Thai Chili Cuisine in Lenexa is a hidden gem, located in a strip mall off 87th, but is well worth your dining! My wife and I eat here after church on most Sundays. Seating is quick, service is friendly and fast, and the food—authentically Thai—is absolutely delicious! The menu is extensive but not expensive. Highly recommend the crab rangoon appetizer (8 pieces), mango curry (when they have it, the mango is very fresh and favorable), cashew stir fry, and pineapple fried rice. This is wonderful food! And there are always fresh-cut flowers on each table. You won’t regret visiting this little restaurant!

Simply put, we just enjoyed the best Thai meal I've ever had. Located in Lenexa near 87th and Pflumm, this family owned and run Thai restaurant is amazing. The owners are gracious, the space itself is clean and cozy and they just doted over us.

Now to the cuisine...wow, just WOW!

It was a fundraiser night for Sunflower Elementary and I had been chomping at the bit to try this little place out for months.

We started out with shrimp spring rolls which came with a peanut sauce, pan fried pork dumplings with a chili sauce and the rainbow wings. The fresh made spring rolls were outstanding! The dumplings lived up to the hype that I've heard and those wings. OMG the rainbow wings. I don't say this lightly: best chicken wing I've ever had. The sauce is a recipe that the wife of this husband/wife duo came up with which pairs perfectly with the mango, onion, bell pepper and jalapeño that are served with those deliciously crunchy wings.

Main courses were pad kee mow with shrimp (drunken noodles), HUGE bowl of chicken pho and gaprow crispy pork belly. I loved the heat of the gaprow pork belly and so packed with flavor 😋. Like before with the rainbow wings, this pho was outstanding and unlike anything else I've found I. KC. Lynda's drunken noodles was also delicious and jam packed with shrimp.

Rounded out the supper with sticky mango rice and crispy banana rolls.

My husband ordered the pork belly gaprow and I had the pork Tom yum noodle soup. I can't wait to go back. They've been open for a year this November 2024 and are tucked back in the corner of a small strip mall in Lenexa. Give this place a try. They claim to have authentic Thai street food items you can't find anywhere else in the city. They also have a few menu items that rotate out each month.

This is my new favorite Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. It’s so close to where I live and where I work, all within Lenexa.

But even if you live further away, you should still come here for the food. They don’t just have Pad Thai, fried rice and curries, they have all sorts of stuff you normally can’t find, and every single dish is just delicious: boat noodles, Tom Yum noodle soup, Red Curry Custard with Seafood(Homok Talay), Crispy Rice Salad, and even Pink Noodle Soup (Yen Ta Fo) which I will definitely try. What’s even amazing is that for all the rice noodle soups I have had, they always manage to cook the rice noodles just perfectly so that they a slight chew as if they were wheat noodles. I recommend ordering from the front side of the menu where all the specialties of this place are.

The portion size was huge for the price, and you get a rangoon and soup as well.

The Crisp Pork Belly Grapow is fire. I ordered it hot in spice. The flavor profile is different then what I’ve had in’s the past. It’s a thicker sauce that just explodes on your tongue. The pork belly was cooked to perfection, and the crisp added a whole new dimension to the dish. I highly recommend this place and dish. I’ll be back soon to try another couple more dishes. A must stop for any Thai enthusiast!

Went here for Valentine's Day with my wife for the first time and exceeded all my expectations. The food was the best Thai I have had in the area and the portions were generous! Will certainly be coming back.

Very nice and sweet Thai food restaurant! We randomly checked in after my son swimming class. The chicken noodle soup is so rich and flavorful. The pho Thai is delicious. The appetizer Tiger cry beef is yummy! Highly recommended!

I’m usually a pad Thai fan, but first visit I tried their avocado green curry and y’all, I AM HOOKED. I’ve been back twice more in the last 6 weeks and crave it in between.

Wow simply the best I've ever tried! From the soup to sautéed and grilled options, everything tastes amazingly well done, service is fast and kind, don't hesitate to go and try!! 5 stars for sure

I think this will be our new Thai place! Every year for my bday we try a new place and this was my pick. Owners are nice and conversive. Food was excellent, fresh and hot! Wife and kids got the sampler appetizer which they all liked. I got the Thai basil wings which were phenomenal, I’ll go back just for those. My curry was wonderful. Wife enjoyed her food as did our Littles. One teen ordered a pho and he liked it a lot. I personally prefer Ramen type noodles over the noodles, but he enjoyed it. My only complaint would be to watch your dish. lol. He wasn’t done eating, and when we both looked away to look at something, the waitress took his bowl, so that was a bummer.

Well....what can I say....the food here is excellent and the people are pleasant. The service is top notch and the atmosphere (for Kansas) is appropriate. Tiger Cry Beef is great. The Spicy Green Bean stir fry is the best, enjoyed the peppercorns! Pad thai mmmm. We shall return!!!

I stumbled upon this place the other day, when I was in the area, and starving. It was almost 2pm, but they were open, so very friendly. I ordered the spicy edamame, and green curry. Both were amazing!! There was an extensive menu, but they also had a long list of specials. I will be making this my "go to" restaurant for Thai food!

I stopped in today for the first time. Ordered a papaya salad and crab rangoon. I haven't been able to find a papaya salad this good since we went to Thailand. I've tried several different places, but this was a better salad than the others. Great service and everyone was friendly. Will be back ; )

I order pickup typically but my food is always great. I love the spring rolls, panang and pho.

I order from Thai Chili about 2-3 a month because it is so close to where I live and as a dairy-free person, Thai is extra safe for me! I used to frequent another 'place' down the street, but since having Thai Chili, that other 'place' truly pales in comparison! Thai Chili surpasses their level of flavor by a mile, in my opinion.
Thai Chili's spring rolls are so much better and I love that they provide you with both a peanut sauce and the sweeter, more liquid-y sauce for them.
The drunken noodles with shrimp or chicken are my go-to and I have never had any complaints about it, nor been disappointed when I arrived home. The noodles are always still piping hot when I get home, too. I also love the way their drunken noodles are loaded with veggies, much more than the average when I compare to other Thai places.

Will be coming back! Restaurant owner kind and very personable. Introduced myself and my bf to the different spices and how to customize our experience based on our flavor preferences. I’m definitely trying everything on the menu. The pad Thai was really good. A happy medium of flavor and spice.

We love Thai food and were thrilled to find this little gem in Lenexa. We had the chicken pho and it was delicious! Hubby had the gaprow crispy pork belly and it was tasty. We also had the meatball appetizer, wasn’t impressed with that. We will definitely go back and try some other dishes.

I normally pick up an order to go, that you can easily place online. But the staff is always super friendly and polite. The food is always delicious, especially the Thai ice tea which is a must have with any spicy dish. They have never one messed my order up, and always made sure to include utensils. Great place to pick up lunch, that will make everyone else wish they had ordered from there! And I am sure a lovely place to sit down and eat too.

We were blown away by how good this food was, definitely some of the best authentic Thai in the Kansas City area! Hopefully this can be a regular spot for us because I would love to eat here regularly.

Since my first visit, my husband and I have been eating here weekly. We absolutely love their food. I have gotten the Panang Curry, Pad Kee Mow, Pad See Eaw, Mango Curry (a special dish), Crispy Egg Rolls, Fresh Spring Rolls, and Cashew Chicken. All of their dishes are wonderful, it is truly hard for me to decide which to order. I usually have leftovers of my noodle dishes so I get two meals out of the order as well.

The restaurant is very clean and the staff is super friendly. I gave the atmosphere 3/5 stars because I do think the decor could be upgraded so it matches the outstanding quality of their food. I am in the design business, so I admit I am biased and believe in the "power of design".

The pad Thai was perfectly sauced and portioned for lunch! I ate the whole thing. The service was extremely fast. I was able to get in and out in 25 minutes during peak lunch. Might be my new favorite spot for pad Thai.

Delightful Thai restaurant with wonderful service and incredible food. Best crab rangoons I've had in a long time, main reason I will be dining here again! If you're not a fan of spice, got with low. Medium spice was a bit much for me, but I'm also still kinda amateur when it comes to spice. Stir fry is amazing and so many other things on the menu that I can't wait to try!

Had a wonderful Valentine's Day meal with my girlfriend here. The crab ragoon was fantastic and the owner informed us that they use real crab which was awesome to hear. Definitely some of the best I've had. All the food was stellar and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend checking them out!

Really nice to have an authentic Thai restaurant in Lenexa right off of 87th street. Their lunch specials are priced very well and they include 1 crab Rangoon and a bowl of soup with your entree. I ended up going with the chicken pad Thai and it was delicious. I will definitely be coming back.

Edit 2: I’ve been back here multiple times since my original post and have loved every entree I’ve had. My favorites at the moment are their Ka Na crispy pork and their drunken noodles.

We ordered a carry out and wanted to support a local new Thai restaurant in KC area. Thai salad (Somtum) was too sour than it was supposed to be from too much tamarind sauce. We will try to dine in again soon.

Horrible establishment selling stuff saying its vegan. We confirmed not once but 4 times asking if its vegan and they said yes. Ordered again today and different waiter and he said sorry its not vegan. I checked with owner and she is the one who is not trusting. Stay away from them

Spicy, variety, and hotness this place does not disappoint. Ambiance was clean and the food tasted refreshing. Deliver time and service excellent. Highlight of it all were the condiments. So, I have been here several times. Once I had carry out, the other time I dined in. The food is excellent, the service however is lack-luster. The first time I dined in, the restaurant was not busy yet the waitress was not very promp/responsive. I went there earlier today (Noonish) and the service was horrible. Tables were getting their food orders "piece-mailed" together while others were waiting to get their orders taken. I waited for over 15 minutes for my server..... crickets, do I left. The owner stated he can wash dishes but cannot take orders. They really need two waitresses, an additional cook and the runner to accomodate lunch crowds. If you are an owner, you need to be well versed in "All" aspects of your business. I will give them another busy lunch time visit in the coming weeks to see if there is any improvement.

I usually always get pad thai when I go to Thai Restaurants. Decided to try something new this time! I got the Khao Soi with Braised Beef. It was flavorful, so good! Definitely coming back! Everything was great!

Only slight problem we ran into is that they close from 3-4pm and reopen at 5pm. We weren’t aware of that. We were there about 20 min before closing but they still served us.

Tried this new Thai restaurant. When we arrived the restaurant was full. All the dishes were a bit too sweet for my liking. I know Asian American food tends to be sweeter, but this was a bit too much. The noodle texture was point on though. I ordered Beef Pho, for those expecting a clear broth Vietnamese style, you may want to try another place. The egg rolls were tasty. The Boat Noodles had a lot of liver and the flavors were a lot stronger than the beef Pho. The Gapow Crispy Pork belly had a good texture but the sauce was too sweet. I know the restaurant just opened so to be expected that they are still working out systems for service. I never criticize service as taste for food is above all else, but wanted to give some constructive feedback. Hope the restaurant does well.

Food was really good, very authentic. We had basil wings, papaya salad, boat noodles and crab fried rice. They all were really tasty. Boat noddles were a little salty but still good. Wait time is a little longer due to only 1 waiter and 1 waitress work there.

Best new Thai restaurant in town!!! On the weekends, they offer not your Thai restaurant “run of the mill” dishes. No fancy plating but the food is most authentic, simply delish and quite satisfying. I have found a new place for my comfort foods I grew up eating. Joy!!!

Was immediately seated for a party of two, water glasses were poured and the staff never bothered talking to us again for half an hour. The lone waitress started taking the order of the table who was most recently seated, before at least 4 other tables that were seated before that. This was the last straw for me. We immediately left.

This place is tucked away in a little strip mall in Lenexa. The space is on the smaller side so plan accordingly for prime meal times.

On to the good stuff... The food! We had their pan fried dumplings and Yum Nam Khao Tod for appetizers. Both were flavorful, the Nam Khao had a ton of meat mixed in with the crispy rice, and it was a large portion! The dumplings were fried well and tasty!

For our main course we had the Boat Noodle Soup and Ka Na Crispy Pork Belly. Highly recommend either dish depending on what you're in the mood for. The soup was packed full of meat, with a rich broth and a good portion of noodles. The Ka Na was loaded with crispy pork belly and greens that were coated in a delicious, garlicky sauce.

The food here is amazing. We had a massaman curry with pork and the crispy shrimp rolls with sweet chili sauce. This reminded me of when I was in Thailand. The servers were running as fast as they could, but surprisingly they could use even more staff on a Wednesday evening. This is a brand new restaurant so the decor is obviously just beginning, but that didn't change how delicious the food was. I will definitely come back again.

Our family ordered the steak & shrimp pad thai, ginger stir fry and chicken egg rolls! Service was great and the food was delicious! We will be back for more.

This is such an awesome place on food and and the service. The owner is super friendly and all of her dishes was soo good! If you want to eat real Thai food come here and give it a try!

A new Thai restaurant that is awesome! I've been to Thailand numerous times and my wife is Thai. We both agree that we will be back. Tonight we had the Gaprow crispy bork belly, yum woon sen salad (glass noodle salad) and the special of the day- pork leg with rice, the sauce for this is amazing.
