Fast casual take-out
This is the go to Thai place for lunch! Great people and they treat you like family. The food is AUTHENTIC and tasty! Spice levels you can manage, just let them know what you want. I recommend the Singapore noodles! You cannot go wrong with Drunken noodles or Pad Sew E. The salad is really good. They make a homemade dressing and Thai Tea that is also amazing. Vegans- this is YOUR PLACE!!
TL;DR This place got me sick, don't eat here.
I went in with my wife last week and ordered the pineapple red curry w/ chicken. My wife got the steak salad. We also ordered some appetizers, but they were never fulfilled. My plate came and the sauce was not piping hot, and was a pale orangish yellow. It had some green peppers that did not jive with the dish, and were undercooked. The chicken itself was microwaved, it tasted a little rubbery yet also undercooked. I only ate about 1/3rd before I couldn't anymore. The next day I had THE WORST bowel movements I've had, and was bed ridden all day. Also, my wife got some tea- and they served the pot with only one tea bag and luke warm water.
Save your money and your guts...go somewhere else.
AMAZING customer service. Mox is super kind and knows what he’s doing. If you want some great Thai food, definitely come here.
This place is a fun take on traditional Thai. It isn't just your classic Thai dishes, there are some twists. The drunken noodles are absolutely delicious. I ordered it hot, and it was what I'd consider close to Thai hot. The place isn't decorated lavishly like many Thai restaurants, in fact it's very plain. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes.
I tried the Thai green curry here for lunch one day and was pretty happy with it. I was served quite quickly, and the staff seemed friendly. My meal was decently sized and tasted quite nice. I got the medium heat, although I feel like I should’ve gone spicier. The coconut milk and curry paste gave a great flavor to the chicken and vegetables. The interior of the restaurant is fairly basic, but the food makes up for it. It’s worth a try if you like Thai food.
They haven't fully recovered from the pandemic but I continue to get great food and service here!

Great food, tried multiple dishes and they're all good.
Delicious Thai food and great service! Lots of vegetarian options. Highly recommend and will be coming back again.
I usually go to the Rockford location. First and last time ever going here. No taste at all and the chicken was slimy 😩 chicken egg roll is not good either. Thumbs down. Rockford is 100 times better. There is purple stuff on my chicken in the egg roll. If I could post a picture I definitely would
The green curry is amazing!
Lovely place to eat lunch hidden away from the hustling 28th street at a secluded corner. Noodles were tasty. Pricing was good.

lunch here was kinda meh.
This food slaps
Great little, no-frills and no-pretentiousness Thai place. Friendly staff, accommodating atmosphere, great flavors. Definitely worth while.
The food was really good and affordable, I'll be back here every time I'm in town.
Great food. Very consistent and hot means HOT! 🔥
A secret known to the locals! Great Thai food! Their spice levels are accurate and everything is delicious.
Great food, wonderful place.
We always take out so I can’t speak to that aspect, however, I visit the GR area at minimum twice a year and the entire family always wants to get Thai Fusion‼️
We’ve tried others in the area and nobody can beat the quality regardless of price!!
Thank You, Thai Fusion!!
Great lunch every time
Very tasty and flavorful and plenty of it. The service was prompt. The atmosphere, well there isn’t any, but that will not deter me from returning.
I used to go to Thai Fusion often pre-COVID. Amazing food. However, once they shut down their dine-in, I noticed the food completely changed and wasn’t good like it used to be. I ordered yesterday. I always ordered the masaman and I remember their sauce used to be super creamy, now it’s watered down. Their spring rolls were so greasy, there was a pool of grease at the bottom of the bag and I had to soak off the grease with napkins before I could eat it and when I did I tasted the bad flavor of oil. I also never was able to really eat the masaman because the rice that came with it had these brown goopy spots throughout. Not sure what they were. I threw away the entire meal. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat. So sad to see how things have changed.
Favorite Thai place in town. Consistently good!
First time trying this location. I have the peanut curry. Medium spice was perfect! This dish was delicious!
Food is to die for, service is great, location is amazing all around 10 out of 10.
Best pad Thai in town!
Ok but people ask for mild still is really spicey
Despite only having 1 host for every table, food service was fast and everything was amazing, especially their coconut ice cream and Thai iced tea.
It isn't always worth spending the extra money for drinks and desserts at restaurants, but I would sincerely recommend doing it here.
My favorite Thai restaurant for take out or dine-in. Everything is tasty and the service is great. Clean and fairly priced. I always get the Veg spring rolls.
Ordered through Doordash and never received food!
Place is never open as advertised.
They do not have dining in.. If you call, take out the container. Your silver ware is plastic dining in... Bad service..
Food was good, came out fast, was good and got!
Very good pad thai, sweet friendly staff, nice environment. Love it 💚
Used to be great, now its just terrible, Got sick from their food.
Looks like they are re-using disposable plastic takeout boxes . Slimy meat.
Food was great and the people were nice too.
House Special Fried Rice - Hot. My go-to dish, that doesn't disappoint those fans of spicy thai food.
Drunken Noodles were great
They only had take out. Food is wonderful!!
Carry out only but delicious.
Authentic Asian Food
I’ve been trying to find truly spicy food around GR. Gave Thai Fusion a shot and requested they “make me regret” the spicy-ness of my drunken noodles. I’m now finishing my meal with tears running down my face and I love every minute of it. A++
I ordered the pad thai chicken and 2 veggie rolls. The pad thai was not good at all. The noodles were over cooked and the chicken was slimy and odd looking. The was barely any eggs in there. It was disappointing to say the least. The veggie rolls were ok but not great. I was excited to try this place and one of my favorite dishes. Bangkok taste downtown tops this by far. Sad that I spent $20 on food that I couldn't find appetizing or appealing at all.
Food was amazing! Got a pork pad Thai and it was everything I expected. Food was completed on time! Experience was everything you would expect.
Bummed it's take out only now. But still one of the best Thai places around!
Not what I ordered, buy taste is always good.
I have switched from Chinese to Thai food. I love there food. It just tastes better!!
Great service, great food!
Food was excellent. We had to take out coz they were not open for dine in ..Food was cooked within 10 min n it was delicious .
Worst restaurant ever. Food is half cooked/they also use frozen ingredients which they are not even able to warm up properly , bad quality food and hair in your meals. No refund for anything they sell you. Avoid this place unless you want to get a food poisoning.
I am forever loyal to this place. My favorite is the fried rice selections. The veggie spring rolls are so good! There is only takeout now due to COVID which is cool with me because the quality of the food once I get it home is the same. Be sure to ask about spice levels because Thai spice is no joke. You don’t want to overdo it. Highly recommend!
Decent food, nothing particularly outstanding, but pretty good. Portions are mid-sized to smallish, not offensively so, but you can get your food fairly spicy here, which is nice. Ingredients seemed good, it isn't the usual sugar infused stuff for the meat and potatoes crowd, but it's generic enough for the spice averse. Wide range in that regard.
I'm not really a fan of the whole "fusion" trend, usually just means they use a lot of generic stuff to make things halfway between styles of food, but they have real enough Thai to soothe that craving without being too adventurous. Good place to go for a quick bite.
Staff were courteous and friendly, went for pickup a few times during lockdown times.
Not very good. My dish (fusion house special) tasted like plastic, and my husband’s masuman curry didn’t have much flavor and obviously had frozen veggies in it. Pretty disappointing.
Great food and very fast!
Curry fried rice was really good. Went for dine in but only doing take out. Would be nice to have known that prior.
Food here was delicious and great portion size as well...
I used to like this location and ate here often, but they must have changed chefs or something. Seems like the quality and taste have recently declined or recipes have changed. It just isn't as good as it used to be. It's still ok but there are better options in the general area.
Worse pad Thai ever. I asked for shrimp they give me 5 dinky pieces, no green onions, no bean sprouts. C'mon it's Thailand's national dish. What a disgrace. Never again for my family.
Good, good food
Are these guys still open? I've called three different days during the business hours listed on their website and nobody ever answers.
Always so delicious (: one of my staples
Spiciest food I've had in Grand Rapids, and I love spicy food. Very tasty and affordable too.
This is now one of our favorite place to get quick fix for dimsum.
Quite selection of dimsum, like siumay, stuffed tofu/eggplant/bell pepper, fried shrimp balls, variety of buns. Family favorite is the sesame balls & my hubby likes the chicken feet. Their Roast Duck is really good!
Good food, reasonable price & good service.
Delicious food and quick, friendly service
I liked this restaurant a lot before covid. Recently I ordered food, the portions are smaller, I don’t mind that cause I can’t finish the whole thing anyway. But the food taste very different from how it was before. Overall they’re still better than the others Thai restaurant in town.
Tasty food, maybe a little bit small on the portion size for the price but in 2020 times are tough for restaurants and I'm not going to really fault them for that. The pad thai was good and it was ready very quickly.
This is my favorite hot spot to get curry takeout. Their curry is milder than other places around and has a rich and fantastic flavor.
Love this place and have enjoyed their takeout multiple times. Double check your order. I ordered shrimp fried rice and got chicken fried rice tonight and was disappointed to discover it when I got home.
Great food. Good customer service.
Something up with their phone number? Are they open?
Great taste and service 🙂
Love the foods & services.
This is one of our favorite Thai places in town. The food is consistently delicious, but our favorite thing here that so far is better than anywhere else is their fresh rolls (the ones with the clear wrapper, rice noodles, fresh veggies, shrimp...). Though we live on the other side of town, sometimes we find it worth getting ourselves all the way over here just because it fully meets that craving.
Best Thai food in Grand Rapids! My favorites are the drunken noodles and chicken curry fried rice. Also the tofu bites are delicious! Those are a must try!
Let me be clear, the food is delicious.
Eaten here many times, usually great food, portions, and prices.
I ordered from here today for the first time since they closed early into the spread of Covid. They charge an extra 1.50 on to your order due to Covid, okay, that's semi normal now. But when I got my food back home, the portions were half of what they usually were (used to be?). We could see about 20% of the bottom of the pad Thai container, pushed to the side instead of spread out it was maybe half full.
I might go back, but I'll give it a while before I do.
Good laab, but a limited menu currently.
Great place for lunch. Show up before 11:30 for faster service.
One of the best Thai food in town...
The food was tasty, vegetables were fresh, colorful with a crispness that added to my first impression. The restaurant was clean with tables and chairs placed around the room in a comfortable way. The servicers were attentive and polite.
Great place for lunch!! I should try ordering something other than Pad Thai, but it's so good I never want to order anything else🙂
Food was amazing
Thai Steak is my go to here. Juicy tender pieces of steak with delicious veggies and brown sauce
Excellent
Good food and servive
First time eating Thai fusion- we got take out. I typically don’t write negative reviews, but I had THREE HAIRS IN MY FOOD. very disappointing!
Our go to spot for a quick workday lunch! FOOD IS DELISH!
Not a fan.
Very good thai food. Large menu with lots of choices.
Loved it, will go back twice a month for the rest of the year!!!
Personally this is my favorite Thai restaurant.
Everything was great except for the food. Very Americanized and not tasty at all.
Phone is intermittently answered at best for take out orders. Lost my business.
Decent food but there are other better Thai restaurants in the area.
Good food and service!
Love the chicken pad thai
Hottest Thai you can buy!
Good place and very good staff. Food is tasty...
Best Thai food in West Michigan, right after Little Bangkok. Same family, same recipes, just farther for us to travel to. The food is consistently delicious and the service is always outstanding!
Good food
The fried rice is INCREDIBLE. I'm a wuss, so I only ordered mild, but there's still a little hint of spice in there to keep you on your toes.
Their Thai tea is also awesome. I highly recommend stopping by and giving this place a try if you like Thai food and are nearby!
EDIT:
A few weeks after having written this review, I went back here with a couple friends, and we all ordered differing chicken dishes and shared a big pot of Tom Kha soup.
I'm not sure if it was the chicken used in our dishes or if it was an ingredient used in the soup we all shared, but all three of us were very ill that night after having eaten at the restaurant.
I'm willing to give Thai Fusion another try, as the restaurant was clean and the food seemed fresh both times we were there, but I do have to knock off a couple of stars for food poisoning.
Basic room. Nice enough food.
Food was wonderful! Will recommend! Very chill atmosphere (was here around 3:30-4pm)
Great Thai Food! Prices are good, usually comes with a soup and a large side of rice. The inside is really cute with decorations. Great place to stop for lunch after shopping, you won’t have to worry about long wait lines.
Great food for a good price
I love Thai food so when I was told from a buddy that this place was good I gave it a shot. I ordered the chicken curry pad Thai and some spring roll app( can’t remember the name). The food tasted okay so I finished my meal. I got so sick later that night and the next day. I will not come back to this place.
Updating my review: still 5 stars after all our years of coming here. It's our favorite Thai restaurant and we go at least twice a month! Portions are always decent and food is always delicious. We do take-out and dine-in and both are great !
Good delicious food with a great waitstaff...reasonably priced
Absolutely delicious. On a completely different level to most Thai places. The food has so much flavor. Pad Thai with Yellow Curry and the Tom Kha soup are some of my personal favorites. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
I gotta get back here asap. Amazing cuisine
I have only been to Thai Fusion a handful of times, but every time I have eaten there I have received friendly service and delicious food. I recently took my wife and son there for dinner. Neither of them had ever had Thai food before. My wife was extremely nervous, but she very much enjoyed her wok fried broccoli with beef, and mild spice. I had the Pad Pak with beef and medium spice and enjoyed every bite. My son also had the Pad Pak but with pork, and hot spice. He went through several glasses of water and he said the spices were making him sweat, but he enjoy the meal and said he would definitely order the same thing again. Overall I find Thai Fusion to be a great place to dine with friends, family, and coworkers. The prices are very reasonable as well. Highly recommended.
Very good food and great customer service.
This is the place that made me fall in love with Thai cuisine.
Great curry noodles. Keep it up
My favorite place to go
Food tastes great but my friend found a hair in her food the second time in a row!! Gross
Great food excellent service. Medium spiced red curry, crab wontons, and spring rolls. Perfect lunch for 2
Great food, great service... Just great.
Great food and a fare price
Food was tasty but service was slow. Seemed like understaffing issue, not quality of wait staff.
Drunken Noodles
My rating is for the food and service, both of which are excellent!
I have to say, though...I actually think this place would make a LOT more money if they closed down the dining room and focused 100% on take-out, maybe adding delivery with a few drivers on staff.
We will not be dining in again. I can't really offer a specific reason, it just wasn't a comfortable experience. Weird vibe? No clue. But we LOVED the food and there was seriously nothing wrong with the service.
In fact, my expectations were pretty much rock bottom when I first walked in. I honestly thought, "why are we here? This is going to be awful." And when I saw the menu, with stuff just crossed out in black marker, I was ready to get up and leave. The only reason we stayed was because so many of my husband's coworkers do take-out for lunch, and they rave about the food.
We were seriously sitting there questioning if we had somehow wound up at the wrong restaurant.
So you can imagine our shock and pleasure to have been served one of the best Thai meals we've ever had, along with really great service from the staff! Polite, friendly, just the right amount of attentiveness. Our server was also well-timed in offering refills and delivering the check. The employees were NOT the source of whatever "discomfort" we were feeling about the atmosphere.
What truly impresses me is that their food is consistently excellent. You don't fall in love with a dish, only to order it again a few weeks later, and have it feel like you're eating somewhere completely different. Every time we get take-out, it is the same consistently excellent food we are expecting.
Their vegetable roll is the best I've ever had anywhere. Two are never enough! They reheat amazingly in a toaster oven, too!
I also love that, no matter what we order, the white rice and whatever veggies the dish contains, are both cooked to perfection. Crisp when they're supposed to be, melt-in-your-mouth when they're not. The rice is done just right...no weird clumps, no under- or over-cooked bits. It is simultaneously traditional "sticky rice" AND as light and fluffy as you could ever hope for. And again, CONSISTENTLY.
If I absolutely had to find something about the food to complain about, I'd advise diners that even their "mild" spice is still quite the burn. Not initially, but it definitely builds as you eat. So you really may want to order "no spice" if you are sensitive to such things. But then, why would you be eating Thai to begin with? LOL
Bottom line, Thai Fusion is now our go-to place whenever we're craving a good Asian meal. If they served Egg Drop Soup at the same high quality, I doubt I'd ever eat at a different Asian restaurant again. All my cravings would be fully satisfied by this gem!
Good food great prices.
Really good food, decent price.
Good Thai food at fair price
Great place for thai food. Nice ambience. Love the thai iced tea. Best won tons. All food is great. They have a heat index. Try mild or my personal favorite: medium.
Food taste is good but less in quantity.
