I ordered pickup and was pleasantly surprised given the affordability. The way they serve their takeout is beautiful and practical. Their food is delicious and they have great vegetarian options. The server who gave me my order was very polite.

We had dinner here two nights ago. The service was very friendly and the food was excellent. If you’re someone who enjoys the combination of sweet, savory, and spicy, I recommend the curry duck.
Will return when we’re in the neighborhood again.

My husband and I were on vacation with our 4-month-old, who for the first time slept through the meal, allowing us to enjoy each other's company for the first time in months. Our candle blew out on our table, and within moments one of the wait staff came over to relight it and to say "I won't give up! I want to make sure it's romantic." This attention to detail absolutely made our night! The food was so delicious too!

Rubbery tofu, and only a few slivers of ginger, and the sauce didn't taste gingery. Agree the rice quantity is skimpy with entrees. One serving at most, so none left to have with leftover entree. In photo you can see how small the rice portion is.

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Such a treat to find excellent Thai food in Marblehead. Prices are reasonable and they also have lunch boxes. Loved the eggplant/vegetarian lunch box, drunken noodles, and green curry eggplant. The eggplant in chili sauce (lunch box) is one of the best Thai eggplant dishes I’ve had. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. And the staff was attentive and charming. Highly recommended.

The best Thai restaurant I've tried on the North Shore! Everything was excellent and very authentic, but the Khao Soi was the highlight for me. They very happily tossed a fried egg (khai dao!) on top of my wife's chicken krapow, which is always the mark of a fine Thai spot in my book 😋 🍳

Quality and gluten free

I had to order zero heat for dining companions...was pleasantly surprised by the delicious flavor...Massaman curry, Pad Thai, and especially the Indonesian fried rice.

First time here this week, great food, as good as any Thai food I have had in California :) Yellow curry was good, spicy but not over the top.

The food (when it finally came) was ok. We received multiple items we did not order (instead, not in addition). That included dishes that contained allergens we had discussed at length. Overall a disappointment. Then, after no apology, the bill had 3 boxes to check for the tip: 18, 20, or 25%. We won't be back.

Get the curries. Every time I come here I get a curry and every time it's A+. Do it.

Very good thai food

I grew up on the North Shore near Marblehead and didn't have much exposure to Thai food growing up. I moved to NYC when I was 18 and stayed there for 15+ years...eating a LOT of very good Thai food over those years. But every time I would come back and visit my family I was always disappointed that there still wasn't any decent Thai food in the area (in fact, I couldn't even find edible Thai food). I recently packed up my family and moved back to the North Shore and was so pleasantly surprised the first time we ordered from Le Ros. This place is a gem. It's consistently excellent every time we take out or dine in. The people who work there are lovely as well and the decor is pretty hip for Marblehead.

So, if you like Thai (or think you don't because you've only had the bad offerings of past local establishments) I highly recommend you check them out; you won't be disappointed.

The location is on a side street, so not a ton of visibility, and selfishly wanna keep these guys in business so that my family and I can keep enjoying their food for many years to come.

We are visiting here from Philadelphia, where there are many fine Thai restaurants. This is some of the best Thai food we’ve ever eaten.

Highly recommend the Panang Curry and sticky rice. Great service and delicious food. Definitely worth trying!

We came for dinner and had a great experience. Staff was super friendly and the food was delicious…better than anything Thai we’ve had in Boston and as good as anything we’ve had in NYC. Definitely recommend the Panang curry, it’s delicious. We’ll be back!

I have now enjoyed dining in twice and once take out. My spouse and I have drastically different tastes in food; her very mild and myself very spicy. The food is fantastic. The staff is friendly and careful to honor requests for severe gluten reaction and for spice levels. This place is a gem.

Made dinner reservations for four tonight ( Thursday ) at 6:15pm after getting a very positive recommendation from a friend . Unfortunately , we ( at least I ) did not have the same positive experience . Reservations really were not necessary as there were only two or three other tables occupied when we arrived . Ordered fried calamari , scallion pancakes , Mongolian beef , House beef fried rice , one half curry duck and red curry duck dishes …. Scallion pancakes were excellent . Calamari was also very good, but could have had more calamari and less fried pickles ( very different from the website menu photo ) . The Mongolian beef was very tough - far from tender , and certainly not worth the price , given the quantity and quality . The fried rice was very good but the beef in it was the same tough beef used in the Mongolian beef dish . Again , not satisfying enough to justify the price . I didn’t taste either of the duck dishes , but was told by the other three people that did eat each dish , that one was good and the other so so . I don’t remember which was which. On a more positive note , the staff was very attentive and the food was served in a timely manner . We didn’t stay late , and were the only people left in the restaurant when we did leave . Before we left , the heat was turned off - or at least way down - as it became noticeably cold . I appreciate that we were the last ones in the restaurant and the need to conserve on heating expenses , but really……. no heat ? It is unlikely that I will return . I will go to another restaurant where I can leave with the feeling of satisfaction that it was money well spent . I did not get that feeling at Le Ros . Sorry , PT .

The food is really good, but the business is a disaster. Delivery times are ridiculously long, and even then, always late. Expect 1.5 hours for any order.They also won't answer the phone when your order is late.

Le Ros is my new favorite restaurant! Without a doubt the most delectable Thai cuisine I’ve had. Can’t beat the prices (especially for the luxurious town of Marblehead MA) and the ambience inside is gorgeous. And what would a restaurant be without its staff? Nicest people ever. Highly highly recommend!!

So artfully crafted flavors of the food. I had beef curry, chicken pad Thai and dumplings and I was amazed at how good it was. I’m from Denver, CO and the Thai food we get there pales in comparison… I would eat here all the time if I lived here. Yum!

Really wanted to give Le Ros 5 stars, but when we ordered takeout, we received a comically small container of rice for a curry dinner. This was barely enough rice for 1/3 of the meal.

Best Thai food in the area, khao soi noodles were everything and better, shumai we’re fresh and juicy, everything was so flavor full, hope they stay around for a while!

Every dish that my husband and I ordered tastes great, also large portion for dinner. The food came out in a timely manner. Staffs are very friendly and very helpful. We will definitely go back there.
