Modern Thai-Inspired fast casual restaurant
After showing my receipt and pics of the food I received, they offered a discount on my next meal. Pic shows 30 bucks worth of food made wrong according to the receipt. Don't leave here without making them open the tightly tied bag to inspect your order. Customer Service here sucks!
**Quick and Delicious!**
Both Pad Thai and Fried Rice are great dishes.
Try the Curry Pad Thai and No Thai Fried Rice with the flaming level if you like it spicy. I prefer it with the beef.
Since the portions are relatively large, they provide you with a food container. Just grab it for yourself at the nearby drink station.
The price starts at $12.50!
Haven't been to this location in a while but I enjoyed it. I usually order the drunken noodles and spring rolls. This time I ordered the same with also the nogu rolls to try and they are like a fried mini cheese steak rolls! It was delicious!
I went for lunch with a few colleagues. I ordered Pad Thai Curry and I asked for medium plus spice level. The food was ready in about 3 minutes, not sure how they made it that quickly. The Pad Thai Curry was good, but barely had any spice at all, I actually donβt even think you could call that spice level mild. I think Iβll go back again and ask for extra hot and then that dish should be really good. For now, I canβt give this place more than three stars. I go to Thai restaurants when I have a craving for spicy food and this was not spicy. Iβll give it one more shot and see how it is.
The price of food here is inline with most other Thai restaurants, I donβt have any issue with what they charge.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at No Thai!, and my experience was nothing short of delightful. This cozy Thai restaurant not only satisfied my cravings but also exceeded my expectations in terms of flavor, speed of service, and overall ambiance.
For my meal, I ordered the Thai Fried Rice with chicken and Pad Thai with beef, both classic Thai dishes.
The Thai Fried Rice with chicken was a burst of savory goodness. The chicken was tender and perfectly cooked, and the rice had that ideal balance of moisture and fluffiness. What really stood out was the sauce β it was a harmonious blend of flavors, offering just the right amount of sweetness and a subtle sour tang. This dish truly showcased the chef's skill in creating a well-rounded taste experience.
However, the star of the show was the Pad Thai with beef. This dish was an absolute masterpiece. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the beef was tender and packed with flavor. What truly made this Pad Thai memorable was the sauce. It was rich, ricey (as you rightly pointed out), and the perfect balance of sweetness and sourness. Every bite was a culinary delight, and I couldn't get enough of it.
One of the aspects that impressed me the most was the speed of service. The food arrived at my table remarkably quickly after I placed my order, allowing me to indulge in my meal without any unnecessary delays.
The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, contributing to a pleasant dining environment. A standout feature was the availability of sriracha and chili sauce on the tables. This meant that I could customize the spice level to my liking, a thoughtful touch that enhanced my dining experience.
In conclusion, my visit to No Thai! was a culinary adventure filled with flavorful delights. The Thai Fried Rice with chicken and Pad Thai with beef were nothing short of sensational, and the sauces truly stole the show. If you're a fan of Thai cuisine and crave a taste of authentic and delicious dishes, No Thai! is a must-visit. The combination of excellent food, swift service, and a clean atmosphere makes it a top choice for anyone looking to savor the flavors of Thailand. I can't wait to return for another mouthwatering experience!

Great service, cannot say anything else they really work hard here and I appreciate everything they do.

yummy food - good portions, very fast

Zero stars is more appropriate here. Ordered a vegetarian dish. Asked for the plum dipping sauce for the veggie spring rolls, which is advertised as the accompaniment to the dish. When it was given, (it was def not a plum sauce by look) we asked if it was veggie, they said they couldnβt say and left it at that. Food arrived suspiciously quick- within 3 mins. First bite, tofu was chewy and barely lukewarm. Bit into spring roll, and discovered it was completely cold middle- literally freezer-cold. When we explained our dissatisfaction, was told βthatβs not a problemβ - I beg to differ, IT IS A PROBLEM. They offered to fix it, but of course I assume that means, microwave it, therefore politely asked for a refund. Good service would have been an additional tip refund, which of course was not offered. I would avoid this joint.
Had the worst drunken noodles ever! Could you have put more garlic in it?! Unlikely...It was like eating noodles covered in garlic flavored sawdust sauce. It was inedible.
Love No Thai.
They serve a good plate of noodles and they are always nice
Ordered beef potato curry stir fry. Potato was excellent, beef was dry and almost flavorless. Disappointed. Location downtown is so much better.
Consistently delicious, hot & fresh!
fast, convenient, tasty, maybe the best of the three locations imo, potato curry, curry pad thai, and curry fried rice are great
It's hit or miss here. Today it was awful.
I just don't know how you guys screw up a simple order
I asked for a dine-in plate, and the cashier agreed to it, but they still put my food in a takeout box and told me the dishwash was closing soon. If you can't offer dine-in then insist on it from the beginning.
Asian students up there They got real Ann Arbor up there. cannot stress how good this is critical critical critical
I mean this as an endorsement. No Thai is the McDonald's of Thai food. I go here every week.
Fantastic!
Just picked up a sweet and spicy chicken and it was inedible. Whoever cooked that chicken left it in the fryer over night not even a fork could penetrate it. Save your $20 and go get real Thai food.
Health inspector needs to visit. Not ok for chefs to be eating while cooking.
Got over charged once a and food borne illness previously here, lowering my rating
Vegetables aren't as fresh as you would hope. I've gone a couple times now and have been disappointed both times.
One of the most popular restaurant near north campus! Love the curry there and they are very friendly. Usually grab my dinner there when pass by.
Very fast preparation. Crab wontons are to die for. Clean, small restaurant. Great service and wonderfully prepared dishes. Large portions.
I ordered Pad Thai with added broccoli (no protein) & found two pieces of chicken in my food while eating it. Very disappointed! I am vegetarian
Great value for the money. It's Americanized Thai and it's not gourmet (fancy) but it tastes good, big portions, under $20/person delivered slaps in 2023

Waited forever for our food, at least a 40 minute wait, for lunch. Didn't appreciate that. Food was regular, not special.
Disappointingly bad thai food. Lots of better places around town. Pad Thai was greasy and bland.
When I tell you fast, efficient, and delicious, this place is it! It's great food and has very speedy service! Their Thai tea is sweet but refreshing! Their pad thai curry was fun! It had just the right amount of heat and sweetness that I crave!
They have amazing food and a really friendly staff. Always a good time here.
Donβt know why but this locations food was absolutely gross when compared to one south of town. Zero flavor and meat was rubbery.
I just want everyone to know how much I love No Thai, and I could eat it everyday. In fact, I have eaten it everyday and on the last day I came here. I tried it once and tried it twice and both times I WAS DISSAPOINTED. They need to get with their cook team at the Big house location because the flavor is not there. I am not sure if they are not adding enough of the sauce or what but its just not there. I feel like I am getting two different ingredients. I even got lunch with my colleague was excited to try the Pad Thai! She was dissapointed! The only thing that actually tasted the same was the crab rangoon. I am so irritated because I work so close to this location and have to go all the way across town just to get the yummy goodness that made me a fan in the first place. Fix it up everyone.
The service is very friendly and efficient. The food can be hit or miss but I'll still eat it regardless!
I like the fried rice!
Hey people still pay to eat here, show some customer service maybe? What's with the temper?
had the pad Thai curry and won tons. Food was hot, delivered fast.
I ordered green curry and the vegetables were very nicely cooked. But OMG, so sugary! I ordered hot and there was not a lot of spice or other flavor other than sugar. Also, not enough rice. Why be stingy with the rice? It's cheap.
give wrong food
OMG! This place had the best food!!! We just loved it and Iβm planning a return trip soon!! Loved loved the shrimp fried rice! Was awesome! Iβve been to Thailand and it was as good as fried rice Iβve had there! So do yourself a favor and eat there! Great staff too!
Quick, delicious and convenient. My favorite location to order from because they add that extra something and the dining room is bigger. All locations slap!! Top notch!!
I will love to give this place a 5 Stars when the guy with the wild hair is not working every time I stop by to order my food he always mess up my order or never give me the points, as I'm telling him how he is messing up his own co- worker looks at me and say he don't know what he is doing, any other time I come in there they when he is not working I never have a problem
Came here for the first time, was excited to try the sweet/spicy chicken. My friend told me about this place so she brought me here to try it. I felt bad for my friend because her food was hard so she asked for a fresh plate and her food came out super spicy. We both ordered the same food and spicy level (weak mild) She gave me a piece to try it and it was super hot! We spoke with the cashier she was very nice but unfortunately the manager didn't want to remake the dinner for my friend. It's very sad because the food was good but the manager wasn't so friendly/understanding.
I asked for weak/mild seasioning on the chicken that was sweet and spicy, it dry and hard pices that broke my teeth, because it was not made fresh. I took it back and the cook made it extra extra extra hot so I could not eat my food. He did not correct his 2nd mistake either and told me to live with it. Was this done on purpose? I will tell all my friends to save there money and not eat here.
Iβve ordered from here a few times and each time the customer service has been terrible. Theyβve repeatedly messed up my order, and one of the new staff has even made me repeat myself so many times while still managing to get my order wrong! Another staff member was also rude and rushed when taking orders. Another one didnβt even offer an apology after messing up my order and making me wait another 15 minutes when I was already in a rush to get home. Food quality for the same dish also varies a lot depending on the day. Really disappointing overall.
Great food and a good place for a quick lunch.
Guy with the red beard that works the front is rude!
Love the food here and the spice levels
Is a good place to eat when they get your order right
Food is good. The cashier with beard is extremely rude & unprofessional
Place is always amazing. I love the chicken ππ
A favorite of ours when we get back in Ann Arbor. Every order is made to order but with a minimum of time. The portion is always generous. As good as the food taste I couldn't eat it all. The spice levels I think are geared toward campus students. I'm in my mid 50's and usually get no or little spice. Even the no spice is very flavourful, it just doesn't have the spice kick.
Always love the pad thai.
We ordered takeout from here and everyoneβs food was great. We had a smattering of things across the menu but the sweet n spicy chicken was really good!
Food is good, pricey though for fast food!
I always get chicken pad thai. It is a pretty robust lunch that will spoil my dinner later.
Always super fast, delicious food! Lots of food for the price.
Among the best places to have Thai food, but the taste of the food changes with each visit.
This specific location is a hit or a miss (mostly a miss). The food could taste good or could be extremely dry. Not sure if it's related to who cooks it. Today we ordered two dishes and both were too dry
Super greasy Thai food. Almost broke my tooth on their peppercorns.
Great food and easily two meals worth. A great place wether you.are a student or just visiting. Free parking lot.
Quick, cheap, still delicious food, good for students. I will come back and use my coupon!!!!!
The cran wontons are great, drunken noodles are somehow different every time!
I ordered noodles with only shrimp they added chicken and shrimp.
Asked for another pad Thai they gave me rice with Chicken.
The workers donβt wear anything to cover their hair and beards
Not buying from it again.
Speed service, medium spicy is enough for most people, more importantly, there is also pineapple inside the fried rice, very special and tasty food.
Great food and a great value. Very busy, line out the door. Try to get there when they're not busy.
Foods always great and comes out quickly! (5-10 mins)
Staff is a bit unfriendly, portion size is a bit variable. Pad Thai, Pad Sewu and fried rice are pretty good though.
Best pad thai around !!
Restaurant is very careful with their food preparation for people with allergies and celiacs.
Generous portions and tasty food.
The fried rice is okay anyway. Not that impressive but good for its price. Iced tea is not bad.
I ordered food delivered to my apartment. I requested a contactless delivery and for it to be dropped off at my door. The delivery driver texted me that he had dropped it off so I immediately when to go grab it. My food was neither at my front door or the door the my building. I went inside and called to explain my situation. The person who answered my call was rude and tried to tell me it was at my door several times. He finally said he would send a new one and then hung up on me. Terrible experience
I've been a fan for so many years. The food is superb and the atmosphere is great. I stopped in today and they had my order ready the second I finished paying. I can't recommend this restaurant enough.
Good price, and food was made quickly. Staff was friendly.
The best No Thai in the area by far. Great staff, wonderful food.
Even after trying the entire menu, I can't say a single bad thing!
Go have some delicious food!!
I have eaten at this restaurant for years and enjoyed it. Today I attempted to call ahead for dinner multiple times; employees picked up and every time said "Please hold!" and then put it down for 5-10 minutes, never ever returning to the call. It was astonishing to try this 5 times in a row for half an hour with exactly the same response. Putting this feedback here in hopes that the owner or manager sees it and makes positive process/policy changes. Either turn your voicemail on, or create a process by which you go back to your on-holds in a certain amount of time (2-3min at the very most), even if you still can't take an order.
The pad thai curry is awesome
No Thai never disappoints!! My husband & I are in Ann Arbor at least once a month for appointments (we live an hour away) & always eat there!
Green curry tastes good. Love the sauce. (but it's not "green curry" but stir fried veggies haha)
Wildly-varying (if existent) spice standards.
Consistency is everything in the food-service insdustry.
I felt wobbly for days and traumatized after eating a meal from this restaurant. π
The food is as good as the other locations but the service here is above and beyond the rest. The people were very nice and seemed to enjoy their jobs.
Place should be cleaner.
I miss those Drunken noodles! I wanna go back. If I'm ever in AA again, I'd definitely give it a go again.
Great tasting and great prices for Thai noodle and rice dishes. Always a pleasure for takeout or a quick dine in.
Love the Thai Green curry .. Vegan π delicious vegetables and tasty sauce
The food was fresh and amazing. I will definitely visit again this week.
I got the #1 medium spice. The rice noodles with the chicken are incredible and the perfect level of heat for me! The price is fair considering the taste and portion size you recieve.
Very good takeout option near north campus, the recipes are very good, but it can be a little inconsistent depending on who is cooking it up.
I'd give it 6 stars if I could
I generally love Nothai and always get their pad thai curry, but I just placed a delivery order tonight at 6:45, with the expected delivery time to be 7:50. Itβs 8:40 and my food still hasnβt come. I called them and they said they were down a driver tonight but they did not offer to reimburse me, which I would expect at almost an hour after my expected delivery timeβ¦ otherwise they are usually fast and good
It's just bland and uninspired fast food. Cheap, but you get what you pay for. It's in the same category as McDonald's or Burger King, maybe even worse because I do go back to McDonald's from time to time but I have no desire to go back to No Thai.
I would give zero stars if I could! So it was my first time trying this location. The guy taking my order seemed rushed and not too friendly. I ordered drunken noodles with chicken. After eating half of my entree, I bit into something that seemed hard and I took it out and look at what was inside my food! It was a staple!!!!! How disgusting! I will absolutely never order from here again. If the owner is reading reviews, I recommend having a very serious talk with all of your employees about quality control and about delivering a better customer service experience!
Fast and friendly service. Food is better at this location vs other No Thai restaurants on campus
I love No Thai it's a great place I like how they make your food in front of you and it is so good
My favorite location, customer service is great and the food is delicious! Potato curry with tofu is my go to! (Please tip your service workers generouslyπ€)
Somehow my order was skipped. Donβt know why two bowls of noodle took more than half hour, when a lot of people behind me already got their orders. I wonβt come here again unless they take my phone call.
Food is always good!!
Green curry taste good. Good food overall. Nice service. Green curry could have been less sweet.
Pretty good curry, but runs on the sweeter side and sometimes the curry itself is a little thin. I usually go for the beef gang pak.
Food was delicious and really hot.
I love No Thai! Food is always fresh, delicious and huge portion sizes. The only reason they donβt get 5 stars is they are a hit or miss for actually having foods I like in stock, which is typically the appetizers like the egg rolls and the thai iced tea. I also wish they had nutritional information available but thatβs really a personal preference. Otherwise, I highly recommend!
Unfortunately my pad thai was dry and made incorrectly. I asked for not peanuts and it was loaded with peanuts. I asked for it to be hot for my level of spice, it was not. I was sad this happened and just tried to make the best of it.
Hands down the best thai food in Ann Arbor! The food is nicely prepared and delicious specially their fried rice and sweet and spicy chicken (served with boiled rice). Place also resembles some of the non-spacious fast food chains you will find if you travel to countries in Asia. One downside is their parking. It is moderatly difficult to find parking near the area so pre-orders are highly recommended. It also has their chain restaurants throughout Ann Arbor and I'm sure they are also serving similar quality of food. So, if you are in Ann Arbor area, definitely visit the place and I'm sure you will love it.
Food is great, staff are nice.
I've never been let down. Excellent food and service. Plus it's on North Campus, one of the best scenic areas in Ann Arbor. This area is less busy than central campus.
Great menu and good prices. One thing I really like is that their heat levels are accurate. Lots of places give you the option of heat (spice) level, but the results are often much hotter or milder than expected. No Thai hits it just right. Oh, and their self-serve Thai ice tea is awesome!
Food poisoning after ordering on august 30th, 2021. Awful. Will not eat again.
Just let me order pickup online. How is this difficult
The service and staff are very good. Didn't like the food though (ordered Pad Thai). Have been to hundreds of Thai restaurants.
Very good food.
The best Thai food in town! Itβs probably better than Thailand. Lol
Thought it was delicious! The crab cheese was soooo yummy. Also the bowl I got was medium and the heat wasn't too much. I'll be back
Yummy food actually really good
Ugh, maybe I'm spoiled from having regular access to good, authentic Thai food in LA, but this meal left me wishing I was back home. Pad Kee Mao, or Drunken Noodles are a dish I've been perfecting my own recipe on for decades and this place should be ashamed calling this dish by that name. Way too wet, ridiculously sweet, chicken didn't taste fresh and was overcooked and tough. In general, the flavors were all wrong, a few random chunks of bell pepper and a stray green onion just seemed like a pathetic afterthought. The spring rolls were okay, but the dipping sauce was thin and flavorless. The 'yoga flame' spice level was pretty weak; Dhalsim would like to kick you guys in the face.
No pickup location in Ann Arbor, only delivery.
Food was hot. Need to give a senior discount. Fast service.
My expectations were low and I donβt usually post bad reviews but this was the worst pad Thai I have ever had. The scallions were thrown in 2 inch long stems with the roots still on, the sauce was the consistency of water, the βhot yogaβ spice wasnβt even spicy and the beef seemed like boiled slices without seasoning. Quite literally lives up to the name of βnoβ Thai
