Welcome!
Thai Café 99 serves traditional Thailand recipes and made to order. Spice level to suit.
Prepared and cooked in old fashion originating from Siam with a mix of modern Bangkok.
Authentic cuisine from across the world, fresh and healthy ingredients, complex flavors, beautifully served in a pleasant atmosphere.
Florida family-owned business.
Our food & the service was fantastic, I got a Thai Tea, it was so flavorful, then we started with steamed dumplings & they were so yummy, I loved the dipping sauce served with it, for my meal I got the Broccoli & Beef, the broccoli was crisp & perfect and also very flavorful along with the beef, my fiance got the Pad Thai noodles with Tofu & he loved his meal as well. Safe to say, we will definitely be back & look forward to it too!
🇹🇭 🥗 For us, Anytime we’ve eaten Vegan Thai Food we always chose the soups. Thai soups were the first menu option we tried and they were so incredible we’ve stuck with them every time. Well, now we’ve tried more options and I must say we are very satisfied! “Thai Cafe 99” in Cape Coral was very accommodating to our Vegan lifestyle and had no problem working with us to ensure we had a delicious healthy dinner. We love that their flavors are bold, their prices are fair, they use whole food ingredients, and the staff (our server Reenaa especially) was excellent! Seriously, if not just for the food you’ll love being greeted by her huge smile and enthusiastic attitude. Our experience at Thai Cafe 99 is very memorable and we’re happy they treated us so well. If you’re in Southwest Florida we definitely recommend giving them a visit!

Service was incredible! The atmosphere and ambiance here are very nice. The portion sizes are good. Food is excellent. Zero complaints.
Regarding spice level, I may be ruined with a place far away. Their hot is comparable to Magic Kitchen's (Springfield, IL) medium. However, they will graciously bring you an array of spices to add.
This is our 2nd visit, and we will definitely be back.
First and foremost, this is a new Thai restaurant with a new owner and a new menu. I am so tired of reading the 1-2 star reviews complaining how this isn't Thai nawa anymore. You're ridiculous and putting down a new business that is trying to break out.
Ok, moving on. We ate dinner here and it was delicious. I had the red curry and it was yummy and filling. I actually crave the red curry. My daughter and husband had the chicken pad Thai and it too was very flavorful and a large portion for the price you pay. But the spring rolls and the crab coral were top notch. We ended up having two orders of the because crab coral was so tasty.
The owner of this new business works her butt off to make her guests happy and make right any issue a customer may have.
We will be back!
I ordered take-out. We got Tom Yum Soup (with chicken)steamed dumplings(pork and vegetables) and Danang Chicken Curry. Ordered it Thai Hot. Nicely spicy! Flavors were good. Rated a 4/5 because little skimpy on vegetables in curry and soup. Food was ready to go in estimated timeframe. Parking on a Monday night at 6:30 was no problem.
Chef is great! My husband and I visited and the food was on point. I had the Panang curry and my husband had the basil fried rice. Thai tea was delicious and so were the spring rolls.

New owners and great quality of the dishes we had.
Slow service, food just ok, husband's beef dish was not great, my red curry was good but very spicy (ordered medium).
I have dined in numerous Thai restaurants across the country and what I liked at Thai Cafe 99 is it’s like home cooking in Thailand. I know they recently changed owners. The food was very good and the owners were friendly and hard working. I believe the food will get better and better.
We had dinner yesterday at Thaj Cafe 99, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I was impressed with the freshness of the food, and I definitely would recommend this restaurant to anyone particularly the Chef Special - Crab Fired Rice and the Crab Coral.
Ordered food over the phone. They said 20 minutes. Got there in 20 and after waiting 45 minutes and still didn’t have my food. People who came in after me and and sat at a table got their food first. So I left. They don’t know how to prioritize orders. Never going back.
First time here since it was Thai Nawa.
Ordered Massaman Curry with beef and Tom Kha Ga, both lacked flavor. Curry was super thin and watery, beef was boot leather. The soup was bland, a few mushrooms and over cooked beef; no lemongrass, basil, carrots, etc.
Horrible.
I've eaten here four times in the past month, and I can honestly say the food is delicious! My go to is the pad thai chicken. If you like it spicy, order thai hot! Friendly service and great food!
Cute little spot in a strip mall was a great find. The service was super attentive and the food delicious. The kitchen can make the favorite Americanized versions, or go with the authentic 'like mom used to make' recipes. Definitely will be back!
Cuidado con las órdenes para llevar cerciórense de que esté completa mala experiencia
Excellent je recommande
It was our first time and everything was great!
This is great Thai in a city where it’s hard to find great ethnic food. I always take food Togo and have never been disappointed!! Great service as the owner is kind and very welcoming!! If you love Thai, you won’t be disappointed!
We just visited the Thai Cafe and the food is de- licious! Since moving here from CA we’ve been looking for a good Thai restaurant as that’s our fav. Found it! Each dish was beautifully prepared, super flavorful, great portions and wonderful service. Had the Lovely Ginger and will definitely be back for it! Oh and the fabulous chef/owner is really from Thailand 😋
First time eating at this restaurant. I've had plenty of curry from other places but this one I will say is lacking flavor, chicken and veggies. 💔
The Seafood salad I had was amazing, and the service was great. The workers were very kind. Highly recommend!!
This was our first time here and the service and food was exceptional! I highly recommend this place for excellent Thai food!
Excellent food! Great service love those place
Gave this place more than 3 chances and they failed every time. Not authentic / Not good and protein portion too small.
This is one special place!!! The food is delicious, and you can feel at home with the atmosphere and great service. 100 % recommended!!
I tried The Massiaman curry and it was absolutely delicious. My server was very helpful and making a choice and describing the different types of curry dishes. I Have eaten here many times and it amazes me Each time how wonderful the food is. You won’t be disappointed.

I just enjoyed the best Tom Kha Gai (Coconut Chicken Mushroom Soup) and Florida Fried Rice, with Thai Tea, that I've ever had. It was absolutely delicious, and the Thai Cafe environment was cute, welcoming, and made for a very nice meal. We got a late start to dinner after a busy day, and even though we were getting close to closing time, the owner was very kind and accommodating to ensure we had a nice dinner and time to enjoy it. Thank you Thai 99 Cafe, definitely a new favorite!
My family and I stopped at Thai Café 99, and we were blown away! The meal was absolutely amazing, with authentic flavors that transported us straight to Thailand. The staff was super friendly, making us feel right at home. We totally recommend Thai Café 99 for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience! Super amazing. Can’t say enough of about the staff and food!!!
Amazing food and staff! Thank you! Pad Thai was awesome!
Thai Cafe 99 is a great spot for some tasty Thai food. Their menu has all the favorites, like pad thai and a variety of rich curries, made with fresh ingredients. The place has a relaxed, cozy vibe, and the staff are always welcoming. The curries are a highlight—full of flavor and just the right amount of spice. It’s a solid choice for a casual meal or takeout when you’re in the mood for something delicious and comforting.
Wow!! Amazing food! Totally worth the drive from Indiana! And service was above and beyond, gave great recommendations. Felt like a home cooked Thai meal! Thank you!! Would recommend 10/10 you won’t regret it!
The best crab rangoons in town. All the food is amazing and clearly made from the heart. Best Thai food in the area by far. Definitely would recommend. The owner is very kind and the food is definitely a step up from Thai Nawa.
Fantastic food!! May be the best restaurant food I've eaten since moving here in 2018.
A really nice lunch
Great service and the food was outstanding
We just enjoyed an authentic Thai dinner with special Thai tea...wonderful food and service...we'll be back!! Thank you!
Very flavorful and delicious! We’ve already come back to try more, and have not been disappointed with anything - soup, salad, or entree! It’s all good and I would definitely recommend. Get the peanut sauce - it’s SO good!!
Amazing and delicious authentic Thai food. Fresh ingredients, real chicken, real Thai!!! You won't be disappointed. I'm a real foodie and I know this place is the real deal. Not "Americanized" Thai so if you want the real deal this place is a must eat. Great service from a young lady who helped out with a gluten allergy...no stomach ache here! I'm sad I live in NY and can't eat here weekly but my friend can. I'm jelly.
Great place! We do take out, food was hot and ready when expected…not to mention delicious!!!
Just had an excellent dinner at Thai Cafe 99...amazing coffee, terrific authentic Thai food, super friendly, sincere service with Pat, a charming lady......we will definitely be back....thank you!!
Excellent service! Food was fantastic! We all tried something different (pad Thai, pad see yew, crab fried rice, pepper beef) and each dish was great. Ingredients were fresh and real. No imitation krab. We will definitely be back
Really good food and a really great staff!
Came todau to check out the food. After all the negative commemts seen on these new owner. I have to say 1- It is a new rest. New owner new food so there is no way you can compare to the old one. The food and service was amazing. They will definitely have coming back for more.
Definitely not the same. Pad Thai was horrible. Almost resembled spaghetti? Very small portion. My friend got Thai Basil, also disappointing. This was my friend's first experience with Thai food. I highly recommended hoping it was wonderful as Thai Nawa. Nope. We will not be returning.
Food on time
And delicious I’ll be back soon
For 13.99 i got 6 shrimp white rice and a 3in long spring roll... over cooked and and over priced.
Don't miss this great place
We were big Thai Nawa fans for years. When the restaurant changed ownership and name, we were hesitant. We tried Thai Cafe 99 a few days ago and were pleasantly surprised. This place is great!! As you walk in the door the service is excellent. You are greeted warmly by Therese or Rina and attended to quickly. The new chef / owner is a lovely lady who is obviously working hard to make everything run smoothly. The food is so wonderful that we returned 2 nights later to eat their delicious food again.
The food is authentic, and as well-spiced and flavorful as you would expect from Thai cuisine. We especially recommend the chef's Special Massaman cooked with a generous portion of succulent chicken thigh. Our party sampled a few appetizers, soups, salad and several entrees and we had no complaints. We even tried a freshly prepared dessert of Sticky Rice with fresh chopped mango and coconut sauce, and it was so delicious.
Anyone who loves Thai food and doesn't visit Thai cafe 99 is only depriving themselves. We'll be back very soon.
Jen & Dave K.
The food was tasty and reasonably priced

I've had these dishes many times at other establishments, and this was, without a doubt, the worst Thai food I've ever had. Ended up throwing it away🤬
Minus 2 ☆
If it anit broke don’t fix it. The chicken stir fry was blend with no spice I ordered it as spicy as it comes. Sad that my favorite restaurant closed.. and my new favorite restaurant sucks- Michael Scott
We ordered the Cashew Chicken at the new Thai Cafe 99 and it was absolutely delicious. Great service and great food. The decor was classy and minimal and pleasing. We'll be back!!!
Great food, new owner, real Thai food now. Will be back weekly.
Awesome new owners, new recipes, good size portions, try it out
Pleasant wait staff, broad menu, tasty and generous portions.
Food was delicious and priced well. The yellow curry chicken was the best I have had!
My experience at Thai 99 was exceptional. The ambiance was inviting, the service impeccable, and the food outstanding. I savored the tofu panang and Tom Ka Kai, both of which were expertly prepared and bursting with authentic Thai flavors. Thai 99 is a must-visit for anyone craving exquisite Thai cuisine in a welcoming setting.
Hola , es un lugar muy acogedor , la comida deliciosa y el trato es especial lo recomiendo 100% , no se arrepentira de probable sus delicias
This will be my first review, which is this low. Did not like the food at all. I have had Thai foods from many different places, but this will be the worst by far. The Tom Yum soup we ordered was not Tom Yum; Panag chicken tasted like turmeric. The fried rice was soggy. Oh, by the way, they labeled the food wrong and told us we mistakenly labeled the soup and curry as soup, and we didn't want to make you wait. Why didn't you change it back to the right one? Wait, what to change a lid? It takes 45 minutes, by the way; that was my wait time. I will never go back to this place.
Food was delicious and fresh, I had the Thai Basil stir fry and spring roll. Spring roll sauce is amazing. My mom had the Panama curry and it was a bit spicy for her but the staff was extremely
Nice and had it fixed for her. She said it tasted amazing. Highly recommend, everyone was extremely nice and helpful and the food is great.
I will start with the atmosphere first, because I gave it an average rating. This is because it is a new small place, with limited seating (but very clean) at the end of a strip mall. The food was absolutely, spot on. We had two different curry dishes and a sweet and sour dish - all spiced up the way we love it - hot, but not over the top. The service was also in the awesome category, as we were shown all the attention that we needed without having to ask for anything. This place will climb to the top of the local Thai restaurant favorites. Sorry, no photos as I wipe curry from my face.
Thai Basil? No, not really. I order this dish from many restaurants around Cape Coral and Fort Myers, this definitely doesn't relate to any of them. The chicken was plain, boiled possibly with no spice, no juice to flavor my meat or rice. A few vegetables but definitely lacking
I actually loved the old menu, but after a lot of thought I decided I needed to give the new menu a try. And it was surprisingly good. I guess I just needed to try the new owners food. Been back several times since. They are really making progress.
The dumplings were good along with the coconut soup. All four entrees we ordered were not very good (drunken noodle, pad Thai, and two curries). I would not go back and recommend friends try a different Thai restaurant before this one
Hola un lugar muy agradable y la comida excelente muy buen trato lo recomiendo al 100
First time there. Ordered Thai Basil to go and the dish barely filled the container let alone a slice of bell pepper had the vegetable store sticker still on it. Only tells that there is no quality in preparing the food there. No picture to share because I quickly tossed it out with no hesitation. Disappointed.
Absolutely delicious!!! The Thai Basil Chicken was such a unique flavor! The staff was outgoing, accommodating and upbeat! It is a rare gem!
The server was very nice. No troubles with her.
But honestly the worst Pad Thai I have ever had. They need to learn to make it more authentic. It was sloppy noodles in what tasted like duck sauce from packets. I had ordered it to be made with very little sauce or oil but it was drowning in this awful sauce. The noodles were very limp. Pad Thai is supposed to be a firm mound with a lot of bean sprouts, a lime taste, egg, peanuts, etc. Instead, it was simply a flat mess of overcooked noodles in that awful orange sauce.
I ordered chicken pad Thai. There were 5-6 small pieces of flabby, tasteless chicken. There was no egg. There were a few bean sprouts and they were also bland and flabby. The peanuts were ground so I didn't even notice them. For vegetables, there were a couple of green strands. When I normally order it I get broccoli, carrots, celery, other vegetables.
It was comparable to Chef Boyardee from a can.
I am still sick from it today, and I didn't even eat half of it. Once again the server was very nice and there was no problem with her. But they need to learn how to make authentic Pad Thai. After all, it is the signature dish at Thai restaurants.
Came in after the new owner took over and she was very welcoming. My food was very tasty and I definitely will be back.
Very disappointing. Ordered three takeout items from the menu, came to $35. Got home and opened the bag to find that there wasn’t enough food to feed two people. The smallest portions I have ever seen come out of a Thai restaurant. The food was mediocre at best. High prices, small portions, and very average.
OUR FIRST VISIT BUT IT WON'T BE THE LAST. SPRING ROLLS WERE THE BEST. MY HUSBAND HAD SHRIMP PAD THAI AND I HAD PAD SEA THAI, BOTH WERE EXCELLENT!
Wonderful experience and absolutely delicious food! This is authentic Thai food and all of the staff is obviously committed to every guest having an overall experience that is 10 out of 10!!
First and foremost, this is a new Thai restaurant with a new owner and a new menu. I am so tired of reading the 1-2 star reviews complaining how this isn't Thai nawa anymore. You're ridiculous and putting down a new business that is trying to break out.

We will be back!
i just went back to tahi nawa after it changed owners, I guess they changed recipes as well, my usual order is not at all as good as it used to be, very disappointed
Very familiar with the former restaurant, but no worries. This restaurant goes above and beyond to satisfy the customer. I had the Panang with salmon. It was delicious!!! Therese was our server. She makes it a priority to make certain you're satisfied. Highly recommend Thai Cafe 99.
First time customer and loved it! We had 3 different dishes and the portions were generous and delicious! Highly recommend!
Food was amazing!!! We loved the old place but also loved this just as much!!!
Love the food
Every dish we ordered was watered down and flavorless. Didn’t even taste like Thai. Ended up throwing it all away. Far cry from the previous owners. Would not order from here again.
thai nawa apparently isn't thai nawa anymore, when you Google it and call its still a thai place with same menu but the food is well...nevermind. Rip thai nawa. Not going back to "thai 99"
Terrible food. The worst Thai food I ever had.
We're new to the area & new customers. The food was very authentic & nicely served with big portions. We'll be back again!!
This was our first time experiencing the best Thai food we have ever had! We are long time customers of Thai Nawa and were sad to see it was no longer available.
My husband and I decided to try Thai Cafe 99. It was one of the best experiences we have ever had! From the customer service when you first walk in,to the quality of the food, you will not find this level of service anywhere else.
Mr. Sam and I will definitely be making this our weekly takeout place!
This used to be our favorite take out for chicken panang curry (when it was Thai Nawa) and sadly my husband and I were very disappointed with our meal. We have been going here for years and would always get the same thing because it was exceptional and so convenient with it being close to home. Apparently, after new ownership, the menu had some changes but we still wanted to try it out. The chicken panang curry barely had any meat and veggies in it and it was very watery - definitely not the same great taste we used to enjoy. This is very unfortunate and we will not be returning.
Just went to Thai Café for the first time. We'd previously been to Thai Nuawa several times. They've given the front of house a nice clean face-lift. We were immediately greeted and seated upon arrival. Service was prompt and friendly. We ordered the prawn crisps and crab coral (rangoon). The crab coral was savory and very good. The prawn crisps are made in-house and are very good. I liked mine with just a little salt. It seemed to really bring out the flavor. The dipping sauces were good, but I'm not a big dipper. I had the angry bamboo with chicken, medium heat, and my wife had the Cape Curry. Both dishes were very good! Portion sizes were large. Food came out quickly and was all freshly made. My angry bamboo had very good flavor. I like spicy food, and I wasn't sure how to gauge their spice levels, so I went with medium. I could have used it hotter, and they had ground chilies at the table, so I doctored it up. My wife's curry was excellent, there was plenty of crab flavor, and the spice level was nice. It's served over fresh cooked spaghetti noodles, which was different. My personal preference would be for rice, which I'll ask for next time. I think it soaks up the sauce better. Once more, my personal preference. They'll fix it how you like. We'll definitely go back. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other dishes. I saw 6 other people's dishes come out, and they all looked delicious! Give this place a try. Keep in mind that they are still a new restaurant, but I didn't notice any hiccups last night.
I loved the taste of the food, the waitress was very kind. The restaurant was very clean. Red curry was delectable, and spicy. Would reccomend to those who love spicy food. The Iced taro milk and the Thai Iced coffee tasted amazing. For desserts, i would highly reccomend the Sticky rice. Overall quality of the restaurant, 10/10.
The staff were so sweet and amazing and the food was amazing too! Great flavors and great options on the menu. The house pad thai was delicious and the mango ice cream was so amazing and refreshing! Definitely recommend coming here.
I’ve been going to Thai Nawa since 2015 and I’ve always loved the food. The girl who works the register in the most recent years is so lovely! Always a pleasure. However I am here to say I haven’t tried them since they changed the menu/ownership and they no longer have the spicy thai lettuce wraps! Please if anybody knows the recipe PLEASE reach out to me or if you know how to contact the original owners! I absolutely cannot live the rest of my life without those wraps!
Oh I have to say the original owner once opened up several hours early because he saw my mother and I in the parking lot. Will really miss them.
We were looking forward to trying out this new restaurant and unfortunately, I think we came at a bad time. It didn't go well - the online reservation system seemed to work, as I made it for 6:30 for 3 - we were a bit late since we didn't account for traffic but she had already cleared our table. There appeared to be one person handling all the tables, till, clean up, etc - she seemed a bit overwhelmed. She got to us as soon as she could, took our drink order, and asked if we were ready to order, so after about 15 mins we ordered some soup - 2 orders of wonton soup, an order of LAAB salad, cashew chicken, thai basil with chicken and LAAB Tacos
I had the opportunity to see a bit into the kitchen and holding area. Everything seemed to be in disarray. After waiting a very long time, the server came over and provided me with my cashew chicken order, it was lukewarm, supposed to be medium hot, it was not and there were NO cashews - very dry to taste. I ask at that time where the soups and appetizer was, she just walked away. I had eaten almost half of the meal when 1 of the wonton soups arrived, very little wonton, 1 shrimp, and lots of broth. Both said the broth was very good. I happened to notice that the order of 3 tacos was sitting there at the holding spot but we were still waiting for the second soup to arrive. The LAAB salad arrived but there was no notice of lime dressing, no lettuce but it was spiced as requested - we like it hot but it was dry. Still no soup..... Finally, the soup arrived, and shortly thereafter the cold tacos and the thai basil came. There was a lot of food and since it was our first time here there was an opportunity to educate us on the portion size of each dish. While there, others were a bit frustrated and we even witnessed a take-out order come back and the woman did not look happy. I understand that this restaurant has just opened but clearly, there are opportunities for improved communication with customers, service, food delivery and in the correct order. There was no apology or appreciation for wait etc. At this point, I would not recommend going to this restaurant until they fix some of this fundamental area
The phad thai noodles had no flavor. There were no vegetables. It was drowning in strong vinegary broth. The Thai ice tea was too weak. The restaurant needs an authentic Asian chef.
The server was such a wonderful lady. She keep calling everyone dear, I loved it so did everyone else who was there.
Had takeout today and the food was really good! Owner is fabulous!
First time coming since new owners and the food was fantastic. Everything was served hot and fresh and tasted great. If anybody says the portions are small they are insanse. The plates are huge and overfilled. All three of our dishes were amazing. The staff was very friendly and even the owner came out and introduced herself. Definitely recommend and we will be back for sure.
I had the green chicken curry and it was delicious. Great food and friendly service.
We had gone to a concert in the area and stopped at Thai Cafe 99 for some dinner. It was our 1st time there and we had a great experience! We all ordered something different and the meals were great ! Everyone was very friendly service was great!!
First time here since new owners took over. Some of the best Panama curry I've had. And I've been to Thailand and go to any Thai restaurant I can find anywhere I travel!
Service was exceptional! Portions very generous, and food was of very high quality and prices were very reasonable!!!
Definitely my new favorite restaurant!
Thai Nawa was one of my favorite restaurants, however, it seems like it got sold to new owners and renamed "Thai 99". With it, an entirely new menu and ingredients. I decided to give it a try, ordering the same thing I used to get from Thai Nawa, the yellow chicken curry. I thought maybe the other recent reviews here of Thai 99 were just people upset that it was no longer Thai Nawa. However, I know what they mean now. The yellow curry was very, very bland and tasted nothing like it did before. I feel bad for leaving this review, as the new owners were very nice and seemed to legitimately enjoy their new business. But it just wasn't anywhere close to Thai Nawa. If they are able to somehow get the same recipe Thai Nawa had for their yellow curry, I'll return and change this review as I like to give every business a fair shot and a second chance.
Just changed owners, they say they have changed all the recipes. They have. Ordered 6 different dinners, everything was bland. In addition, the curries have less actual food in them, it’s just sauce, and the noodle dishes were dry, almost no sauce.
Amazing food
Obviously the recipes have changed along with the name and ownership! Tom ka gai had very little coconut flavor and not a hint of lemongrass. Large slices of onion did nothing for the flavor. And 2 orders of the soup equaled 1 order from previous owner. Panang curry lacked any taste of peanuts but had the same slices of onion. Have been loyal customers of Thai Nawa since they opened. Very disappointed and will not return.
Let's just say it's not like it was, the Pad Thai was as dry as a desert and I'm pretty sure pad Thai has tamarind sauce that you can taste its sourness. Where are the old owners because they need to teach them how to make a pad Thai. This place is lacking flavor and sadly it came with a price of $16 for the pad Thai.
This used to be our favorite place for Thai food when it was Thai Nawa (best red curry ever), until they changed ownership to Thai Cafe 99. Portions are HALF the size AND prices increased. They added eggplant into the dish to cut back on giving more meat portions to save money which made the dish less desirable. The girl who works the counter is the same and is as lovely and friendly as always. I sure hope they return portions and menu back to the original so we can enjoy their food again.
BEWARE all the reviews Prior to 12/1/23 are from Thai Nawa NOT Thai 99! The food quality is not the same.
For some reason the new owners kept all the old reviews. They have only been open since 12/1/23.
I used to go to Thai Nawa frequently and their food was awesome! Thai 99’s food is horrible. It was the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. The items were tasteless and you could tell they are buying the cheapest ingredients possible. The soup and curry were extremely watered down. The only positive thing I can say was the waitress was nice.
This place is, in one word, terrible!!!
Went in and it wound up taking ten minutes to get menus though they weren't busy.
The food was awful. I had deluxe vegetables---deluxe??, they were in a soup bowl and consisted mostly of peppers. The appearance was of a soup. A bit of chicken as the dish. Rice was more of the consistency of sticky rice.
Wife had Thai rice noodles---rice? Looked like linguine. The taste was something that we have never experience. Very sweet and couldn't recognize what it was except that it was awful. Didn't eat it----they didn't care.
Other wife got some sort of beef dish and the bowl was only half full,,,guess that beef costs too much. Extremely salty and she hardly ate any---again, they didn't care.
Other gentleman got a curry dish that he didn't recognize as any curry that he has ever had.
At the end, had difficulty paying as girl didn't understand register.
While there we observed other orders going back to the kitchen to be redone. Kitchen was chaos.
As we used to say about places like this, "went twice, first time and the last time", never again.
Order food over the phone and was told it would be 30 min. When I got there, I was informed that they didn't make my food and that they were too busy to make my food. Terrible service.
Food was absolutely incredible. Some of the absolute best pad thai I've had. The flavors and the spice were just incredibly delicious. Waitress was so kind and informative about their menu and recommendations. Eat local and eat at this spot.
Wonderful food. Love this place
Haven't been here in a long time 😪 food was not so good than but tried again.
Did takeout..spring rolls mushy insides no taste..white rice soft an gummy..pai thai noodle dish had weird taste. Red curry chicken was the star. Dumplings average..will not go again..
Our server Alexander was amazing and so welcoming. We loved the food. The wonton soup, massamam curry, Thai basil rice, and Tom ka was so delicious. We are so happy to find a decent, local Thai restaurant.
I can't say enough good things about this place. This is our go to for take out! Everything we order is always consistent. Flavor is amazing! We always get the red curry chicken, chicken pad Thai, fried dumplings, Cajun chicken and more. We like super spicy so we get the Thai spicy. Kai and her team is absolutely the best!
Down to earth restaurant with great meals and prices. Service is good, and every dish is distinctively different. I'd only suggest adding a kids' menu with a few of the staples.
Super food. Nice restaurant with lovely servers
Great place, great food
Awesome service and food. We will definitely be coming back.
Best Thai food. And this is coming from someone raised in NYC and upstate NY where we had many great options. Delicious. And they will veganize any dish you request. No fish/oyster sauce is not a problem. I just wish they were open for lunch! It’s a subdued atmosphere inside. Nothing fancy but also very comfortable. It’s always packed with regulars. You can tell people love it. It’s in one of the shopping plaza type malls that Florida is famous for. So, not a stay and hang spot. Happy to be living near enough to eat here once a week.
The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable.
Best thai in town.
My wife & I have been dining here for over 5 years, at least 2X monthly, and EVERY SINGLE DISH was Outstanding! The kitchen staff are lovely people, and the wait staff is always smiling & friendly. Ya gotta try this place!
Nice place. Very welcoming. Great food and service. Moon was very nice and very helpful in deciding process. Great waitress. Other staff was great and smiling in kitchen. They make you feel like family here.
Super friendly server, but inconsistent food, gave them a second chance since the first visit at least the chicken lettuce wraps were good, this time they were just mediocre.
The drunken squid entree had squid the consistency like chewing on rubber, the Pork fried rice was a waste of money, tasteless, flavorless, with dry pieces of pre-cooked sliced pork in a less than inspired facsimile of fried rice more like white rice quickly tossed in a wok. The only thing they hit the mark on was the right level of heat!
Overall not sensational Thai. Left very underwhelmed and won't go back!
Our fave local restaurant! Food is always good, service is always fast. Highly recommend!
We ordered Pad Kee Mao to go. The food was prepared quickly and was very hot all the way home.
The dish is delicious lots of fresh vegetables and the sauce is amazing with the Thai basil leaves.
The staff is courteous and helpful.
Love this place. The flavors are amazing. I would recommend everything on the menu.
It was a lot better when the original owners were still there. Portions are smaller and flavors have changed. The wonton soup was not as good and my Chicken Curry with extra Chicken was half the size of the orders I was buying since it first opened.
Awesome food! Everything I’ve ordered from here has been delicious and really friendly service, easy one of my fav restaurants in Cape
The many times my wife and I have ordered from Thai nawa the food is always great we've haven't had a bad meal. Love this place and then wish I had a photo to add
The best Thai food in Florida! Careful with the spice level! Hot is Hot 🔥 ! Great staff and service!
Absolutely wonderful! Great service ND bold flavorful food! Pricing was reasonable too.
I just had the worst Vegetable soup at Thai Nawa, (take out).It is advertised as" fresh vegetables with steamed tofu". There were 5 pieces of sliced celery including the celery leaves - no other vegetables, fried tofu (not steamed) and a pound of noodles; I ordered the noodles as an add on. The broth was very salty. I have ordered this dish as a guest in the restaurant and it has been good. This was a disaster!
Shame on the cooks. -
Friendly staff which leads to a great dining experience. Recommend any plate/entree offered. My young children enjoyed their meals which surprised me cuz they are very picky
The food was so bad, I took two bites and threw it out.
My go to for oriental. Best in Cape Coral.
We have our normal place we go to for pad Thai, but we decided to branch out and try here tonight. This is our first time ordering from here, and it definitely will be our last. We ordered chicken pad Thai and to say it was awful would be an understatement. The sauce was like water and vinegar. All you could taste was vinegar and it was so thin that the sauce spilled everywhere in the bag. When we opened the containers, the noodles were completely white and dry. We have NEVER had pad Thai that tasted this way. This is a Thai place, and pad Thai is a staple at any good Thai restaurant. If this is any indication of how the food is, I wouldn’t recommend it.
Excellent food! Staff was friendly!
Great food!
Courtesy young man at desk. Spring rolls not from Scratch. Cashew chicken good, thought it's sauce not very flavorful. Chicken dumplings good.
Best Thai food around. By far.
The Chicken Satay was good. The Chicken Pho was way too sweet. The service was excellent. Just don’t order Pho from a Thai restaurant.
When we walked in, they brought us to our table and ordered, the Wanton Soup was alright, the fried rice was decent, and my Mongolian Beef (Thai style) was great, but the Pad Thai was too sweet, it was like they put ketchup in there. And the Pho was sweeter than normal as well. Overall some dishes were good as some I'd stay away. We most likely won't come back here.
Excellent authentic Thai. It's a family operated place, and I think they were a bit overwhelmed last night. But the food was excellent I will be returning with friends and possibly take out orders
Ordered the Red curry with Chicken and the steamed dumplings that was suggested by the woman I spoke to. The order took a while and the woman apologized but the food is amazing so that would never matter.
Omg! Where has this place been? Trapped in Florida for work. Being subjected to the bland palates of the migrating snow birds. I was beginning to think food had no flavor in Florida. Until I found this place! A hidden gem where every dish I tried was loaded with fresh ingredients and flavor. Hands down best place to eat within 100 miles if you have a taste bud in your head beyond butter and cream dishes. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else.
Beef Basil is excellent, I shared with co workers and they can’t get enough, they keep asking for more.
Waiting 45 minutes for food to go and Pad Thai not supposed to be hot spicy If the costumer don’t ask for it !!No coming back!
Good food especially fried rice dishes and Yellow Curry Chix.
I ordered the Thai waterfall salad I asked Thai spicy was not spicy no rice
Ordered the yellow curry I told them Thai spicy was not spicy at all
Very disappointed
Delicious!!! So good love the curry’s didn’t like the soup but that’s my personal taste . Definitely good place to check out I’m new to this area and was delighted to find a good Thai place already.
This place is awesome!! Food is fresh, amazing flavor and good quality. Restaurant is super clean and staff is great. It’s a regular stop for us
Best Pad Thai I've ever had. Best Red Curry I've ever had. Amazing authentic Thai cuisine right here in Cape Coral.
Really great Thai food & friendly service
My family and I ordered Pad Thai from here and will NOT order from here again. Not only was the order incorrect...we did attempt to eat it and it was NOT tasty at all. Noodles were dry, Pad Thai sauce was not blended well and tasted bitter. When I called to rectify the woman who answered the phone did offer 50% off if we brought the food back...she would make it again. When I called back to just ask for a refund...of course no one answered.
We ordered 2 apps (dumplings and lettuce wraps). 2 rice dishes (fried rice and basil fried rice) Pad Thai and red curry with veges.
Dumpling were pretty good. Chicken bites had a weird texture. Overall the rice was a bit soggy all around, including the white rice. It was not sticky firm . The Curry was good and the veges were fresh. The Pad Thai had a weird flavor and didn’t t taste like Pad Thai. I have eaten authentic Thai food in Guam. Unfortunately, I don’t recommend much here. We were a bit shocked to pay $73.
Great little place, check it out, you won't be disappointed!
We love Thai Nawa! The food is consistently great and the staff is friendly. We order takeout at least twice a month.
Excellent Thai meal and great, friendly service!
AWESOME place for Thai food. Wow, is it ever good. This is the kind of restaurant that you want to just keep going back to. =]
Everything is good here. Friendly, excellent service and the food is absolutely amazing.
Thank you Thai Nawa, I need it Nowa.
Great Thailand food, friendly customer service.
The best Southeast Asian food in the whole Cape! Also the some of kindest staff I’ve ever met at a restaurant here. I’ll definitely be ordering again!
Best thai food, great chef and employees 👍
Best shrimp tempura in Cape Coral.
The egg rolls were 100% frozen though and not freshly made, 4/10 for the egg rolls.
8/10 spicy basil +shrimp, good flavor.
9/10 Shrimp tempura… crispy, crunchy, sweet. amazing with included dipping sauce.
Would buy again, but not re-order rolls
Ordered Pad Thai. And red curry and both barley had one breast of chicken combined. Nasty flavor and really expensive. Not worthy.
Love the waitresses and the owner. They are turning out some good food. I eat there a few times a week.
This is one of our regular places. I get vegetable yellow curryairways lots of veggies. my husband gets chicken fried rice and steamed dumplings always good. When in season I'll get mango sticky rice always a treat.
Disappointed that for $14.50 for Shrimp fried rice there was only 5 shrimp and not enough rice. Portion is too small for the money. Taste of the food was good…
The service was excellent, very friendly. For my tastes, the Mongolian beef was extremely overcooked and virtually tasteless.
Also ordered rice with chicken, and the rice was very mushy.
Yummy local spot for Thai, everyone enjoyed what they ordered!
Some of the best Thai food I have had here in FL.
First off, we spent a bit trying to figure out where this was. Not very well lit up. We did carry out. The food was horrible. I had the See Iew with tofu. It was watery and tasted like they cooked it in soy sauce. The tofu was soggy. My husband had the Pad Thai with chicken. It was red and didn't taste like much, except maaaaybe peanuts. We both had no spice.
We also order shrimp tempura and chicken satay. Both were very good though the chicken a bit dry. The sauce they gave you for the satay was delicious. I could've just drank that. It was a sweet and sour cucumber flavored sauce.
The actual restaurant was small and mostly empty. There was a group of people that looked to be studying with their computers.
In the end, I will not be going back to this place.
Great food. Clean, friendly, efficient.
