Thaihey NOLA presents Novel Thai Cuisine with a cozy space in the French Quarter. We offer a concise menu with creative interpretations of regional gems from across Thailand including delightful vegan and vegetarian dishes.
Freaking fantastic. The best Thai food I’ve ever had. Service was excellent - Jessica and Misty were awesome. They brought us another drink when my girlfriend knocked over her glass and shattered it. Very classy. And big portion sizes!! We only ate vegan and loved everything we ordered: Saints 75 cocktail, Tofu Satay, Pumpkin Curry, and Massaman Jackfruit Curry. Would highly recommend to anyone!!!
Loved the food. Excellent vegan options. I had fried tofu and lotus stem (starter/appetiser) and Jackfruit curry with sticky rice. Both tasted yum super yum. I'd go by Greg's recommendations. He knows what he is talking about. The bartender, too, had excellent choices to recommend in the non-alcoholic drinks department. Overall, I highly recommend this place.
My only gripe was seating. My table was next to some dusty pipes. This, despite other tables being unoccupied. But that won't stop me from dining here again next time and recommending it to other tourists who want to try some Thai. Love the place, kind employees, good ambience, what else can you ask for? Just head to Thaihey after a nice walk around French quarters and Jackson Square. Healthy portion alert: Work up an appetite if you want to try at least 2 dishes, which you should.
Highlight of the trip so far. We stumbled across this place by accident but I'm so glad we did. This was one the best, if not THE best, Thai dishes I've ever had.
I'm vegetarian and the vegan options were amazing. The chef has won awards for their vegan cooking and it's easy to see why. My partner had the catfish which she also said was excellent.
The decor and service are also excellent, relaxed and friendly.
Brilliant.
Very flavorful authentic but with a hint of Louisiana local flavor. Ordered the catfish and pumpkin curry and the Khao Soi noodle with Gulf shrimp. Both dishes were amazing. I ordered mild - but it was more of a medium spice but just under my limit in terms of heat. Loved it! Would definitely recommend if you like authentic Thai.
When I walked in I felt like I was being welcomed into someone’s home. Misty and Jessica delivered incredible service. I ordered the fried okra and vegan pumpkin curry. SPICY but so delicious and great on a cold night. Coming back tomorrow for the Vegan Cheesecake (was too full for dessert). Thank you for your hospitality, it will be a highlight of my trip to New Orleans.
The place is cute, well maintained and with a great vibe.
The service just perfect, quick friendly and caring.
The food was incredible, perfectly balanced, probably the best dinner I had in New Orleans, definitely the best Thai restaurant here and the best place if you want vegan options.
I was so impressed by the food that I was speechless beyond "wow," "holy smokes," and "this is incredible." My bf and I were both blown away. I went back for lunch the next day. Highly recommend the fried okra appetizer and the vegan Khao Soi. They have a good amount of vegan options, and I wish I was in town long enough to try them all!
Probably some of the best food I have eaten in the United States. Very flavourful food. Several vegan and vegetarian options. Do not miss the okra appetiser dish, arancini balls and the jackfruit Massaman curry!

Delicious food and creative drinks with a wonderful owner

One of our favorite meals in NOLA. We loved the atmosphere, the service, the drinks, and the food (especially the desserts). May and Misty were wonderful. Overall a great meal!
We love Thaihey!!! We have been there multiple times and it never disappoints. The green dumplings, arancini, short rib yakamein, and chicken khao soi is a great meal for two! Purple Palmer is so refreshing and tart and goes great with the rich curries. Thai tea is always a winner. It’s an awesome French Quarter restaurant for lunch or dinner!!!

SIMPLY WOW!!!
Good food and drinks!
Such a great new addition to the French Quarter. As locals we are so happy to finally see some authentic, non-tourist focused restaurants opening up in the French Quarter. The vegan green curry was delicious, as well as the fried okra. Service was very friendly. We will be back soon!
The vegan menu is OFF THE HOOK. Fried okra, mushroom larb salad and massaman jackfruit - probably the best thai food we've had in the states. Add the vegan cheese cake to that. Don't miss this place.
Amazing food and great service. Multiple gluten free options on the menu too. Highly recommend.
This is my favorite restaurant in the city! They literally never disappoint me!
amazing thai food, love that there’s spice levels and so so flavorful
Incredible food and beautiful presentation! Great vegan and gluten free options! Creative and delicious drinks too! Just be careful with ordering the curry hot - they really bring the Thai spice!
Hands down, best Thai food I have ever had. We started with the arancini, which set the stage for everything that came after. I ordered the Tom Yum Gulf Shrimp and ... what???? Are you kidding me ... salt / fat / acid / heat / umami ... it's everything good about eating. The first taste of the broth made everyone's eyes light up; I've never had anything like it. The pumpkin curry tofu was very good also. If you're in NOLA, you absolutely must try this place!!
One of my favorite restaurants ever. Despite coming from NYC, Thaihey has the best Thai food I’ve ever had. As a vegan, I have tons of delicious options that feel purposeful, not like an afterthought. I always make a point to go to Thaihey when I’m in the area and I always miss it when I’m not nearby. The staff is always incredibly kind and attentive, helping foster a refined but welcoming environment. I cannot recommend the fried tofu, vegan khao soi, and vegan Thai tea enough!
The Khao Soi Chicken was amazing! Highly recommend!!
Has to be one of the best places for vegetarian/vegan food in NOLA. Highly recommend!
Easily the best Thai food I’ve ever had! I’ve traveled A LOT and Asian food is my favorite food so trust me! ❤️
The was definitely the best resturant we ate at in New Orleans! The food was so delicious! The service was amazing!
Probably my favorite meal I’ve had in my 5 days in New Orleans
Seriously PHENOMENAL. Great ambiance. Excellent service by Jessica and Annie!. The food. THE FOOD. authentic Thai food executed to perfection with sooooo many vegan options!!! This is on par w Thai food in NYC. Haven't had anything this good in years. Not to mention everything, the hot tea, panda infused water, you can tell is made with love. Highly recommend!
After eating here a second time, I would pit their vegan menu against any full thai menu in the city and it would win hands down. The spicy eggplant is ridiculous.
My husband and I tried this place 2 years ago in the beginning of our van trip across the country. And so far this has been our favorite restaurant in the country. From their rice infused water to their pumpkin catfish curry, to their drinks everything has been so amazingly good! We literally came back to New Orleans mainly for this restaurant 😂 but seriously We Highly Recommend It!!
I devoured the food before I could take photos 😬. But this blows other Thai food out of the water. We had the fried okra, tofu satay, jackfruit massaman curry, and vegan cheesecake. So many vegan , gluten free options! The flavors were stunning and incredibly memorable. The staff was on it! Very friendly and personable. We eat a lot of Thai food, but this is different. It's a truly special spot, and if I still lived in New Orleans, I'd be a regular. Worth a trip to the FQ! You will be delighted!
We had a great experience here. The ribeye soup was incredible as was the seafood dishes we ordered, some of the top food we’ve had on our trip to New Orleans.
Waitress was great and made sure our allergies were taken care of.
How on earth could anyone ever give this place less than a perfect review is beyond me! I’ve traveled the country for years in search of the best healthiest most authentic Thai restaurants and this takes all the cakes. The attention to detail is astonishing. Even the water is soaked with pandan leaves to give it a rice water flavor. Nothing was too sweet like most Thai places are. Flavors all perfectly balanced. Tom kha, pad Thai, Khao soi, fresh jackfruit massuman curry.. all the best versions of these dishes that I’ve ever had anywhere. I can’t believe there wasn’t a line out the door.. also the Thai iced coffee with salted caramel foam is the best coffee drink in the galaxy! Service was also impeccable. I’m still a little in shock of how good it was. I’d drive the 10hrs back to Nola just to have another meal here!!
Incredible vegan menu, ambiance, service, and food. The pumpkin curry with tofu was out of this world.
I'm a big Thai food fan and Tom Kha soup is one of my favorite dishes. Bland and overpriced, I ordered the Tom Kha Tofu soup and it was tasteless and luke warm. When I pointed this out to the waiter, he refused to do anything to correct the order. When I then said I didn't want it, he said I'd still have to pay for it, along with their mandatory 18% service fee, as they do not take any dishes back.
After the waiter spoke with manager Nathan on the phone, he agreed to knock off 25%. So they admitted they were wrong but still we're not willing to take off the whole soup AND THE WAITER THREATHENED TO CALL THE POLICE when I tried to negotiate further saying I could pay what he's asking or he'll call the police.
I only took two sips of the lukewarm tasteless soup but was forced to pay for half the soup, plus an 18% service fee on top of that. Plus their receipts have the gall to have a tip line after forcing customers to pay 18%.
Thailey Nola feels like a tourist trap. In addition to my food complaints, at one point they opened the doors wider when it was cold out, making me cold. And my jacket fell on the floor and the floor was filthy, leaving dust on my jacket. They clearly don't clean the floors like they should, which would then concern me about the cleanliness of the rest of the place.
They clearly don't care about your experience as a customer or even doing the basics of serving hot food, or food that has any taste whatsoever, so I would suggest avoiding this restaurant.

IN RESPONSE TO OWNER NATHAN'S RESPONSE TO MY REVIEW BELOW:
This is the epitome of a bad faith response. Nathan or his staff is outright telling lies. I never threatened to "dine and dash" as he says below, nor would I ever. While I had my credit card out ready to pay, I asked once again that the 25% discount the waiter was offering be more to take off my soup that I did not eat because it was lukewarm and tasteless. I was always willing to pay for my wife's soup, therefore "dine and dash" was never uttered or threatened.
Just ask yourself this, why does this restaurant have an 18% mandatory service charge listed on the menu? Is it so they can be as rude as they want and serve subpar food and still make an 18% service fee?
Also ask yourself what restaurant has a "Refund Policy" listed on their website?? Is it maybe because so many customers have been unhappy with their subpar and tasteless food that they felt the need to write up a refund policy so that they could be a Tourist Trap?
And who threatens to call the police on their customers?
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THAILEY NOLA!
Best Thai food around. A little high on the price, but hey, it's the French quarter! The lobster dish with a side of jasmine rice pairs perfectly with the spicy curry coconut sauce it's drenched in. The fried lotus was divine as well as the beautiful cheese cake the chef had whipped up that day. There was not one thing we did not order in the menu that wasn't absolutely spectacular. Please give this business the love it deserves and give them a try, you will not regret it .
First time…the catfish squash curry was way over salted which made the whole dish inedible. Would not recommend breading the fish at all…not fitting for curry which is already heavy in itself. If I’m paying $20 for fish in a small bowl of curry I’d like to be able to detect the fish. Nothing close to resembling Thai food… Super disappointed
Phenomenal food, got the catfish curry and the spiciness was perfect. Fish was perfectly seasoned (I tasted lemongrass) and complemented the sweet and spicy curry perfectly.
Coffee was well done with coffee ice cubes to prevent dilution (very well thought out)
Impressive vegan okra fry that would make even the pickiest carnivores cave and devour the bowl.
Very interesting takes on thai cuisine using louisiana ingredients like okra and catfish.

We recently visited New Orleans and the Pumpkin Curry Catfish at Thaihey was the best thing we ate during our trip. The Pad Thai was good, too. We went to Thaihey because it was supposed to be good and good for gluten free - it delivered on both accounts. If you tell them you want something spicy, they will make it spicy, so be careful with that.
The service was poor, and the ribeye was even worse. I tried to let the server know, but she told us to wait and never came back. Perhaps only the “admired” customers are appreciated here.
Go for Vegan curries , Tofu Starters, cocktails
10/10. This was some of the best food I've had Anywhere. Period. The chicken wings are The Best wings I've had. Frog legs were out of this world, so tender and juicy. Softshell crab and short rib ramen also fantastic. Be aware the chef is Thai so when you ask for your heat level know what that means. We had the Beauty and the Beet and the Siam Mule and both were so tasty and balanced. We came here because we walked by and everyone's plates looked amazing. Not only do they look incredible, they all taste incredible. This will be a must-stop everytime we come to NOLA.
Absolutely delightful food. I had allergies and the chef worked around them to deliver a beautiful dining experience. Delicious cocktail, green curry dumplings to start, a wonderful pad Thai main and homemade Ubi ice cream to finish. One of my favourite dining experiences in a LONG time and my favourite in NOLA!
This place was the only best meal I had during my short stay in NOLA. So good I came back the next day and had the vegan Khao Soi both times. Incredible, probably some of the best vegan Thai food I've had.
The restaurant is small but pretty and comfortable and had a nice ambiance. The service is also top notch and speedy. I already miss this place and when I come back to NOLA, I'm immediately hitting it up again. Absolutely recommend!!!
Absolutely the best Thai food. Dang! Tom Yum … yum yum (order it medium spicy). The jackfruit curry - brilliant! Service was exceptional!
Really lovely and intimate restaurant. The tofu satay is wonderful. Great vegan options. Definitely try this restaurant. Must be supported!
This was our best meal for our week long trip to NOLA. Everything was so good (the atmosphere is very cute, the water is pandan-infused and tasty, the cocktails are smooth, service is warm and friendly, and the presentation of the food is beautiful). This place will be a regular stop for us for our next trip. We ordered the Catfish pumpkin red curry, green curry dumplings, (Tom kha lobster ravioli), and the Saint 75 cocktail. Run, don’t walk here.

Brilliant.
UPDATE: over 2 trips, i’ve spent 7 nights in NOLA. of those 7, i’ve spent 4 eating dinner here. i’m not convinced Thai food gets much better than this anywhere (at least as a vegetarian that’s been to Thailand 3x). every single dish here is worth getting the thai tea comes with ice cubes made of thai tea. the servers - Jessica and Misty - are hilarious, chatty, and happy to personalize everything. i couldn’t recommend this enough, but i’ll just say i will never visit NOLA without visiting here
OLD REVIEW: This place has incredible food, and the staff here are warm and thoughtful. It has a ton of vegan options and also some Louisiana-Thai fusion dishes such as the crawfish green curry. I’d strongly recommend ordering that, the vegan khao soi, and the satay tofu. In terms of thoughtfulness, the ice cubes in the thai iced tea are made of thai tea! What more could you want?!
Absolutely fantastic in every way. Great options for vegetarians and combinations/dishes not often seen in other Thai restaurants. Highly recommend!
Ordered takeout for working lunch. I had the pumpkin curry with tofu. I ordered mild, and it still had a kick to it. It was delicious. It was a big enough portion for 2 to share.
SO GOOD. I was recently in NO for a work trip and my boss made reservations here. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server Jeremy. He explained the infused water and gave us time to peruse the menu. I was very excited to see so many vegan options. I got the green curry vegan and it was excellent. My boss and colleague were also very pleased with their meals; my colleague got the crab fried rice and loved it. I can't recall my boss's meal (she loved hers as well), but she is gluten and dairy free and had several options to choose from. We liked this spot so much we came back a second time! Jeremy was again our server and the food was just as good the second time. I will most definitely be back.
Has vegan options. Clearly labeled separate section in the menu.
Ok, wow. Just happened to walk into this small place by walking by it. Didn’t think much of it. Then ordered the short rib massaman. Little unusual to combine short rib with massaman curry, but WOW. Honestly one of the best dishes I ever had. A MUST try. Staff was friendly, and the place was cute. Small business for sure which is nice for everyone to support. Please consider this place when looking for a taste of Thailand. Going back again tonight for seconds.
So many great vegan and gluten free options! Well thought out vegan menu.
Amazing food vegans.
The pandan water was unique and a special treat that I loved. Tofu satay was delicious, vegan khao soi was delicious and perfectly spiced. I loved the pumpkin cheesecake, a very unique flavour and super creamy. My non-vegan brother said the fish was cooked to perfection.
I wish I was in town longer! The food, cocktails and service here are both really thoughtful and excellent. We had the kabocha squash red curry with catfish and chicken khao soi - super flavorful, meat crispy and tender, hearty with generous portions. Gabe and Misty were both lovely and gave us recommendations on the cocktails and menu. Even the water is good (they infused it with pandan leaf). A real gem.
The place is cute, well maintained and with a great vibe.
The service just perfect, quick friendly and caring.
The food was incredible, perfectly balanced, probably the best dinner I had in New Orleans, definitely the best Thai restaurant here and the best place if you want vegan options.
No hyperbole. My favorite restaurant in New Orleans. I know what I said. But, bring back the crawfish dish!!!
Amazing Asian fusion food with great service! Best food in the French Quarter!
INSANE VEGAN THAI. Thank you for so many amazing vegan dishes to try and enjoy.
Top, award winning meals. So delicious and the entire dining experience exceeded our expectations. Drinks were bomb too. We tried 3 drinks and they were next level delish; beauty and the beet, Tres Amigos & Siam mule. So flavorful and tasty.
We also didn’t leave a drop of our Fried Okra, tofu satay, Khao Soi or Tom Kai. Yuzu dragonfruit sorbet was good too.
We were lucky enough to meet and thank the owner in person. So kind, humble and a talented chef to boot. What an incredible dining experience…..we went back two times in 4 days. Thank you 😊 🙏
Amazing food. Excellent preparations. Great customer service in a nicely decorated place.
I don’t recommend going there - the waiters don’t tell you that you will be charged 18% (sic!) in addition to your bill as a gratitude! Can I decide if I want to pay? Since when tipping became mandatory? The burden placed on customers to calculate and provide these gratuities is a terrible and unfair practice. Employer should pay liveable wages, not a customer!
In addition to this, after spending an hour there you are going to smell like fried food for the rest of the day.
They will rip you off, but when I asked to pack my food for me that I couldn’t finish I was given a box to do it myself. Still yet did not receive a bag, had to go and ask for it.
Pick other places in NO with better food and where you can decide if you want to tip.
This place is incredible. The fried okra appetizer and the jackfruit curry were both to die for. The server was super friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back!
Absolutely amazing!
If you like eggplant this is the best. Eggplant with shrimp and the chicken salad were delicious
11/10. I know Thai food very well and the food here was unbelievable.
Highly recommend the massaman beef rib. The flavour is life-changingly delicious. I came not very hungry, the size was huge and I managed to eat the whole thing, couldn't stop eating.
Service was amazing too.
Great Food, Great Service, Great Experience!
Me and a coworker stopped in for lunch for tbe first time, and both ordered shrimp paid thai it was okay to me I am used to thia'd up paid thai that has spices in it but my coworker cleared his plate lol
Very delicious food. Service amazing. Will be back once I visit New Orleans again.
I wish I could this place 6 stars in every category. What a pleasant dining experience from beginning to end! Thank you Misty and Renee for your excellent hospitality. We even had the opportunity to meet the owner, such a standup guy and his lovely wife is the chef. They are in the process of reinventing their menu so there are plentiful off-menu specials available. The food was seasoned to perfection and beautifully presented. I love that they serve water that’s been soaked in Pandan leaves! I can’t wait to go back.
This was the best fried OKRA I've had in my life!! Vegetarian here and they are great for fellow veterans as well! The tofu was cooked perfectly and the peanut sauce was insanely good too! Highly highly recommend especially if picky Thai food eater like myself!
Vegan green curry is amazing!
Food is amazing. Very unique and modern with East meet West Thai cuisine.
Black ink squid pasta and shrimp but cook in drunken noodle style.
Drinks are great. Also, very strong but not overbearing.
Came here for the first time with the family. Ordered the Ribeye Pad Thai, Pumpkin Curry Fried Catfish, Khao Soi Chicken, Thaihey Spicy Ramen Pork, and some Thai Teas. This restaurant doesn’t sell the traditional Thai dishes or even substitute any ingredients. And overall, pretty expensive, but it was very delicious. As much as I was expecting it to be mediocre because they didn’t have a lot of the Thai dishes that I’m used to, it was surprisingly very flavorful and delish. My whole family enjoyed their dishes as well. Food presentation and the ambiance were great.
The staff are fast and very friendly. We stay in a hotel in the area so we walked. It’s in the busy area of New Orleans so I’d recommend parking in a private garage. The restaurant isn’t too large so dining tables are limited. They have 2 restrooms.
If you want to have the best ever Thai food especially with insane vegetarian and vegan options, then this is the place. We already went there twice and just couldn’t believe the food. Order anything and you will be pleasantly surprised. Also, try the dessert of the day. We got Thai Tea Cheesecake and really unlike anything we’ve had ever.
Best Thai food in New Orleans hands down. Also our server, I think his name was Jordan was so so good!
It’s such a cute place. The people that were there were super nice. I got like about an hour after they opened for dinner and was seated immediately.
The cocktails were soooo delicious. They were strong and not sweet which I appreciate. I ordered the Mai Thai and the East Meets West. For starters I order the fried tofu followed by the shrimp pad Thai and then the dragon fruit sorbet. Beautiful presentation and delicious food. 10/10 would recommend.
18% tip is automatically applied to each check.
The Mussaman curry was to die for.
Their food is awesome as always...just love the food and eating there.
We popped in here for a snack that ended up becoming lunch because of the large vegan menu.
The service is top notch. Jamie was great and gave good recommendations and information on what could be customized.
The arancini is worth going back to New Orleans for. It's probably one of the best appetizers I've ever had. The eggplant is quite a remarkable and creative dish. I would definitely visit again.
I flew in just in time for dinner. My friend is vegan, so we settled on walking here since it was close to Canal Street without being in the thick of it. We arrived just in time to be seated and eat before they closed. I ordered the softshell crab, which was served on a bed of salad and came with a side of jasmine rice. The sauce that came with the meal was so flavorful and well worth it. It completed the meal so well. I would definitely get this again!
This place was absolutely delicious. We ordered 2 vegan Khao Soi, and the Tofu Satay. It absolutely blew my mind, so flavorful and hot! 10/10 spot. Loved that they had an entirely vegan section on their menu.
I had an extremely bad experience here. After ordering the food, we waited more than one hour and had no food. If you ask the waitress, she only says: hold on. She is impolite and unprofessional. They even automatically charge 18% tips with such bad service. Don’t go!
I had an extremely disappointing experience here due to the staff's unprofessional behavior! After making us wait for over an hour, our request to switch our order to takeout was poorly handled. We waited an additional 20 minutes without any sign of our food. When we asked to verify our order before payment due to the delays, the server became confrontational and demanded our credit card without showing us the food. This level of service was unacceptable and made for a frustrating dining experience. BTW, there is a mandatory 18% tip❗️
Food is pretty good. Although they auto add 20% tip, and ask for more tips on top of that.
TRY EVERYTHING ON THE MENU! This restaurant is fantastic. By far, my favorite Asian restaurant in the metroplex. The food is over the top incredible, beautiful display, creative flavors. The drinks are meticulously crafted and nothing like youve ever tried before. Prices are more than reasonable, especially with the quality food presented. Atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable (love the soft blue chairs!). Missy was the waitress last night and she does an amazing job of blending the artsy, edgy New Orleans personality with friendly and personal attention to service. Definitely a place to take a date, friends, or even show off for business clients. A worthy break from the typical touristy style restaurants that litter the Quarter.
Excellent food and service. I joked with the wait staff asking if it would be weird if I came back tomorrow and the next day. They said it was a common occurrence so no not weird.
Great food and fabulous service. Jessica rocks!!!
This is one of the BEST Thai restaurants I've ever been to!! The food was amazing, and they have really good vegan dishes as well. The service was awesome too, and the waiter was so kind and helpful! I highly recommend this place to anyone searching for a Thai restaurant in New Orleans.
Mouse ran in from outside twice next to me while eating. The food was average and quite overpriced for the portions.
Awesome vegan options! See HappyCow app for more details :)
Love it ! The was 15 min before they close and we got our order Togo ! I just say LOVE IT🥰 . The guy at front was very nice and helpful. I will go back again next time when I’m
In New Orleans!
Best Thai! Always amazing. Such creative dishes and everyone is always friendly.
I don’t review restaurants but the food and the staff were the best that I couldn’t leave without giving this team a warm thanking.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This place is amazing! Not only the best Thai food I ever had, but some of the best food I have ever had!! And great service too. Thanks Jessica and Misty. The chef is from Thailand and incredible! Highly recommend.
This place was absolutely delicious! My sister and I just stumbled across this restaurant and OMG so glad we did! Our server Greg outstanding with hospitality! We will absolutely return! Greg recommended the Khao Soi Chicken it is a must try! We got it mild soooooo delicious! We also had the Thaihey fried okra and it was also delicious 😋
Highly recommended 👌
O.M.G. so good vegan Thai. Out of this world. Epic. (You get the point, yes?) Good cocktails as well. Make a reservation, seating is limited.
We stopped in unexpectedly for lunch and had no idea what we were getting into. This was one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the fried okra, to the larb smoked salmon salad, the massaman jackfruit, and the tom kha ravioli — Every dish was perfect and thoughtfully prepared. Misty, our server, was so gracious and friendly, and clearly loves the food as much as we did. Don’t miss the chance to dine here if you’re in the area!
Possibly the best meal I’ve ever had in my life. Super well thought out menu and Michelin star level dishes. Water is infused with pandan leaf and everything has a personalized touch down to the coffee infused ice cubes in the Thai coffee / Thai tea. Very underpriced for the quality and definitely a sleeping gem in New Orleans. Wish I had taken pictures. The jack fruit was next level and has won local awards from a vegan food competition. Misty was very patient and top notch with service and has clearly had a lot of experience with fine dining.
I cannot recommend this place enough! My first time here and I was nothing but impressed the entire time. Literally how we found the restaurant is because we could smell the spices while walking by. I had the Khao Soi shrimp with a mild spice level and my partner had the Massaman Shortrib curry. The shrimp curry was amazing I have no critiques, I just wish there were more noodles in the soup because I just wanted more it was so good. My partner loved her shortrib curry to and it’s sooo much of it so be prepared for leftovers for sure. I would just say if you are not a fan of cinnamon then you’re not going to like the shortrib curry, but we like cinnamon so it wasn’t an issue. Also HIGHLY recommend the Thai tea here, they put an awesome spin on it.
Save room for dessert!! Wandered in on a whim exploring the area and was delighted. Couldn’t decide what to pick- my server helped me out. Catfish was spectacular. Pea drink was outstanding (and I LOVE that they had a whole section of non-alcoholic fancy drinks!). And bananas foster? I kept myself from licking the plate. So happy I was able to walk in; amazing find. A great end to my visit!
This is the BEST food I’ve ever had and I’m not exaggerating. The value for money and the taste is TRULY EXCEPTIONAL. I ordered the Spring Fling drink and the vegan Khao Suey (Thai spicy) and both were so so delicious. My husband ordered the Spicy ramen pork ribs (Thai spicy) and he absolutely loved his dish as well. Do not miss out on this place! Jessica and Misty were wonderful and so friendly. We are definitely coming back here!
Get the fried okra. It’s insanely good. The service was excellent and the vibe is great. Don’t think, just go!
This place is a gem for enjoying a meal! The service was exceptional, especially with our hostess Misty who made sure we were well taken care of.
I ordered the Pork Rib Ramen, and it was absolutely phenomenal - worthy of a Michelin star! The explosion of flavors was delightful, and it paired perfectly with the rice balls recommended by Misty.
We even had a taste of New Orleans with a wedding procession passing right in front of the restaurant, adding to the overall experience. This place is a definite must-visit if you're in town!
Food was out of this world and packed with tons of flavor! Walked in without a reservation around 6:30 and was immediately seated. Service from Misty was also top tier and super attentive. Very friendly, cozy vibe in here. I Highly recommend the pork rib ramen and the rice balls!
This was a surprise treaure in Nola. Everything was sooo unique and tasted awesome. Their mild is pretty spicy. The server was great and we celebrated our freinds birthday, they brought a banana foster with candle. We had ordered fried okra, lotus roots, fried shrimp. Their massaman jackfruit, spicy eggplant and tofu and green curry tofu.
Absolutely delicious, friendly and kind service, so many creative vegetarian and vegan options without any customization needed. The fried okra was delightful, even for those in our party who don’t like okra, the pumpkin-filled curry was rich and delicious, and the purple Palmer drink was refreshing and light. This is quite a find! My only piece of constructive feedback is that a few of the dishes were a tad salty for my taste, but I am nitpicking. I highly recommend!
The food was so delicious and packed with amazing flavors! Definitely worth stopping by!!
Best authentic vegan Thai & Malaysian food in the U.S.!!! They are so sincere about the whole experience, every dish and every customer. They use authentic fresh ingredients, like fresh lemongrass, galang, & kefir. I came here three times in the week I was in NoLa and every time was a wonderful experience. Half the menu is vegan. Best vegan food in NoLa!
Amazing!! We had the Koh Soi crispy chicken and it was delicious!! Just as good (if not better) than the ones I had in Chaing Mai itself 😍 thanks!!
By far the worst customer service in all of NOLA. I waited for 20 min before being offered a drink and another 20 min for anyone to check in after I was done eating, also never checked in to see how my meal was. Adding an 18% gratuity automatically results in poor services. Food was good but not worth the price. They also give you a gold leaf cup for your water that is meant to be a finger washing bowl, loaded w heavy metals.
Interesting and delicious dishes, so much flavor
Thers about 8 tables inside and the door is wide open to the street so what ever the cars blasting you will hear.
Also we were expecting food what we ate previously in baton rouge but it is not good as before. Food became more bland and smaller. I will go to other thai place in nola.
First day in New Orleans, my boyfriend and I searched so many restaurants, we are not that into Cajun or other kind of American food so we finally chose this Thai restaurant. We didn’t expect a lot but this place is amazing, everything is so good and exceed our expectations so far! Servers here are passionate and nice. Thanks to Misty and Jessica and also the server for giving us such a wonderful experience!
Was on the way to another restaurant when my nose caught a whiff of this amazing aroma and I had to change my plans. I’ve been to Thailand, I’ve had great Thai food in other cities, this place is the best I’ve ever had, and no matter what you get (though I recommend the jackfruit massaman) you will be more than satisfied.
Also I hope you get Misty as a server, she’s a treat and so caring.
One word: magical. Service by Misty and Jessica is warm and excellent. Cocktails made special to order. Vegan menu is phenomenal. I would come back to New Orleans for this restaurant alone. I’m not even done with my meal and had to post this.
Outstanding!!!!!The food was incredible. Service was very pleasant. Definitely recommend and will return.
Quite delicious modern and colloquial take on Thai classics. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend the fried okra as appetizer, and the Thai Tea was phenomenal.
Amazing food, everything we tried was delicious. They have a separate vegan session in the menu. Absolutely loved the okra and the eggplant and tofu dish.
Phenomenal. Had spicy eggplant and I have never had a dish that was so pleasing to the eye and so unbelievably tasty. The portion was exactly right and the food was fresh and beautifully prepared. I am going back to take my family and will recommend it to everyone. A wonderful dining experience!!!
Hats off to the chef and owner for the food menu and for the food.
Gabe was just amazing!!!! He was so sweet and helped us recommend dishes based on our preference. He was so polite and friendly.
The food was just amazing!! MUST TRY!!
The service, food and presentation were spectacular. We had the ocra, tofu satay, and tofu pad Thai. They were all fantastic, with the ocra and the satay sauce as standouts. The dishes were beautiful and delicious. We also had the dragon fruit pomegranate sorbet and loved it. Misty was our fabulous and attentive server and was very knowledgeable about the food. It was a completely enjoyable experience.
This is the best Thai food I have ever had in my life by far, the service is astounding. Unless you hate yourself, come eat here!
The food is fantastic, and the service is even better they were amazingly accommodating to complex allergies, Misty and Jessica are some of the best humans to walk the planet Earth.
If I get back to New Orleans, this will be my first choice of restaurant for lunch for dinner. They have a separate vegan menu with a great selection, and it was tough to decide what to order. My husband, sister, brother-in-law, and I were all thrilled with what we had and that we discovered this place. (Thank you Happy Cow!) (We all had the tofu satay👍🏻👍🏻; I had the Green Curry Tofu; hubby had the Khao Soi Tofu soup; sis had the Pumpkin Curry Tofu; brother-in-law had the spicy fried eggplant. Everything was delicious. The tea was great too.)
Great location, near French Quarter hotels, not far from the water.
Amazing food made even better by the amazing staff. We were in good hands with Misty — great recommendations, super friendly and funny! The Spicy Eggplant Tofu and Pumpkin Curry Tofu were our favorites, but everything was delicious. Highly recommend. Even the water was really good!
amazing food, drinks, and atmosphere. lots of gluten free and vegan options, which are so amazing. I can’t live in NOLA because I would eat here for every meal. our server, Misty, also ruled. highly recommend
The food was good, but very upscale and has a different flare than traditional Thai restaurants we have been to. A couple people in our party were disappointed that they couldn't order dishes they were more familiar with.
This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had, not just in New Orleans but anywhere! I enjoyed it so much, that I came twice during my visit. Every dish on this menu blends the fabulous flavor profile of Thai food with the familiar comfort of high quality meat and seafood. My all time favorite is the Massaman curry with lamb, but the crawfish green curry and soft-shell crab pad Thai are close seconds. If you are in the area, do not skip this place! The smell will catch your attention from the street, and once seated the elevated hospitality of Misty, Greg, and Nathan will ensure the experience of eating here is one you’ll remember forever. Thank you Thaihey for such exquisite meals, and I’m so excited to dine with you all again next time!
First let me start with Misty our server she was absolutely amazing gave us her recommendations for the menu items! This was definitely one of the if not best Thai food I've ever had hands down. If you are in New Orleans and looking for Thai food 10/10 highly recommend. Also be careful with the spice levels lol.
One word- Outstanding food! Not just great Thai food.. I mean outstanding food in every way. The taste, the quality of the ingredients, all of it together equals some of the best food I have ever eaten across several continents. It’s a MUST try and it will only make you want to come back for more. Misty, our waitress runs a very efficient restaurant and ensures your experience is the best. I can’t say enough about this place to effectively do it justice.
