Worst Thai food! Food is tasteless.I would not recommend anyone

Diner Review №2

Literally loads up the plate, black pepper chicken is SO GOOD

Diner Review №3

My wife and I both ordered Pad Tia here with no bean sprouts, one with tofu and one with chicken and received vastly different meals. We also requested that the meal be extremely spicy and received toddler friendly spice levels. This place serves far from authentic Thia food even when they make it to order instead of something already prepared. Extremely disappointing.

There was also a language barrier either from not knowing English or feigning ignorance and having to rely on a less motivated staff member to translate which led to some information about our dishes not getting through.

I would recommend trying the food they have premade and only ordering that to avoid the issues we had.

When I first ate here a few years ago the food wasn't as greasy, nor as sweet. Please go back to your old recipes. Especially the Thai chicken. I ate here on Friday and grease was running into my bag and settled into the bottom of the container! It was way too sweet. Fix this, please.

My wife and I were just passing through and were offered a sample. That's all it took! The employees were friendly and gave us a sample of all 5 types of chicken. I have a hard time believing some of the one star reviews that say the food was nasty. They will let you try anything before you buy it. We ended up getting the 3 meat meal and 50/50 noodles and rice. Everything was great! Everytime we visit Baton Rouge, we make Bistro Thai a priority destination.

Good food

I really enjoyed it! They make the wontons fresh so the crab and cream cheese filling is hot. The noodles and chicken were a little salty in my opinion, but for $9 you get a ton of food!

Overcharged my card. Told me my total wad 13 97 and charged my card 17.98. Didn't give receipt. Food is good but buyer beware.

My new favorite restaurant in BR !! I had black pepper chicken, cajun chicken and noodles and it was sooo damn good !!! I will be back several more times !!!!!!!!

Diner Review №12

I got lemon grass chicken and cajun chicken with the curry Mei fun noodles. It was so good. I will be back next time I decide to come to the mall

Diner Review №13

Food is very hot and fresh. Very good

Diner Review №14

This isn’t Thai food.

Diner Review №15

I had the black pepper chicken and Cajun spicy chicken with noodles.
This is one of the few times that something called cajun had enough a flavor and spice to merit the moniker. The flavor was excellent and the portions generous.

Four stars only because I’m Thai and this isn’t Thai food, but it’s delicious mall Asian food. Big portions! I grew up with parents that ran a Chinese food court restaurant and it’s takes me back to my childhood. The grilled chicken is really good and I love the fried rice and green beans. It doesn’t sit heavy like mall food usually does.

For the review that said it taste fishy, fish sauce is commonly used to avoid so much sodium in some dishes.

I got a combo 2 + 1 egg roll + large drink and it came up to be $16.95 after the $.49 surcharge for using a credit card (typical).

Less oily but still good on taste. Sufficient portion sizes. I usually go for veg fried rice, pepper chicken and beans.

Diner Review №20

Worst Thai food I've ever had. Would not recommend.

Diner Review №21

Great pad thai!

Diner Review №23

My husband ordered chicken with veggies and he said the food had a fishy taste, very gross

Diner Review №25

Amazing and delicious food. Nice portion size. Love it!

Diner Review №26

THE BEST ILL EAT THIS EVERYDAY IF I COULD

Diner Review №27

Delicious, fast, fresh. Got their Cajun shrimp with veggies and noodles and definitely delicious. Also they had cooked sweet plantains which are great!

Diner Review №28

Visited the mall today from out of state, My dad and I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat and most of the other food vendors had long lines, I was looking over and they waved me over, Offered me a sample of their chicken, I was hooked instantly, I ordered lemon and honey chicken, Let me tell you that was some of the best chicken I have ever had in a long time, I know I probably wont be back there anytime soon since I live out of state but I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the mall, Customer service was spot on and everyone had a friendly welcoming smile, 100% Recommend this to anyone visiting the mall.

Diner Review №30

I asked for a sample and the denied me but a white man asked for one and they gave them one

Diner Review №31

Great food. Their honey chicken and sugar biscuits were really good. They let you try to meats which is nice.

Diner Review №32

This is the worst thai restaurant I've ever been to. How dare they use the name of such a delicious culinary art form. It's truly despicable. They aren't thai, their food isn't thai, and they deceive unknowing Americans into eating their food. I love thai food, and this isn't it.

Diner Review №33

Basically, it's a Chinese styled restaurant that tricked me to think it's Thai. Pad thai was bad and soggy. The spring roll was horrible. Other food options were ok. It's served hot. If you want too try a Thai authentic dish, this one is not recommended.

Diner Review №34

The food taste like it was cooked a month ago. It's greasy and tasteless, to much condimented. I'm regreting to tried it

Diner Review №35

The food here is awesome. The customer service is on point. Always smiling and courteous. Definitely give them a try. My 8 year old daughter and I love it.

Diner Review №36

Usually when you think of the food court in the mall, you don't think 5 stars. 5 stars is the only thing that comes to mind after eating Bistro THAI. Great food, great prices and big portions. My family and I stop by the mall just to eat here, no shopping. Bistro THAI should open a full restaurant!

Diner Review №37

Good portions at great prices. Friendly staff and delicious food

Diner Review №39

watch out!! These people have tipped themselves several times after I bought food here!!! They’re sneaky money hungry Asians

Diner Review №40

The food is comparable to when you make Asian food yourself at home — it’s so good. I had it for the first time today and was able to split it for lunch and dinner. They have really good vegetarian options and so many more options than Sarku Japan and better quality than Mandarin Express. I usually get Sarku when I go to the mall, but the wait is ridiculous sometimes and today while waiting in line for what seemed like forever I just decided to hop over to Bistro Thai instead. Best decision I could’ve made. I got my food quicker than the time I spent waiting in line at Sarku.

Diner Review №42

The food is delicious and really well-priced for how much they give you! It can definitely last you two meals. They’ve also always given me a sample, and this time they threw in a free sugar donut. Great quality and very nice workers!!

Diner Review №43

I work in the mall and tend to stay away from Asian food in the food court since they typically upset my stomach due to being too greasy, but Bistro Thai was new so I decided to try it. Well, I’ve been eating this almost every day for lunch since they opened. They have fast and friendly service (important for lunch breaks), and the food typically lasts me 2-3 meals. The food isn’t greasy and it’s always delicious!

Diner Review №44

Had this with the family at the mall this past weekend. They are new to the area so we were hesitant but the food looked so good we had to try it out. Food was very savory and tasted amazing. Healthy servings at a fair price. It's a nice change from the traditional chinese takeout. Their noodles (like lo mein) used the traditional thick round egg noodles and was awesome. My kids really liked it too which means we are definitely coming back.
