Food is 🔥🔥🔥 Full of flavor and spice! Portions were large. We tried the pork ramen, basil fried rice, fried wings, pork skins, and dumplings. Everything was a 10!
Their staff was so nice and welcoming! The kindness and hospitality felt like dining at someone's home.
Loved the atmosphere as well. Nice soulful music playing, people enjoying themselves, but not a party if that makes sense. Just a real chill vibe.
We will certainly be back! There's like at least 20 more things we want to try haha
We were greeted by some of the staff and the owner as they were opening up for the day and everyone was beyond welcoming! They had great recommendations and the food was amazing. The portion sizes are HUGE you definitely get your moneys worth. Loved them so much! Especially the owner he was so pleasant.
The food is amazing. So many gluten free options and they are willing to modify to meet most dietary restrictions. It was so nice to have fried chicken (gf). I have to come back again on a Friday to try the gumbo ramen (gf). We will definitely be back. Thai tea is amazing, green Thai tea is even better (yes we had both lol)
Run, don't walk to this place. Benji is a phenomenal cook and her husband Gerald has the best most warm personality. You will love it here. The presentation is everything as well as the flavors that explode in your mouth. 10 out of 10 recommend! I had the E3 and Tom Khah soup :)
This is a nice lil ducked off spot with great food.. the owners and staff are friendly, attentive, and engaging... The drink selection is limited but it looks like it's a new but growing restaurant... the prices are reasonable for the taste and portion.. I will definitely recommend and will be back...
Family women business with great food

The food and service were great.
I tried the Larb salad and the young lady was so patient as I worked out which protein I wanted. What I received did NOT disappoint!
I went to Thai Nola with My buddy Lucky to catch up —- it was first time there and I was greeted and seated by the owner which was very warm and welcoming. I wanted to take it light because I’m tryna trim down so I got the basil veggie fried rice and a papaya salad. First the Basil rice was a large enough portion for me to get full and take some home… needless to say it was delicious… it had the Thai authenticity with a New Orleans accent..
I can tell it somebody in the kitchen that grew up on Thai food and been cooking it for a long time. The salad was good fresh papaya I asked for not too spicy and was right on points—- everything was balance - not to much of one flavor or less of another
My pallet was truly pleased. I had the green Thai tea to end the meal and it was delicious and refreshing.
Thank u for the excellent food and phenomenal hospitality the restaurant is truly a gem in New Orleans I hope yall grow and expand to uptown
I recommend to anyone who loves delicious food
This place is awesome! Food is delicious and the portions are amazing! We will definitely come back. This is a family-owned restaurant and they are the sweetest. Our big group stayed after closing time but they were so gracious to let us relax after a long day. Very memorable experience in the best way.
Thai Nola is a must !!!! Absolutely insane flavors, service and portions. The pineapple shrimp fried rice was absolutely out of this world, served in a half pineapple, and the portions were massive. The shrimps in a blanket were cooked perfectly and oh so crispy!! Oh yah, and make sure to try the coconut ice cream!! We are going back tomorrow before leaving town, so we can experience one more meal, and try the famous gumbo. Gerald and his daughter are so kind! Thank you!
I was floored by the food at this place. I had the garlic stir-fry with shrimp and the combination of the shrimp, broccoli, and sauce was absolute perfection. Incredible place!
OMG ‼️ Food was everything😋 Sorry I don’t have a photo, but once I started eating I couldn’t stop. Definitely a 5 star

What a treat! Get that pineapple fried rice. Feeds an army

Great place... Incredible food... Outstanding owner ship

Hands down best thai food i ever had the flavor of my garlic stir fry was amazing , it usually comes with broccoli which i dont like... big boss made it just the way i like it... a dish just for me lol wonderful service... my husband also got to try the gumbo and he loved it.... thank you guys for making our visit perfect!
The food here is sooooooo good. This is a must try everyday fa’ me. And the gumbo divine. This place has a very friendly vibe, nice music. Man this place is 10 all acrosss the board.
Repeat business is the highest compliment, I appreciate the entire family.
OMFG! BABY..... I loved everything from the time I steeped my feets into the door. Best customer service ever. Haven't seen or received this type of service in forever; so I'm going to say thank you Thai Nola just for the service. Now let's get into this food baby. I order the Padthi, and the gumbo along with the red fish; so baby just know when I came too experience that's just what I came to do. Baby the gumbo, I say is mf good. Everyone don't know how too make a gumbo because they from New Orleans; so with him and his wife combining ingredients, seasonings, and spices
"If you’re after perfectly balanced, authentic flavors with just the right kick of (custom)spice, this place is an absolute gem. Every time I go back to New Orleans, my first stop is here—yes, before I even head to my mom’s!
(She’s not thrilled, but she gets it, ha!)
The magic here is in the kitchen, where a true New Orleans native, serves up soulful Creole dishes, and his wife, who’s originally from Thailand, brings incredible Thai flavors straight from her roots.
You get the best of both worlds: dishes that are fully authentic to each of their backgrounds, not just some trendy fusion.
It’s a spot that gives you a true taste of New Orleans and Thailand all in one place, and every dish is clearly made with heart.
Trust me, if you’re in town, don’t miss it!
Takeout is all I have ordered from here, and it is always highly tasty food.
The drunken noodles [beef and chicken separately] was amazing.
Bon appétit!
Service was excellent food was fantastic!
We traveled from Atlanta, and once our plane landed, we came straight here. Immediately, we were greeted by the owner, who is really friendly and he engaged with us the entire time! We went with his recommendations, which didn't disappoint. The #3 special with jumbo shrimp and chicken. We also had the crab ragoons and fried sprimp rolls as appetizers. Everything was fresh and piping hot! I can't wait to return on our next visit.
This place is horrible. The spring rolls were flavorless and soggy. The pad Thai tasted like BBQ???? I threw it directly in the trash. Shocked
10+ first time going there and the customer service was great , nice and clean restaurant and the food taste so incredible
ordered online but they were friendly when i walked in! got the mango sticky rice
literally delicious & great portions for the price!!! def added 2 my list of food places in nola
First time visiting this fire spot on a couples dinner night. The portions of food are enough to feed 2 people, and the atmosphere is awesome with a wonderful playlist of music. I must say again that the portions of food are ALOT for one person, real good flavor, and spices with a very reasonable price amount. Sorry, I don't have any photos, but I had a bowl of gumbo and spring rolls, and my entrée was something I forgot the name of, but it's number E3 on the menu 😁. I will definitely be returning, and I will not forget the name of my meal and photos next time. They also have daily specials available. It is definitely a must visit.
There might be a little wait depending on the day of the week you visit but it is worth it. Try the Katrina Water while you wait.
When I visit my mom in Nola, this is our go to spot! It never disappoints. On this particular visit, I happen to hear her conversation while she placed her order. The owner knew her “usual” order. I was impressed. I lived in Thailand for 2 years. While the taste is not exactly like the food I had in Thailand (I’m sure due to a lack of certain ingredients in the USA) it’s damned close! I tip my hat to the owners and staff! Look forward to my next visit here from TX
Visiting home for the first time in 6 years. Thai Nola was my first restaurant stop. Family owned and operated business. The Owners (Husband and Wife) were extremely friendly and courteous to us. When the owners take time to make sure your meal and service is to satisfaction, you know you're in a welcomed and caring restaurant. They even joked with us for the night. This review is majorly service related because of how amazing and hospitable the experience was, but the food was AMAZING. That food with Cajun spin. This is just something of a rarity. Great service, Delicious Food! What more could you possibly ask for??!! Oh and try the Katrina Water if you're down for a drink ;)
Good Pad Thai
Home grown and family owned! Great food
The food and the "ThaiNola" drink is fire. I had a beef & shrimp noodle combo and Gumbo. Very nice atmosphere as well. Definitely coming back!
Tasty, the service was good.
First time here, I had fried Thai rice with shrimp... It was extremely delicious. Fresh, flavorful, large portion size, beautiful presentation...Staff really friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to returning and try other dishes.
Update : 8-31-24, I returned to this amazing restaurant, consistency with quality of food and presentation, owners make you feel like family, Thai tea is the best I've had.
Please note , on weekends, they can get pretty busy, if so, the owner will tell you they will be a Wait due to the food is MADE FRESH TO ORDER. Be patient with the owners and staff Everything is worth the wait.... They are busy because the food, drinks, staff, ambience are top notch...
"I’ll be adding this place to my monthly dining-out budget. The service was really great. I had never tried Thai food before, and I’m thankful that the young lady taking my order was knowledgeable and super friendly. She helped me make the best choice for lunch. The food was a 10/10. The portion size can feed two people. It’s a must-try soon. New Orleans East you have a winner—support them, y’all!"
Ordered whole redfish.. online price was $29 but when I got there it was $49..no one told me Abt a price change on the phone..I got Abt 6 greasy fries with my order..no cucumbers and the fish was not seasoned at all...I was pissed...I will never go back
Yo, so I was in the area and starving. Patio 17 was closed, and Orleans Brothers didn't have PoBoys, but they're still pretty good. Then I found this place called Thai Nola. The lady who took my order was super nice and helpful, she even helped me choose what to get. The customer service was on point! I stepped outside to take a call, and when I came back in, one of the owners handed me my food. He was also really cool and welcoming. The vibe of the place was chill and homey. And let me tell you, the food was incredible! I had some Thai rolls and this amazing noodle dish that the lady recommended. I devoured every bite. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. And guess what? I got a free Arnold Palmer because it was my first time there! I was just telling my dad that we should go to Thai Nola for dinner, but it turns out they're already closed. Needless to say, I'll definitely be back. They've got a customer for life here. I'll be recommending them to everyone I know.
The first time my daughter has ever tried Thai food and she loves it. She always begs me about it.
Absolutely amazing. Chilled glasses and good hot food. Waiter was extremely nice!
Dont be fooled by the 4.8 rating, this was the most flavorless pad thai ive ever had, and the noodles were super soggy. This is the 1st thai place in new orleans that gave me tiny frozen shrimp in the pad thai. Tasted like they made pad thai with lo mein flavor.
The food was amazing I loved everything can’t wait to come back
My husband and I was looking for something to eat we didn't feel like driving to Slidell. Early that day my daughter and sister was talking about this new restaurant in da east on Bullard . We love to try new food and this was the best and something new especially the ramen gumbo and combination rice the best. We enjoy talking to the owners daughter very sweet . Then the owner came introduce his self very down to earth. We will be back.
Owner was there. Very friendly and great host. He made sure I was good while waiting for my food. The food was amazing. We ordered the house rice, orange chicken, peppered beef, and a Thai tea. Everything was delicious. I gotta try the gumbo next time.
Customer service, food, atmosphere all 5 stars 🔥🔥
I had the gumbo with snow crab. Extremely tasty and full of meat: shrimp, chicken and sausage. It's like getting the bottom of the gumbo pot- plenty of meat and little juice.
The customer service was extremely professional and courteous.
Very lovely people working there. The owner is working as well. Very respectful and nice.
I’ve never tried Thailand food before. But it was a 10/10 experience. I really recommend it. The process is accesible as well. As they give you so much food.
Amazing food amazing people!!!
The food and presentation was awesome. I had the crab rice. Omg nothing like it. My new favorite spot.
great service and nice staff. it's a small business run by a family. they were very helpful with any issues. only problem is that the green curry sucked. do NOT get the green curry.
Great food!!! Great service!!! Clean place!!! Warm, inviting, friendly atmosphere!! Will be back!!!😃
Food is excellent, portions are more than you can eat and can take home to share
Thai Nola slaps. We’ve had it several times at this point and keep on coming back. The fried rice is my personal fav. The chicken satay, Tom yum, chicken, spring rolls are all good too!!! Yum. If you’re in the area try it out. They have delivery options too via door dash etc, but also easy order online or phone for pick up.
The food was DELICIOUS!! We'll definitely be back
Great Service And Great Food Food....A Hidden Gem 💎 👏🏽 👌🏾
Sitting in here waiting for my food and already giving this place 5 stars. The owner and his establishment get top praise for their hospitality-also the gumbo I got a sample of was amazing! My first official meal in Nola-thank you!🤩🙏🏻🫶🏼
This was my first visit and first of hearing about this place from Instagram. I was going for the gumbo amongst other stuff, but gumbo only on Fridays.
Let's just say it was well worth the traffic on a friday, a possibility of getting a camera ticket, and coming from the other side of the world.
I ordered the spring rolls, a bowl of gumbo, and a dish called Pad Ga Pow Combo( shrimp, chicken, and beef) with a thai tea for the drink. It was all delicious. I can't wait to go back and get the wings that they were out of and other things.
The service was phenomenal. It is a family owned buisness.
Oh, lets not forget about the presentation. It was well plated.
The only thing that I dont like is the location. It is in the East( Eastern part of New Orleans).
This first time trying Thai food and honestly I was a little scared so I didn't order much. But the Mango Sticky Rice was amazing. Lately I’ve been so sick of eating the same foods so this dish definitely gave me something different. The Nola Thai Rolls were amazing and you can definitely tell the ingredients are made fresh and the sauce that it comes with is a 10/10. Customer service was great, I placed a to go order on the phone and the guy i spoke with was nice and informative about the dishes. So if you looking for something different I recommend Thai Nola. I’ll definitely return and try some more new things.
We got to the restaurant before they opened, an it still took us a hour to get the food . The pad woon sen had a burnt taste that was very off putting !!!! The special of the day was oxtails, rice an gravy, cabbage , sweet potatoes, corn bread. The oxtails were cut so thin where there was hardly any meat on the bone 😔 the cabbage was under cooked an tasteless, oh an there was mac an cheese which was good ,canied yam was ok, the gravy on the oxtails was not any i have ever had no taste. Then we ordered E-3 on the menu it was busting just too much fresh basil an the fried egg was fryed crispy hard couldn’t eat it but the flavor of sauce was real good. The first time we went here a couple of months ago ,we ordered pad woon sen an it was off the chain, that’s why we came back. But now I’m not sure if i will return!!!!!!!!
Great food and the atmosphere is awesome
Friendly clean Neighborhood family vibe
The gumbo 10/10.
Amazing Food!
Great family owned place!
The service was exceptional. The owner made us feel welcomed and valued!
We will be back!
Would we return? Yes, absolutely
Traveling thru New Orleans, we were in search of a nice meal that was not a chain restaurant. Thai is one of our favorite "genres" of foods, so to speak.
A quick google search of restaurants near me yielded Thai Nola, and it had favorable images and reviews and a unique name.
This is a family-run restaurant, so that is a ++ in my book!
We had two Thai teas, which were very good, better than our local Thai place.
I ordered the Pad Thai medium spice, and it was actually the BEST Pad Thai plate that I have had! It had a great presentation, and wonderful flavor! Portion size VERY ample!
Wife had Thai Nola Boiled Shrimp: excellent presentation!
Best Thai food in East Nola and the owner is awesome! Made our day stopping in.
Absolutely amazing owners and team good food drinks and service
We got take out tonight and Thai Nola is our new favorite Thai Restaurant. The service was top notch, the restaurant was nice, and the food was great. We had the crispy spring rolls, shrimp pad thai, and chicken pad Thai. It was fresh and delicious. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu, including the Cajun dishes.
Everything Is Awesome... From The Owner To Employees.... Great Spot To Be At In The East....
It is a good restaurant to eat authentic Thai cuisine. Each dish was huge and tasted fresh. The restaurant is vegan/vegetarian friendly. The restaurant hygiene was very good. The only minor point is the ac was too strong that made the food to get quickly cold. Please support this husband and wife restaurant. You can see they work very hard and try their best to accommodate each client.
Love the food
I had the Pad Ga Pow and the Crab wrangle.. it was amazing. Definitely filling will be back.
Great food and great service. Quite frankly I think I may have an addiction to the soup...
Don't sleep on this gem in New Orleans East. Customer service begins as soon as you enter. The atmosphere is just what the doctor ordered. Menu is a great mixture. Wish they were opened on Sundays.
While transitioning to a fully vegan lifestyle, I occasionally leaned towards pescatarian options when cravings hit. Recently, I tried Thai Nola and was pleasantly surprised by how healthy and delicious the food was. With so many restaurants in New Orleans, this one is definitely a must-try. The owner made you feel like you were a part of the family. It reminded me of my childhood in New Orleans East. Thanks, Thai Nola. Go show them some love and tell them the girl who was on the phone the whole time sent you.
When on a work trip out of town, I like to go full on foodie. When I saw a 4.8 average review with 75 posts at the time, l am kind of surprised as I don't think I ever saw that ever. Well, it is well deserved. The green curry was over the top. Spring rolls excellent, ant the owners fantastically polite and friendly. An absolute must visit on New Orleans East side.
Great food and great service and the chef came out to share her background. We travel in our RV across the country and love Thai food. This place had some of the best Thai food we’ve found. We took the recommendation from the owner (and husband of the chef 😀) and and it was fabulous!
Aight y'all this is gonna be a long one so strap in. My husband and I were visiting New Orleans for my birthday/ mardi gras. We were staying about 5 minutes away and after finding the restaurant I booked my birthday dinner at was actually closed, we drove over to see if Thai Nola was open. They weren't but it was mardi gras night so understandable. We made a plan to try again before we left. Last night we got in about 20 minutes before there kitchen closed. We were greeted with warmth from the owner Gerald and immediately felt like we were at home. My husband ordered the E3 with beef and large gulf shrimp per Gerald's recommendation and i ordered the South Thailand fried chicken (wings) with crispy spring rolls. He gave us some complimentary drinks as it was our first visit and about 10 minutes after getting sat down he brought us some complimentary crab rangoons.
We went back today because my husband promised him they'd be our last stop and he had their special of the day, gumbo with crab clusters ready for us and he lit up when he saw us walk in 🥹
We just got into the gumbo, 2 and a half hours later and it was still hot and some of the best gumbo I've ever had in my life.
The food is amazing, the restaurant is incredibly chill and welcoming and you can tell Gerald and his wife truly care about the people that walk in their doors and their community around them.
I wish I could pick this place up and bring it back to Texas with me but we'll be thinking of it fondly until we return
Everytime i come to this spot the food is amazing the ppl are so nice n friendly n the ambiance is so mellow i just luv it
Food's great but the service you get will always leave you satisfied.
Best service ever! 👍🏻
Service is great! Food is amazing! The ragoons were soooooo good and the pad ga pow is my favorite !!! Absolutely love ! 10/10 for sure !!
First time dining here and I tried the Pad Ga Pow stir fry on the advice of the owner. This dish was exactly how I expect stir fry to taste. The sauce was flavorful, protein plentiful, the portions very generous, but the vegetables were most impressive. All of the veggies were perfectly prepared, and I later learned that they were locally sourced. The restaurant was small but clean, and the owners were very personable. I would definitely dine here again.
The owner greeted us and made us feel so welcome from the very beginning. He also waited on us and gave us his recommendations. The food was excellent with portions large enough to share. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Thai food.
Calamari and dipping sauces are some of the best I've had in the city.
Garlic broccoli with gulf shrimp absolutely delicious.
10 out of 10 would definitely recommend the food, drinks & customer service was soooo good they even had some good ole school music playing. While talking to the owner I told him I was from Wisconsin and he let me try some Gumbo on the house which was delicious I would’ve taken a picture but I ate it super fast lol go show Thai Nola some love you won’t be disappointed.
Amazing service! Amazing food! Loved everything about it. I took my in laws who hadn't had Thai food before and they loved it and they couldn't stop taking about the owner and the food all night.
I ordered from Uber eats. I wanted to try a new place. Average at best. I didn’t eat the food. The boiled shrimp was good. The basil stir fry and green curry had really weird flavors. Won’t be ordering from here again.
My group of friends decided to try Thai NOLA after Ian McNulty write up. We were not disappointed. The owners were super friendly, and the crab fried rice, thai fried chicken, and basically anything that we ordered was amazing! Oh and the garlic fish sauce, just perfection! All 12 of us loved our meal and the experience. Everything is made to order and comes out when it's done. Would highly recommend!!!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thai Nola has become my go-to spot in New Orleans.
The Tom Yum soup is a masterpiece, perfectly balancing sour and spicy notes. It's evident that the chef takes pride in crafting dishes that are both comforting and exquisite.
The staff's attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm for the cuisine enhance the overall dining experience. They make you feel like a welcomed guest on a culinary journey.
The ambiance strikes the right balance between cozy and sophisticated.
I appreciate the thoughtfulness put into the vegetarian options, proving that flavorful and satisfying dishes don't require meat.
In a city renowned for its diverse food scene, Thai Nola distinguishes itself with a menu that captures the essence of Thai and Creole cuisine. It's a 5-star destination for anyone seeking great food and good customer service.
Looking forward to many more visits to Thai Nola!
Man My big brother G and his wife has everything you need from good service to the food. My home away from home.
Excellent Food! E3 Pad ga pow highly recommended! Level 2
The owner Gerold served us and was awesome! 🤩 Highly Highly recommend eating here!!!
GREAT place in East go try
Stopped by late afternoon because my son was craving gumbo. We had never been to Thai Nola before and wasn’t sure what to expect upon walking in. It was a cozy family friendly spot. I was greeted by a young lady, and shortly after a gentleman greeted us and took our order. We had called previously to be sure they had some. The Gumbo was by far the best I’ve had in the city, that wasn’t home made. The friendly and attentive customer service, made the experience even better. We will definitely be returning.
As a Thai food connoisseur, I think they should take a hint from Thaid Up Nola(on Gentilly) and Cafe Equator in Metairie. For the curry dishes they need to add bamboo shoots, instead of onion, as a filler. I was pulling out crunchy onions left and right. Also, tenderize the veggies in the curry a little better. The flavor was great, excellent presentation, but the fillers should be adjusted. I support black owned businesses so I just think these suggestions would improve the recipe and business!! To introduce black people to Thai food, do it the way Thaid up or Cafe Equator is doing it , or even better! On a more positive note, they have great Pad Thai!
Warm and welcoming staff. The ambiance was very peaceful and the cuisine was absolutely delicious! EVERYTHING WE ORDERED WAS DELICIOUS! *chef's kiss*. Will definitely be back soon!
Great Service!
Great Atmosphere!
The food is absolutely Amazing!!
The Basil Stir Fry and Spring Rolls, with level-one spice, are beyond delicious! This is the best Thai food that I've ever had. The food is so full of flavor and tastes so fresh. The hospitality is unmatched. It's a family restaurant, and the food is cooked and served with love.
After experiencing their food at NOLA East Fest, I drove from the Westbank just to get more of their delicious food, I wanted everything, but will have to do that on the the next go-round!
Everything I did get was awesome and it was definitely worth the Drive...I will be back!! The basil fried Rice, the gumbo, the Ga Pow!! WOW, my favorites! Tks Thai NOLA!!
Like very good
Great place
The food is 👏🏾 amazing
Friendly and personable staff. Food is cooked to order with fresh ingredients. My favorite spot to grab lunch in New Orleans East! Highly recommend!
The best Thai food ever! The owner and his daughter were so nice and made awesome suggestions on what we should order! The music was great and the atmosphere was amazing! The food and veggies were fresh hot and so flavorful! We will definitely be returning! Also try the signature drinks so good!
Amazing food. Huge portions. Well worth it.
So great to go around the corner and enjoy delicious Thai food in New Orleans East!! My boyfriend and I went in on a quiet Wednesday afternoon. Service was friendly and the atmosphere so beautiful and intimate with nice music playing at perfect level. The food was DELICIOUS! We had the shrimp in a blanket which we devoured before taking a picture. We also had the F2 Pad Won Sen combo which was plentiful enough for both of us to share and flavored perfectly. The owner suggested we try the E3 Pad Ga POW spice level 1 with large shrimp….AMAZING!!! Everything fresh and made with love! This is my new spot for pad Thai!!
Great Food
Best Thai food I've ever had!
Wait time of over an hour despite nobody in the restaurant. Server took fifteen minutes to even acknowledge us.
Food was excellent. Service was excellent. They accommodated my food allergies well. Those with food allergies know the struggle. This place handled it with ease and the food was delicious! My entire family loved it! 😊
Can't wait to go back!
Our visit to Thai Nola was phenomenal! My daughter and I enjoyed girls day and decided to make this our lunch destination! The moment we walked in the door we were greeted warmly and had the best experience. The owners, a lovely couple, were gracious and attentive the duration of our visit to their establishment!
The food was delicious, freshly prepared and recommended dishes were excellent! The Katrina Water and Mai Tai was the perfect pairing to our meals. The hidden gem next door aka their tattoo/ massage/ micro-blading business was a surprising find for me, I found myself purchasing a hand bag! Treat yourself and enjoy lunch or dinner at Thai Nola!
It was a 30+ minutes waiting for my food as there were a lot of pick ups and relatively shortage of kitchen staff. The owner was nice, food tasted nice. It was a big bowel of veggie curry with a lot of soup, hot, I was hungry, after a few one spoon of veggie, one spoon of rice feeding myself I took a few veggies on top of rice to cool at a time, and some more as I finished them, then unfinished was packed for to go. Strange thing happened, the bowl was shallower I poured it fast I guess that’s why I didn’t see initially, when I was emptying the to go box there was quite some rice at the bottom. It was strange, without ever putting rice in the soup where did it come from? Or where does the soup come from?
Friday gumbo special is delicious!!!!
Thai Nola is an amazing gem. This is a family restaurant that offers great service and food. The food portions are HUGE and everything is cooked to order. The prices cannot be beat and everyone is very friendly. We really enjoyed our experience dining here and cannot wait to come back. You will not be disappointed.
The food is awesome and the people are super chill. You'll feel right at home from the moment you walk in. I highly recommend it!
My experience at Thai Nola. It was a experience I’ll never forget. I walked in the door with a positive attitude and left out with a full belly. Taste bugs were happy and a positive attitude and met some new friends along the way. Going to make this my new hotspot I am going to make it my business to go wen I can, I am a foodie and I love a good food and good drinks. And yes, try their drinks as well. They are amazing. Thai mia!
Man everything i got was 🔥🔥🔥 Orange Chicken was delicious Thai Pad Chicken off da chain Crab Rangoon awesome and the Katrina Water was on point nice size servings also ... will definitely be back
This was my second time going there. From the young lady that answered the phone to the restaurant, to the food, everything was great. They give you a lot of food and the prices are just right. I will definitely be going back. I’m happy the we have something different in the East besides seafood and fast food places.
Great place. My hubby and I enjoyed our lunch there.
This family owned business definitely makes an effort to make you feel a part of the family! Everyone was so friendly and the food was amazing!! Keep in mind that everything was made fresh so it took some time but was definitely worth the wait! I had the chicken green curry and it was so flavorful with just the right amount of spice. Portions were very generous and I’m so looking forward to coming back!
I visited today, and I enjoyed everything. I recommend this restaurant to everyone in the east, great food.
I called in my order and was so thankful the young lady was honest about time frame and said she would call me when my order was ready…..much appreciated! The food was enough for atleast a couple of people and reasonably priced. But the taste was sooooo good. I had the spring rolls with a sweet and sour dip fried to perfection with fresh sautéed veggies inside. And the noodles can’t remember the name but it was F1 on the menu. It was so flavorful…. Lots of different flavors and texture popping off. Fresh cooked veggies, chunks of fresh chicken breast, well seasoned with a hint of spicy and sweet going on, sautéed and kinda crunchy steamed vegetables. Everything tasted so fresh and well prepared. Staff was friendly. I will recommend and definitely be back!!!!
Great food and service!!
The Best you won’t be disappointed!
The food was excellent and I will be going back. The owner and the service team were very nice to everyone that walked in the restaurant. The prices are affordable. I would recommend. I will take pictures next time I go. Glad we have this restaurant in the East.
The food was very good and the service was the best I have seen in a while. Very friendly!!
The staff, food and drinks are amazing. I had the red curry, delicious. If, your looking for a good drink try the Katrina water or the Mai -Ti in the pineapple. Much love!
Thai NOLA is a relatively new restaurant in NOLA East! It is not a large establishment, but it’s clean and comfortable. Almost like the neighborhood restaurants we use to have where you see friends, family, local politicians, or local business people, and everyone speaking/talking to everyone! That’s a plus for me!!!
The waitress was extremely friendly & helpful. She made sure that we were enjoying the food; some of which she recommended. The owner and cook even came out to chat with the patrons when business slowed a bit. This is that place where you feel welcomed & your business is appreciated!
The food was amazing. I enjoyed everything I ordered. My partner had the 1/2&1/2(shrimp & fish), while I had the Basil Rice & Green Bean Stir-Fry with shrimp. We also shared Rangoons. Of course, I was being big-eyed because there was no way to eat everything. I did attempt to though; lol! The portions are big, and the price is perfect! The food is cooked as you order, but it wasn’t a long wait between appetizers & entrees.(Don’t go when you are hangry, go when you can truly enjoy the full experience of the meal). Did I say everything was delicious? It was very tasty and doesn’t leave you lacking. I look forward to my next visit! Definitely a must try!
Unfortunately, I didn’t take pictures, but next time I’ll try to remember to do so before I dig in!
