I loved everything about my experience here. Curries are made without fish sauce and can be made vegan with tofu and veggies. Pad Thai can be made gluten free and tastes bright and like tamarind. Service was excellent and attentive once we were seated.

My wife and I have tried many Thai restataunts since moving to Indy and Manee has quickly become one of our favorites. The food is DELICIOUS!! High quality ingredients and healthy portions at a very fair price.
They recently reopened from remodeling the entire restaraunt and did a great job. It has a warm inviting feel with wine racks, hard wood floors and golden ceiling tiles. The ambiance is also very pleasant with relaxing jazz style music playing in the background. Its a great place to eat and have a relaxing conversation. Also ,the owner has been there each time we go and she is very friendly and kind. I would highly recommend you give them a try.

I love Thai food and this is my first time trying this place and I’m overly impressed! You would never guess how luxurious this tiny restaurant turns out to be on the inside. The decor adds a cute little touch to make your experience even more enjoyable. The food was more than amazing and if you love spicy food this is the place to come! My mom and I got both Sweet Thai Iced Teas and fell in love with the flavors and colors. This is the best place to come get Thai food in Indy and the staff is amazing!

Best Thai food I have had in Indianapolis or ANYWHERE. I had the Paradise Shrimp and the Thai spring rolls. Paradise Shrimp comes in a yellow curry sauce. Manee Thai has remodeled within the past couple of years and is beautiful inside.

We sampled several dishes, all were as described. The favorite was the President Fried Rice and the Shrimp Drunken Noodles.

The Shrimp Yellow Curry was a bit light on the protein and the Pineapple Fried Rice (a Thai fav of mine) was smothered in yellow curry...which isn't typical of the dish in my experience.

For being an 8 p.m. Thai food for delivery in Indianapolis, I think they deserve five stars!

Horrible service. You can do better. We ere regulars and walked in at 825 pm. The Greek restaurant was closed next door. The server was accusing me of calling earlier and saying I would be there 8. I told him it wasn’t me. He repeated himself aggressively as if I had done something wrong. He was so rude we left. I have spent thousands of dollars at this restaurant. I won’t be back. Horrible and embarrassing experience.

Manee Thai Cuisine is a definitely visit if you are in the area and up for Thai food. I have more than 7 favorite dishes and couldn't nail down to just one dish. Very good Thai cuisine and friendly staff. The place is clean and very clean restrooms

i always loved this place especially before the remodel, the food was just exceptional. now it’s always a hit or miss. i usually bring my friends and family here and i always order the same thing and sometimes it’s the best the i’ve ever had other times it’s such a let down. I had a lot of hope for this place

I preferred the ginger chicken and requested rice and didn’t realize a I had steam rice until I got back to work. They’re a bit pricey for lunch $16 with a pop.

Preserved take out today-Yellow Curry with Chicken- It was awful!! The potatoes were half cooked, chicken tasted freezer burnt, there was no flavor and it was so watery even the rice didn’t thicken it. I couldn’t even eat it. Never going back!

Delicious Thai food in a beautiful atmosphere. We enjoyed the pad see ew and massaman curry. It was also a treat to have the kao sow noodle curry dish that we loved when we were in Chiang Mai. Will definitely return!

My wife picked up an order I placed. She watched as a staff member held the door open for another customer, yet didn’t continue to hold it for her. RUDE! Then, we open the boxes and this pitiful amount of rice was included. Won’t be returning anytime soon!

My "shrimp" lo mein only had 2 shrimp, yet still cost $14. I also ordered shrimp pad thai which was $17, and they gave me chicken. Hahaha. Was also the worst thai I think I've ever had - super greasy and flavorless. I ordered from here because my usual place was closed, will never do that again.

Service was slow especially with the restraunt being near empty. Food came out cold. It was seasoned but still room temperature. Problem is not with the kitchen but the front staff. They need training and to be on the floor.

I was really looking forward to trying this place. When I looked up the menu online, they all looked very tantalizing. I walked in and was very impressed with the decor...the gold accents, mood lighting, wood, etc. There weren't many people in the restaurant, which was surprising since all the surrounding restaurants were packed. After my experience there, I definitely understand why.
Once I entered, I waited quite a while to be acknowledged. Two people came in after me and despite standing right in front of the greeter, he chose to take care of their needs first. This is an immediate turn-off. Since I was meeting a friend for dinner, it was too late to change plans. Once I was finally acknowledged, the greeter/server waived his hand flippantly and told me to sit anywhere without making eye contact or anything.
I sat near the door to see if anyone else was treated this way. I noticed that people who had a similar "appearance" as myself were not treated with the same level of customer service as those with a different "appearance." This was very disappointing. If you are going to open a restaurant in a diverse area, you need to give EVERYONE the same level of service. The food was decent, but the customer service made the overall experience very disappointing. I won't be recommending this place to my family, friends, or clients. It's 2023...practically 2024. DO BETTER!

Wife and I agree the President Fried Rice is just about the best we have ever had. It was so good in fact that I will not even knock off a star for the tail on shrimp.

This choice was a very last minute choice for the evening meal. My Hubbi was driving from the Eastside @6pm-ish to our hm on the far Nside of Indy. I wanted us to eat something great together is what I told him. He didn't want to eat, so l took it as an opportunity to take that as a greenlight to induge in Chinese food. Not very often do l eat a pint of fried rice anymore because it's not my spouse's taste @ all. As l began to search the net for places "near me" as we're heading hm, of the 3 given only 1 was feasible when we reached the place they were closed(it's now 6:45pm).
I then decided to give up the idea of some rice, w/huge veggies, spice but not too hot, & something fried like an egg roll w/veggies & go the route of gyro, the spot was Greek near us in 86th st. But my Hubbi still wasn't hungry & not at all disappointing to me because there was Manee right next door to the Greek restaurant as if it were glowing and there were no Christmas lights outside.
The deck was so quaint and decked out yet when we went on the inside oh my goodness it was a whole new world and it smelled delicious. While my hubbi was in the restroom I decided to take my time looking at the menu to decide on whatever delicatessens I was going to choose. I ended up being super impressed & delighted w/ the pan fried fish cakes & mild Curry though they were a little bit greasy as I had read one other reviewer mentioned I personally took some paper towels what's I made it home because the order was for take out and it took about 20 minutes...l dabbed off the excess oil. The dipping sauce was amazing ,oh don't get me started on my basil chicken fried rice the green beans seemed to be sauteed in the basil w/every bite & man mercy YWHW felt like He is living inside of my meal. I will definitely be back & definitely recommend for a later in the evening amazing meal that will definitely give you a party in your mouth as well!

My drunken noodles were barely coated... They were plain and the crab ragoon dough was crunchy on the edges..and almost raw around the filling. I set down for 3 mins and my food was brought out. I said that can't be mine.. But it was! First and last visit!!

A brilliant visit. The staff is exceedingly kind, the food was outstanding, and the establishment was clean and welcoming. I can easily say this was the best Thai cooking I've had in the greater Indy area.

I love this place! Stopped over for a quick lunch while in the area for work. The ambiance is relaxing! The food is delicious and the servings are plenty. They have jazz music on which was pleasant to the ears. The service was excellent! I ordered Thai fried rice with chicken and shrimp, sticky rice with custard for dessert. Manee has been closed for renovation and New Management. The new design is stunning!! The food superb!!!!! The food is so good - I could not stop eating. I ate everything , and I mean everything!!!! Curry, Spring rolls, plum wine and more. I think I rolled out of the joint.

Great service, duck basil is like pulled duck and not like it used to be.
Tom yum soup was mostly onions but the only thing that was salvageable. The sticky rice could do without the white buttery sauce; this dessert also came with a small thin piece of flan.

Ordered delivery through Uber Eats the other day and didn’t have a good experience, unfortunately. Out of 3 items, we only got 2 in the bag and one of those 2 items was very spicy despite my requesting the lowest/non-spicy option.

Hands down the best Thai food I have had in the Indianapolis area yet. Just finished a lovely Christmas dinner with quick and polite staff. The place was pretty busy but their staff handled the take away orders and dine in guests with ease. A small bowl Tom Kha soup with rice was a great starter. The Veggie Drunken Noodles was amazing. 10 out of 10! We will definitely eat here again! Should have taken beginning photos, but here are my left overs. Portions are generous and price is fair.

I am in town visiting family and decided to try Manee. We were all extremely pleased. Tempura was perfect, and I had the best Mongolian ever! Everyone else said the same about their dish, but I can’t remember what they had with that Mongolian still in my thoughts. Highly recommend!

I discovered this place on a recent visit to Indy - it was just what the doctor ordered for my Thai fix. The gyoza, "President's Fried Rice," "Fried Cracker with Chicken," and the Thai tea were all tasty!

My first time here and I had a wonderful lunch. Okay- why only three stars - because I was given a menu without the lunch specials. Apparently you have to know and ask and that’s not right

Little pricey but worth the extra few dollars. The quality and taste of the food is top notch 👍🏽

They have very good service and a good menu selection. Their lemongrass soup is very good. A compliment to the chef. I plan to return with my family and eat in.
I work outside a lot in the summer time. That being said, lemongrass soup help keeps the mosquitoes, chiggers and ticks away.
Every 2 to 3 weeks, I will stop in to a Thai Cafe and order lemongrass soup.
If you are going to go camping or be in the woods, you might want to try and eat some lemongrass soup before you go. Here is a picture of my wife's sister who got over 500 to 600 chigger bites being at a camp, when she was a teenager.

Boy was she miserable!

If you like, you can count them, just in this one picture there is 50+ chigger bite, what about the rest of her body.

I ordered in person for takeout the order came to me very hot and still very hot by the time I got home.

*Red Curry with pork (but it came with chicken instead)
*Yellow Curry with chicken
*Soft spring rolls with shrimp and some kind of dipping sauce not peanut sauce
:Each of the Currys were very flavorful with crisp vegetables, chicken was overdone and the curry sauce was a tad broken.
: Spring rolls consisted of sliced shrimp and stuffed with way too much shredded iceberg lettuce I don't think there were any other vegetables in it would have been better had there been peanut sauce as option not what I was expecting for a spring roll which was rather disappointing.

The President Fried Rice is very good.

I got the Kao Soy the first time, red curry the second, and Tom Kha the third. 10/10 would recommend everything but especially the kao soy. Papaya salad is AMAZING. I’ve only known about this place for about 3 months and Thai food is my favorite and this place is my favorite. Super authentic and fresh and never disappoints

Just got an UberEats order and I was really happy with everything. And that the level 4 spicy was actually spicy. I had to grab a tissue. Everything seemed fresh and properly cooked and packaged. I need to try some more of the menu.

The food is very delicious. I did have a problem with the preparation. I asked for it to be a level 2 of spicy. I didn't get any spiciness at all. The waitress apologized, but didn't offer to correct it. Probably because I ate some of it. I will definitely eat there again, making sure to remind them of how I want my food. Tried two of their lunch specials- chicken pad thai and shrump pad see you. The entire shrimp entree had four pieces of shrimp (despite an upcharge for shrimp). The chicken dish was also pretty tasteless, but we didn't get any spice in it.
