Most importantly, the services are real impressive as I think I forgot my earphone at the table so I called to ask them and The response was very helpful and generous.

My friend and I went out for a Galentine's dinner. I didn’t expect great service since it was Valentine’s Day and bound to be busy. The food was good, and the drinks were too. But as we sat chatting, a roach crawled out at the bar. That ruined the experience for me, so they got 3 stars instead of 5.

My absolute favorite restaurant! Me and my family always get the same thing lol the crispy basil chicken and the asia nine lomein, definitely worth trying! Me and my friends love this place also. The best and most friendly staff :)

I got the orange chicken and it was really good! Crispy coating, the sauce had a nice flavor and the meat was really good quality. The restaurant has great decor and a very friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

I visited this place about a year ago and enjoyed it. I went 3 weeks ago and had a horrible experience. Our food was cold when it came out, and the waitress was rude and not accommodating to me. She refilled my boyfriends water and not mine and basically threw the check at me at the end.

I live in Crown, this place never lets me down. The recent renovation to the outdoor grass area will only make outdoor meals here incredible. I get the Mexico roll and Chicken Lo Mein. Crispy pork belly is phenomenal as well. The prices are fair and the food is outstanding. The service and ownership are friendly and will always make sure you leave happy.

A bug was in my food told the waitress and she brought back a plate with half the food gone. I’m sure they didn’t make a new dish but rather just took off the part where the bug was which is UNACCEPTABLE!!!! Will not be returning shame on them!

The food is great, spice level is perfect and you can get your food really spicy. The service is excellent. I have been there three times now and I believe her name is PA, she's extraordinary. Everyone is so nice. On this trip we brought our kids and they really liked the food.

Today , we visited this restaurant for what was probably our fourth or fifth time. Our previous experience had been good enough that we chose to dine there again and again. Unfortunately, today’s experience was disappointing. The waitress became rude from the moment my wife asked to have her drink without ice. First she said that was not possible but, after we questioned that stance, agreed to do it. From then on, she became rude with one word answers. At the end of the meal, she automatically tacked on a 20% gratuity ($30+) for our party of four. We paid without questioning it. In the way out, I took the liberty to ask another waitress about their policy and she said the automatic 20% was for parties of 6 or more. I requested the manager and asked her the same. She was quite ambiguous while saying it was possible during peak hours. I pointed out the discrepancy with the previous server and she offered to remove the automatic tip. I declined, thanked her and left. Don’t think we will go back.

Always a go to place for drunken noodles

Ordered beef noodles soup (pho). No Lime, peppers, hoisin, bean sprouts or anything that normally accompanies. Basically threw our food on the table. So. So. Rude. Waitress “Eiun" smirked as she dropped off a packet of hot sauce telling me it was siracha - it was not . Orange chicken was good and so was Korean beef but the waitress was so rude it ruined the experience.

Our goto place in Gaithersburg. Very neat and clean. Love their drunken noodles, lomein. Thai dumplings were ok. The ambience is pretty. They do have alcohol. We tried aladdin sake & house sake which was hot. There is plenty of garage parking right behind the restaurant.

To preface this review, I am leaving a 1 star due to the fact that a gratuity charge was added for a party of 3 adults + 1 kid, during non-peak hours or even a large group. They are not notifying customers before hand and it looks like they charge gratuity to any party size.

The food was okay, we visited August 20th and ordered several dishes, 4 drinks and a side of udon noodles. The staff was friendly and attentive, considering we were the only patrons at the time, it makes sense.

The orange chicken was sliced very thin, almost like jerky once fried. I ordered a barbeque type chicken. Apart from the flavor of the spicy sauce to dump over the chicken, the chicken charred flavor was heavily prevalent. I didn't try the chicken green curry, but was told it was great.

When we got the bill, I paid like normal, not really looking it over assuming the server got it all on there. When I got it back, we were discussing a cash tip amount, when I saw Gratuity charge. I waited for the server and asked if this gratuity charge is normal and they said yes. While I prefer to leave a tip on my own accord, it was decided for me, without notifying me.

I acknowledged this and did not leave a tip, as they tipped themselves on a party of 4. My mom and sister regularly eats here and it was my first time. After I realized that, I asked them and they were also upset because they paid AND tipped, not realizing this restaurant charges gratuity on all orders. Several other posts are indicating this, but not nearly as many as you would expect.

The place nice, presentation of the food amazing but the taste of the food not like I thought. I ordered seafood dranken noodles, the seafood taste good but the noodles greasy and not really can taste the Thai seasonings. Service was fine.

The service fee was not mentioned before ordering the food and not included with the tip. This is outrageous!

Food was good but they charged a service fee that they did not mention. We were only a party of 3 people. My food was 34 dollars without tax and my total ended up being 44 dollars. The service fee was 6 dollars. And then on top of that they asked for tip. I feel scammed

She was able to suggest vegetarian dishes that weren't on the menu and all the food was so tasty and different flavored! My sister ordered drunken noodles mild and they were amazing. Ordered drunken noodle to go. It was spicy as hell considering they didnt ask me the spice level when i ordered online! Usually chili oil is given on the side but this was covered in it. I couldn’t eat it without my lips and my mouth burning with spice. Probably wont order to go from here again.

I recently visited Asia Nine, a Thai restaurant located in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcomed. The decoration of the restaurant was also fantastic, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Now let's talk about the food! It looked absolutely amazing and tasted even better. I tried the sushi sashimi combo and the volcano roll, and they were both outstanding! The sushi was fresh and tasted like it was made with care. The volcano roll was perfectly balanced with a combination of spicy and savory flavors that were an absolute treat for my taste buds.

The drinks were also a highlight of the evening. I tried their house-made lemonade and lychee coconut cooler and they were both refreshing and delicious. They perfectly complemented the flavors of the food. Straw were made out of paper! So they are definitely environmentally conscious

All in all, I would highly recommend Asia Nine to anyone looking for delicious Thai cuisine with a touch of creativity. The food, drinks, and service were all top-notch, making for an unforgettable dining experience. I cannot wait to return and try more of their offerings! A five-star rating is well deserved.

Awesome restaurant, extremely underrated. I was very impressed with the selection of sushi and cocktails, all of which were very fairly priced for the high quality we received. They had a nice variety of cocktails and sake too. It is also the only sushi restaurant I've found in the area where I could order sea urchin, which was a nice surprise. The atmosphere was excellent as well, I regret not sitting up in the bar area because of how nice it looked. Came here for some sushi and really glad we did. The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous! I couldn’t help looking around and admiring the decor.
I got the chirashi bowl, it’s my go to. And it was fresh and delicious. I’ll have to come back to try some of their other cuisine besides sushi!

I ordered food here almost two years regularly. Today Pad Tai was terrible, a lot of spicy!!! A lot. It was a Pick up order . When I called and told my issue, answer was : “this is tai food, bye- bye” and hang out.

This venue is overlooked and undervalued in the Downtown Crown neighborhood. It is rarely crowded, which makes it an ideal for restaurant-goers who prefer a less boisterous ambience with their meal.

I find the staff to always be polite and accommodating. The Colors are vibrant and have a great significance here. The purple and green walls are adorned with gold/ brass plates.

Sushi rolling table is positioned dead center of the venue, so you can observe the artistry of your sushi getting rolled right in front of you!

The bright white bar area shines like a halo, boasting an eye-catching array of unique cocktail options. The Pearl of Andaman is my favorite- I order it without the Chambord.

While some scoff at the diversity of the cuisines featured on the menu, I have yet to hear anyone say the meal did not supersede those prejudices. Go see for yourself next time you’re in the neighborhood!

I get Asia Nine carryout every time I work from home. Every time I take my first bite I am astonished by the incredible flavors, perfectly cooked noodles, and amazing meat and vegetables. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Very friendly service and a nice menu selection. We ordered an array of dishes--sashimi, drunken noodles, crab fried rice, and soft shelled crab tempura. All of the dishes had good flavor and we kept going back for more. Would definitely recommend this place when you have a craving for pan Asian dishes.

Don’t understand the low reviews we had one of the best Thai-infused meals we’ve had since moving from NYC. Atmosphere was cozy, clean, and upscale. Service was amazing and they listened to our special requests to a T! If you enjoy chives (smell & taste), HIGHLY RECOMMEND the chive dumplings 🥟- absolutely DELICIOUS. Also had the best spring rolls ever! For entrees, the Panang Curry (they asked for preferred spice level; we asked for 3 out of 5) was INCREDIBLE. Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) hit the SPOT 🤤 (spice level; 4 out 5). If you’re considering, DO IT!!!! The only thing that could use work is the sushi, which was just alright.

This place was delicious! The service was lovely, the food was great, and the plating was on point too! They have a ton of plant-based options, and I went with the Garlic Lovers entree and a sweet potato roll. The sweet potato in the roll is tempura’ed and adds great texture. I asked for tofu in the garlic dish, and they were able to accommodate that and the tofu was even seasoned which was a nice surprise. This was my first time here and I’d definitely come back.

Seems like a nice place. Pretty decor, some menu items were ok. The female waitresses need a check on learning on basic service manners. I’d rather go elsewhere.

Had lunch here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Got the larb chicken and chicken satay and had taste appetizers and had tastes of some of what everyone else ordered. Everything was really yummy. The Thai iced tea was particularly good. We went on a Saturday between lunch and dinner and it wasn't particularly busy. We had great service. Definitely worth trying out.

Terrible experience where they put service charge of 20 percent for dine in guests of more than 4 parties. We a family of 5 with small kids and a baby were levied a 20 percent surcharge. Waitress was adamant that it was the system and couldn't do anything. A 3 month old baby can't eat anything but we had to pay a surcharge of 20 percent service fee for that. Ridiculous and avoid this place. There are far better thai and Chinese places around. Rude waitress and bad customer service.

Poor customer service. We dined in on a Saturday afternoon and were the only customers there . Even still, it took a very long time to get served. The sushi was okay, but the teriyaki chicken was cold . It took us a while to flag someone down so that we could ask to send it back and warmed up. It was never really clear to us who our server was and felt very unorganized despite it not being too busy. It felt as if the staff has very little interest in their customers. The minimal interaction that we did have, did not seem very personable. Unfortunately, I will not be going back for mediocre sushi and bad service.

I went back in November for my birthday. The service, drinks, location and decor was great but the food was definitely overpriced for the small portion given and the menu choices were pretty basic. I’ve been to many Thai places but this one was more on aesthetics than quality of food in my opinion.

My wife and I have ordered food from Asia Nine many times since it opened in Downtown Crown. Tonight, our food lacked flavor and did not taste fresh. Bronzino was dry, Lo Mein tasted like plastic and the Crab Fried Rice smelled ‘old.’
