Casual. Thai Comfort Food.
“Baan” means home in Thai, and we want our restaurant to feel like you are in our home where we serve our favorite, authentic Thai recipes passed down from my grandmother to my mother, to me. Our menu consists of many dishes from my family’s home town in Udon Thani or Issan, a region located in Northeast Thailand. Our food has many dishes that one may find in Laos, as well. Along with other popular Thai dishes, here are some of our Chef’s Favorite Creations: (Khao Soi) Chicken Drumsticks Curry w/ Noodles, Issan Thai Sausage & Sticky Rice (Sai Krok), Crispy Rice Salad (Nam Kao Tod), Thai Fried Chicken, and our Crispy Pork Belly & Char Sui dish. (Moo Krob Moo Dang). Fan Favorite? Our Crab Rangoon Dip!
This HIDDEN GEM in Wamnamaker is Amazing!! I had the orange Chicken which comes with rice, spring roll and a soup that has a bit of a kick. Their Sweet and sour sauce served with the spring roll was so Incredible that I wanted extra to take home. The Sweet and Sour sauce for should be bottled for stores. If you want real Thai food make the trip. The service is exceptional!! Presentation is above and beyond. Make this your new dining experience especially on Saturdays for their Buffet straight from the kitchen not your normal buffet
My first time going here, but will definitely come back here. Might be my new favorite place in Indy. Really nice atmosphere. Plenty of parking space in the back. Not really big space more like family restaurants with delicious food. Bigger portions with reasonable price. There was only one customer service, but we get everything we need and still get fast service.
We were here again last week and blown away like every other time. We had Thai Fried Chicken , pineapple fried rice, crispy pork belly, and the Crying Tiger Steak. Every bite is fresh, bright and often unexpected. Service is also stellar. This has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants.
This is our favorite Thai place. The service is always friendly and the food is always excellent. We've been several times and everything we've ordered has been outstanding. The employees are always friendly and welcoming. We've dined in and ordered take out. The food is always fresh and full of flavor. It's a regular of ours now!
My teenage son and I absolutely love your place!! We have been in several times! We have enjoyed the Crab Rangoon Dip, Baan Dumplings, Pineapple Fried Rice, Chicken Nut Stir-Fry, and the Orange Chicken. All so yummy! You cant beat the great service and fair prices! Well done!!
Make a reservation to check it out!
The pineapple fried rice and crab Rangoon dip are delicious. I ordered spicy basil fried rice, and it was pretty good as well. We had excellent service. It's a very clean, inviting modern space. The bathrooms were clean and it was easy to park and get in. There's a parking lot and a ramp in the back.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. While the seating inside is limited, we didn't wait long. The service was incredible, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was unmatched. I ordered the orange chicken, which was prepared to my liking, always a plus. Our server was knowledgeable and eager to assist. Despite being busy with a small staff, they managed to keep everything orderly and timely. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience in the area.
Frequently order carry out and get the cashew chicken stir fry with fried rice and it’s always delicious. Definitely recommend.
Baan Thai Bistro is my go-to when I want great Thai food close to home. I’ve had their spring rolls, crab rangoon dip, and Pad Thai Woon Sen with shrimp, and everything has been so good. The flavors are fresh, the portions are just right. If you’re in the area and craving Thai, this place is a must-try!
I am modifying my previous review- thank you very much for responding. I really appreciate your comments and wish you all well going forward.
A hidden gem. Quaint converted house. Very good food. Only negative would be the drinks

One of our favorite spots, have to try the crab dip, and chicken fried rice bowl. Big fan of the ramen as well.
Mixed experience. We had a group of 5, and waited about 40 minutes to be seated, not unexpected for not having a reservation on a Saturday night. However, the food service was very slow. We waited at 45 minutes for appetizers to arrive.
Food was pretty good overall, with a few exceptions. The Thai iced tea was not as described on the menu and too sweet for my taste, and I found the presentation of the fried chicken bowl (pictured) rather uninspiring. Pho (though not Thai) was standard, and the other appetizers and desserts were pretty good. Would come back based on the prices, which were reasonable for the food.
Edit: giving them an extra star for educating me about pho/boat noodle soup 😉
Oh my gosh!!!! So good! I am the type of person who sticks to stuff I know. But I was hanging out with someone and they suggest this place. I think this will become a regular spot when I have the budget for it. It tasted fresh and good and the portion sizes are quite generous.
Food delicious, service fantastic,
Owner of the restaurant she is so smart and very nice and I love food and customer service definitely recommend everyone go there
.
Everything is great , Lovely restaurant .
The accuracy of the taste just like I had it in Thailand , Moo ping is a must.
I got a little confused when I got the bill there is no space to add the tip , then my husband told me , there is , at the counter 😥
I will come back for sure
We go frequently and are never disappointed!! Our daughter just moved to Texas and she was excited to go back to Baan since they haven't found anywhere in Texas as good as Baan!!
The best Thai place in Indy - hands down. Plus, they take reservations. Just a warning - don't ignore the red chili pepper on the menu. This food is actually spicy (not a negative, just letting everyone know). The pork belly dish is incredible! Good cocktails too.
Be sure to get a reservation. This place is really something special. Food is excellent. Venue is very cozy. Spice levels are adjustable. But the hot is nice and hot for spice lovers. Staff does a really good job!
Cozy little place in the heart of Wanamaker. Food was pretty good but didn't try anything spicy.
Medium is fire! 2nd time here and won't be the last. Medium is much hotter than most other thai restaurants..beware. The restaurant seating area is small is only downside.
I love Baan Thai Bistro. It is always clean and cozy. The food is wonderful and the service is very kind. I appreciate that the waitress was able to explain and answer my questions about the food. I brought some friends here and everyone loved it and we even decided to get a loyalty punch card because we knew we'd be back soon.
Have been a few times and each time the food is always delicious. Staff are very friendly and service is great.
The bees on the deck were a bit overwhelming...They have companies that can pretty much eliminate bugs for outdoor diners...Food is Fantastic!
This is our favorite Thai place. The service is always friendly and the food is always excellent. We've been several times and everything we've ordered has been outstanding. The employees are always friendly and welcoming. We've dined in and ordered take out. The food is always fresh and full of flavor. It's a regular of ours now!
This was some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Really spectacular. We had the crab Rangoon dip, the pork satay, Thai fried chicken and rice bowl and yellow curry. It was all really great. We will be back soon! So much good stuff on the menu we want to try and the price was reasonable the service was really nice and the atmosphere was welcoming and warm and clean. They’re doing an amazing job
Our family lives in Chicago and then also in Los Angeles. This is hands-down the best Thai food I’ve ever had in my life. I wish this place was closer to us.
Bravo to the chef just incredible !
Began craving Baan over the weekend. Went to vote on Tuesday and decided I had waited long enough. The lunch portions were perfect! Soup, spring roll, orange chicken, pineapple fried rice (from dinner menu) were sheer perfection. Baan is delicious every time!
I always get the tofu red curry, thai hot! I want to try other things but I just can’t go wrong with the curry. I’m so thankful for this absolute gem that came to Wanamaker. The staff is pleasant and always warm and welcoming. I have yet to encounter a bad experience, they’re always on point!! I think I might come in later today to get some more curry… yum yum!!!!!!!!!!
What a great place. Loved everything we ordered.
The flavor of the food is amazing, the staff are very friendly and the environment is inviting and cozy.
Very beautiful, the hostess/server was very nice, the restaurant was decorated very elegantly, has a really welcoming atmosphere.
Absolutely loved the whole experience!!!! I loved the restaurant’s, decorations inside and out, it was decorated just beautifully!! The staff and owner were kind, knowledgeable , and welcoming. The prices were great!! I have always been a big fan of Thai cuisine. The portions of food were a lot larger compared to other Thai food restaurants, we have ate at. I ordered the summer rolls, crab rangoon dip, and pad Thai , and had enough left over for lunch the next day. We were very well attended to by our server. Our food was served fresh, hot, and delicious!!!! To sum up the whole experience I felt like I was in Thai food heaven!!!!!! We will for sure be returning again soon!!!!
I’ve spent significant time in Thailand (Phuket, Bangkok, Railay and Chiang Mai) and we really enjoyed our meal here! Good food and a cute restaurant ambiance.
Everything about this place is amazing! So happy to have this restaurant in our backyard in Wanamaker. Tried 2 entrees, 2 apps, and soup (Thom Yum soup was a favorite and already can't wait to try it again).
The service is great, the staff feels like family, and the owner and kitchen staff were hard at work making incredible food. I was impressed that the menu was very well priced, an added bonus.
Thank you for being a part of our great community! Can't wait to go back!!
This was the best Asian restaurant I have ever been to in my life! I recommend it to anyone that loves Asian food.
Sooooo good!
We always love Baan. We did a to go order for lunch, and everything tasted great! The one thing I've learned - ASAP for carryout shows 45 minutes, and it's usually more like 25 minutes. Crab Rangoon dip, pork belly ramen, sticky rice and mango. All fantastic! We will continue to return.
This is the best genuine Thai Food i’ve ever had. the servers are all so sweet. service was excellent and fast. food was hot and cooked and seasoned thoroughly! 10/10 recommend :)
The atmosphere was very nice. It's a bit small, but does it's job. The server was friendly and helpful. The pineapple fried rice and shrimp were so good, very flavorful. The crab rangoon dip was really good. The spring rolls were normal spring rolls. The Thai iced tea was really good. The fried bananas and coconut ice cream were amazing! The elephant ear to me tasted a little under cooked, so it was just okay. The fried chicken and rice bowl were absolutely amazing, and the flavor was so good!
Went here with a group of ladies from church. It was my first time here and my mom's first time having Thai food.
The food was good, as was the service. There were a couple of things that should have been mentioned before ordering (like there is an upcharge for fried rice as opposed to jasmine rice), but that did not detract from how good the food was.
My only complaint would be the size of the location, but we were a larger party, so they adjusted and accommodated our large party.
I will definitely be going back.
This is my new favorite restaurant!
The flavors of the dishes are just out of this world. I had the pad Thai and it was hands down the best pad Thai I’ve ever had.
My husband had a curry that was also some of the best. We started with the crab dip, and ended with the fried bananas and coconut ice cream… all of our food was DYNAMITE!!!
The service was fast and friendly! The atmosphere was so beautiful and calming !! I just can’t say enough good things! I can’t wait to go again! (:
I had several friends recommend this place.....To be honest I thought Wanamaker would not have a quality restaurant. The pizza places are great, but better dining??? This was EXCELLENT!! The restaurant was designed well. I am an interior designer and they did great things with this space. The food had great presentation and was EXCELLENT!! The prices were reasonable and the staff were great! I would recommend this place to everyone..
Oh and lunch is basically the same price as dinner...and it is still reasonable. We also got an appetizer, so that makes the price per person higher.
My wife and I were craving some Thai for dinner but wanted to try something new. The flavor was excellent my wife had the beef green curry and she was delighted. I had the beef drunken noodles. The flavor was the best drunken noodles I've had in indiana. The service was great and friendly. Will definitely come back.
Best thai food in indianapolis
We had a take out order here. The food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!
Awesome food, atmosphere and service! A great experience!
I've been to Baan Thai three times now (lunch) and it has remained consistently excellent. The decor is simply breathtaking; the service is excellent--friendly and prompt. And the food is Absolutely Superb. I have a Cambodian relative, and I thought I would never taste spring rolls any better than those she makes--well, I was wrong! I could gladly eat a plate of nothing but their spring rolls! I want to note that the staff is very amenable to specific requests; for instance, the dish a friend ordered came with a fried egg atop it, and she asked to have it without that addition. There was absolutely no problem with her request. This is now one of my absolute favorite restaurants!!
Our favorite spot. We love all the appetizers and have tried almost everything on the menu. Be ready to walk in and feel like family.
I have tried almost everything on the menu! Haven’t found anything that I don’t like! Food is AMAZING! Service is top notch! If you haven’t visited this place what have you been doing!
Nothing better than FANTASTIC food and service at a family owned small business. Absolutely phenomenal. It doesn’t get any better.
Even though the rain had stopped, they refused to let us sit outside because the cushions were wet, and they didn’t want to place them on the chairs. We even said we were fine without cushions, but they prioritized their power trip over customer service. Poor business acumen.
This is a quaint restaurant with somehow a nice atmosphere on a major roadway. The staff was awesome. The food was somewhat expensive. However, it was great. I had the Baan Dumplings and Pad Thai with chicken. Recommend the mango Thai Bubble tea as well! *The price listed is for two.* Would go back again.
The best Thai restaurant!!! Everything is so great
Baan Thai Bistro is truly a hidden gem in Wanamaker!! I enjoyed lunch in the restaurant with the option to sit outside If I wanted. The restaurant is clean, well maintained and organized with a great atmosphere! Service was with a smile and she was helpful regarding menu items. I ordered the red curry and a spring roll. This is the best Thai dish I have ever eaten in Indianapolis! The flavor, spice and portion size was amazing and right on! Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. I'm surprised there was not a line forming to get in the door :) There is plenty of parking options out back as well as stairs to enter and a ramp for those with different mobility needs. Amazing place! Looking forward to the next time!
Food was excellent and the dining room was beautifully decorated. Wait staff was pleasant and helpful. Ordered fried tofu, spring rolls, drunken noodle, and two types of curry. Everything tasted excellent and the portion size was enough for leftovers or sharing a plate. Just a little on the pricey side, but happy to pay it and leave a generous tip for the experience.
I enjoy coming here for lunch and dinner. I like the pork satay, mango sticky rice, and Thai tapioca pudding. I liked the tiger eye steak but it was too cooked for my liking. The flavors were great though.
I like my boat noodles really spicy but the Thai hot wasn’t cutting it. I asked for some flaky pepper and some fish sauce. They weren’t able to give me any fish sauce, but they did give me flaky pepper. I also once ordered the wrong meat and asked if I could get the other meat on the side and they were able to accommodate me. I always make sure to tip nicely as they provide great service and care about your needs.
This is one of the first Thai places I’ve found myself coming back to.
Very good, i had the drunken noodles and that was the first time I've ever had something that delicious I'd highly recommend it
Whoever left a review under five stars is wrong.
Our group of 4 ended up here after a last-minute change in plans. We didn’t have a reservation, but the staff didn’t seem too troubled and got us seated promptly.
Chicken wing appetizer was delicious. (We had honey garlic sriracha.) Everyone in our party was very pleased with their selections, among which were: thom ka soup, steamed dumplings, Yaai’s fried rice (from the specials), drunken noodles, and kao soi.
The desserts all sounded amazing, but we were so stuffed that we hadn’t the room. Some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back next time I find myself in Indianapolis!
Super cute, friendly, and clean environment. Very quality ingredients. Best food I’ve had at a Thai restaurant! Highly recommend.
Top Tier. If you're looking for authentic Thai food then this is the place to visit. The food is just amazing reminds me of the food my grandmother used to make. Definitely a comforting feeling being able to get such delicious Thai food so close to home. I always bring my family here. 12/10
This is the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The appetizers and entrees were hot, fresh, and delicious. Food came out fast and service was attentive. If you like Thai food this place is a can’t miss.
I had never heard of this place till today. Wow it's my new favorite place for Thai.
I had the Pork Belly Ramen 3 out of 5 spice (asked for more chilis due to it not having enough kick). The lemongrass soup was outstanding. The spring roll was also great. Totally recommend this place! Clean. Comfy and friendly.
This restaurant is one of my absolute favorites!
Came in on Wednesday night Staff 10/10 And the food was delicious!! Best Restaurant in Indy in my opinion ! Also the decorations are beautiful!
I crave this food daily since I’ve tried it once!! This atmosphere is beautiful and the staff is so family like and wonderful and service is always great! Thank you all so much! The chefs are phenomenal!!!!
Absolutely disgusting. So you respond to my review after you changed the hours to "closed." Google said you were open and hours may vary. I called and your voicemail says you can place an order online. So that's what I did. Now, why would I be able to place an order if you're close? Since you're clearly working to some capacity today since you updated your hours and responding rudely to my first review, then I suggest you refund ALL of my money immediately. And if I have to call to get a refund or show up because you decide to continue to be rude I'll leave another review after disputing the charges and opening an investigation with my credit card company AAAAAND after I file a complaint with the better business bureau. Some folks just shouldn't me be in consumer service. Perhaps that might just be you. Looking forwarding to speaking to the owner.
My first thoughts "no way a Thai restaurant in wanamaker is going to be good" holly hell was I wrong. This place is amazing! Best Thai food I have ever had. The dumplings was great. The green curry was great. And the Thai tea was perfect. You can tell this family takes time and puts in the effort to make sure the quality of food matches the prices. Truely a hidden gem. The atmosphere was nice and clean and outdoor patio option was a nice touch. Well done guys!
The food so good ,, i love it
A nice local place with great thai food - we'll be back for sure!
I'm far from a Thai food aficionado, I'd definitely like to be a bit more versed in it. And as of late, I've been trying to decrease my meat consumption so I thought Baan Thai would be a great place to start, especially considering I've read so many terrific reviews.
I'm thankful to say that those reviews were on point! The better half and I arrived as they opened. We were seated quickly as we were the first ones to arrive. I wanted to try all the things I've never tried, but I chickened out and ordered safe - the Baan Dumplings - fried, and the Pad Thai with tofu. The better half ordered the Sticky Chicken Wings - honey garlic and the Thai Fried Chicken and Rice Bowl. Needless to say, the dishes did not disappoint!
The soup and spring roll that come out prior to your entree are amazing - that soup - wow, really delicious!! The dumplings were good, though a couple were still a bit frozen in the middle, but the flavors were. I do know now that I totally should have ordered them steamed! The pad thai, despite the fact that I can and have made this at home, was delicious!! I really love all the flavors that thai food offers!
I had a bite of the better half's rice, there's absolutely NO question as to why it's a best seller! So, so good!! The chicken wings were good, though I thought they were a bit undercooked. I'm particular when it comes to wings. There are fine lines between under and over cooked and too much and too little sauce, so I tend to not order them out. But, still the flavors were still there, sauce was very good and skin was crispy!
The location isn't ideal, but they've made it workable with some nice parking out back. When we were there, a delivery truck came, parked to unload and really made a mess of things. I'd definitely make sure, if you come when it's busy, to have some patience when parking. The service was very good, our server explained their best sellers and was helpful when asked questions. The atmosphere was relaxing, restaurant seemed very clean and music was top notch. Love when the music matches the vibe of the restaurant - definitey a plus! The restaurant's interior has limited seating and it's cozy, but not overly so.
All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to return and I would absolutely recommend it to those who are looking for fresh, flavorful thai food!
Service: 5/5, Quality: 4/5, Value: 3/5
Vegan Options: 4/5
Overall: Delicious and appreciate the staff is able to make a lot of options vegan
Longer version:
Service-- We've always had positive experiences here with attentive and friendly staff.
Quality-- We've had quite a few dishes and each of them have been quite good and flavorful.
Value-- Prices are average, and portion sizes are average too. I don't leave hungry but I do feel like portion sizes are smaller than other Thai restaurants for what you pay.
Vegan Options-- The staff has always been pretty knowledgeable about their vegan options and we've had a selection of things to choose from. Our most recent trip had a special of the day that was vegan as well which was really neat to see and try!
The food was delicous! The atmosphere was also great! Had the thai fried chicken and basil fried rice, the chicken was super crispy 🤯 highly reccomend
It was the most beautiful day to try a new place and I’m glad I came along this place. Customer service was good from the start and every person around me was in a good mood eating and talking with each other. I decided to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. The Sriracha wings I ordered were good, the firecracker shrimp was decent, I also ordered some dumplings and they were good! Next time I will order more stuff off the Entrees and soups. Can’t wait to come back with friends!
Been here twice, service and food were excellent each time; I recommend the thai fried chicken & basil fried rice
This is one of the best places to eat in Indiana/Indianapolis. It is a small family owned business and all the recipes come from the grandmother. Since moving out of jersey I've struggled finding places to eat that could compare. When coming on a weekend you need to be prepared to wait, it is very small but they really do put all their heart and soul into it. amazing customer service as well. my family and I will order from here at least once maybe twice a week. highly recommend trying their thai fried chicken and rice
We just walked out of this quaint and friendly Thai restaurant. We are visiting from the upper midwest. Our waitress was so charming and great at her job. And...the food was so good! We highly recommend this restaurant.
Love, love , love the style of this little restaurant. The food is much prettier in-house but It's very small inside, so if it doesn't suit you, just get it to go you won't be disappointed. Everything we've tried has been great, especially the Thai Fried chicken with basil rice and the Thom Yum soup. If you love Thai or if you've been looking for a place, I highly reccomend stopping by Baan Thai Bistro.
Thom Yum (veg/ med. heat) was amazing!
Summer Rolls were crispy and superb!
Spicy Basil Fied Rice (Kao Pad bi Krapow) (protein/chicken/ med. heat), a huge portion ( 2 meals) was so delicious and clean tasting.
The staff are so nice and accommodating.
They are always busy with good reason - great atmosphere, great staff, outstanding food!!! TRIFECTA!
The food is delicious! Service is awesome! Small location. Great to take home. The containers they use keep you fried food crisp.
5/6, arrived around 11:20 am, place was fairly empty, seated right away and ordered around 11:25. About 15 minutes later a couple was seated next to us and ordered. About 10 minutes later they received their soup. We received ours a few minutes later. The couple next to us received their meals, finished and left and we weren't served yet. At 12:44 I went up to ask what was happening with our meals. I was told there was a big party that came in and overwhelmed the kitchen. I mentioned that we we ordered before that party arrived. I was then told it was what I ordered, it takes a long time to cook the noodles. That big party had already received their meals. Then at 12:50 we received our meals.
Now I understand when problems happen, However to make different excuses. Then blame it on me for what I ordered, that's ridiculous.
Food was good but not exceptional.
Sorry, tried it. I'm done
Great food
Love me so Thai!!!
Wonderful food. Wonderful atmosphere. Wonderful service.
Can’t believe I did not know about this place sooner, as it’s only five minutes away. You would drive right past it if you were not looking but the food is great! We love and recommend the crab rangoon dip.
What a great neighborhood restaurant. Beautiful place with outdoor seating. Waitress was very friendly. Standard Thai dishes along with some unique options. I had chicken pad Thai along with veggie thom yum soup. Spice level is 1-5, I ordered 3 and thought it was good. The soup broth was flavorful and delicious. Lots of veggies in the soup - I loved the mushrooms but didn't care for the tofu. The pad Thai wasn't the best I've had as far as flavor, but the quality was definitely one of the best. Everything cooked perfectly, great attention to detail. The lime helped as it did need a shot of acid or salt. All in all I definitely recommend this place and hope to visit again.
I had the orange chicken, very good! And not bad price wise. Keep your eyes open when you get there, you might miss it. I did.
No complaints. Great dining experience!!!
Food and service were fantastic. Only downside is it's a small place and you can hear everyone but it's the best thai food I've had in IN! Lunch portions are considerable and you'll leave with your belly full :)
The food was okay but the orange chicken had too much breading on the outside and it took away from the chicken and orange flavor, the fried rice was good though. but our mango boba tea was very overpowering and lacked any other flavor, it only tasted like mango nectar. It tasted like we were drinking pure mango nectar and the boba was very undercooked and a bad texture. I will say though, the restaurant itself was very pleasant and so were the waiters, who were understanding and kind, and the decor was beautiful. Along with that the fried rice tasted satisfactory. All in all the place has great potential.
My absolute favorite Thai restaurant. The pad Thai is absolutely phenomenal. Service is very fast. I love the small town vibes. Got there a couple minutes before close without knowing, got us food super quickly. Phenomenal.
The best Thai food. Period.
Great addition to Wanamaker area for food esp since it's not fast food. Haven't had a bad dish here. Today had Rangoon dip & cashew stir fry. Both were excellent. Waitress friendly & knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable.
I love Thai Cuisine and this restaurant checked all my boxes! Everything was phenomenal and I highly suggest the Crab Rangoon Dip!
Thai comfort food. What else do you need to know? The food is delicious- fresh, crisp, and herbaceous. Their “hangover cure” rice porridge and crispy rice salad are my favorites. Both have surprisingly complex flavors that have become my new craving!
Food was delicious. Atmosphere was peaceful. Was absolutely hounded to give a tip by the server. Asking every second through the payment process to make sure I gave her a tip. I ended up not giving a tip because of this. I won’t recommend anyone I know to this place, hounding customers for a tip is never okay!
Moved to Wanamaker last November and we have eaten here easily 7 times or more. Or NEVER disappoints. We always get the take out and the food is so flavorful and amazing. Highly recommend!
WE WENT BACK SOMETIME LATER AND WERE PLEASANTLY PLEASED....WE HAVE GONE BACK MANY TIMES SINCE.....OH BY THE WAY THE CAPS ARE BECAUSE OF EYE ISSUES,,,
WE WERE THERE FOR 45 MINUTES AND NEVER RECEIVED OUR APPETIZER, IT WAS AT THAT TIME WE WERE AGAIN TOLD IT WOULD BE COMING SOON....WE LEFT AND WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE TO EAT. Have went and very satisfied have gone many times since
Perfect place to meet up with with old friends and enjoy great food a great atmosphere and great staff!!
Most amazing Thai food I’ve ever had. I’ve had lots of items on their menu and nothing disappoints. Only negative is that the space is small and sometimes it’s hard to get a table but that’s also a testament to how good it is.
Great food, in a super cool little spot. We have eaten there and done carry-out several times. We are never disappointed with the food or the service. The thom yum soup is the best I have ever had and I have had it in quite a few Thai restaurants. Also when you order hot it is actually, seriously hot. From drinking cocktails on their patio in the fall to eating a well packaged curry in my kitchen, this restaurant is a winner.
Beautifully renovated home into restaurant! Exceptionally good service and above all the food was fantastic!
Baan Thai is delicious food that you will crave! There is something on the menu for every type of diet. What a great addition to the town of Wanamaker!
Really good food, great customer service, answer questions with no problem, perfect portion sizes, will come again.
Great food and service! We will definitely be back!
The food is so fresh and delicious! One of the best Thai places I’ve had and I’ve tried quite a few! The restaurant itself is clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is friendly and attentive. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
The food and the service was great! Although it was pretty chilly and the dining room because we had to wear our jackets while eating.
A great authentic Thai food place in a cute little house turned into a restaurant. Very relaxed and casual. Service was okay but food makes up for it! We got drunken noodles and Pad thai which were amazing! Green curry starts at medium spice level and it was SPICY but so good!! We would definitely be back!
Cozy environment, food was fantastic. Enjoyed the steamed tilapia and steak lettus wraps. Shared some spring rolls chicken wings and dumplings. Nice heat to the dishes. Highly recommend. We will be back soon.
Done in or take away, it's delicious. Make a reservation. It's worth it!
Have now dined here three different times. Every time has been just fabulous. The food is so good, the service excellent and the establishment is a very cute and well thought out design..
Quiet place with delicious food. Great lunch spot, will go back soon for dinner!
Very good pad thai! Nice atmosphere.
Delicious, and looking forward to having many of the dishes on their menu.
Great food! The drunken noodles are delicious! The building is small but it is a nice change from big places and the staff is super nice.
Too legit to quit. I love this place.
Ordered take out for the first time and it definitely will not be the last. This place is delicious! The food is super fresh, tasty, and the portions are nice sized. Ordered the Thai Chicken Rice Bowl and the Boat Noodle soup, fantastic! Glad to have found this place in Wanamaker and look forward to dining in sometime soon.
Update: Have ordered take out every week now and this place delivers some delicious food! Pad Thai is one of the best I have ever eaten!
Great atmosphere and delicious food
Excellent food and service. I recommend a reservation as the restaurant is all inside.
Huge portions, delicious plate options, reasonable prices. The mango sticky rice was an incredible way to end our meal and all of our entrees were so good!
First time here will be back.
Great food and service. Will absolutely be back and bring others with me.
Great food
It’s a great small restaurant. The food was amazing. Best Thai since we live in Philadelphia, NJ and NYC. We had the green Curry, crab Rangoon dip and chicken Satay. So the spice level is real Thai spice level. Medium is hot in most places. I like spicy and it was perfect. I can’t imagine hot spicy their Thai spice level is. The food presentation is good.
It’s very clean. They do have an outdoor area for eating(but not for winter). They have 8 tables/booths. I will definitely come back!!!
Parking in behind the building
This fantastic little restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is amazing and full of flavor. They have a large menu with options to suit a wide variety of people. The service is wonderful. They were kind and accommodating. 10 out of 10 highly recommended.
This place slaps. 10/10
Food is always fresh and delicious! I love the PadTai! Soo very good. And you have to get the Spring Rolls, fresh and perfectly crunchy! Love this place.
Excellent food and service
Wonderful food! Best thai we have had in Indy!
Fantastic little restaurant! Staff is very good and helpful. We have been here twice and have had different things each time. We have decided that we are going to eat our way through the menu it is so good.
Ordered takeout online and was ready within 30 minutes and the guy at the front was very nice! The spring rolls are okay, sauce wasn’t my favorite. The drunken noodles are great! Medium is a true medium spice so if you like spicy go higher. I was disappointed by the side of fried rice - it was only rice and egg, no veggies at all. Overall a very cute space!
We did just apps and loves the wings and spring rolls. Excellent service. Clean and friendly
Wow this is an amazing place ! Don't miss out on some great food. The tastes of the food will keep toy coming back as well as the service. The young man who waited on us was so polite and informative about the dishes that we didn't know about.
We will be back.
1st time we ordered take out. The dining room was packed! Have been trying Thai food for a change. It was all delicious! The Drunken noodles were medium spice, we will try hot next time. The basil flavor was perfect. Spring Rolls were crispy and tasty with the sweet chili sauce. Chicken satay with peanut sauce was good, but glad it was separately cooked so we could moderate the flavor. We will definitely visit again and be more adventurous.
