Thai restaurant
SO GOOD. There is nothing bad on this menu. EVERYTHING IS GREAT. I love a block away but I’d drive 500 miles to eat here. Best Thai food in the greater Boston area. My favorite. Keep up the good work!
Green duck curry special was amazing. Lovely crispy fried duck atop a bowl full of a curry stew containing lovely stir fried vegetables like onion, eggplant, and green beans, served alongside a pyramid of rice.
Like eating a warm, spicy hug.
Spot is really nice. Small but tidy. Was seated immediately when I stopped by on a Monday night at 6:30PM
Fabulous experience! The service was wonderful & the food was not only delicious, but so beautifully presented. We had a variety of yummy apps & our favorites were the crab rangoons, spring rolls, chicken satay, & shumi. The chicken pad thai & vegetable fried rice were outstanding! Our first visit to Thai Noodle Cafe will definitely not be our last. Can't wait to go back & eat out on the new patio!
Just visited Thai Noodle Cafe for the first time this past weekend. Owners were extremely friendly and customer oriented. The restaurant had a fun and colorful atmosphere. Loved everything about the food including the presentation. My son who is usually a picky eater, raved about the scallion pancakes and we really enjoyed the crab rangoon. I am a big fan of curry and the yellow chicken curry is the best I've tasted. Wish I didn't live out out state and will definitely be eating here again on my next trip to the Boston area.
I wanted to love this place as it seemed like a simple Thai place within walking distance from home. Sadly the food was truly disappointing. I generally love Thai food and always order more or less the same thing so I have many comparison datapoints for these dishes. In particular the yellow curry I ordered which is often a favorite of mine was truly bad. It both lacked flavor and the vegetables in it were very undercooked to the point that the carrots and yam were nearly raw. The pad se ew was better but very oily and the spring roles had this very thick not tasty wrap. I won’t eat here again as did not seem like an off night as much as just a mediocre restaurant more generally.
Great food, lovely family.
Fantastic
Really basic pad Thai, no green onion/lime/ bare minimum

This was very very mid. I just move to the neighborhood, and was hoping to find a yummy Thai place close by,l. The pad see you was somewhat tasty, but very small, and barely any of the Chinese broccoli, the soup I ordered was almost inedible, overwhelmingly greasy just seemed like a seasoning packet.
Great and authentic food
Wanted to try this Thai place and ordered the chicken Thai basil rice heard it was good from a friend, was about to eat it and found 2 strings of hair YUKS!! never again don’t order from here I couldn’t believe that it would end up nasty!!! Waisted $36 w/among other dishes like lo-main hardly any noodles stuffed with all veggies, I threw both dishes in the garbage…
My experience at Thai Noodle Cafe on Belmont Ave was unfortunately quite disappointing. Despite the promising ambiance and welcoming atmosphere, the food failed to meet expectations. The Alladin dish, touted as a specialty, the chicken notably overcooked and dry. It seemed as though they had been left sitting out for too long, resulting in a lackluster texture and taste. Additionally, the overall presentation left much to be desired. While the service was polite, it couldn't compensate for the underwhelming quality of the dishes. Overall, my visit left me with the impression that Thai Noodle Cafe has some work to do in terms of consistency and execution in order to truly deliver on its potential.
The quality of food has gone down so low. We ordered red Thai curry- severely watered down, tofu was stale and had an awful smell and taste to it. Pretty bad quality food. Don't waste you money ordering from this place.
We we’re disappointed by the food. I ordered take out for a special dinner and based on the reviews thought it would be good. The food wasn’t fresh and didn’t taste so nice. We ordered a variety of plates with protein. It was more noodles than protein.
Not actually open Tuesday. Was able to order for pickup through their site but when I got there it was closed. Luckily I chose pay in store.
Came here for dinner after looking up the reviews. Atmosphere and service was good. Food could have been better had it not been so salty.
Tasty yellow curry. Not expensive. Fast service
Small place but cozy for dine in, quick take out, amazing quality food!
Everything was super delicious and beautifully presented (crab rangoons, pad see ew with shrimp, and green curry)! Perfect portions and quick too :)
Do not order Green Curry Lo Mein!! Very disappointed!! I've been visiting this restaurant many times. Most of their dishes are good. Today was my first time ordering the Green Curry Lo Mein. It was super disappointing. The noodles are dry, no sauce on it. Also, there are very few vegetables(several stripes of red bell pepper, bamboo, and 3 small leaves of basil) in it. It's basically noodles and a few fried tofu. I was like eating DRY NOODLE. DON'T DESERVE ANY PENNY! I didn't even want to take a photo until I decided to leave this review
Not the best Thai food by any means but it’s affordable.
Great place for Thai food in the Belmont/Watertown area. While they do a lot of takeout orders, their dine in experience was really great. The pad see-ew was delicious and their spring rolls and gyoza were very good as well. Try the Mango over ice for a nice drink pairing.
Taste excellent, I recommend people should try it. Maybe some people don't like, but to me it's good and taste
We had the Tom kha noodle soup, pad Thai and another dish with fried noodle and chicken. It was really good. We sat inside. The place was a little small but cozy and they have outdoor seating as well. It's colourful and nice. I would definitely go there again to try some other dishes they have on the menu. Overall it was a good experience :)
Absolutely delicious! Definitely adding this cozy spot to my regular places, yum!
Thumbs down..First time was last time...place hardly looks open for business with 2 feet of dried leaves against front door-messy inside and food was nasty-soggy scallion pancakes and drunken noodles with limp vegetables, 90% carrots-I threw half of it away and will never go there again
EDIT: Vast improvement under new management-food+ service are good. Note that portions/orders of entrees are very small + you have to pay extra to get vegetables on dishes like Drunken Noodles (beyond slivered onions and peppers)
This is such a cute restaurant! Absolutely loved sitting on the patio and the food was incredible.
I just got back from Thailand and this food was the most legit authentic food! So so fresh. Must try the deserts too!
The food is really good. I think the noodle dishes could be more flavorful, but the curry and soups are amazing! I looove the weekday lunch special. It’s such a good deal- lots of food for pretty cheap. The back porch is a nice touch.
Recently had the pleasure of eating at Thai Noodle Cafe.
It was by far the best Thai food that I have had in the area and I would highly recommend!
My favorites were the crab rangoon and the pad Thai with crispy chicken...delicious!

Awesome calamar
Great place. My wife is Thai, and we have lived a long time in Thailand; we loved the restaurant. Friendly staff, reasonable prices given 2022.
Cute little spot. Tasty pad thai. Very quick service.
A more authentic experience than most Thai places. The ingredients were fresh and the presentation very neat. Also, their dishes marked "spicy" are on the Taiwanese scale; not the American scale.
Take out is recommended during busy times as the inside seating is 15-20 at most. I didn't see a lunch menu, but could ask. My first experience here (under the new management) was enjoyable and service was prompt. I would dine there again.
I ordered the tom yum fried noodles for take out and they were SO good! Still hot when I arrived and very flavorful. I also had the gyoza and pad thai, both great, definitely coming back.
Really good food. Enjoyed the food every time.
A bit high in price for lunch and such smaller portions.
Could be post pandemic prices.
I had a wonderful dining experience at Thai Noodle Cafe. The staff is extremely nice and the service is excellent. The garlic shrimp is so flavorful and delicious and the crab rangoons are the best I've ever had!! This is my new go-to spot for authentic Thai food!
Probably take out is way better than dine in. No real table service here.
This is probably the worst take out Thai food I've ever had.
Best thai in Belmont
Best Thai food in this area, enjoyed every dishes we ordered. My daughter was enjoying her gluten free noodle soup ❤️
Best thai food in the area 👍👍👍
We love everything on their menu.
Fantastic dishes, consistently delicious across the board. Particularly excellent Pad-Se-Ew. Appreciated the options on the online menu for various levels of spice, ingredient options, etc. Fast service, well priced, very friendly staff.
The food was really authentic and the dining environment was lovely! The people who work here were super nice. Will definitely recommend this place! 😊
Stopped in here with a friend and had a delightful meal! We had spring rolls, pad thai, and pad see ew that were all delicious. The staff was friendly and the patio where we ate was lovely. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.
Thai noodle Café continues to provide tasty take out meals for my family. The food is fresh and flavorful and the service is excellent.
This place is fantastic. Had the pad see-ew and the Grapow lo mein. Both were excellent. Tried a few appetizers and they were all great. The topper was the fried bananas. SOOO good. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!
What an incredible dining experience! The food was outrageous and the friendly staff were so accommodating. Best Thai in the Boston area, hands down. Went with a big group so we were able to try a bunch of things. Each was beyond delicious. Don’t hesitate, give Thai Noodle Cafe a try!
What a tremendous experience! The service was prompt and very friendly and the food was delicious. They were very accommodating for a large group and I can’t recommend it highly enough.
My wife is from Thailand and this has become our go to spot to get the dishes she misses.
I order a chicken/ shrimp PadThai from this place, not only was delivery with DashDoor very expensive $44.00 for 1 order. Thai Noodle Cafe send me a burn Pad Thai. It looks like they scrape the burn noodles from the wok they use and sent me the burn noodle a the bottom of the pan. All the noodles were burnt. Had to throw it out! $44.00 in the Trash. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. SAVE YOUR MONEY!
Brought my dad for fathers day and the food was amazing! So fresh, service was excellent, and at a great price! Best thai food in Belmont!
The Kao Soi is outstanding
We ordered take out from Thai Noodle Cafe last weekend and it was awesome. We just heard that the shumai are being made all in house and will add that to our next order. The menu is always changing, so worth checking out what the new dishes are. I had the Thai Basil and loved it. Prices are totally reasonable, and the people who work there are great.
Wonderful service and delicious food.
Food was undercooked
Smell and taste wasn’t right
Never going back
Very dirty place
Food was disappointing
Customer service 0
I saw roaches in there
Never going back again
Fabulous experience! The service was wonderful & the food was not only delicious, but so beautifully presented. We had a variety of yummy apps & our favorites were the crab rangoons, spring rolls, chicken satay, & shumi. The chicken pad thai & vegetable fried rice were outstanding! Our first visit to Thai Noodle Cafe will definitely not be our last. Can't wait to go back & eat out on the new patio!
Each dish was tastier than the next. Fave apps were the Thai Wings (excellent spice) and calamari (great fry and nice heat). Red Curry and Pad Thai were delicious entrees. Everyone working was extra friendly, looking forward to my next meal, thx!
Amazing chicken pad thai -- super good portion size and ingredients ratio. excellent service: friendly, helpful. Really cool, colorful, and clean space. Under new management since Jan '22 and it's clear this team rocks. One of those all around great experiences you gotta leave love and support
Absolutely delicious food! I have had the pleasure of the this fantastic food a few times. I have yet to find an appetizer that is not delicious! The chicken satay and scallion pancakes are my favorite currently. The spicy basil entree is very scrumptious! The red curry was delicious too! Don't skip the mango sticky rice if you like desserts. I am so glad this place exists for delicious thai food!
I've eaten here several times and the food just gets better each time. Its clear the owners really care about making their customers happy.
When I stopped in over the weekend, they had added some new menu items, so I tried the Chicken with Honey-Lime Sauce topped with crispy kale. The chicken was cooked perfectly -- crispy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside. And I couldn't get enough of the sauce -- so yummy.
Looking forward to seeing what else is new next week!
The food is delicious! My husband & I enjoyed our meals at Thai Noodle Cafe as well as the attentive service and colorful interior. Highly recommend!
I have had the opportunity to eat at the Thai Noodle Cafe on a couple of occasions. I have found the good to be delicious and the staff attentive but not intrusive .
Now that Spring is finally arriving I am looking forward to sitting out side at their small patio. I am glad that it was recommended to me I plan to become a “regular”
Been here 4 times so far and each visit has been great. I have spent a lot of time in Bangkok and this food reminds me of the authentic Thai food i have eaten there. It's a cute dining area with a nice outdoor space. Parking is easy. Service is quick and friendly and food is delicious. This will def be my go to place for excellent Thai food!
So fresh and so flavorful! Thai Noodle Cafe hits the spot, whether you are craving your favorite classic Thai dishes or want to try something new and creative. Delicious food and warm customer service. Can’t wait to go back!
So glad we found this gem in Belmont. Had a delicious meal with my husband and our family. The employees are very sweet and attentive. Everything was delicious from the chicken satay, crab Rangoon to the pad Thai and anything with crispy chicken is a must. Can’t wait to go back to try some of the other menu items.
Not a place for sit down dining
Delicious food, large portions, reasonably priced, super friendly! I had a great experience here and will definitely be back. New ownership clearly cares about their food preparation and presentation. Thank you!
I loved this little spot! The owners were so friendly and welcoming. The authentic food was clearly prepared with love. The prices were super reasonable. Our party had Thai iced tea and a green rocket (super fun drinks) to go with crab rangoon and fish cakes (great appetizers) then tripleX chicken and pad thai (delicious, large entrees). We rolled out of there very full and very happy! I'll definitely be back. Thank you!
Delicious and authentic Thai food. Our party had various “spicy” level requests and everyone was happy and really enjoyed their food!
Seriously, I couldn't get enough of alllllll the thingsssss!!! I am such a fan of Thai food and so I have it as much as I possibly can. Because I am not Thai myself, I can not cook Thai, so I order out a lot or visit different Thai restaurants. : ) THIS ONE BY FAR IS THE BEST THAI I have had anywhere! I highly recommend it! One of the things that made it the best, IT IS FRESH!!!! The seafood, the veggies; the cooking is clean and so perfectly made with care!
Cannot say enough good things about Thai Noodle Cafe!!!! The food is absolutely amazing, I can't wait to come back again soon!
Consistently good on each visit, and the food is very fresh with great flavor, no matter what I have tried.
It is very clear that the new owners take great pride not only in their new business, but in their Thai culture as a whole.
We ordered take out here tonight and it all smelled and tasted awful. It all tastes like too much fish sauce.
Finally this place is being run by people who know and care about what they are doing! I've seen this little spot change hands probably 3 times in the last 5 years. I just went in to try the newest Thai restaurant that's there and I was super impressed! The food was DELICIOUS. Highly recommend the Tom Kha soup!! And the new decor is super cute. Will definitely be back here again 👍🏻👍🏻
We ordered drunken noodles, summer roll wraps, and pork skewers, all very delicious!
Good. Would go back again.
Scallion pancakes were really thin and a little too flaky for $8. The spicy chicken pad thai, with "extra spicy" selected, wasn't that hot, so if you want your dish actually spicy you might have to let them know. Aside from that, it was a good amount of food for the price. My friend had the indo fried rice and he said it was really good.
Perfect
This restaurant is great. The bag in which the food was packed broke, with the result that one order was lost on the way home. The restaurant insisted on replacing it right away - which was most gracious of it. The food was great and they were incredibly nice. I intend to return often.
Outstanding lunch. Had the shrimp rice soup and the chicken lo mein with broccoli. The food was fresh and superb; the service was fine; and the portions were large. I would highly recommend dining here.
Great service, incredibly friendly. When they forgot something in our order they corrected mistake.
We decided to try this place for the second time now that they have new owners. The food was ready quick, it was delicious and tasted so fresh and the staff was friendly and polite when I picked up the food. We’ll definitely be ordering again!
Great timing for order out, the food was amazing. Egg rolls are a must and everything tasted really fresh. Best thai food I've had since moving to Boston 4 years ago.
Delicious Food!
New ownership and doing a great job!
The restaurant is Amazing. I love how the inside is decorated. The service was excellent. The food was Excellent!
Great Pad Thai! Definitely an improvement over the previous owners.
A group of us had the pleasure today of ordering a variety of appetizers and dishes from this newly reopened (under new ownership) restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed everything we had. We all highly recommend you try it out!
Good Thai food there. They just changed to new owner. Nice to try and i’ll come back again. They do just take out and online delivery.
I just had a great curry dish at the Thai noodle cafe and it was really great! Very flavorful and they definitely did not skimp on the chicken. I recommend giving this place a try
Solid neighborhood Thai restaurant. Service is fast and professional.
Very small servings at a pretty high price. I wouldn’t have minded if the food was great but none of our family loved it. There is parking in front which is always nice. I may get food there again for myself if I’ll be home alone and I’m looking for something quick but won’t be getting food for the whole family.
Chicken krapow was nice size portion and good amount of spice. I look forward to trying other dishes.
This place serves absolutely delicious food. The staff was very kind and friendly to me! Awesome little cafe ~
Reliably tasty curry and delicious noodles. Don't order drinks unless you crave sugar; they're all WAY too sweet.
Good soup and price was reasonable
Delicious
Good taste.
Delivery: first time, they're " new" will update if changes. Feels unlikely. Room temp, old, & small on a Wednesday afternoon/night.
Chicken sate best & 4 is good. Miniscule sauce. Gyoza dry and never seen any that small. I won't even comment on the last one. See photos
I placed order for delivery. Food was very good. Arrived hot.
Cozy place, good location, easy to reach, roadside parking, Food - mild spicy, taste ok but NOT 100% authentic Thai taste. Service is good but a little slow(based on the time of visit - 3:00 pm I was the only my customer), price is ok a little on the higher side. Two star because the service was slow and the taste was not very authentic!
Delivery took 1hr and 40 min and they would not answer the phone so I didn’t know what was going on. Never ordering from this place again!
After a long day of yard work, we decided to order online from this cafe that had just opened I believe 3 days ago. We have not gone into the space so this review is only on the ordering, delivery and food.
We ordered online directly from the cafe and it was easy. Extensive menu with appetizers, soups, salads, noodles either fried or soups, fried rices, curry's, popular Thai plates, sides and desserts. Each selection has options and add on suggestions. It also inquires about allergies and lists them all i.e. gluten, dairy, peanut, soy, shellfish etc... Right away we received a call from the cafe confirming we wanted a dish made Thai style as its very spicy - we appreciated that clarification! I now notice online that they made an adjustment as to the Spicy category, it lists: super hot, hot, medium, mild, no spicy. Great idea.
The food was delivered piping hot in less time than specified. Another good thing as we were hungry.
Here's what we ordered: steamed pork dumplings were very flavorful, shrimp tempura had a light crispy batter, chicken noodle soup had a flavorful broth and we had ordered vegetables and the noodles which came separate and was a generous amount, the chicken pad Thai was also very good.
Good job to this new Cafe! We will be eating their food again and this time we will visit the space.
