I’m a big lover of Thai food, and always find option to eat in a Thai place. This place has a very high rating and so we decided to check out. The place was packed during lunch hours however, no body rushed and the ambiance was laid back. We started with a coconut drink, which was pretty decent. I got a basic chicken stir fry with basil. My friend ordered a salad with crispy rice, protein, peanut, ginger and some other stuff. The salad was refreshing. The chicken stir fry was fresh, hot, flavourful however basic. It came with rice. Overall a comfort meal. I got a cup of Tom kha soup with it. The soup was wholesome and refreshing , with fresh mushroom, chicken and coconut milk. However, I have had much better Tom kha earlier in other place. Overall, the food was good.

We wanted to try something new and not part of a chain restaurant that was Thai food. So we landed here and were not disappointed. The place can probably sit about 40 people but has a lot of carry out/delivery business while we ate there. We ordered the fish balls, fried tofu, scallion dumplings and Tom yum soup to share as a family. Everything was very good and came out quickly. My favorite were the fish balls, you get 9 total, 3 per skewer. I ordered the spicy catfish which was very good and not too spicy. My wife got the crispy rice salad which was good but tough to chew after awhile. My son got the pork skewers which he said was very good but a little tough to get off the skewer. We shared a mango sticky rice for dessert. The staff is very good and efficient, overall a great place to visit and will come back again.

Saw the great reviews and decided to try it out for lunch with a friend. We got lunch specials which were decently priced in today's world and filling!
I had the Pad Pik Khing (pork) with the Crispy Gyoza - gyoza were freshly fried and delicious (though bite sized compared to the average Japanese sized ones) and the pad pik khing was nicely flavorful (though not actually spicy - maybe they defaulted to mild white girl levels?). My friend enjoyed her soup and green curry (though she also was surprised by the mildness of the curry). Their Thai iced tea is definitely legit. Overall really happy with the food and looking forward to trying more dishes.
Service was extremely fast and attentive, but not pushy at all.
Atmosphere was comfortable, clean, and well ventilated (i.e. no strong food smell on your clothes after): it's not meant to be "esthetic" so come for the food and service and leave the 'gram for elsewhere!

One of the best thai place in the area! The boat noodle was rich and flavorful and the portion of meat and noodle was generous! The papaya salad was a perfect balance of salty sweet sour! Pad kee mao was perfectly seasoned! Love the thai ice tea!

We came to eat dinner here for the first time and what a great experience. Our server was super attentive, mindful, and accommodating. In addition, the food was amazing. It tasted fresh and was very flavorful. Overall I would recommend this place. It’s a cute little whole in the wall.

Authentic Thai cuisine, albeit limited menu offerings. Service is fast. Portions are decently sized. Chicken satay, Pad Thai, Crying Tiger, Penang Curry, Pad ma keau (egg plant) were all pretty good. Chicken satay could have been better. But Pad Ma Keau was excellent.

I craved for Pad See Ew so I checked the Internet to see the reviews, price and locations etc.I found this Thai restaurant has a very good price, amazing menu and convenient location so I ordered Pad See Ew online. It comes with a few pieces of very cute deep fried dumplings. I am impressed with the prices.. This restaurant offers this dish plus appertizer or soup with $4-6 cheaper than Chinese or other Thai restaurants in the same area or everywhere else. The only problem I have is the parking space. It's jammed packed..and the restaurant was very crowded during the lunch time.

Got the fried chicken and the moo krob, definitely freshly made and amazingly crispy without the heaviness! Definitely applaud the moo krob, I Loved the crispy skin they left on the pork but also quite surprised with the fried chicken. Homely cozy ambience without the strip mall aesthetic 😃.

My wife and I had the lunch specials. We did not enjoy the soup. I apologize for my ignorance, but the red sauce that is added to the chicken coconut soup was overwhelming. That said, with of our main courses were absolutely delicious. So 4.5 stars if I could, maybe 4.8?

Food: The food here is pretty good as far as Thai cuisine goes in this area (depending on what you order). Don't order the beef because they use very cheap tough meat. Their crab fried rice is just crab flavored, you won't find any crab meats. Their pork skewers (moo ping) have good flavor but have too much fat. Their Tom Kha is alright, they put put too much coconut milk.

Service: The service here is quite terrible. The servers can have an attitude and are not very attentive. The two owners handle everything, like take-out orders, seating customers, and serving food.

Bottom line: The quality of food could be better. I feel that they shouldn't be so cheap and should just hire additional help to provide better service.

Only very good things to say. First, the taste and quality of the food was excellent. The Pad Thai, Moo Zabb Rice Bowl and Green Curry, were everything you could want. Second, the price was normal and so too was the portion size. Last, the service was perfectly timed throughout with a very positive approach from our waitress.

I'm a big fan of this restaurant. My go-to is green curry with chicken, very spicy. It is full of flavor and filling. The servers are generous enough to give you extra chili flakes so you can add even more spice to your heart's content.

My only complaint is the rice portion could be a bit larger.

I order crab fried rice and got it spicy. Normally, when I order spicy food. It is tolerable and a good tasty spice.

But, that crab fried rice was horrible!!! Hardly any crab, it was fire spicy to the point I could not eat it! It tasted like they just dumped hot spicy pepper in the rice and mixed it up. I was not good at all!
I wanted to return the food, but they closed at 3:00 today!

I believe there's a different chef during lunch time. You can tell a difference in the food! My first order was during dinner time and that food was good!

We ordered drunken noodles (very thai basil flavor), a pork shoulder dish (meat was excellent. Very flavorful & tender), and I ordered a chicken dish. It had a wide variety of vegetables that were cooked perfectly. My daughter kept trying to eat my chicken it was so good!

The restaurant surprise us in many ways. Came in on a last min dinner search and found this gem. We were in town for work and want some Thai food. Found this place online. We ordered the chicken satay and beef salad. Both were excellent. The chicken was grilled right and the peanut sauce was made with right amount of spice. The beef salad had a right amount of spices and fresh veg to complement the beef. We ordered the drunken noodle, pad see EW, and the Chinese broccoli with crispy pork. Drunken noodle was spicy with excellent flavor. Pad See EW had a generous amount of veg, meat and noodles. The Chinese broccoli with crispy pork was the surprise. The broccoli was cooked to perfection. It’s was crispy and fresh. All the dish’s had a really nice wok flavor to it. We were from NYC so we know a good Thai place. This place is legit. We all realize that we didn’t take pic after we finish everything. We will be coming back soon.

Delicious tom yum noodle soup!

The most racist experience I have ever had. I have come here since 2016 no issues but the two times I have come here recently, I was treated with much disrespect. I ordered a vegetarian fried rice, and they gave it to me with shrimp, I said, I ordered the vegetarian, and they said they would fix my order when all they did was take the shrimp out of my fried rice. Luckily, one of my coworkers noticed that they just took the shrimp out of the fried rice still exposing me to shrimp, I could’ve had an allergy attack and this could’ve been more serious. They gave me new fried rice but with an attitude. Ok, whatever. It’s fine. The following week I decided to go back because it was just an accident, so I ordered my food thai spicy. For context, I am Indian, so I can handle my spice and I order thai spicy regularity, but the dish they gave me was honestly too spicy to eat. So I said to the server this is too spicy can you please remake it, he in a mocking tone said “oh, you can’t handle your spice?” I explained to him that I am Indian, and I eat spicy food very regularly. Then another worker from the restaurant started yelling at me, and they both started ganging up on me. I paid for my food and I left. They will never see me again. All I’m saying is if this was a white customer, they would’ve handled it and that customer would’ve gotten new food and an apology. What I got was a fraction of that.

Where should I start..? This place actually blew my expectations AWAY! Most Thai food restaurants I have visited often make Thai food a little sugary in my opinion. But the Thai food here is pretty balanced and light which leaves a pleasant aftertaste in after eating. I would also recommend the Green Curry it’s super creamy and just has no words to describe how amazing it tastes! Definitely a spot I will start to come regularly!!!

As soon as we entered the waiter was very rude. When I asked the waiter about the spring rolls they said because it’s crispy spring rolls that it’s not the fresh ones…but I didn’t know since it had a certain ingredient which threw me off so I thought it was the fresh one he didn’t need to be rude about it. Then I noticed my silverware was pretty dirty so I asked for plastic silverware…I’m in general more comfortable with plastic silverware ever since Covid started…the rude waiter named Paul grabbed my silverware in front of my face from my plate…which was pretty unprofessional…then when I wanted more napkins the waiter Paul said that I had one already and do not need one…the other waiter named Nate gave me 1 napkin then when I asked for more napkins he simply said he wouldn’t give me any more napkins until I used the 2 napkins that I have already…but in general I know myself I need a lot of napkins since Thai food is messy or I typically spill stuff on myself…so I thought it was pretty unprofessional of both waiters to refuse to give me more napkins when I needed them. After receiving our appetizers we simply left because of their terrible customer service. Upon requesting the name of the waiter Nate was ignoring the request but finally answered in the end if that is even his correct name.

Really terrible customer service. The waiter did not want to answer the questions about menu and just said they will come back when we had decided. When we asked if the spring rolls were freshly made there then they rudely replied it says in the menu that it is crispy so it would not be fresh. They gave one napkins each and when asked for more napkins they responded that first use one that napkin. They also said they allocate napkins so it does not go to waste. Then they brought one more napkin when insisted. We just had appetizers and left because of bad customer service and did not even eat the main food. The two waiters did not even care much and they did not want to give their names. Then they mentioned their name as Paul and Nate.
The restaurant owner should really work on training on hospitality and professionalism for their staff. Such bad employees can bring down the business.

Stopped there after we were very rudely told there was no dining at the Asian Bakery two doors down. What a great Thai jewel. Had delicious Thai iced tea. For lunch, we had the curry pasty puff- scrumptious! My husband had the shrimp Pad Thai and I had the Chicken curry— both were outstanding. We also had the Tom Yum soup with shrimp which we very much enjoyed. Jewel of a place. You won’t be disappointed. Oh, portions are very hearty— finished it for dinner.

The reviews are true. This place has absolutely fabulous Thai food! We had fish cake, Panang curry and Pad See Ew. I would highly recommend all 3 dishes. The Panang was absolutely perfect and I agree with other reviewers that is easily the best I have ever had. I asked for very hot but not Thai hot and it was the perfect amount of heat (head sweats). If you love Thai food or you have been to Thailand you have to visit this gem. Don’t hesitate!

Stopped at this place to try it out and all I have to say is WOW. Amazing food. I had the soup for lunch and my buddy had the braised pork with rice. So tender for his he said. My soup was unbelievable. I've been to Thailand and this is right up there.

This place is a great place to stop by and get food! The service was very kind and quick! I got the boat noodle soup and it was so delicious! My partner got the moo zapp rice bowl which was also a great choice! Can’t wait to try more dishes next time!

This is my go to for Thai restaurant. I heard about this restaurant from my mom, she says the papaya salad is the best from here and this is coming from a picky person. I very much agree along with rest of the delicious food here. I moved to Frederick and still come here when I’m craving Thai food. Everything is perfect from the moment stepping into the restaurant to leaving and the friendly staff and amazing food. I ordered Papaya salad, Fried tofu, Shrimp drunken noodles and Thai iced tea. Highly recommend.

We got into the restaurant while traveling in Rockville MD. We had beef salad, soup, pork belly with rice and the Mongo rice cake. Everything is good. I mean EVERYTHING. We ate it all. Empty plates for them in return to show our appreciation of their food. MUST GO RESTAURANT.

After 15+ years they are still my favorite Thai restaurant in the States. Try the beef num tok, dusty pork, or kai nom jeeb (sp?) appetizer. So good!

A step up from your usual Thai restaurants. The flavors are delicate, ingredients fresh and service excelllent! I love them and use them very often for our work lunches!

This place has the best boat noodle soup in Moco. The flavor is well balanced, the portion is big enough to fill you up and I also like the vegetables in the soup. Get the soup in no spicy then ask the server for spices tray or basket that way you can add the spicy chilly powder to your liking.
My other favorite dishes from here is the Pad See Ew. Most of the Pad see ew in this area are too sweet, this is well balanced.
Service is great, they are very attentive. Price is fair and definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. This restaurant is authentic, you can tell by the other diners, I have been here many times and there’s always Thai folks dining with us.
