of places.
Met a young man that was so “Thankful” for us stopping by and asked when opening day is. He said “TUESDAY” ! I cannot wait!
Omg the best Thai I've had in years. Had the soup hot. #40 beef hot+ and #45 chicken medium. Order down a spice. The medium chicken is equal to hot + everywhere else. Fresh vegetables & very tasty.
The food was excellent. The shrimp fried rice and the curry chicken were delicious.
This is pad seew, where is the brown sauce? Taste just like it looks, plain noodles with broccoli and some spice. First time there and won’t be back. Too many good Thai restaurants in that area.
Worst Pad Thai we have ever had. Just awful.
They delete your comments. Had plastic in my food don't eat here!
Great food. Eggs rolls are delicious!!!!!!
Great food, great people, one dinner feeds 2 with some leftover for lunch. Definitely worth a try
The food is tasty, but incredibly overpriced. I ordered Pad Thai beef, with extra beef (for an extra $2) and the amount of beef I got was pathetic, maybe 3 ounces. On top of that they charged a $1.50 convenience charge - not sure what that's about, it's definitely more than the credit card surcharge you sometimes get a smaller locations, which is usually 2-3%. This was closer to 10%. All total my Pad Thai was $18.85, though I admit I did tip (which I almost always do at smaller places when I get carryout),. Unlike when I get Chinese, there was not enough for (even the noodles) for a second meal. I doubt I'll go back.
It's just okay.
Well the one in Richmond seems to always make my food right. Just got it again today after the last 2 times my noodles were over cooked. The pad Thai, fried rice, and egg rolls I got were over cooked today. Fried rice was dry and had no flavor. Seemed like day old rice. Both orders of pad Thai were super over cooked as well and my chicken egg rolls were so dry. Go to the Richmond one. The new haven one doesn’t have the same consistency
Very tasty! Will definitely order again!
It's OK Nothing special
The food was really good.
