Overall this place was enjoyable. We ordered a couple of their specialty cocktails that were tasty and poured fairly strong. The sushi was fresh tasting and had a decent selection of rolls to choose from. The service was very good as the staff was very friendly and offered many suggestions. The main negative is that the ambiance of the place is a bit odd. It's dated and not the nicest inside the restaurant. The music selection did not match and the place was littered with knick knacks that made the walls feel cluttered. That is a minor negative as the food was good and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely return

Hard to believe you would find an excellent Thai restaurant in the middle of New England Seafood heaven. But, we have returned to this restaurant on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. The duck is outstanding and so are the curries. We live in Thailand and know the difference between average Thai food and outstanding Thai food and the folks here are lucky to have such an authentic restaurant to patronize.

This has become our staple go to Thai restaurant in the last year. Their take out and dine in are both equally convenient. We've gotten sushi here- which was really good. Their duck fried rice is an absolute favorite. This time we tried their daily special Volcano Roll which was also very good! Their thai iced tea is always very refreshing and delicious. We'll keep coming back for more!

Words cannot describe this food! The green , red and mango curries are addictive with so much flavor and just enough spice. The duck dishes are tender and so delicious. Love it.

The place could be fixed up some, but I find it to be common with Thai restaurants. The food is always amazing, within a good time period and the staff is always so sweet. A bonus, my drink was always being filled. Not once did I need to ask for more water.

If I could give a 0 I would, very bad service, I ordered food, after 1 hour and half I called the place to see what’s going on, the owner of the place answered the phone and said it’s not he’s problem and I should call Uber eats. I received the food 2 hours later cold. I asked the owner to call Uber eats and he said it’s not he’s problem. Very rude and unprofessional.

Went here on a whim, as I was looking for a different Thai place. Don't let the location on Route 1 discourage you, this place is a gem! All the food was amazingly delicious, and they had the bonus of bubble tea. The service was very polite and fast, but we felt rushed in no way. The staff was helpful at offering suggestions when asking questions about food items. Definitely will be returning!

This is THE BEST Thai food I have ever had in my life. Fast and friendly service. Kid friendly. Very reasonable prices. Completely DELISH! I can not recommend this place enough! I especially recommend the Pad See Ew, Indonesian Crispy Chicken Fried Rice, and Lomein Pad Thai.

Great cozy little Thai place that seems run by a great family. The staff work really hard and provide excellent service. Food was delicious. Most Thai restaurants tend to blend together and are all usually decent. This place stood out to me because of the excellent taste and great options. We had the crab Rangoon, vegetable dumplings, pineapple fried rice, and crispy pad Thai which were all fantastic. The ambience is very cozy and I definitely plan to continue going here in-person and for takeout. Oh and the ginger hot tea was perfect for a cool night. Next time we plan on getting the coconut ice cream which we heard is made in-house.

Walking into the restaurant was actually amazing. Not only is it cute inside, but it smells delicious! We ordered drunken noodles with chicken and asked for spicy level 4 (oh my god, it was actually spicy!) It was such a great meal and everything was cooked perfectly. 5/5 stars, please try this place! I haven't been disappointed at all. I will definitely be returning, especially since it's literally a 5 min drive from me, and the prices are completely reasonable and justifiable! No photos because we devoured it all in one go 😅😂

Don’t often leave reviews but LET ME TELL YOU how much I appreciate and love this place! Firstly, it’s some of the greatest thai food I’ve ever had, every dish is fresh and delicious - mild or spicy as you like it. Have ordered countless times with various people and everyone agrees it exceeds satisfactory into heavenly. Take-out is always ready fast and portions are generous in relation to price! Also, the late weeknight hours make it a healthy option after a long work day if you’re feeling too lazy to cook. Secondly but significantly, the staff is absolutely wonderful whether picking up or dining in. So, if you live in Scarborough or are just passing through on Route 1 you’ve got to try Chaba Thai!

One of the best tasting spicy crunchy salmons I’ve had. I feel sushi quality is always declining so it was so nice to taste sushi I wasn’t scared to bite into. Also they have some of my favorite pad Thai, and their drinks are amazing!

We came here looking to try a new Thai restaurant in our area. We picked the right place!! Started off with veggie spring rolls are they were a perfect appetizer. For dinner I had the beef noodle soup bowl and she had the chicken noodle. They were savory and delicious. Our server, checked on us often and we cannot wait to go back!!

Masaman Curry made with red and green bell peppers ... well... ok then - not what I'm used to, but I'm easy (and I like peppers, so). The curry was a bit light and peanuts/sauce was used sparingly. 3* spicy... idk ... it just wasn't spicy, but it wasn't red curry so, ok. I probably will stick to Lobster and such ... I mean it IS Maine, not Bankok.

We got the vegetable dumplings, Thai orange chicken and the drunken noodles. The waitress was so nice and the food came out fast and was delicious!! Definitely a new favorite to go eat at 😊

We went here for lunch prior to an Imax movie. They served the food quickly, and the food was excellent. There wad a nice sized speciality drink menu, too. The waitress was polite and kind.

Went with one of my sons. Worked in the food industry for 45 years so i do have a little knowledge of the biz. I will start by says the server and host were very friendly and accommodating, the food was hot and fresh. I love oriental food and Thai is one of my favorite and I will say that the food was some of the best Thai food I've had but next time I would order out instead of eating in the dining room. It's not the nicest place to have meal and if they want to have a killer place they should clean up the floors and redo the interior it just looks rundown and dirty. The crab Rangoon's are the best I've ever had nice and crunchy hot and beautifully designed the filling was was far superior than the normal cream cheese and fake crab that most places give you. and not just slapped together like most restaurants. The shrimp in a blanket were delicious the only problem I had was that the dipping sauces were the same for all of the appetizers we had so it got a little boring but the killer meal was the spicy fried rice, I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy and this had just the perfect space where you could taste the food and had a little bit of heat my son said it could have been spicier for him, that was the best dish that we had. the Lo MeIn pad Thai was also very good. Would I go back? yes for takeout. would I recommend it? yes for takeout.

Ok..the Phad Thai is some of the best I've tasted. I try this dish in just about every state I travel to. The other dishes are excellent too.

Happened upon this little gem by accident. Figured we would give it a try. We got Pad Thai, the pork sausage fried rice and an order of basil fried rice as well as an order of the chicken noodle soup with rice noodles.
Everything was fantastic! So much so that we got it again the next night!! A must stop if you live Thai food!!!

Great food, decent price. Nice atmosphere. If you are looking for some delicious meal without trying to be upscale head to chaba. As you walk in you see a chalkboard of the specials and to your left a small bar. You can tell this was a house converted restaraunt but its just as cute as you would expect getting a great meal at your grandma's.

Ordered two orders of chicken pad Thai with vegetables got home and neither meal had chicken and one meal had hardly any food. Called and spoke to whoever was in charge and said chicken cost more and refused to refund me and then hung up on me when I said I wasn’t satisfied. Not going back very rude on phone and this isn’t the first time I’ve ha issues there

Really delicious Tofu Pad Thai & Thai tea!! I got three star because this was the first time I’ve ever been to Chaba and didn’t want anything too spicy, this was perfect. The noodles are on the thinner side, but thick enough so it doesn’t taste like spaghetti noodles. Overall, definite win, can’t wait to go back!!
