The sushi was so fresh and the flavors just popped!!! The drunken noodles was extremely flavorful and the heat spice was perfect. It was like a melody in the plate and it was perfect. This is the best drunken noodles I’ve had had in a very long time. I am so happy that I went here today. Everything was just great. Kudos to you guys

My wife and I were craving some Thai and sushi recently and wanted to try something new. A quick google search pulled up this gem located in Canton. From the outside it looks like an average store front restaurant but inside it was way cooler. From the low lit dining area to the awesome sushi bar this place has a lot of character.

We were there very early on a week day so there was no issue in being sat or prompt service. The menu is easy to read with pictures of house sushi along with nice descriptions. We opted for two rolls, some fried rice and curry pad thai. Let me tell you it was all very, very good. Absolutely no complaints.

All in all it is a fine little Thai place hidden in plain sight. I will definitely be back and am encouraging others to stop in.

Good selection of wine and spirits. Ramunei drinks. If you like Japanese food, you will not be disappointed.

Nice atmosphere, great friendly service. The shrimp terriaki, miso soup, and crab rangoon were delicious. My friend had the volcano rolls and said they were good. Prices were moderate and reasonable.

Curry pad thai had no flavor or spice. Sushi rolls were not great either.

Wow. Tried the fried rice with coconut milk because I have never seen this on a menu before. It was amazing!!! I'll be back! Going to also try to find a recipe ;)

Food was ok but there were three people working when we were there and all of them were addicted to their phones. That kinda created a weird/dead atmosphere at the restaurant since their lighting was already dark.

Our server was a Chinese lady and she was very short with her answers and not helpful for us. We had a young child traveling with us so I asked her if they offer an option to order a boiled egg or some extra pieces of avocado. She said “No, we don’t have avocado.” first so I asked her to ask the kitchen if there’s a way since THEY SELL SUSHI ROLLS with avocados everywhere…lol
The sushi chef said “yes” for avocados & we were happy to pay for it.
I would give 5 stars IF they had a professional server but that wasn’t the case so I had to give 3 and these stars are for the food.

Best veggie pad ped I've ever had! Picked 6 in heat level and it was perfect. Frequent diner.

We have been customer for a long time even during Covid, we were supporting their business. Unfortunately very rude and not a kid family environment. My special need daughter was treated poorly and we didn’t feel any sympathy or understanding even when we talked to the « Manager ».
When you own a business, be human before thinking about how you can make more money.

If you want kids portions for full price, this is the place to go. No meat or gravy in my yellow curry, but loads and loads of cheap, uncooked veggies. Do yourself a massive favor and go to Lai Thai which is 5 mins away. Or better yet, hit Thai Ocha in Plymouth. It’s like Michelin Star food compared to this dump.

This place has decent food, but terrible customer service. Employees were extremely unprofessional and rude. We were a family of 6 and were asked to leave because our 5 and 6 year old had small slushies in their hand (it was almost 94 degrees out). The manner in which we were asked to leave was extremely unkind and rude. We will not be spending our money here anymore. I recommend Kabuki Sushi on Ford Road; very friendly and professional and kind.

If you are looking for a place that accommodates customers with special needs, then you definitely need to go somewhere else. One of the staff members was very rude. He screamed at our face “customers are not always right” when we complained about the way he treated our daughter with special needs. The worst is that the manager, who was standing right there, did not say a word! Our last visit to this restaurant!

It's been a long while (over a year) since I've been here. I was never previouslydisappointed. Today was very different. I pivked up carry out. My shrimp shumai appetizer was gummy like it had been frozen and reheated. My shrimp and chicken pad thai was very saucey, and not the sweet spicy flavor that I know so well, it was very tangy and no spiciness. My shrimp in the pad thai were soo overcooked, hard and rubbery. The cashier was friendly, atmosphere was nice but not enough to make up for my meal.

This place is my go to for sushi and coconut fried rice. Service is fast and fantastic. Food is delicious. The best thing about them is their consistency with flavours and quality.

I ordered tofu pad Thai. It was drenched in some type of slimy sauce. I couldn’t eat it.

Told the waitress who seemed distressed and said she had to speak with the manager. Manager immediately accused me of eating most of it….. because all the vegetables were gone.
I’m like bro- I ordered tofu. Then he says well you ate the salad and we will charge for that. Next time ask for less sauce on the pad Thai, most people request it.

There was great customer service and it was made fast. However, the food was just unremarkable. It was the most bland sushi and Thai that I’ve ever had. I’ve asked for extra spicy and it was not spicy at all.

I am a sushi snob from California and am often disappointed in the lack of good quality sushi in the state, but Aki has some of the best quality and prices in the area. Sushi tastes fresh and is plated well. Also their Veggie Coconut Fried Rice is a touch of heaven with perfectly cooked rice, veggies, egg, and uniquely seasoned- so don't over do the soy sauce or you will miss the delicate flavor . Reminds me of a rice dish I used to order when my daughter was in college in IL and have never had anything quite like it until now.

I frequent this place too much for all the drama they cause me! It's often something with these people!!
...I arrive at 8:25, and I check the time that they close (9:00!)well I go in and the attendent seats me. And before the waiter comes he saunters by and says "we close at 9:00 is that okay?" Its just me so I give him a thumbs up - not the first finger I thought of!

Got the beef bento special which includes a miso soup, California roll, and gyoza. Beef didn't have much flavor, miso soup was not as tasteful either, and I can say the same for the California roll. Price was pretty good as you get quite a bit of everything for a great price but I'm not too sure it's worthy of another try. May have been an off night, who knows

The sushi was good , the gang ped was not very little chicken the sauce was too thick probably needed more coconut milk,not very tasty ,largely cut vegetables, the food was warm at best.and I got my miso soup after my sushi...which the soup was ok but way to salty.. I work across many city's and eat Thai food 2 times a week this is subpar. They should just stick to the sushi, the environment is nice too. Just not the Thai

Best Tai food

My boyfriend and I visit here almost every week for the excellent Thai and sushi. We have had everything on the Thai menu, several sushi rolls, appetizers, bentu boxes, hot pot, and drinks and never once had anything less than delicious! The house salad dressing is to die for... And the staff is always super friendly!

Food is over all fine , but they can provide more veggie options

I go to Aki after work, for dates, and just for fun with my friends. Every single time, the service is amazing and the food is amazing as well. I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know! :)

An amazing dining experience is yours when ever you walk in to this place. The food is really good from there sushi to their Thai and to their bento box. The service is great and the food is even better. The parking lot is pretty decent and not to busy even though the place is located in a strip mall. The atmosphere of this place is casual and relaxing. Overall it's a great experience and worth stopping by if you are in the area or just want to try someplace new.

Average food & poor service. I ordered the sushi boat for two. It was average.
However, the Pinto box with the steak was below average.
The orders came incomplete & we had to literally chase the waitress to get the rest of it. We had to ask for everything, including the water.

Super clean and not a super long wait

I tried seafood soup noodles the other day in lunch . Looks like the frozen sea food were not deicing and cleaned. The soup smell exactly like pipe water smell from the plastic bags. Not recommend

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time and tried their sushi and Pad Thai dishes. The sushi was definitely a standout . It was fresh and delicious and I would definitely come back for more in the future. Unfortunately, the Pad Thai didn't quite live up to my expectations in terms of flavor. While it wasn't bad, it didn't have the same depth of flavor that I've experienced at other restaurants. The prices at this restaurant are quite reasonable and the service was good as well. Our waitress was attentive and helpful throughout our meal. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for their sushi.

Consistantly fresh and delicious!

We’ve only been in canton half a year and this is our go to sushi place! They’re excellent and with so many choices. The wait is never too bad for carry out either. The pad Thai is okay, and the curry is great!

I came here because it was nearby. Service was prompt and given a menu and then I ordered. I was made aware that the toro sashimi was not in stock which is usual for a sushi place unless like ronin and even for my last 2 visits they were out of I :( anyway this place was solid but probably won’t come back

I understand inflation, i understand risen price in everything, but sad part is when u change the quality of your food quantity of the food and raise the price all at the same time. And than have the audacity to lie and say “dont come here if u no like the price.”

I will accept paying more but when I have been coming for more than 4 yrs and you are saying I dont know what I am talking about is just rude and bad service. The chicken smells in any dish u’ll try, and smells BAD the sushi isn’t worth it, I will get better sushi at sams or krogers and pay less also. I am not even dining in and I paid $70 for four rolls of sushi! NOT WORTH IT. Save your money!

Chicken so they serve Halal thai dishes, but it is limited. Love the curry pad thai, Dirty mouth, and buttina roll. The size of the sushi is also perfect, not small like other places, price is a little high, but you get satisfied with what you are served. This place is perfect for quantity and A+ on quality!

The only thing I was sad about during my dining experience is that I finished my food and didn’t have some to save because it was that amazing. You know the expression a party in your mouth than you can imagine how good this food is. The prices are wonderful so you get a bang for your buck. The sushi is prepared in the traditional way with experts who capture the whole culture in every bite. The drunken noodles was a taste you can’t beat. But the best thing that I would recommend is the curry pad Thai. This curry pad Thai was the best I have ever had in my years of eating anything, I was just sad I finished it because I didn’t have more to enjoy. The spice level, the flavor profile, how every ingredient compliments one another is perfect.

I love this place. The food is fabulous every time I go no matter what I order….. fried rice, sushi, noodles, etc. Many dishes you can choose your level of heat- 1 to 10. It’ll be on the spicy side, so take heed. The staff is always friendly. Rachel will even occasionally box up my food for me. 😊 Be aware that they are closed from 3-4:30 during the week.

I would give this place a 5 because the food is SO GOOD, but the customer service can be better. They rush you to sit down. They rush you to order and even start taking the menu from you. You can’t even finish explaining what you want before they start reaching for it. Customer service needs to improve, after all I am spending money at your establishment.
