I really love how filling the food was, you can even take some home if you can’t finish it, but I devoured it the moment I saw the plate. Highly recommended, I definitely plan to return!

Although I have heard a lot of good things about the restaurant, and the service and the staff were good, the food was underwhelming for the price. The spiciness level was great, however.

Consistently high quality food. They have a great lunch special, with discounted prices, and your meal comes with soup or salad and two crab rangoons. I went to lunch and asked if I could substitute my soup/salad option with more crab rangoons and they obliged, that is the kind of service you can expect. They will give you the spice level you ask for, so if it's your first time go with a more mild level of spice, they are happy to add more spice for you if you don't find it spicy enough. My favorites: beef pad thai with a spice level between medium +, and hot. Their Volcano soup is the best Tom Yum I've ever had, and I enjoy thai hot spice level with that dish. The soup is big enough for a meal, and I usually crave it so much I get takeout Volcano soup about once a week. You've been warned!

The food is delicious and the service is excellent. If you order it "Thai hot plus", you'll get what you asked for.

Beyond delicious!
Everything we ordered was AMAZING, the Tiger Cry Beef, Thai Noodle Soup, Curry, Peppered Steak, the spice level did NOT disappoint either, I love all things spicy and ooohh it was so yummy. The serving sizing were far bigger than I anticipated whichade it even more worth the price and gave my some yummy left overs for the next day.
We will definitely be returning.

We stopped in for lunch. They have a great lunch special that's not really advertised. They offer a main entree with either soup or salad and 2 crab rangoon. The service is always great here - very friendly and prompt. The food is always really good, and you can specify the level of heat in your dish. We got the panang curry and the massaman curry. Both were delicious!

Worst Thai food we've had in our lives. And we love Thai food and eat it every week. Just moved here from California. Have lived in 6 states and always loved thai food but this one was hands down the worst. Veg Thai fried rice, chicken Thai fried rice, pad Kee Mao. Inedibly bad.

I used like this place but this last weekend we just had a terrible experience with service. We was charged a group fee of 22$ for having a party of five and more, I could see if it was all adults but it was just 4 of us and our 1yr, I just thought it was a crappy way of getting more money. Food was decent but the sticky rice we ordered was old and nuked in the microwave.

First time trying it— ordered the crispy pork ribs and the garlic beef stir fry to go. Flavors were outstanding!! Spice level was perfect (make sure you understand Thai spice levels), the ribs were super crispy and delicious with the Sriracha sauce. The garlic beef looks/tastes like sliced ribeye with a hefty amount of garlic and spice. 10/10!!

The Mother in Law beef is my go to. I've never had a bad meal here. It's all good! It's a pretty small restaurant, but that makes for a cozy date spot.

I had never been to Thai Place off Santa Fe Drive before, and my friend treated me to lunch there on Sunday. It was marvelous!

I had the vegetable Pad Thai, and was really impressed with how FRESH all the vegetables were! They were obviously recently purchased (maybe even that morning), and stir-fried so they retained their crispness. There was a great variety, too: broccoli, onions, bok choy, spinach, and I'm sure a few others that I'm forgetting. The melding of flavors in the sauce was perfect, and the noodles were just al dente enough to keep their firmness alongside the vegetables. The portion size was just right, and at a very reasonable price.

The staff were all WONDERFUL! Everyone was very friendly, efficient, and worked to ensure that we were enjoying our meal. One of the servers even gave me a full glass of iced tea to go, when I left! I was especially touched by the care our main server gave us. I'm ashamed to say I forgot to ask her name, but she was the only one wearing a white shirt (everyone else was dressed in black), so she may have been the manager or owner. I recently injured my foot and was using a rolling walker and post-op boot, and she was very solicitous of my well-being. She ensured I was comfortable with the seating, and we chatted a bit about how I'd injured it (walking too fast on a wet surface), and she chuckled and said, "We have to slow down, sometimes!" She made me smile, and made my day. Thank you!

I am always on the hunt for spicy food and this restaurant did not disappoint! And they even bring you a platter of 4 more sauces if you ask for extra hot sauce. And the portions are huge. Fast and friendly staff. Very clean. Definitely recommend.

Although the atmosphere earned a modest 3-star rating due to initially untidy utensils, the staff promptly exchanged them, ensuring a pleasant dining experience overall.

Great food and great service! You’re greeted as soon as you walk in the door. The menu has many tasty options. The grapow is delicious, as is the pineapple rice. But the curry’s are fire! The red curry is my go to, but they all hit the spot. Go check them out.

This used to be my favorite spot for thai food. I ordered the chicken pad thai last night and was blown away by the drop on quality. My noodles were dry and overcooked, and there was little to no flavor in the sauce. It tasted like eating flavorless noodles with spice. I just cant order here again after that

Cry tiger- marinated grill beef with sour dipping sauce. Nothing too special about this. I excepted something more than just grill beef steak strip

Pad Thai shrimp- good dish. Not too sweet. What a Pad thai should be. Abundant of shrimp in this fish. Some of the noodles was a bit hard.

Tom yum soup- this is authentic Tom yum soup. Hit home with this one. Nice broth and seafood portion.

Pad see ew- nice dish and good portion. I like it. Not too dark or overpowering

Thai fried rice- standard dish. Good rice rice

I ordered hot and it was barely spicy at all. Food and flavor good, but not what anyone expected. There are much better Thai places in KC.

Place is a staple for me and my wife. Food is really good and definitely deserves a try if you go. Adding some spice really makes a huge difference in flavor. However, their heat levels can be pretty spicy so I would try mild if you don't usually eat spicy food.

The crab Rangoon and egg rolls are amazing at this place. The dumplings have to thick of an outside and are rubbery. The Thai tea used to be delicious every time but this time it was less sweet just tasted like tea. We usually order to go as of late but decided to go in. The glasses had lipstick and silverware was dirty and the plates felt grimy. Hopefully it was just an off day and the dishwasher improves. We love this place so sucks to feel like the quality is going down so much on food and cleanliness.

This is the best Thai restaurant in all of Kansas City! My favorite entrees are the yellow curry with shrimp and Pad Thai. The service is very good and the servers are very sweet. One of them gave me a gift! A small candle for mothers day! She came and placed in next to me on the table and smiled so sweetly! It's a great place and always has alot of customers.

Delicious!!!!!! We ordered a spicy ginger and Pad Thai for lunch. The pad Thai was good but too sweet and not much chicken; however, it was still very good. The spicy ginger was out of this world! Sooo good! We also tried the soft and crispy spring rolls. Very fresh and flavorful! The service was great too! They were very welcoming and available any time we needed anything. We will definitely come back!

This is our favorite Thai restaurant period. We keep trying others and nobody so far comes close. The phad thai is always my husband's favorite. This time I had the phad thai gaeng daeng which is like a red curry version. We've also had the tamarind stir fry dish, several currys, mushroom stir fry, and gra pow. The only part I would caution first timers on is that they are serious about their spice scale. Use caution going over medium until you try them, I would say their medium is like others hot.

I've been coming here 2006 and honestly this place just keeps getting better. Love their food!

I tried to get food togo tonight. It says it closes at 8 with togo orders ending at 8:30. I tried to call in an order at 7:45. No answer. Kept calling my entire way there. When I pulled into the parking lot at 7:58 the light were off, but I could see people walking around inside. You either have open and closing times or you don’t. I tried calling with plenty of time to pick my food up by 8. There were workers there cuz I saw them when I showed up before 8. Completely unprofessional.

I really liked everything about this restaurant. Food was great. Staff was nice and very attentive, and the atmosphere was really cool. I got the tiger cry beef for an appetizer and it was delicious and had a good spice to it. My main course was the pad sea eaw and it was also fantastic. Food came out nice and hot and the portions were good sized.

The most amazing pineapple fried rice with shrimp and chicken in the entire city! I also love their Pad Thai and Penang Curry. The Inn Restaurant seating is nice enough just not all that atmospheric because everyone has to walk through the tables to get to take out orders or even be seated. However that is certainly not a deterrent to going in my opinion.

My absolute favorite Thai restaurant in Kansas City. The eggrolls are always fresh, the Pineapple Thai Rice is simple but perfect and the Garlic Pepper Stir Fry is delicious. The service is great and it's lovely that they remember us whenever we come in.

In my opinion, this is the best Thai food around. We have never had bad service or food. I like that all of the staff work together to serve everyone.

One of the best traditional Thai food restaurants I've had. My wife and I will binge their curry and rice multiple weeks in a row. Great food, great service, and a fun place to eat. Occasional small mistakes with ordering to go but 5 stars nonetheless.

Definitely something different, service was good, atmosphere was good, I am not saying the food was not good. It was just very different for me & I think you have to have an enquired taste for that kind of meal to enjoy everything.

Best Thai I've had in town.

I had wanted to try this restaurant based on a few friends' recommendations so I was really excited to share the experience with my adult son. The food was yummy and you could pick how hot you wanted the seasoning: mild, medium, or hot. The mild was plenty spicy for me. The service was excellent. Staff was very nice and efficient. Atmosphere was basic, nothing out of the norm but the service and food were worth the trip.

I'm a hard critic, and this place was an easy all-around 5 stars!
