Great food, fantastic service, and cute venue with great prices. Will definitely be back!

Diner Review №2

I will cut to it! I was completely turned off by the long black stran of hair I was chocking on, pulled that sucker out my throat while I was eating Pad Tai...I did not want to gross anyone out, but, sorry- I must!! It was long, Straight, and black!! Totally disgusting and disappointed as this was my first time ordering here. Perhaps, an "honest" mistake. I would advise tying your hair back and tuck that away from your food. I thought the atmosphere was quaint and service was pleasant, yet this was a pick up order, I stood only at the check out.
I tried calling the resteraunt to report it but, they would not pick up the phone!

Diner Review №3

Wonderful local restaurant! Has very interesting menu options, and a great atmosphere. We had Anna W as our server this evening and she was really kind and attentive. I definitely would recommend!

Diner Review №4

We are vegan so it is hard to find places that accommodate us… this restaurant had many very good vegan options, we had the massaman curry, fried rice, and mung bean noodle dish, all vegan, all delicious, it is more on the authentic side so if you like that you will love it. Usually I am underwhelmed by desert so I don’t order it but I was interested in the coconut jackfruit ice cream and that was the icing on top of the cake for a great experience, the jackfruit tastes like juicy fruit and the peanuts on top were a perfect touch!

Diner Review №5

This is "Real Deal" Thai cuisine. I had the pleasure of dining here this past weekend, and I can tell you, my first time won't be my last. We had the fried spring rolls, the steamed pork dumplings, the papaya salad, the Pad Thai, and the Curry Noodle Soup. Everything was outstanding, and I can't wait to try the Drunken Noodles next! Portions are generous, and for those unsure or unfamiliar with this type of food, the staff does a great job of explaining everything, including heat levels. There are plenty of options if spicy hot isn't your thing so don't be intimidated. We couldn't have had a better experience. If you're in the mood for authentic Thai, run, don't walk!

Diner Review №6

Hands down the best and completely authentic Thai restaurant in Louisville. Have not had good and authentic non " Americanized" Thai since moving from San Francisco. Until now! Just went there this weekend and wow! Fantastic Pad Thai and curry! Cannot wait to try more dishes. My husband and I had the wonderful pleasure of speaking with the owner. She definitely has a passion for her food and does not hold back on its authenticity. The staff is terrific as well and is great and explaining any of the dishes and condiments. Do not hesitate to go here. We will make this a go to place for us. Thank you for the true taste of Thai food!

Diner Review №7

We are visiting from Hawaii and love Thai food. This restaurant was a true gem to find. We enjoyed the warm welcome, beautiful settings and tasty food. Chef Kat came to greet us personally and shared that she is working on new exciting fusion dishes. We will try to return at least once more before the end of our visit in a couple days. When traveling through Louisville, DO NOT skip this treasure, you will not be disappointed. Family owned and family oriented.

Diner Review №8

They have the BEST Pad Thai. It is as authentic and flavorful as what you would get in Thailand. The pad see eew is also another delicious dish.

Diner Review №9

Chicken satay appetizer with fresh peanut sauce was fantastic.
Summer roll with shrimp was delicious.
Spring rolls were wonderful.
Thai iced tea was fantastic.
Massaman chicken curry was top notch.
Panamg City with chicken was top notch.
Pad Thai with chicken was top notch.
Pad king was top notch.
All sauces are made fresh from scratch and only when needed.
The best authentic Thai in Louisville and Southern Indiana.
Haven't found Panamg curry since we were in San Diego 6 years ago.
Definitely worth a visit again and again.

Diner Review №10

We just stumbled upon this place one day and gave it a try with our toddler. The service from everyone was over and beyond. The Curry Puffs (both chicken and vegan) were delicious. The Thai Tea is yummy. And the spice levels are nice and varied. Everyone was so friendly to our toddler, and always attentive to our needs.

Diner Review №11

Worst restaurant ever

Diner Review №12

Great staff and atmosphere. Really enjoyed meeting the owner and the food was fantastic as well. We’ll be back!

Diner Review №14

Waited 50 minutes after placing our order to receive our food. When my food arrived it was luke warm. The waitress was apologetic for the delay and proceeded to informed me that the person in the kitchen was new. I recommend not going there for lunch if you have time limits to get back to work. The food was just okay, nothing to go back for when there is another Thai restaurant down the street.

Diner Review №15

Love the food!! Today I popped in for brunch and had the curry eggs with potatoes. It was perfect. $3 mimosas on Sunday!! If you like spice you'll enjoy the spice caddy. Thai chili in fish sauce is my personal favorite.

Diner Review №16

The name got me in, the friendly staff and delicious food will bring me back!

Diner Review №17

This restaurant has fantastic service, an amazing vibe, and best of all delicious authentic Thai food. So glad to have found it.

Diner Review №21

Wonderful food, drinks, and service! Best Thai we've had in ages.

Diner Review №22

Hits on every level. I definitely coming back here bro.. sheeeeeesh 🧊 bourbon Thai tea & drunken noodles . But I know most yall can’t handle the heat 🔥

Diner Review №23

Found a new favorite restaurant!!! Loved how authentic it was and had the drunken noodles and Tom yum soup with a Thai tea! Delicious and will be coming back!

Diner Review №24

Our family just made our second trip back for dinner. Everything was delicious once again. Tho we were full, we highly recommend a classic Thai dessert, mangoes and sticky rice…..YUMMY!

Diner Review №25

Diner Review №26

So very disappointed with our food tonight. It looks so delicious in the pictures! Ordered Drunken Noodles with extra veggies and chicken which were so spicy neither of us could eat🌶️. I have to admit I did not read far enough to see it is made very spicy. The Pad See Eew
had a much better flavor and not the same level of spice however the dish was very dark in color and many of the noodles were so hard had to remove from my mouth. Really disappointed. I cannot recommend either of these. Expected better for the price$

Diner Review №27

I ordered the drunken noodles. Holy smokes, prepare for an intense spice. Fantastic dish. Will be back!

Diner Review №28

Their food truck was a huge disappointment. Their veggie pad thai had no veggies other than a few bean sprouts and I was charged an extra $3 for peanuts… on pad thai

Diner Review №29

Diner Review №30

Staff was really nice. Food was ok. I really enjoyed the huts inside the restaurant.

Diner Review №31

Value for dollar not there . .portion size just ok . Probably will not be back

Diner Review №32

Substituted yellow curry for Mussaman. Not authentic.

Diner Review №33

Diner Review №34

The food was pretty good, I had the chicken pad thai. However it’s stupidly expensive, 20+ dollars for a single pad thai. With that price, you’d expect the portions to be large but no, they’re not (not for the price anyways).

Diner Review №35

Ridiculously spicy!! We ordered everything mild and no one (5 entrees) could finish their meal. I called the restaurant and they said that there was no milder option. Would highly recommend avoiding unless you like very spicy food.

Diner Review №36

Very fun lunch with my mom today Delish and just the cutest place ever! Highly recommend the vegetarian spring rolls and the hot and sour shrimp soup! Very generous amount of shrimp!!!!

Diner Review №37

Great food and friendly service!

Diner Review №38

A rare find! It's hard to find Thai food (in any city) that measures up to the experience of eating Thai cuisine in Thailand. This sure does! Chef/owner Kat is welcoming and very knowledgeable and passionate about the food she serves her customers. The ambiance is delightful and warm, and the prices are extremely reasonable. I can't wait to go back and recommend everyone check it out!

Diner Review №39

I have (HAD) been looking for a place with cococnut curry as good/better than the now closed "La Que" on Baxter Avenue in the Highlands. There is good Thai in town, but to me... all of their curries fall short . I could tell as soon as it hit the table (by the color, smell and thickness) that this was going to be outstandig and.. I was right! UNREAL. I was back within a week for the stoplight curry (red, yellow and green) sampler. While I had intially had the Green (and was blown away) The red panang curry really stole the show on the second visit. That said, the yellow was also distinct and excellent as well! The ginger pork, pork belly and wontons are also highly recommended!

Diner Review №40

It’s so cute and fun inside! Really enjoyed the cashew chicken, Thai iced tea & coffee, coconut ice cream! The friend pork wontons and fried spring rolls were also delicious and soooo fresh. Our server, Nan, was wonderful!

Diner Review №41

We love trying new places - we did take out of a small soup, small green curry and a pad noodle dish.
The sound good consistency and lots of chicken but a little too citrusy for me.
The green curry had great flavor and I loved its thicker broth.
The noodles were good but I thought I ordered Pad Thai which apparently I did not and instead got the thin glass noodles - it had a bit of a smoky flavor but still good. Overall really good but the $47 for a small soup, small curry and noodle dish was a little more than I’d expect to pay.

Diner Review №42

Went for lunch. The lunch menu was very limited with just variations of fried rice and fried noodles only. They did provide the dinner menu when I asked for more options. Usually at Thai restaurants, they allow customization of spice level but it was not an option here. I actually love spicy foods but know that Thai spicy is very spicy and the food definitely stung. Again I was able to eat it bc I am used to spice but not sure how others handle it. The flavor could have been better. Been to many Thai restaurants as I usually find one in each city we travel to for my child’s soccer, this one was not a favorite. I probably would not return. Cute decor though.

Diner Review №43

The appetizer was good..service very good..the beef salad was cut in chucks not tender and very difficult to eat..pork belly dish to salty..not the best Thai food I have had

Diner Review №44

Diner Review №45

If you want the best Thai food in Louisville, All Thai’d Up serves original and very tasty Thai dishes.

We were greeted by the owner and our server was very knowledgeable about the dishes and explained about the four condiments on the table that could raise the heat level of your dishes.

We started off with Curry Puffs, Fried Spring Rolls and Fried Pork Wontons. All three were tasty appetizers and each came with flavorful dipping sauces.

From the wok we had Pad Thai Gai, Khalid Pad Gai (Chicken Fried Rice), and Gai Pad Med Mamuang (Chicken & Cashews). The portions were large enough to share. All the dishes had the right amount of heat and each had their own distinct flavors.

We also had a large Gaeng Massaumen Neua (Sweet Yellow Curry).

The restaurant has a comfortable bar area with plenty of selections.

This is definitely our #1 choice for Thai food in Louisville.

Diner Review №46

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here at All Thai'd up. I will definitely be back and bringing friends! The atmosphere was very romantic, low key, and felt like you were swept away to a cute village in Thailand. I just got back from Thailand a few months ago, and I can verify this place is very authentic. A family member who is from Thailand also just adored the food.

Diner Review №47

Food is AMAZING! Drunken Noodle is very spicy but VERY tasty!

Diner Review №51

Great food. Lovely chat with very nice owner. Highly recommend.

Diner Review №52

Wow, the food here is amazing. We had almost given up on finding good thai food in Louisville since moving here 2.5 years ago. But finally we have found the best in town.
Atmosphere is lovely, very cozy and intimate. Service was perfect. My family and I are from Thailand and all of the dishes were very authentic. We ordered: tod mun pla, the curry puff, tom yum (papaya salad), tom ka gai (soup), gai yang (grilled chicken), pad thai w/ chicken and shrimp, khao pad pu (crab fried rice), pla tod nam pla (fried fish), and laab moo (ground pork salad).
The standouts were the pad thai and fried rice. My mom was over-the-moon in love with the flavors 😍 and for me it’s the best I have had in six years. So delicious! The pad thai flavors were just perfect and not too sweet. The fried rice was the perfect balance of salty but not too much salt!
Prices were on par for the quality of the food, we were all VERY happy. You get what you pay for. We will definitely be back very soon.
I think my family will visit more often now that they know this is here 😊
Make a reservation if possible, they were quite busy.
Highly recommend!

Diner Review №53

First time ordering from their brick-and-mortar location. Immediately hesitant once we saw that the majority of the noodle dishes were priced at $19. I understand food costs are high, and that this is a relatively new location so we decided to bite the bullet and give them a shot!

Disappointed to say the least. We ordered two dishes, Drunken Noodles & Pad Thai. The thing that jumps at you right away is the portion size. Both dishes were less than half of the portion you'd receive at either Simply Thai or Bahn Thai & M. At almost $5 more per serving than their competitors, it feels like a kick in the teeth.

The Drunken Noodles were delicious flavor-wise, and hot enough to have my lips screaming for 30 minutes after, but the Pad Thai was dull, flavorless, and just plain sad. The tofu was lacking any kind of seasoning and felt pretty phoned in.

As a food service industry veteran, I just can't recommend this restaurant. The prices need to come down, and the portions need reevaluated. If all the other Thai restaurants can flourish while selling dishes at a $15 price point, they should be able too.

Diner Review №54

Shared a fried wonton for an appetizer, then I had the Tom Yum Goong with chicken, hot, and the basil chicken fried rice. It was all amazing, very authentic, and spiced the way you expect thai food when prepared properly. Service was top notch, and the delivery of the dishes was timed perfectly. Don't miss out on this place.

Diner Review №55

Never had a chance to eat at the food truck but when All Thai'd Up opened their restaurant near me, I was there.... and I keep coming back. Having been to Thailand numerous times, I have been on the search for authentic Thai food locally and *THIS* is where you want to be.

Diner Review №56

Best Thai in the ' ville period!

Diner Review №67

Don't waste your time.
All Thai up is All messed up!
Rice too wet and soggy,
Overpriced food,
Thai tea half sour, half not mix lacking in flavor or taste.
Customer service kinda lacking,
A disappointing experience.

Not the best Thai in Louisville

Diner Review №68

Diner Review №69

I am a long time Thai Food lover, a decent Chef, and travel a lot for work. This holds up with any thai food I have had in the US. Great addition to our side of town. I hope everyone get in here and keeps these guys going.

Diner Review №70

Visited here a few times and I've had food from their food truck, it's always enjoyable.

The traditional Thai heat is something you don't find with many Thai restaurants state-side, or at least in this area. Spicy not your thing? No problem, they can dial the heat down for many dishes!

The Kao Soi (seasonal dish) or the Drunken Noodles Chicken are among my favorites to get here. It never took too long for my food to arrive, and the house-cocktails are worth trying if you're into that sort of thing.

Diner Review №71

Outstanding all around, highly recommend!

Diner Review №72

Most excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Diner Review №73

Diner Review №74

I almost hate to tell you how good the food is here because if everyone knew, they’d be deluged with orders. Honestly, the best, most authentic Thai food in town. Not too sweet, not too spicy. Just perfect!

Diner Review №75

Great food and drinks and service.

Diner Review №76

So much fun to eat in the tiki hut! Server was terrific… and food was lovely

Diner Review №82

. I liked this newThai restaurant!
. The appetizer sampler was interesting and good, but personally, I liked the Spring Roll portion of it better than the other offerings. (Next time I'll just get the Spring Rolls.) Sauces were great.
. My salad with beef was delicious. Both the meat and the greens were marinated in a light vinaigrette sauce. Portion size was generous.
. The Thai Iced Tea is good but very very sweet, for my taste.
. I believe they'll be offering cocktails in the near future, but not yet.
. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant, tho rather dark. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Give this place a try!

After thoughts:
- I wish there were more small plates or half-size portions available.
- The Thai tea is tasty but very sweet. Maybe there could also be a variation of it that's less sweet, for American tastes.

Diner Review №83

Very nice server, flavorful food, good selection of Thai foods. The owner/chef greeted our table and told her background story. I would definitely recommend this place.

Diner Review №84

What a wonderful experience. My wife and I ordered the Pad Thai, Khao Pad (Egg Fried Rice), and Thai tea cheesecake. The flavors were beautifully and tastefully blended. Each tasting was "melt-in-your-mouth" delicious. The wait staff was caring and engaging. And the ambiance was romanticly private. Head Chef and Owner, Katherine Aphaivongs-Harrod, "Kate" for short, is a true entrepreneur, determined to provide the best experience and authentic Thai cuisine for her customers. This is a "must" for your dining pleasure.

Diner Review №85

After having the food at the downtown location and food truck, I was thrilled to see them open up on the east end. Last night we got take out. This isn't the overly sweet, Americanized Thai food we are used to here. You get bold flavors and real heat on dishes like drunken noodles and basil stir fry. They have a family -style grilled chicken dish that's flavorful without being spicy--my kids loved it. Looking forward to eating in soon--the restaurant looked nice.

Diner Review №86

Known the owner since she first brought her delicious Thai food to the streets of Louisville. I am such a huge fan of hers and the food NEVER disappoints. So happy to see her continuing her growth. The restaurant is lovely and has a great date vibe or if you just want to relax and enjoy good food and some drinks. I highly recommend going to this restaurant.

Diner Review №87

First time here and it was great! We had the basil stir fry and it was good but for us at least it was a little too salty but that didn't take away the great taste! The curry puff also was very great and we didn't expect it to taste that good! Very great place for thai!

Diner Review №88

Love the ambiance that the owner has put into this restaurant, and the grilled beef salad was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long!!! 10 stars!

Diner Review №89

Diner Review №90

Seems good

Diner Review №91

The tamarind wings are fire! Crispy, tangy, sweet and spicy. Curry Puff delicious, and green curry and rice very comforting. Took mine to go and it traveled well. Staff was friendly. My mocktail was tasty but even better with a spike of my own alcohol at home!

Diner Review №92

Diner Review №93

Authentic, made from scratch, and delicious! I lived in Thailand for 3 years, so I know authentic Thai food. Yum!

Diner Review №94

The Shrimp Pad Thai and Green Curry were awesome. Chef Kathy puts a lot time and energy into her recipes. We will be back!!

Diner Review №95

The food I had was wonderful. Servers worked with a smile on their faces. Atmosphere was Thai at its best.Plan to return soon.

Diner Review №96

The new location has great atmosphere and makes you want to sit and enjoy. I tasted several menu items and all were excellent - especially the laab and the mango rice! Servers were friendly and fast.

Diner Review №97

Diner Review №98

I absolutely love the food and have been a loyal fan of the food truck and when they had a downtown location. The owner takes her relationship with the customers very seriously and will attend to any problem or suggestion thoughtfully and with care. Seriously, if you love good Thai food, make your way out here. You won't be disappointed and the atmosphere is delightful and fun. Just a great place to take a date or your family or to simply pick up some takeout on the way home!

Diner Review №99

Hope they can improve the food quality. Service was good, but not great. Very limkted menu. Excellent location...so disappointed. We keep waiting for a good Thai place to open up in Louisville and we hoped this was it. Alas, it's worse than the ones which are already here.

Diner Review №100

Love the new location. Green Curry Chicken is my absolute favorite. Will definitely be back soon.
