Local chain restaurant serving traditional Thai noodles & rice dishes.
Trying close to home places.
Walked in about 5 p.m. on a Wednesday on my way home.
There was one group eating in. The place was clean and orderly. The artwork was a nice touch in what is a rather nondescript & non-traditional looking Thai restaurant.
The woman at the counter took my order, once I made an actual decision, quickly and showed a solid sense of humor.
I swear it only took about 3 minutes before I had my food, ready to hit the street. So I did.
I ordered extra hot cuz I like it that way, duh. If the levels are 1-5, from none thru mild, medium, hot & extra hot, I'm glad I went full tilt because it feels like a strong medium. Reference point established.
I ordered the Pad Pak with squid. When I got home, the food was still quite hot. The quantity is huge, too. There was enough for me to get two meals out it. The flavor was very good. I see many more visits here in my future. π
There are 2 other locations, as well, Rochester & Washington Township.
This place was my FAMILYS GO TO place for thai food. Now itβs extremely expensive and the quality has gone done a lot. My family ordered several entrees with extra meat and we get even less than a regular order I swear. Fortunately there are better places in the area now!
I ordered the pad Thai, and the noodles were soggy and overcooked. The vegetables were also overcooked, and the sauce was bland. I was very disappointed, as I had heard good things about this restaurant.
I know that pad Thai is a simple dish, but it's not hard to cook it properly. The noodles should be cooked until they are firm but not hard, and the vegetables should be cooked until they are tender. The sauce should be flavorful and well-balanced. Mine was neither
TLDR mushy noodles and bland sauce
Best Thai food that I have found so far in the area. This was my first time dining in. Atmosphere wasnβt the best, but the food and service were great! Think of will go back to carry out though.
So, this was my first time eating at Bangkok Cuisine. After looking at an extensive menu online, I called and ordered. I had the Bangkok seafood "lunch." Listed online at $9.75 give or take a quarter. I got to the store it was over $13 dollars. I also ordered crab Rangoon, also 3-4 dollars priced higher than it is online. I expressed this to one of the gentlemen at the restaurant who smiled and said, "Yea, I told them about that."
So, I'm giving this review to see if they will actually correct that. And how long it will take them to correct that. If not, it's marketing entrapment (lol). The Bangkok seafood curry was tasty, but my crab Rangoon looked old and refried. They were dry and hard. BTW, I was literally next door getting my nails done when I ordered the food. I ordered right before I got up to pay for my nails.( I was told my order would take 10- 15 mins), so I didn't understand the dry out food. The crab Rangoon was so dry that it was hard to pull apart. Hopefully, whomever the front cashier told will see this review and change their online errors.
I've been coming here for almost 20 years. I live in Saginaw now, and they opened another location in Grand Blanc, which is only 40 minutes away, but I still make a trip down to the shelby twp to come here a few times out of the year.
I've been coming here for years and the food is always good. Just know that the menus shown online are woefully outdated with the prices now much higher. In fact, when I went in yesterday (8/20/24)to the 19 & Garfield take out only branch, there were not any prices even shown on the menu board. Furthermore the takeout paper menus on the counter showed the price of a dinner shrimp pad thai as $16 but I was charged $17.50 for my phone in order.
So good, even my kiddos like it.

Online menu that their website directs you to has prices lower than what they charge you when you arrive, when an 18%price increase slaps you in the face

Pad see eiw was too salty
Great food
Great staff
Clean place

Our favorite Thai restaurant in the area we have tried so far!! Very good, but the wonton wrapper on the crab rangoons was super dense/firm. Iβm used to them being a bit more airy. A bit expensive also. 2 orders of pad thai with crab rangoons cost us about $50. Iβm used to closer to $30. Staff was super nice!!!
THEY HAVE ROACHES!πͺ³ I decided to give this place a try one evening with a colleague, and as we grabbed our drinks after cashing out, we noticed a few roaches crawling away from the kitchen on the floor. I was sick to my stomach. Health department has been contacted.
OMG So delicious everytime! Won't disapoint!! Nicest people!! TOP NOTCH TAI FOOD-A Must try
My order was overly salted, and the broccoli tasted of fish

I've literally been a patron of this location for over 20 years. It used to serve amazing food with super affordable prices. Now it doesn't serve either of those things. Now-a-days, I only order a few times a year due to location and rising prices, but I always seem to be disappointed in the quality of food. The ingredients and recipes have definitely changed for the worse through the years and the price you now pay is no longer worth mediocre food.
I ordered two dinner portions from them several days ago, and again, I was disappointed in the flavor, ingredients, and preparation of the food. Sadly, I feel this will be the last time I order food from Bangkok Cuisine, which is unfortunate because I have so many great memories of eating their food with friends and family through the years.
This food was very good and definitely worth trying if you're a Thai foodie like me!
The key word is consistency.. No matter what Bangkok you go to the food is always consistent and delicious!
Canβt say that for the other guys!! π
Typical Thai restaurant, nothing special. One of the more expensive Thai restaurants around (at least in my opinion.)
Bring cash as they charge extra if you use a card.
Overall decent food.
Iβll stick to my regular Thai restaurant, even if itβs father.
Quality of the food wasnβt good.
Great food but prices have gotten ridiculous.
Fast service, great quality. The chicken pad Thai here is absolutely amazing.
Use to be good, quality changed after Covid.
I order green curry and they gave me red curry instead, would have preferred what I ordered. Chicken is bland
Iβve tried a lot of Thai places and this one is the best next to another restaurant in Mount Clemens. Highly recommend the pad ped and curry noodles. Be warned that it is more pricey than other places though
Always great service and super food!
Great food and quick service!
Used to come here all the time and always ordered same dishes (drunken noodle, pad thai) however, lately they havenβt been using the fresh oil and it shows. Also food is very liquid saturated, upgrade the practice!
I will have to stop going here. I order the same meal once a week almost every week for over a year now. The portions have gotten significantly smaller but the price stays the same. Today is the last time I'm dealing with this. I usually can eat half and save the other half for the next day. Not today. I don't even have enough food to put with the rice they gave. I'm not going to mention the meal I order because I don't appreciate getting cheated out of my money. The container used to be completely filled and now I got a bunch of rice with nothing to go with it. You just lost a loyal customer who came there weekly because you want to be greedy. Why charge me the same price but give me less food? And this wasn't the first time but it's definitely the last time I let you cheat me out of my money.
Amazing food with generous portions! My new favorite place!
NOT RECOMMENDED - Iβve been coming here for almost 25 years. Today I ordered my usual 2 meals (Bangkok chicken, Pad Thai) βKing sizeβ meals were much smaller (2/3 the size they used to be) were what the lunch size used to be, maybe. The Total was $34 for cheap noodles, cheap rice, and some chicken stir fried. Shrinkflation is real here. Prepare to be shocked by price and portion size if youβre a return customer. Theyβre also operating as if they are still in pandemic mode, everything served in carry out tied up in a bag so it sweats and is soggy. Iβm going to try the sit down location in Rochester, maybe the portions are still large and itβs a real restaurant not just carry out for the SAME PRICE. 25 years, wonβt be back for the $16 noodles π€¦ββοΈ you really have to lower the price or increase portion size, I used to have enough leftovers to eat next day, not anymore. Counter help was depressing, entire vibe of restaurant was pretty dour. Danny and Tong would be pissed. OWNERS, have some pride and please fix this location.
The Thai food seemed too sugary. I guess a lot of Americans would like that, but I like Thai food to be healthier.
My favorite Thai place was Green Leaf in Hammond, LA, but they closed years ago. I'm still looking for something to compare to their legendary panang curry with chicken.
Delicious Bangkok Chicken! Always!
Stopped in here for the first time, it was a little late on a Sunday evening, but we were exhausted from traveling and didn't have anything at home.
So glad we stopped here for dinner! We ordered take out and didn't have to wait long, everything was cooked fresh and came out piping hot. The drunken noodles and curry noodles were amazing. The portions were huge and we had leftover for the next day. The side of shrimp chips is a giant bag, so be prepared for that, lol.
The Thai iced tea was also good, they didn't add too much ice, so it felt like I was actually getting more drink than other places.
The server who took our order was pleasant and friendly. Will definitely be returning!
Food was poor, with small portions, and tasteless. The restaurant has a strong smell of disinfectant with underlining hints of sewage.
Iβm giving 3 and not 5 stars because I had a lot of bamboo shoots that werenβt cooked. I couldnβt chew on them.
I had ordered a Gang Dang dish.
Otherwise it was good.
Simply amazing
Bangkok Cuisine is my favorite Thai food place. Their crispy rolls are awesome. The people there are extremely friendly, the food is great and the prices are very fair.
I ordered the pad Thai, and the noodles were soggy and overcooked. The vegetables were also overcooked, and the sauce was bland. I was very disappointed, as I had heard good things about this restaurant.

My man loves the Thai chicken π and his son loves the Babcock chicken. You can not go wrong there!

I'm from New York City and am a little picky when it comes to thai food. I can honestly say this place serves one the best flavored Thai food in Macomb. The portions are also generous and the prices are fair. I would definitely recommend trying this place!
Still carry out only....bummer
Waited 5 minutes before the guy at the counter greeted me. He was busy scrolling on his phone with his headphones on. He only recognized I was there after the phone rang. I was waiting for an order that was literally sitting on the counter. Smh
Filthy asked for water their machine was broken.
They had a nasty cooler for sale water, Rex clean it up or shut it down.
Amazing food and good service. They do not have dine-in option available because they don't have a server, but they do allow you to sit in lobby to eat.
Always friendly, always good food!
They only gave me one slice of orange. Where's the rest for my meal. They do me the dirty.
Excellent Thai food
Always fast and great service
Six years ago, I worked in this plaza and after my shift I would order the red curry with vegetables and tofu. Overtime I asked if I could order just broccoli and tofu with as much spice as they could make it with. Yesterday I was able to order the same thing and it tasted exactly like my memory. π₯²
Guy at the front was so sweet. Foods great and fresh. I got pork pad ped minus the eggplant and green pepper and added baby corn and broccoli. And I also got the chicken satay. I donβt know what this cucumber stuff is on the side, but itβs such a delight. They really go above and beyond
We ordered the food and we took a long time to get there. I asked for hot π₯ and I never get it from others but here. I got it really hot. It was very good....
Now I don't know what msg is but my wife is sensitive to it and she was not feeling good after eating it. It was very good but it has msg so if you have sensitive to it make sure you say no msg. So you don't feel sick. I ate her food to and I didn't feel sick so the food is good.
Normally the food is good but not today. Hardly any peanuts in the pad Thai and everything was extremely mushy! Definitely not worth $17
Usually good but tonight the noodles were mush , almost creamy
Been to a lot of Thai food restaurants and this is still the best around in my opinion. Most of the other places I have been to have not been as tasty or as spicy (when you order it hot). I have multiple favorites on the menu but at other places I can only find one good item. Been going to this place for about 20 years and never disappoints.
Not my first choice in Thai, but they impressed me this visit. Hot, fresh and tasty...good job,!
this used to be the best location, recently I ordered from here and the pad Thai was so dry and bland i didnt enjoy it at all. My friend told me she had the same experience! Not sure if there are new owners or if they are premaking the food and it is old, but I will not be ordering from here again.
Posted business hours. People inside. No one answered phones. Door locked. Open sign off. Really bummed out.
Always great!!
$7.00 for a 3pc premade gfs style crab rangoon and a ketchup based dipping sauce. pad thai decent price for lunch special but also didnt really hit the spot, watery red sauce that i have never experienced in a pad thai. clean establishment and nice staff tho
Always a great place to get Thai food. I have been ordering carryout from here for 5+ years. Quality is always good to great, prices the same.
The flavor bangs real nice.
Workers are very skilled and considerate !
Awesome meals!!!!
Thai is my favorite food and have been to almost every Thai restaurant in the area. This is NO DOUBT, the worst Thai restaurant I have ever been to.
After a terrible experience the first time, we decided to give them a 2nd chance. Big mistake! We ordered 3 meals and they were all pretty bad. Portions were all VERY small and the smallest I have seen for carryout Thai food, but it doesnt really matter since no one wanted to eat them anyway.
1. PAD THAI SHRIMP- It was a vinegar and sugar overload. A wet disgusting sloppy mess that we had to just throw out. Trust me, I have never met a Pad Thai I wouldn't eat until today! It tasted like pure vinegar and water. Very small portion with a complete lack of shrimp.
2. PRA RAM LONG SONG- The sauce was very thin and watery, but otherwise was just OK. Nothing special. The chicken was RAW & undercooked! Made everyone sick!!! Again, not very much chicken, but didn't matter since it was raw anyway so im sure we were better off that way and shoukd probably be counting our blessings instead! Lol
3. PAD PED- Again another small portion with an overly watery sauce. We literally counted like 4-5 tiny pieces of eggplant in the entire meal?!? Not sure where itcwas hiding? When that's the focus of a meal, you expect at least enough to taste it. It was basically a watered down bowl of sauce with green/red peppers over rice!
The only good thing about this location is they are consistent- Consistently BAD!!!! We were ripped off twice now with $60 with of meals twice, we had to throw away due to the raw chicken and water sauces with no proteins.
This place is a joke and just hope they fold and go out of business now so no one else gets sick! This is EXACTLY why I don't like to tip on carryout orders, cuz ur tipping for food you never even tasted or tried! Just disgusting and not even close to the Troy Bankock or Sala locations. Try anything else in the entire area and you are guaranteed to have a better meal. I swear the good reviews for this place MUST be all fake! Not only worst Thai, but this could very well be one of the worst restaurants in this area.
This is the closest Thai place to me with genuinely good take-out. I will not go anywhere else. The portions are massive, the food is ALWAYS hot and tastes delicious. They are also super consistent, Iβve never been disappointed. The staff is always so so so sweet. If you havenβt ordered from here before, you should start- I promise it will be your favorite! π²β€οΈ
I enjoy the pad Thai, cow pad, and they also have some really great rice dishes but the names escape me right now.
First time ordering tonight. Great food!! Spice to order, wonder amount of food for the price and great service. Absolutely a must try!
Love this place, proportions are huge, food is always on point
The best Thai food in the area
Best Thai in Clinton Twp. I get their Pad Thai all the time and I love it.
Excellent food. Spiced to order, mild, mild plus, medium, etc.
Fast and great customer service
One of my favorite restaurants. Great service and great food β€οΈ
The portions are great, but I gotta say the flavor today was pretty lacking. I've had some really good food here, and some alright food. The only disappointment was knowing they could and have done better.
Delicious order regularly
Great food nice service
Why won't they open up inside dinning?
Soup was good but my rice was dry.
Bangkok chicken best meal ever. Best Pad Ped ever also. Great product, great portions, great prices and great people. Been eating their food for well over a decade. The bomb!!
We have ordered the Pad Thai (with chicken) from Bangkok more times than I can count and every time it has tasted delicious! They are always great about special instructions as well (mild, no peanuts, etc) and are very quick with preparing the food. We've recommended them to quite a few other people as well!
I'm not sure how Google managed to show an average of 4.5 stars. My personal experience has been 2 stars at best in terms of taste. The food is not authentic tasting at all and even the rice is not aromatic. It has been disappointing.
I love supporting small businesses and Bangkok Cuisine in Clinton Twp. is one of my faves. Nick is polite and fun. Food is always delish and order is always correct. You wont be disappointed!
First time for my husband and I to eat here. Not impressed. Ordered garlic chicken fried rice. Had a fishy taste and smell. Not smart to cook chicken and seafood on the same grill. Good thing we arenβt allergicβ¦ Drunken noodles were okay. Try Thai Fortune in Auburn Hills. They have the best as well as more food for less money.
Never had a bad dish
Bangkok is the best Thai food in Macomb township two thumbs up next time I'm ordering my food extra hot and spicy
This was my first time trying Bangkok Cuisine Express. I ordered the drunken noodles and spring rolls. The drunken noodles were very tasty and they used the perfect amount of spice for medium heat, which is the way I ordered it. The noodles were wide and coated perfectly with a very flavorful sauce. The noodles had sautΓ©ed green peppers and bean sprouts on the top that complimented the dish perfectly. The spring rolls and plum sauce were also very good, but a little smaller than ones Iβve had at other places.
In summary, I would highly recommend Bangkok Cuisine Express. I also get carry-out from Thai Delight on Hall Rd. and Khom Fai on Romeo Plank. I like all of them a lot and would definitely keep Bangkok Cuisine Express in my rotation.
Good Thai food
Great food awesome service food is always hot and fresh
One of the absolute best tasting Thai restaurants ever!!
Best Thai food in the area. I always get pad thai (usually with chicken, but sometimes I go with crab or shrimp), and it never disappoints! Portions are very generous!
Very good Thai food
Very bad food will not return ...
Bangkok chicken worst meal ive paid for and didnt get chicken
I have been going here for 15 years.
The food is fantastic. It's fairly cheap for the amount they give you too. The drunken noodle and the gang dang are particularly good.
I ordered chicken fried rice and it was awful. It smelled and tasted like raw fish. I called and asked if I can have a new one made and they said no because I ordered it through DoorDash. Like DoorDash made it!
The Bangkok chicken and drunken noodles are the best around!
Amazing food ALL the time and consistent. We especially love the drunken noodles and spring rolls, but have tried other dishes too!
Best Thai food around !! Highly recommend!!!
My husband and I placed a pretty big order Tom yum soup with chicken I ordered pad ty woon sen my husband ordered Tom yum soup soup chicken and pad see-ew scallops. That dinner was good! I had some of my dinner had stomach cramps nausea and diarrhea! Felt sick pretty much all day! Decided to eat my soup had Chicken in it my husband had his soup chicken in it. We both got sick again same symptoms! Called the restaurant today never offered any return of money a free dinner nothing just sorry! Spent 65.00 place a 8.00 tip. Never will I go to this place again. Also how sad to lose a customer of over 14 years. Would not recommend to anyone!
I don't write reviews very often however I have been going to this specific Bangkok Cuisine for years and it simply is the best Thai food in the area.
Super good
Best food and service. Only place I eat thai food. Thank you so much for the great food and service
Great staff! Always fast with takeout!
Food was amazing!
My favorite Thai food restaurant in the area, no frills as far as a fancy dining room but the food is great, good prices as well.
Please do not support this restaurant. There costumer service is very rude. I commented that my food was burned and tasted like charcoal and the manager replied that maybe I should go to another place. The lady at the register was very nasty and hostile.
Outstanding! A few co workers and I got lunch delivered today by Door Dash. Besides the driver not finding our place, everything was great. I venture very carefully to Thai food. I like spicy but thai is always so hot. I got Mild Pad Ped with Chicken (pictured below). Others got Bank Kok Chicken and a Pad Thai Chicken Hot...all were so happy with their selection.
I think I accidentally ordered the dinner thru the door dash app so I'll have to be more careful. The food was top notch! Highly suggested.
Great food, great staff and price
Exelent place
I got the drunken noodle w/wide noodles and chicken and I can honestly say it was the best asian food I've had in a very long time. I also got the 6 pc spring roll side. Everything was outstanding. I'll definitely be back again. I had enough food to make 2 big dinners.
Great food, great staff
THE best pad thai I've had in a long time :) delish the next day too! Reheats beautifully
Hands down the most delicious Thai food around. There is a reason their ratings are fantastic. You can absolutely trust a great meal!!!
Great Pad Thai
Consistently good.
Hands down the best there is. Highly recommend.
Been going here for years and it never disappoints!
Love this place. Visit every time I come to MI
I absolutely love this food! Low price, high quality! Two thumbs up for sure!
Our favorite local Thai food! We have been customers for years. There are tables to dine in (cafe style nothing fancy) and itβs always been clean and neat. We typically do carry out and our order is always quick, correct, and fresh. The staff is always in a good mood and friendly.
Great Thai food. Good prices. Fast Service. Nice size portions. Good place to get take out from. A small eat in area.
Tried calling to place an order kept getting placed on hold. Was on hold for 20 minutes so I called back same thing. After an hour of trying we decided to go somewhere else. βTake care of your customers or your competitors will.β Really disappointing as there food is great but service is horrible.
Great Tai food.
Used to absolutely love their pad tai.
Last time was not so good.
Good portions enough to feed 2ppl
Chicken pad Thai was wonderful!
The chicken was horribly overcooked.
Love shrimp pad thai and beef basil fried rice!
Our family has been coming here for years. Food is Amazing staff is always friendly and polite. Keep up the excellent service and quality!
Good food and good service
Great service. Great food, they make it fast and it's always fresh
Best place for Thai in the area. The other Bangkok cuisines donβt compare!
Drunkin noodle was supper mushy
