Really great Thai food in downtown Milford. Ever since dining here we’ve been back for carry out at least once a week. Chicken pad Thai is fantastic and food always comes out fast. Carry out portions are very generous so I can always look forward to dinner and a lunch the next day from one order. Highly recommend!

Local resident here in Milford. My family orders take out on a regular basis. The food quality and the service are both top notch. Very consistent as well. I see no reason to ever look for another Thai restaurant. So happy to have these great folks in our neighborhood!!

The N10 Peanut Curry Noodle is my all time favorite! Can’t help but get some Krab Rangoon (appreciate that they use imitation crab as I’m allergic to crustacean) and spring rolls too. Their plum sauce is so good! I still make the 25 minute drive out to them for take out ever since we moved out of Milford to get some take out because I crave it all the time!

I eat here weekly, it’s extremely good. The chefs special fried rice is a favorite, also the peanut curry noodle and the green curry. The staff are really friendly and the food is always delicious.

Came in at peak dinner time, about 7:00 pm on Friday night. Lots of takeout customers (3-4) waiting. Five of the ten tables were full 3-4 people each. Food was well prepared and the timing was good. About a 90 minute experience. Read about the dishes in the captions. We’ll be back!

Wow, what an amazing place. It's been a while since I had Thai cuisine that is this good. I ordered the red curry and it was phenomenal. The sweetness comes through with a tangy flavor due to the bell peppers. The peanut noodle curry was also scrumptious. It was just the right amount of peanuts taste. The waitress made us feel very welcome and right at home. Would definitely recommend to anyone and come back again.

USED to be my go-to Lunch spot when in Milford. NO LONGER. This restaurant just LOST A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE. Been to this restaurant dozens of times. Walked in alone this time. Sat at ONLY available table/booth. 3 walked in AFTER me and establishment specifically states "no resevations" . Waitress asked me to get up and wait so that those three customers could sit at MY table. I got up. I will tell everyone I know to AVOID THIS DUMP due to the crappy experience. You couldn't PAY ME to eat in this dive again. ABSURD and ASININE based on their "no reservations" policy. Will speak to management when I have time. I generally spend more $$ on lunch here than the Average TWO customers. Actively will advise others to avoid this place.

I’m so glad I found my spot close to home like I had before! Staff is always so nice and starting to recognize me! Hot ‘n sour soup, spring rolls and chicken fried rice add broccoli 🥦 (mild) yum!

Best Thai food around, even if I do only order one of 2 dishes every time. Service is always great and friendly. Staff makes you feel comfortable and no rush to order, and the food does comes out pretty fast too. Live this place. Spicy too...if you want.

Regular lunch spot for me. Curry dishes and fried rice are best I've had. Good value, as well. Top notch Thai cuisine IMO.

Great spring rolls. The chicken was really big. Which is good for some ppl. I prefer the smaller pieces but it was cooked well and tasted good

This is my favorite Thai resurant. I go for lunch sometimes and it is outstanding. I love the curry with onions and fried potatoes. The sauce is slightly sweet and just outstanding. The potatoes are cooked crispy. And for 10 dollars at lunch it is a super bargain. I strongly recommend this for anyone who enjoys Thai food!

My husband and I tried this place for the first time tonight. We got the angel noodle with chicken , and the hot and sour chicken soup. We wanted an order of fresh rolls but they were out. Which was a bummer because that’s what we wanted to try this place for. The spice level and the flavor of the angel noodle was delicious but the noodles were underdone and there was very little chicken and portion was smaller than dinner sizes at other Thai restaurants we’ve been too. For $15.99 both of us agreed we wouldn’t get it again. The soup was also not hot or sour and there was no chicken visible to us in it. 👎🏼

Quiet, peaceful, best soy sauce with my chicken and rice that I've ever had.

Stoped by for lunch , got the noodle soup ( which is literally out of a box and added hot water to it , superrr salty ) and the curry pad Thai which was super bland. The place looks dirty and outdated. Definitely don’t recommend!

Outstanding Thai, definitely the best around this entire area. I really like the location, service and atmosphere too. Very comfortable. 9 out of 10 times, I dine in because it's a fun experience to hang out in Milford.

Great Thai food. I've tried a couple different things and all have been great! Not quite as good as our favorite Thai place, but still delicious with average prices and serving sizes.

It's just a little hole-in-the-wall kind of place, but the food and the service is excellent! Very friendly and accommodating.

This was recommended to us by several neighbors and we finally tried it. Tastes very good. But we both had the feeling the sauce was missing. But overall great food and would come back.

Food is fantastic! The gentleman, At the register double checked to make sure everything was there, which is wonderful. There’s nothing worse than getting home and missing half of your meal!

Glad we have a local, decent Thai restaurant. Here are the dishes we order and they are all good. Vegetable fried rice, pad Thai, sweet and sour chicken, buddahs delight Tofu, and the chicken dish with the basil. Oh, and the spring rolls are good too. Shop locally. Let's keep these places around.

The best Thai I've found!

I got the veggie pad thai mild+, crab rangoons, & veggie spring rolls. All were amazing & fresh. Food was ready for carry out in <15 minutes. I tried this place out just based on google reviews alone & I would say it’s definitely worth it!

We’ve been going here for years! one of our favorite take out spots in milford - we love the fresh rolls, pad sai ew, pad thai, chicken satay, crab rangoon, the fried rice, you can’t go wrong with anything! they’re always so kind and ask us how we’ve been and always have amazing service for either carry out or in restaurant service!

I placed an order for the first time and was told it would be a 30 minute wait. I said okay and showed up 30 minutes later, but was told it would be another 15 minutes. Their were 4 other people in front of me when I arrived. This is way too much time for me to waste on a carryout restaurant. I don't care how good your food is, misquoting people on when the food is ready is a deal breaker. I won't be wasting my time here again.

I had a great experience here. It was our first visit to Bangkok city Thai and we will definitely be returning. The food was delicious and there are plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options. My son had basil fried rice with fried tofu and I had a pud thai dish that had a had a creamy peanut Curry sauce gluten free. Delicious. The vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly. It was a lot of food, enough for two, but it was so good I ate it all. LOL! The atmosphere is warm, small and cozy but not crowded. That works for me. Not into crowds much anymore. There was a few other people dinning in but looks like they do a lot of carry out business. There was a pretty steady stream of people coming in to pick up food. One unisex restroom with plenty of room for wheelchair access. Can't recall if there were handrails. Very clean. It's a 45 minute drive from where I live but well worth the trip.

Have been many times before. Always recommended to others. This time. Water was plunked down and we were asked you know what you want? No chance to order a drink. We ordered 2 dishes, one not labeled spicy and specified very mild came so hot after a couple bites my mom ended up throwing up. My pad Thai was great as usual, but with no opportunity to order a drink, poor service and no one checking to see if the food was right and no boxes offered till we were more than ready to leave ten minutes past, I wouldn't recommend any longer. Super disappointed. Left 3/4 full plates of food. Gastrointestinal symptoms started before we left the restaurant.

Portion sizes are terrible for what you pay. $14 dollars for 4 little chicken balls and 2 scoops of rice, seriously... go somewhere else, this place is a rip off big time. BTW, the chicken is 90 percent breading. This place is terrible.

I live in Houston, TX now but when I recently visited Michigan I drove an hour one way to get to this place I used to frequent often. It’s still so freaking good, I love it.

This is my first time eating at this Thai food restaurant. It is hands down the best in the area. I drove a half an hour for take out and it was well worth it. Will definitely be eating here again!

The restaurant itself is small and seems a little dated but it didn't matter to us. Three of us had lunch there today. The person who seated us and brought our menus and then the server were both very friendly and kind. We each ordered a curry/rice dish. Mine was the Buddha's Delight with Tofu-medium spice. It was absolutely fresh and delicious. Perfect amount of heat for me, the coconut curry was so silky and flavorful. This was my first time trying this place and I would definitely come back again to try some other types of dishes!

This is where I was introduced to Thai food 5 years ago. To this day I have NOT found a Thai food restaurant that even comes close to this on. I have tried but failed! I love this place. Now my wife loves this place and it is at least 20 miles from home and we are happy to drive there JUST for their food!

Food is amazing and a good bang for your buck. We have tried numerous dishes here and so far have never been disappointed. The peanut sauce is a family favorite and all the dishes with eggplant are just scrumptious. The spice level indicators are also very fair. I like spicy and my fiance does not, so the ability to adjust the spice and it be accurate is very nice.

It was good Thai food

The food was very good. The ingredients were fresh and was not oily. You have a choice of heat. Mild plus was my choice. I'm glad I did not go higher. The spice did not overwhelm the food. I will be b eco again.

Bangkok City used to be wonderful. So very sad at the present situation with the food. Absolutely terrible our last 2 experiences. I am not sure if there are new owners but the quality of food is not what it used to be.

I always grab the Chicken Pad Thai to go. Nice portion and the flavor is there. Prices are comparable.

A little pricey but worth it. Their Pad Thai Chicken is great. And all of their fried rices ( chicken, pork seafood etc) are plentiful and best I've had in a long time.

This is the second time I've been here with my family. They offer their dishes to be catered for vegans which is a serious plus! I got The Buddha Bowl and some vegetarian spring rolls and it was delicious! The service was friendly! I got medium+ like last time. I am thinking that I'm probably going to up the spice level to hot next time and see how that goes. ☺️

Really good food, but they are currently takeout only. For something new to us, my wife tried the shrimp roll appetizer which we have ever had anywhere before. They were excellent and full of good flavors. Pad Thai is excellent as expected. Everything we ordered was very fresh and excellent flavors.

Bangkok City has been a consistent favorite in Milford for years! Pre-pandemic it was common to find the restaurant packed (especially during lunch time during the work week), because everyone who knows the area knows that Bangkok City provides a great combination of value and taste.

One of the great hallmarks of Bangkok City is that they reliably provide a good amount of spice if you're looking for it (they have a number of options ranging from Mild to Extra Hot). Outside of that, they've got a diverse menu with all of the classic favorites, and a few with some interesting spins as well. The lunch menu is a solid amount of food for a single meal, and with the dinner entree proportions, you'll easily have enough food for 2 meals.

Mid-pandemic, Bangkok City is doing takeout only, but they make the process pretty seamless -- phone in your order, and swing by to pick it up. Every time I've gotten takeout from Bangkok City since the start of COVID, food is ready for pickup within 30 minutes and the staff is good about making sure folks are wearing masks and distancing within the restaurant as well.

Overall, Bangkok City is a great value and provides a great option for Thai food in Milford!

This place is hidden away and if you didn't know it was there you could miss it. Must try, kow pad and crispy roll.

Every single time I have ordered takeout from Bangkok City Thai in Milford it has been delicious. They have the best Thai food around; the quality, flavor, and value just can’t be beat. My favorite go to is the Thai Fried Rice or Pad Se Ew. Their staff is always so friendly and picking up the takeout is always quick and easy!

Never had a bad experience here. The food is always great and the service is friendly. Probably going to order tonight!

Having lived in Thailand for 10 years I have high expectations for Thai food. This place is as authentic as I have found since being back. Spice levels are great and consist.
