The owners have two locations, one in Damariscotta, we ate at their Bath restaurant (started 11 years ago). It’s a small place, maybe 5 tables. Seemed like a fair amount of “carry-out” business, with 1 chef working the kitchen, and 1 person handling all the front end clients & serving tables.

Our party of four was seated at the window, which I enjoy watching people and town lights sparkle at night! Menus, drinks, and food ordering was very relaxed, no rush , gave us time to “ catch up” with our friends.
In Maine it’s best to chill . . . (sip your “drink” ) most places are under-staffed.

We ordered several appetizers, as the restaurant filled up ! I liked the shrimp yum soup, with a “ kick” of spice! Over time our entrees arrived. . . Our friends loved their Basil Chicken , and Ginger Crispy Fish! Two of us ordered Mango Crispy Chicken which was delicious! Not as spicy as as I hoped, but very good!

Over all a good meal, and would rate this a positive 4.5 experience! Thai food we tried seemed a fusion of Chinese style sauce with Thai ingredients. That’s fine!

I'm sure it's fine for veg eaters but I'm not a veg eater and I had never had Thai. Well I learned my lesson. I wish there was a low veg choice. I don't eat onions, so I was a bit left out. Seemed pricy for all those veggies, anyway.

There are many differences from the Thai food I have eaten before. My husband ordered sweet chow mein. My Noodles in soup were slighy cy, but no hlli ws added 🌶， No one ordered for us, we waited for a long time, and I won't recommend more people to come and ask

I eat here as often as I can. good prices, terrific food, polite service, which is always balanced with available and attentive without being overbearing. Never been disappointed. Takeout, dine in, always great . Evil tofu is my favorite, I have never had a better sauce, try it if you’re not scared of spicy things.

This place always provides a delicious affordable meal that can be healthy and allergy friendly! Spicy basil fried rice (spice level 3) with tofu is my go-to with fresh roll appetizers! My husband loves their veggie lo mein or drunken noodles. I am gluten sensitive and I have never been ill after eating at this wonderful eatery!

Maybe I went on an "off" night but my brussel spout appetizer was more burnt than fried. The house rice was decent but only the rice part. The veggies in it were obnoxiously under cooked and the chicken in it was mediocre. Wish I could add pictures. Paid almost 30 dollars for those 2 dishes that couldn't have cost more than 5 dollars to produce and I don't usally mind paying higher prices for decent food.

Best Thai, best overall Asian, I've had in Maine so far (almost three years, all over the state).
The pad Kee mao (drunken noodles) were extra saucy, the noodles homemade and tender, the veggies crisp and perfect. Bright, bold flavor, great spice level, good quality meat.
The prices are lower than several places in the region, but the options are small (for take out, at least). It's delicious and well worth it, though.

Chicken pad Thai is amazing

After a week long trip in Maine from NYC, I was needing a break from the typical flavor profile we had enjoyed lots of already (lobster rolls and American style seafood places). So we figured we'd try Best Thai since it had good reviews. They were about to close at 2:30 until 4pm but kindly squeezed in our order to-go. We just ordered a pad see ew and chicken satay, and they were both really yummy! The chicken was so perfectly cooked, tender and juicy and so flavorful. The pad see ew was full of pork and veggies, rather than skimping on the good stuff. It really hit the spot!

We got there at about 2pm and one of the worker tell us to order it to-go since they will be closing at 2.30pm, and we did. The food was okay and portion size was small.

I ordered for the first time from the Bath Maine location this evening and was blown away. The Paradise Pad Thai was beautiful and hands down the best pad thai I have ever had across New England. We also ordered the kids chicken satay with white rice (the kids ate in silence - testament to their approval) and drunken noodles (also amazing). Food was delivered fresh off the stove hot and 15 minutes earlier than advertised. If you are looking for Thai in the Bath Maine area, look no further!

Very very happy with our experience. Moved to Maine from Florida not too long ago, where there is plenty of everything everywhere. Up here has been a battle sometimes. Tried to get in on Monday, not open. I don't get it, so many places around here are closed on Mondays. two other people tried to get in in the short time I was there. Tuesday tried to get in, closed again, only this time they are closed for an hour, 3-4 in the middle of the day.

The place must do a big takeout service because it is all geared that way but I ate in. The crab Rangoon was fantastic. Never had some that good. When I asked for a house fried rice I was asked what I wanted in it. I didn't think I heard her right but she repeated it. I said whatever they usually put in it, everything. Apparently you have to order shrimp or pork or whatever else they offer. Never ran across this before and I order house fried rice everywhere I go and it has just about everything in the HOUSE in it.

The food is really good just too complicated to get in and order stuff.

The drunken noodle was great but not very spicy (I ordered it regular). The mango seafood delight was delicious; a little spicy, a little sweet, with a delicate seafood medley. Their hot Thai tea is very good and the service was friendly, very fast, and they didn't rush us.

I would have given two, however, getting Thai food at all is a bonus around here and it stacks up OK against some other places. No atmosphere, food was very oily/greasy. I am toying as to whether I go again, if I do I will order something that I have had before in other Thai restaurants and will be able to compare like for like.
I can honestly say that I will not have Thai iced tea again, not bad, just not my 'cup of tea'.
