I had egg drop soup that in my opinion was too small for the amount they charged. The combination Lo Mein in my opinion had a strange taste and the sauce was very thick.
Although I didn't call this out to management, the suggested tip schedule on the bill suggests the tip including tax. Tips only should be calculated on the pre tax charges.

Worst fried rice I've ever had! I walked in and ordered the seafood fried rice, which was a mistake. The seafood, vegetables and egg were completely flavorless. The seafood was rubbery, dry and tasted like it had just been defrosted and thrown into the rice. The rice itself was undercooked, mushy, and watery. While the customer service was great, the food was absolutely disgusting. I won't be returning.

My second time at this restaurant and I am again trying the Seafood Mei Fun. The first time I thought the scallops were a little cold but tiday I am certain that the scallops in the dish came straight from the freezer. They did not bother to thaw it out. Perhaps the the plan was for the hot noodles to cook the scallops but the culinary shut cut failed woefully. It made the noodles soggy and salty. However, I may want to try something else someday, but the nonchalant attitude of the waitress when I complained guaranteed that I am not coming back. I have had better Mei Fun in Silver Spring but this one was awful.

Excellent space for a healthy meal in a sea of fast-food. Busy yet quiet enough to work. I will definitely go again.

Incredible food paired with incredible service! They were so patient with us when it came to my dietary restrictions and so kind to my kid during the lunch hour rush. Everything tasted delicious and we’ll definitely be back. So happy to have found this great spot!

The sushi(cucumber, avocado) and (sweet potatoe) had potential, but it was dry and I couldn't get into it, because they don't have yum yum sauce....I asked them if they had it prior to ordering and was told "yes" but the waiter brought over what she called "spicy mayo". I didn't like it and it tasted tart and foul. I won't be back.

I ordered take out of Beef and Broccoli and Miso soup. The Miso soup was fine but the beef and broccoli contained a very bland sauce, the broccoli was very over-cooked. I can't vouch on the beef because I didn't eat any of it. We have ordered from here before so perhaps it was an off night but I ended up just eating my rice. I really don't like giving bad reviews but the beef and broccoli was exceptionally bad.

Undoubtedly the best Chinese spot in the area, I have nothing but the utmost respect for these individuals. Always glad to support a small business as well!

DO NOT CONSUME ! Unsafe food ! I was food poisoned twice . Orginally first time i though it may just be me being sick. But I recently bought sushi again here . The fish was not fresh ! Had a high fish scent . I bought 6 rolls in total and didn’t want to waste money. I regret it 12 hours later I am stuck on the toilet puking my intestines out (so it feels) PLEASE DO NOT CONSUME ! I've been doing work in Silver Spring for years and today was my first time getting lunch at Siu's.
This is a case of "never judge a book by its cover" The food is delicious, the service is fast and friendly. It's not the fanciest place on the block, but it makes up for it in every other area. I am a new fan!

I have ordered take out from Sui's a couple times and have been very satisfied. I regularly eat sushi/sashimi and the quality of the fish at this restaurant is great. The flavors of their soup, sauces, and sides have kept me happy and I'll definitely be ordering again.

I should have read the negative reviews before ordering from this place because another customer had the same experience. Just disgusting!

Highway robbery! We ordered Mongolian beef which on the website is $10.95 and got charged $18.95! Apparently “beef is expensive this days.” Beef prices have actually dropped back to close to normal pricing compared to pricing last year around this time. While we care about promoting our neighborhood business people… this is the last time I’m ordering food here. Please note the food had more large onions than beef! This was very Insultung!

Small intimate restaurant- Good for a one on one meeting or quiet date .

Since I ate there almost 24 hours ago, I’m still finding myself spending time in the bathroom. The pan-fried dumplings weren’t, the orange chicken had an odd taste to it as did the rice. Now I know why. Will not be going there again.

I was outside of my regular neighborhood running errands when I came upon this nice little restaurant. I ordered the General Tso's lunch special and it did not disappoint. The food was reasonably priced with excellent quality and presentation. The broccoli side was steamed to perfection. If I lived in the area, this would be a regular addition to my restaurant list. Wish I had taken a picture to share...

NEVER AGAIN!

I ordered the combination drunken noodles, as the menu pic looked delicious. When I received my food via home delivery, the noodles were extremely soggy, tasteless even though I asked for spicy and, there was a thick clear slime that covered the food as if the food had been improperly reheated.

Even though I spent nearly $20 for my meal, I felt compelled to immediately trash the food. .Unfortunately for Siu's Asian Bistro, I won't be a returning customer. The only reason they get 1 star is so that I can post my negative comments.

The Roll had NO Crab Meat on it!

When I called, two representatives were both adversarial and lacked any semblance of customer service!

I ordered via Uber eats . Food was delicious , especially the fresh tasting sushi . They had the perfect sticky rice that one hopes for. On the other hand , food is incredibly expensive thus you expect sauces ( spicy Mayo and eel sauce ) to be complementary. Instead , they charged $1.50 per sauce . Aside from the price point , the restaurant is certainly worth a try!

Really interesting sushi creations - very tasty. Didn't try any of the Chinese dishes but what I did see and smell has me wanting to come back for more. Good lunch special prices too.

Great local spot to enjoy sushi, they have raised their prices by a lot. (About 3-5$) I don’t know if it’s worth the price increase while providing the Same rolls. I could at least understand if they had specials or if they created a new roll.

Friendly service that is willing to make changes or adjustments to an order! The serving sizes (especially the noodle dishes) are very large and I feel like I'm getting a great amount of food for the price. They have many gluten free options, and can make certain dishes gluten free as well (my favorite is the pad thai). I ordered pad thai and asked for tofu instead of meat, and although it wasn't on the menu they were very happy to make that change for me. Great service and my favorite place for Asian food!

Today I decided to order food through DoorDash and decided to try the foods at this restaurant. I’ve waited for like 30 minutes then my orders finally here but it was wrong and I’m upset cuz I was so excited to try the foods and it was wrong. I got a Burger and fries from five guys! Lol how did I end up with fast food when I ordered foods from a Chinese restaurant! I mean definitely that the DoorDash driver Took the foods for himself. Anyways I called the restaurant and they were nice about it and helped me and resend my order. Thank you for all the help. The foods are great 👍 definitely recommend.

I have been ordering from this restaurant for about 6 months the food was ok. I ordered Chicken Lo Mein, Combination Lo Mein, and Shrimp Friend Rice. The Chicken Lo Mein was for my daughter. She didn’t really eat it. I went to warm it up today and as I was eating a portion I noticed a dead ROACH in the food. I took a picture and threw away the food. I called the restaurant and spoke to a manger who offered to make me another portion which of course I refused. Please be careful of your orders here. Had I not dumped it on a plate I could have ended up eating something unpleasant.

Did a pick-up order....sushi rolls were half the orginal size...Very disappointed.

I always order from this place and I really like the food, but the customer service is the worst ever. Even to dine in, they do know how to treat a customer. If you do not care to be miss treated the food is good. Last time I tried to place a order the lady refuse to deliver to my address and hang up the phone on my face. She basically said I was lying, even knowing they had made a delivery to my home address previously.

The most insane thing was I ordered the "Japanese Garden Salad" for $6.50. What I got was a small plastic container of lettuce. When I called to complain the person on the phone said this is what the salad is. Literally a handful of lettuce for $6.50. Just absolutely pathetic.

I have been frequenting Siu’s for carry out and delivery Chinese and Japanese food since it opened. The food is always good and deliveries on time. We still get an occasional delivery from the old man too!

The sushi here was great. I ordered the tuna roll and the octopus roll. I also got the moo shu chicken. Everything I ordered came out quickly and was delicious. So delicious that I forgot to take a pic to post here. The portions are pretty big. I was full before I knew it.

I got the Teriayki Chicken Lunch special. Had Teriayki Chicken, rice, 3 piece of Cal Roll and I added two Shrimp Rolls. Total was about $14 plus tip. The chicken was dry and had a ton of onions on the bottom. The Sauce on the chicken was very gooey. To much for me. The Shrimp Egg rolls were big and very good though and the Cal Roll was okay. Nothing great or bad about it. Service was great though, very fast and very nice. Pleasant little spot. The menu though other then the specials seems to be a bit high compared to other local spots.

Chinese American cuisine served quickly. The best feature is jasmine loose tea served in a teapot. The general Ts'o tofu is good and served with rice and broccoli.

This restaurant was horrible the sushi was flavorless, and we found a hair in our food. The tea was not good at all. The customer service was very rude. Our watier gave us attitude for asking for sugar, and she asked for more money from the tip. So I would not recommend this restaurant if you like being treated with respect.

Ordered General Tso's chicken for delivery on a Friday night. First thing I was very pleased with-- when I called to place my order, they told me to expect them around 6:45. And guess what time my doorbell rang? 6:45 ON THE DOT! Could've just been a coincidence, but I appreciated their punctuality and reliability. Chicken was delicious and definitely fresh. Sometimes you get *suspicious* bits of chicken when eating Chinese food, but all of mine was very clearly real chicken. Well-cooked, not covered in an inch of fried batter or overdone. Sauce was tangy, a hint of sweetness and not too spicy, rice was the perfect consistency.

My only complaint is that I didn't get a fortune cookie, however, that's not a really big deal. Has definitely become my go-to Chinese delivery in the area!

Sushi, gyoza, and even the wine selection were all up to par. Ordered shrimp fried rice and was presented with a dish with over half the shrimp uncleaned. Would steer clear of this aspect, but the rest may well be worth it.

Very Bland and Tasteless. This was my first time ordering from here. I ordered the lunch Kung Pao Chicken and was not impressed at all. I mean Kung Pao Chicken is supposed to be spicy and this wasn't even close. The sauce in the Kung Pao was bland and so was the fried rice.

I decided to give this place a try and I am glad I did. I really wanted some Salmon (Sake) Sashimi and was hoping it was on the menu. It had no bones, large portions, and plenty of ginger. Not sure what type of Salmon another customer had ordered that had bones, but mine did NOT. I eill have to go back and see if Tempira and Yaki are on the menu.

For the most part, out of all the reviews I have read on this restaurant have truth to them. The salmon had some bone in it, but that applies to salmon anywhere and everywhere in the world. The waitress did take my soy sauce from the table more than once and I found it funny so I looked around the restaurant to see if there was a shortage on soy sauce bottles. The up side is, the food is great. It look just like the pictures and the service is good and fast. The prices are reasonable and this is at the top of my list for lunch or dinner when I'm in the Silver Spring, MD. area.
