I thoroughly enjoyed my shrimp fried rice, crab Rangoon and ginger tea! Best in town! I think I favor Thai in this area over Chinese food. Thai has a darker rice where the other places serve a tasteless yellow rice. Very clean flavor here. And it's beautiful inside, whether you're catching up with friends and want nice scenery for pics or a cute place with great food for date night.
Food is very good, friendly and personable staff, and a comforting greenery decorated atmosphere. Love the sweet flavor of the Thai coffee and tea. Mango sticky rice taste amazing, such a sweet and soft mango they ripen themselves. Good calamari, soups, salads, tasty peanut sauce, and everything you get taste great. Happy to come here and always leave pleased.
First time at Thai Garden. The food was excellent, the staff friendly, and the service was quick and accurate. It's a small restaurant and therefore "cozy". A larger group might be tight here. It's decorated nicely. They have lunch specials during the week. I dined with friends on a Saturday, so it was the full price menu.
The food and staff at Garden Thai are amazing. The food is delicious and they always spoil and treat our 3-year old with lots of love, so much so that it is her favorite restaurant. We appreciate it!
Waiter was very helpful and patient (first time here). Even remembered my food allergy when I ordered, but forgot to specify). Also very helpful when it came to food allergies which is rare these days. Service was excellent and portions were huge. Too many options, so will definitely go back!!
It wasn't exactly a bad experience but tremendously over priced. Wasn't impressed with the way th duck was cooked or presented in the meal. It was busy. Maybe I just tried the wrong meal?

Wonderful food in a comfortable environment! Definitely try the spicy basil fried rice!
We were just visiting the area on happenstance moment. We saw the Thai Garden Restaurant and decided to try it as we love Thai food.
The restaurant’s ambience was tastefully done.
The people waiting on us were very courteous, respectful, and obviously have been in the restaurant business for sometime.
The food was outstanding! While we ordered off of the lunch menu, there’s no doubt in my mind that the entrées would have been just as delicious.
My sister had sweet-and-sour chicken, Pad Priew Wann, and she couldn’t have asked for anything better. My mother had drunken noodles, or Pad Kee Mao. She loved it! My wife had ginger lovers with chicken, Pad Khing. She only ate half of hers. I finished it up for dinner tonight. I had Tiger Garlic and Pepper with pork, Pad Kratiem. It was outstanding.
We shared Thai dumplings as our appetizer, absolutely magnificent.
The price was very reasonable. We’ve eaten at other Thai and Vietnamese restaurants where the prices were much higher, and neither was the food nor service nearly as good. And most of those higher price places, you wait for at least an hour before you get served with your food. That was not the case here.
Food is usually phenomenal. However, it’s easy to spend $70 and not get what you order. Not sure I would go back after it happening 3 times.
This place was packed for lunch. One of the best places for Pad Thai. Wonderful staff, gorgeous decor, and the pricing is very reasonable!
I like this place a lot. Try their pad Thai.
Amazing food, friendly staff, quick service
Excellent service! Shrimp Fried Rice was delicious and plentiful to share. Bamboo pork and stir fry vegetables was fantastic! Crab Rangoon... out of this world: the amount of filling was delicious!
Some of the best Thai and the workers are very hands on and very friendly. New favorite restaurant for me and my family 🥰
Absolutely amazing! Small private restaurant with big taste!
I love their Yellow Curry and Sweet Thai Tee, The staff are so Nice and Friendly. I will definitely recommend it.
The Good: The food
The Bad: The service. (See amendment below)
Let's start with the bad. There is a short-haired, middle-aged woman there who often works the register, takes orders, and serves. Unfortunately, she really has no business working at the front of the restaurant. She isn't particularly personable. At my most recent visit, I asked repeatedly for extra napkins. She wouldn't respond until I stood up and flagged her down, only to discover she had earbuds on. She played loud Youtube clips on her phone, amidst an otherwise very peaceful ambience, and when I said thank you/goodbye to her, her response was 'Yeah.' There is another younger woman who also takes orders, who is much more personable and professional. I have a feeling that the older woman may own/run the restaurant.
8/24 Amendment: the service has greatly improved since my initial review. This restaurant is wholly worthy of 5 stars now.
That said, the good greatly outweighs the bad. This is the best Thai restaurant in the roughly within the ~25 mile radius that I've sampled. I usually order things at medium, and the spice level probably could be pushed a little harder, but the flavors are spot on, and the food quality is outstanding. Can't lose with their Pad Thai, which features enough fresh, crisp veggies to offset the soft noodles. Their curries are awesome- the spicy green curry is a real winner. Good rice, brown or white, and the appetizers are very, very good (salad rolls and Golden Tofu are killer).
Prices are on the high side for Thai food. Expect to pay about $50-60 plus tip for a meal to feed 2-3 comfortably. Considering the quality of food you're getting, I believe its worth it.
I don't like to be overly critical of- or put down- a local, family-run business, and I always tip more than appropriately, but I do wish they would make their service better. It would easily knock my rating up to 5 stars. As it stands, a solid 4 stars is deserved.
Nice looking place, great food, quick service, and friendly staff!
The food here is fantastic. Will be eating here again!!!
The best Thai dinner ever. Try the fish cakes. They will not disappoint.
The most exceptional Thai food in the area! Transcend yourself into the best dinner experience! Highly recommend the orange chicken!
Very tasty.
They are accepting orders online but they are closed. That's totally scamming customers
I go here whenever I’m in town. The papaya salad and Thai cashew with tofu are very good!
One of my favorite restaurant
First time dining at this place and I loved the atmosphere and the food. Reasonable prices and big portions. Service was great too!
The food was amazing, background music was nice but the hostess was watching videos on her phone with volume so loud it was distracting and somewhat overstimulating with the music playing at the same time, hard to conversate and relax at the table
I love the pad Thai here! I love it when the pad Thai is saucy and not dry. Even if you have leftovers, and then you heat it up, it's still super yummy and saucy. Portions are huge and prices are reasonable. The chicken satay is delicious as well. Tom yum and Tom kha is refreshing and warming to the soul.
All around great experience.
The food, service and atmosphere was disappointing. Portions were good, but vegetables were not cut into bite sized portions. One shouldnt have to fight to put cooked vegetables into one's mouth. The 70's jazzy music overhead was too loud, and only played intermittantly. We only had one waiter for the whole dining room and carry out orders as well, which slowed things down a bit. He was very pleasant, but could have used a hand. So overall, not a bad meal, just could have been better with some tweeks.
The website doesn’t allow you to order tofu in lieu of other proteins so I have yet to try this place. Anyone who doesn’t want chicken, seafood, etc. is in the same boat. They are missing out on a lot of potential customers…
Very beautiful inside fast service nice waiters and amazing food
I love the decor. It's very cozy. The food is good and really cheap for lunch.
We ordered online, 2 orders of curry. They literally put our rice in open plastic ziplock bags that weren’t even zipped, before placing the half filled bags in the box. The rice didn’t even fill half the box. I paid $44 dollars for curry and half filled containers of rice. Seriously disappointed. Super sketchy place.
The food was fantastic. The best I've had in years. The location is convenient once you know where it is. Finding it was a bit difficult at first, but well worth the small effort. I'll be back!
This was a very clean restaurant with a great atmosphere. They had nice ambient Christmas music playing. This may have been the best curry I've had! The server was polite and efficient.
Food is so good. Our go to when my wife wants green curry. I love Tom Yom soup. This place does it right.
Love the food and the cozy atmosphere!
Let me just say how yummy this was! I ordered the drunken noodles and the Thai basil fried rice, both with chicken. Yum!! Spice level was hot. But man was this tasty! It had so much flavor. The portion size was huge with a ton of veggie toppings. Everything was super fresh and hot. I ordered take out and it was a quick pick up. Also ordered Thai tea but it was so good that I finished before taking a picture.
The restaurant inside is so beautiful. Though I did take out. If I’m in the area again, I’ll certainly be dinning in. It was cute and quiet when I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon!
lied about wait
We loved this quaint little restaurant. It seats around 30 total. Adam did an amazing job bouncing around and serving everyone and taking orders by memory. The food came out quickly.
The massaman curry was excellent; I ordered extra rice. The papaya salad was light, tangy, and refreshing. The kids enjoyed the glass noddle soup that has some similarities to ramen.
It's a must visit!!
Can't order pad thai with tofu online without meat and they don't allow special instructions to request no chicken. Just going to order our Thai elsewhere I guess.
Food was unbelievably good
Loved our visit here! We tried the Silver Noodle Soup, which was light but very flavorful, and the Pad Kee Mao with chicken, which tasted amazing! Highly recommend both dishes, especially the Pad Kee Mao. The service was excellent and the place has a very nice atmosphere!
Nice little Thai restaurant. Great food, came out fast. Medium spicy was perfect, about what you can expect from any Thai restaurant. Sometimes you have to be careful, lol. I will definitely be back.
Delicious with fantastic flavor and fresh ingredients
Excellent on every thing. Had seven meals & all were great!!
Highly recommend
Rude and dismissive upon entry. Place was crawling with health department & they were not
Permitted to cool 6/20/23
Great Thai
Would be nice if you updated holiday hours..
My new favorite Thai restaurant in Hamilton county. Authentic Thai food and owned. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing as I enjoyed my lunch special. Portion was plentiful and food was full of flavor. I can eat here everyday.
Delicious, authentic, cost-effective, and great customer service. One of my favourites in Indy!!
The food was good, vibes were good, service was good, everything was good. Overall pleasant experience.
Excellent! Enjoyed it very much
Authentic small spot known for their Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao (both excellent) and run by a very pleasant Thai woman that trained for 5yrs in Thailand with top restaurants.
Waiter was very helpful and patient (first time here). Even remembered my food allergy when I ordered, but forgot to specify). Also very helpful when it came to food allergies which is rare these days. Service was excellent and portions were huge. Too many options, so will definitely go back!!
Really cool place. Really good food.
This business closes at 9AM but I called at 8:45 to place an order and they said their kitchen was closed!
Then CHANGE YOUR HOURS!
Bad service!
Told us they had no room for us (we had a baby) then proceeded to seat a party of four who walked in as we were leaving.
Absolutely delicious! Best Thai we’ve ever had. The drunken noodles and the massaman curry are our favorites! Great value as well.
Wonderful service and experience.
Update: Still live this Thai restaurant. Its the best Thai in Fishers in my opinion.
Delicious Thai food! The lunch special is a great deal. The soup that is included is so good. I have had the drunken noodle, massuman curry, pad thai, and orange chicken. They are all great!
Having moved here recently from NJ, I needed to find a new Thai restaurant. And found one I did! Delicious, good value for the portion size, and in some ways better than my old haunt in NJ, in other ways equally good. The decor is also really neat.
I had Thai Dumplings, Chicken Penang Curry, Steamed Vegetables, and Sweet Thai Iced Tea. Photos follow.
The restroom (men’s labeled, a separate woman’s labeled is near) was equally on par. Clean, with a changing table should you have a child with a diaper. Photos follow. (Note: The seat was up when I walked in. So no arguing over up or down. It’s also the men’s room)
Come, dine, enjoy.
One of the very few authentic Thai restaurants out here. So good, perfectly seasoned and cooked. Wonderful staff and very clean and nice restaurant.
The food was delicious and service was wonderful!
We ate at the Thai Garden for the first time last night. It was wonderful. The food was great. I had not eaten Thai food in 30 years … after eating there I feel like I’ve just settled for Chinese and this is a whole new level … this is going to be a new “go to” at the top of our list. Nice setting and a lot of good choices.
This is the BEST Thai restaurant we have ever visited. The food is fresh and delicious with the perfect choice of spiciness. The atmosphere and service was delightful. Definitely worth trying!
Nice and fresh food. Portion size is very good. We are vegetarian family of eight. Loved their ambiance and servers happy faces.
I love Thai food, and at Thai Garden the taste is great and the waiters are nice
Always good. Ingredients are high quality and you can taste it too!
Great, delicious Thai food. Good service, nice atmosphere in this small restaurant. I'll keep coming back!
We normally have a fine experience but today we had terrible service. The server did not understand any English and when we ordered the same dish, the server repeated back what we ordered. I got my food and finished eating before we noticed my wife did not get any food for twenty minutes and we figured she messed up order. By that time we had to leave. They just gave a sarcastic sorry and didn't offer to make it right or anything. We left with her hungry and upset.
Oh my goodness! This food was so yummy and quick to be served! The place is adorable inside and I can’t wait to go back and eat there again.
I had to take a moment and explain that this was the last time that I will frequent your establishment. I have had the worse experience ever! First upon arriving I waited for a good 7 min just for someone to speak with me. I swear I have tried with this restaurant because the food is amazing! My daughter literally loves it, but the service is terrible. I have called and placed orders and been told when I arrive it’s not even there, I have waited on service over and over when doing either online or in person. No apology, compensation, nothing. I had to wait an additional 25-35 min. Again no apology, no attempt at good customer service. Just absolutely disappointing.
I see people in the restaurant just waiting, some clearly frustrated. Perhaps short staffed? I always see just one person working the door and server. I get it if they are but no apologies for the wait, no I am sorry for the delay, nothing!! Their only saving grace with me is the the fact that they have such good Thai food. They used to be so amazing from a customer service standpoint that I would even recommend them to my hotel guest, but no I can’t anymore. There is a need to do better. I frequent this restaurant quite a lot and it just keeps getting worse. I just don’t know anymore. It’s really very frustrating!
This is my first time coming here and I’m very disappointed in the food and service. We ordered fried rice but it smelled fishy so we asked them if it was cooked in fish oil but they said no. We asked them to make it again because we’re vegetarian but the second time it still tasted fishy. As a Muslim, I don’t trust their restaurant because they could be cooking their food in the same pan as meat and pork. I also noticed that they had a sign at their cashier saying that tips are required if they package your food for to go. So after we left the restaurant, the cashier came up to our car as we were leaving and said that tips are obligated and we must give at least 20%. She also said that that’s the only way their servers and chefs get payed which is through tips.
One of the worst services that I’ve seen in my life! Being vegetarian, vegan, they literally made the fried rice and fish oil and then decided to fix it, but it still tastes like fish because they did not get that I don’t eat fish. I wouldn’t recommend coming here and eating food because you don’t know what they’re cooking your food in especially if you have dietary restrictions! Then they had the audacity to come up to us in our car after we left the restaurant and as we were about to back up, the lady made us tip extra on purpose. Tips are not obligated in USA. She stated that the chefs are paid based on tip only and not salary. Sketchy place! Be careful.
Very, Very good food! The service is unbeatable!! And the atmosphere is great. Highly recommend.
I eat this place all the time. I love their food!
Great quality food and super chill people. what is there not to love ?
Very gorgeous interior! Lunch options is huge portions. Delicious food. Definitely will be back
Thai Garden is decorated beautifully and the decor gives it a tranquil vibe. The spring rolls were cooked perfectly crisp and light. It was probably the best spring roll I have ever had. The spring roll salad was less impressive and came with 2 sauces, one looked like a glob of peanut butter. This recipe could use a bit of rework. Our main courses were tasty but not outstanding. The tofu was cut into chunks that were too large to properly soak up flavor. My Thai iced tea was extremely bitter and didn't have the right balance of sweetness to temper it.
My husband would give it a 3.5.
My daughter would give it a 5.
I don’t know if they changed ownership or cooks recently but the Pad Thai was very subpar today. It lacked its usual taste. It had a very watered down flavor with no peanuts at all. I probably will not return again.
I basically never write reviews, but this place convinced me. Out of the almost 30 Thai places I've tried in Austin Tx, this place is on the top shelf.
We loved the atmosphere of the dining area. It was very clean and well decorated, with calming music playing. Service was friendly and quick. It might be something small, but I loved that the drinks are all served in glass. Great Thai iced tea! We loved the spicy basil and fried rice. Just a really lovely experience overall.
Great food, for a change of pace.
Wonderful food and very friendly
Very good AUTHENTIC Thai. Almost as good as my Thai sister makes. (That's saying something) wish I could give an extra 6th star.
So disappointed in the portion size
I was left hungry. I wanted Thai eggplant. I got ordinary eggplant sliced and too little of it. If you get a choice of rice say neither.
Wonton app = chicken tartare
We usually DoorDash at Thai Garden and food is great. Tonight we decided to dine in. Ordered the wonton appetizer which was described as having ground chicken in the center of a crispy wonton shell. I took a bite and while the outside was warm, the center was very cold. I looked and saw a large single chunk of raw chicken in the center. My husband had the same in his. No apologies from waitstaff when I politely told them what we found and sent it away. No $$ off our meal. I’m still completely grossed out. Won’t be back.
Polite staff, authentic Thai food, well prepared and served. Quiet, comfortable, and meticulously clean.
Very good!!!!
Great food, young man that was my waiter was wonderful. 5 stars 🌟!
Service was horrible! I walked in asking for a table for 7. 1 hour before closing and they said we close in 1 hour and refused us service. 🧐
Ordered an unavailable item and wasn’t told until picking up the other 3 meals. Everyone had to wait while food got cold for a 4th meal to be substituted. Should have been told on the phone when ordering!! Would not recommend.
Food was tasty quantity was very less its was not enough for even one person.
Consistently flavorful, cute date night ambience, teazers slap. Mango curry and fried rice are amazing
I first experienced Thai Food in Muncie, fell in love on the spot. Went so much that I tried everything on the menu MINUS curry "this" curry "that" just not my thing. Since living there, I have never found a Pad Thai dish that just send me over the moon since Muncie, I was disappointed. Driving down 146th and Olio Road I noticed Thai Garden, hmmm, I pulled over, read reviews, peeped the menu, saw LUNCH SPECIAL under $10 saaaaaay whaaaaaaaaaaat!? It was lunch time so I made a quick detour and Thai Garden it was. We were immediately greeted and seated by a lovely young lady. The lunch special came with a salad, a spring roll, soup and a main entree. Wow! Needless to say our first visit there was a hit. Today we visited again, not seasoned guests but we've certainly been a fair share of times. Lunch special had increased my $1, still worth it to have lunch for 2, just over $20. Chicken Pad Thai was my entree, level hot, it was spot on and delicious, very consistent each time, salad is basic but still fresh and crisp, just accompaniment and meal, the spring roll and dipping sauce good, not piping hot or as crisp this time, still good, soup was room temperature but had a good flavor, not enough for me to finish it though. My love had Chicken Pad Priew Wann, a sweet and spicy dish, heat level Thai hot, oh was it hot, but good, guess what was even better, mixing my Pad Thai into the Pas Priew Wann sauce. Yummy!! Our lovely host today was very personable with a lovely sense of humor, she had jokes, Loved it! We were in and out without a hitch, we'll return when we have a craving for Thai.
This is one of my favorites, compared to Thai Cafe; in Broadripple.
The food was great! BUT, the quality of service sucks! The waitress/host gave a bad attitude when we asked them about my kid hadn't gotten her food while we get our food already. My kid's food hasn't started to cook. My kid waited for a while to get her food. WHY DID THEY GIVE MY KID FOOD LAST!? Kids are supposed to get food at the same time as adults. The order are NOT order. It was mess up the order. I see some reviews about the waitress was not friendly. That's right! Just be beware! We are NOT going back. We are very disappointed.
The hot curry dishes are delicious!
We have been ordering take out on a regular basis since they opened but the last 2-3 times the portion sizes have habe decreases while prices have increases. Disappointing because the food is good but even my kids are left hungry afterwards.
Fantastic fried rice dishes
Poor service and added their own 20%gratuity with only 5 people. Good food but very poor business ethic. Unfortunate but we will not be returning. Usually I tip above the 20% at least if service is acceptable and/or above but service was not.
This place is amazing! I've been there 4 times now, and every time the service has been exceptional. The Pad Thai is delicious, and the curries are authentic if the spice is right. All-in-all, 100% would recommend.
Excellent Thai food.
We called an order in and they didn't bother to tell us about the wait. I ended up waiting over an hour and a half. They knew they were swarmed with orders but for whatever reason couldn't say that when I called in. Don't call your order in or use any food order apps with this restaurant.
Very bad service. A take out order took over an hour to complete, and they failed to give any time estimate when ordering. Extremely disappointed.
Having lived in Thailand for 4 years I had a high bar of expectation set and I am very happy to report that they met it!!! I ordered the green curry and although the vegetables were modified to those that are more readily available here than those that come with it in Thailand, they were cooked to perfection in a curry sauce that tasted exactly as I remember it. GREAT JOB!! My hats off to the chef. I hope to return again soon as I so miss the Thai cuisine. ขอบคุณมาก!
The worst service and curry I've had yet. They charged more than their menu prices. The "sticky rice" was dropped to our table in a zip lock bag. The food was poor in presentation and taste. My drink was empty the entire meal because our server didn't ask how our food was or even check on us after setting all the food at the corner of the table and walking away. She said maybe 4 words to us total.
Ordered Thai Fried rice, it was bad taste ,bad service and pricey food..!
I cannot explain how good the mussels are with the sauce they provide. I crave them all the time.
Great food, truly personalized service, reasonable prices. I will be returning!
