I’ve ordered the chicken pad that now twice this week. It’s phenomenal, usually I’ll go to other Thai restaurants but after having Tina’s Thai definitely a whole in the wall. Loved it! Not the best location for food in town but they make it work over there with the highest of quality. Definitely my new favorite place to eat.

I have always been the recipient of good food from this establishment. The Garlic Pork is amazing. The man and woman who are always there when I come to get my order are pleasant and sociable. The prices are good. ($14. and I'm full) If you decide to eat-in it's a little small but doable if it's just yourself or you plus one. No bathroom unfortunately. Parking leaves something to be desired. Although I'm not disabled, handicap access is a little rough for those who are.

Don’t let the gas station exterior scare you off. This was some of the best Thai food we’ve ever had. I ordered yellow curry and it was very good - I asked for spicy level medium and it was definitely spicy!

My husband had the Kao Man Gai and said it was the best thing he’d ever tasted. I agree it was absolutely delicious.

We shared the Crab Rangoons which were incredible, so delicate yet hearty. I won’t be able to enjoy the ones back home in Texas nearly as much now knowing how fresh they can be!

Highly recommend this little place. Great service and all around great spot.

Edit: I had to come back to add to my review. Since my initial review I’ve eaten most of the menu. I can’t find anything I don’t enjoy thoroughly. One of my favorite things about getting food from Tina is that the food is truly a home-cooked style of Thai food. It can be a little different every time, but it’s always amazing. I’ve eaten lots of Thai food in 3 different states but Tina’s is head and shoulders above them all. My wife and I love getting food here regularly. I’d post more pictures but the food doesn’t last long enough for a photo.

Also I’ve never had crab Rangoon as good as hers.

The flavors, the quantity and the quality is always 5 star worthy!
I have never been disappointed in coming here to eat, and i highly doubt you will either.
I highly recommend anyone and everyone to try Tina's Thai atleast once and experience the quality for a small portion of money. Definitely a bang for your buck!

very good Vegetarian food!! plenty of assortment of many kinds of veggies in the dishes (about 7 or 8 different kinds, in the Spicy Veg Tofu, not like some other places that give you only cabbage and broccoli!)

This place is another fine example of a hole in the wall with excellent food. I was not disappointed with the beef pho. Fast and friendly service. I will absolutely be a return customer.

If you want EXCELLENT thai food, you have to try Tina Thai Express. This is not a sit down restaurant, but we order take out all the time and the food is amazing.

My first order with Tina Thai resulted in some disappointment. First, my order was finished somewhat later than the expected time. Second, and more importantly, the "today's special" (yaki soba) that I ordered was not available, and I wasn't informed of this until I arrived to pick up my order. I substituted "drunken noodle" and it was only the following day that I realized I had probably paid more than I should because the substituted dish was less expensive than the original one.

It's surprisingly good from and a case of not judging the book by the cover. However, the menu descriptions could be better. You don't quite know what you're getting and they should specify which dishes contain seafood(oysters, fish sauce, shrimp, crab, etc) to be more vegetarian friendly. I ordered the fresh rolls and it came back containing shrimp which was unexpected.

I was very hungry and knew right where to go.

OMG! I have had great Thai food before, and THAT WAS NOT IT! The Pad Thai "Special" tasted like hot garbage with ZERO flavor, no spice no nothing and overcooked broccoli (ugh)... I am sooooo disappointed. The savory, sweet (tamarind) spicy (thai chli peppers), sour (lime), and salty was ALL lacking... and NO umami at all. I went home and tried to doctor it up BUT to no avail... What a waste of money in which I will get no refund, just an expensive lesson learned. Please, Tina, do better.

I would describe Tina Thai Express as a gem in a quaint little corner, Tina the owner is sweet, kind, helpful and an excellent cook.Her food is delicious!

The pad Thai here is really good. It’s even better than my favorite Thai spot in Boston!

Exceptionally fresh and delicious. Unique menu items you can’t get at many Thai restaurants!

One of my favorite spots! The duck noodle soup! And dumplings! Never had anything here that I did not love. Absolutely delicious.

Ordered thru Grub Hub so service and atmosphere are not applicable.

Pad Thai Chicken was flavorless, cold and the chicken was tough and chewy.

Pad See Ew with shrimp was delicious.
Rice and peanut sauce were fantastic.

Officially my favorite Thai place in Maine. Super sketchy area, but the food is worth it.

DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE! Yes, as you've seen it's in a gas station/store. Guess what? Some of the best Thai food ANYWHERE not just in Maine. You will not regret, and Tina is an angel. DO IT!

I love Tina's Thai! Ordering is easy, in person, on the phone, or online. The food is some of the best Thai food I have had, and the staff are amazingly friendly!

Really cute hole-in-the-wall sort of place, not letting the strange location inside a gas station affect their own pleasant atmosphere. We did a take-out, and so I don't know how the seating would have gone inside, but the food was really good, and the couple running it were friendly and easy going. Nice place, would go again!

This place is a gem! Wish I had found it sooner, everything here is delicious and fresh. The Indonesian fried rice, noodles, katsu, all of it is great. The dishes have loads of flavor and depth. You can't go wrong with anything you get here!

The lady is a fair thai cook, but the place is in a gas station convenience store, probably better for take out.

Restaurant is put together very nicely for being connected to a gas station. Both are very well kept kind friendly workers. Makes me go there every day!

I WISH I could give Zero stars! I watched the deliver driver Literally get out of his car, walk towards my WIFE'S car and start screaming at her, spitting at her and say "I'm gonna shoot you!" What?! Your employee?! The police are involved. It's all on camera. They police let us leave and said this guys Acts like this all the time, yet as of right Now, he's STILL THERE WORKING?! This is After he already tried to run her over the day before...... I'm just in shock! I have Never seen anyone act that Disgusting and wrong. Very disappointing!

Seriously this food is awesome! I overheard a couple talking and the guy was going to treat his lady to supper she said TINA THAI EXPRESS!!! He laughed and said “I KNEW” you would pick there. Then they went on to rave about how great the food was. I love Thai but have a hard time finding quality Thai locally. So of course I asked. When they told me where it was located I was shocked. They said don’t let the location fool you the food is amazing. I literally went THAT DAY! I was surprised to see the tiny cooking area with fresh fruits and veggies everywhere. About 5 meals had just been completed when I walked in and I literally wanted ALL OF THEM!! I have returned again and again never disappointed and always craving more! She is a gifted cook that makes u feel like family. She doesn’t cook like ur a stranger I’m telling u if she cooks for her family she shares the same quality with all her customers! Believe TRY IT! You won’t be disappointed no matter what meal u choose!

Tina Thai is by far the best Thai food in Lewiston/Auburn. Definitely worth going to pick up take out! Location is terrible, but if you want great food it’s worth venturing in to Dave’s place gas station. Tina is very friendly! I ordered shrimp fried rice , it was hot and flavorful, Larb chicken , absolutely delicious!! Order it spicy! Please leave Tina a tip so she can move to a better location.

Genesis by far the best Thai restaurant that we have in the area I go to her very frequently all her food is outstanding very tasteful and you get what you pay for everybody in the community should help team out so we can get it into a bigger spot so she can have sit down clientele

Best Thai food ever. Ingredients are so fresh. Each dish is made to order nothing sitting out. Food is so flavorful. True authentic Thai Ingredients. The best Bubble Tea. The absolute best place around for Thai. Nothing compares to it thus place blows all others out if the water. Highly recommend. No long wait times. Tina the owner is so friendly. At first I was a little sketchy of the location but after I tried the food the location no longer Mattered!!

Had the duck noodle soup, apple salad, kao moo dang, and pad Thai. They were all fantastic! The kao moo dang was especially good, and the pad Thai was so much better than most Thai restaurants.

Delicious, delicious, delicious! The owner, Tina, so sweet and very helpful. Loved, loved, loved.... the duck pad Thai, and everything else we ordered. ( Trust me....everything sounded amazing, it was quite difficult choosing) Wishing very much we had this "little dive" around the corner from where we live, as it would easily become a most frequent stop As others have written the restaurant (sharing a building that houses also a gas station/deli) may not look all that exciting from the outside, but once you step through the door, you know you've come to a very special place. Thank you for your wonderful cooking, gentle kindness, and generous spirit.

I was very surprised by how good this was! They gave us way more food for our money then the other places in the area. When I went in the two people working we're so sweet! I was nervous at first but after eating the food I will be going there again and spreading the word!

Food is surprisingly amazing & feels like a homecooked meal. The ladies there are sweet and adorable! Highly recommend their dumplings & shumai.

Wanted to try the food, because of the unique hole-in-the-wall experience. The food left a lot to be desired with flavor, being dry, and over cooked. I’d rather save my money for Bua Thai and Sushi down the street.

WOW I'm never eating anywhere else, Tina's is amazing!!! There are "typical" Thai dishes but also a plethora of "uncommon" dishes that I am stoked to try. Tina was lovely, the food was a massive portion and SO fresh, and the Thai iced coffee is cheap *and* delicious. I can't wait to go back!!

Tina’s is spectacular. Do not be frightened off because of the location within Dave’s place. The food is spectacular, easily better than pure thai across the street. Tina, the owner and cook delivers amazing service with even better food. Here is a photo of one of the menus

Quick, easy, very yummy! I appreciate that they stay open until 9pm. Tina was very sweet and helpful. The Panang curry had just the right amount of spice abs well devolved, complex flavors. Tried a great deal if Thai food and this one is at the top of the list, I’ll def be back!

Tina, the woman who runs the place is amazing. She is the waitress, she takes the orders, she is the chef, she answers the calls, and does so much more. She is so sweet! Her food is delicious! The kitchen is right out front so you can even watch her make it! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Thai food.
