Busy neighborhood mainstay serving a variety of Thai specialties for takeout, delivery & catering.
Local, family owned establishment. Food is always piping hot and fresh. Crab Rangoons are super crispy and flavorful but not too oily. Curry fried rice is a favorite with good flavor and spice level. Portions are generous and staff is friendly.
This place is a real gem! My family and I ordered takeout β the Inbox Pad Thai is a must-have. The thin rice noodles are a really nice twist to traditional Pad Thai. We also got the Lad Nar as an entree and the chive dumplings and shu mai as appetizers. I highly recommend the chive dumplings β they are super crispy on the outside and have a delicious filling! π₯
Great experience. They were very busy but we're very vocal about the estimated time the food would be ready. The food was fantastic, really good tamarind pad thai. Also, they put chicken when we asked for veg, realized the mistake and called us multiple times to come back which was really kind on their part.
Great service and delicious food! Our server was sure to check up on my husband and I... and let us know their deep fryers were taking a little longer than anticipated to get hot. I appreciated the notice. The food is fresh and when we asked for spicy, we got spicy! I would recommend coming here for any occasion. Itβs a laid back, casual spot. I got the Pad Kee Mow and my husband got fried rice! Both were great and we started off with crab Rangoonβs that were also yummy.
Zero stars. Donβt eat here! I Should have realized, since this place looks like a dump and dirty, disorganized, ONLY CARRYOUT. Spent $108.00 for Horrible tasting Thai food: everything was WAY OVER sugared; Basil beef fried rice had exorbitant amount of sugar, as did horrible, yes horrible, tasting ginger chicken, had no fresh ginger; cucumber salad had sugar syrup, gross; pad kee mao, no jalapeΓ±os over sugared NOT EDIBLE, didnβt even want to try sweet and sour chicken bc I already got a stomach ache from everything I tried, could NOT FINISH MY SMALL BOWL OF FOOD, that BAD!!! Called and asked why so much sugar, she replied itβs their recipe??!! Asked me if I asked for low sugar, NEVER HAD I HAD SUCH DISGUSTINGLY over sugared HORRIBLE THAI FOODβ¦ sugar overload, going to call AMX FOR A CREDIT. Who puts this amount of sugar in everything???? They can keep their recipe; just a dirty disorganized take out hole in a strip mall in Wilmette, thought Iβd give them a try since they go by the name of Thai inbox that is in Glenview, Illinois, BUT IS DEFINITELY DELICIOUS AND NO SUGAR, cannot believe they serve this SLOP!!!!
"Thain Inbox is a hidden gem! The food is absolutely delicious, especially the basil fried rice. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the rice was cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and attentive. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes.
We also used their catering service for an event recently, and our guests raved about the food! The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented."
Thai Inbox has the best Thai food and such amazing customer service! They catered my 30th Birthday party and the food and service we received was beyond outstanding! From placing the order, to claiming promotional deals, and even the packaging and presentationβ¦amazing. We order dinner with them regularly but this was my first time catering with them and I would highly recommend them to anyone! Thanks Thai Inbox Wilmette!

Had the green curry beef lunch special, good pricing, and the food was great.

Very very disappointing
1. Fried tofu is stale and chewy not crispy
2 pad thai noodles are round not flat
3. Fresh eggroll wrapper is not rice paper but wanton wrapper
I order here all the time. The food is fresh and tasty. Highly recommend Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao and Sweet Chilli Chicken!

Best shrimp fried rice πππ
Spring rolls and soups the best
Prior to Covid, this place had exceptional Thai food. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has significantly gone downhill. However, the owners are extremely nice, and the crab rangoon is terrific.
Previously, their dishes were plentiful in meat and vegetables, but now, my meal consisted primarily of noodles, with only three small pieces of beef and a scarcity of vegetables.
It's good if you're 65+ and enjoy bland food, but if you've been to Thailand and are looking for something even remotely authentic, it's not very good
This place really goes out of their way to take care of their customers! I arrived 15 minutes after closing and the owner of the restaurant, Fawn, still let me order and personally took care of preparing my food. When trying to give her a tip, she wouldn't even accept it - solely to be nice. The menu and food are both amazing - all around wonderful experience. I wish more restaurant owners and staff were as caring as they are here.
My favorite Thai food in Wilmette by far
Good food, but so tired of corner cutting and constant stealth price increases and fees. They cut out dine in, and in past few years have almost doubled their all in prices. Good luck in future, but we are done. Greedy. Snd menu proces, even if recent are always a buck or two off.. grossly overpriced for take out only joint.used to love this place
Carry out only but the food and service are fantastic !
Panang curry with crispy wide noodles is my fave, though their pad siew and pad thai are also amazing.
We ordered take out for a family dinner when we had family visiting and enjoyed all our food. The Thai iced tea and coffee was tasty. Also ordered chicken curry puff, beef salad, tom yum soup, pad see ew, and shrimp with lobster sauce. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. We will return and are looking forward to trying more things on their menu!
This is a great local Thai restaurant. Really enjoyed the Pad See Ew and thought the owners were very kind. We will be back again.
Best won ton chicken noodle soup in the area.
Horrible pad thai..
Noodles floating in the too spicy sauce..I ordered mild
Small portion
.. not worth it
I had commuted from downtown and was picking up food for the family. I spent over $50 and when I asked to use the bathroom I was told no. The worst customer service ever. Will never go back.
Very good food... but very pricey... but worth it.
Best asian meal I had in a long time.
Everything we tried was great especially the drunken noodles and chive dumplings.
Not open for sit down, take out only. Not at all spicy
The Tom Kha Soup is so yummy!!
Great delivery! Everything we ordered was good, fresh and still hot. We will definitely be ordering from them again!
Great PAD SEE EW π
I always order beef salad wherever I go, and this is by far, the worst
The Thai fried rice is delicious. The portion was good for two people.
Really flavorful and delicious. Subtle spices and freshness distinguished our soup and both our entrees from the "typical" Thai/Chinese place. Vegetables were varied and not overcooked. Service (take out) was cheerful and efficient. A real find. We'll be going back.
Was slightly disappointed with the rice since it came out very soggy. The green curry was good though
Small portion for the cost!
Not impressive
Good local thai food place.
I love very fresh and delicious food
April 2022
Very average experience. Small portions and sometimes lacking flavor and all necessary ingredients. Really not sure about this place.
Crab rangoons are unbelievably good. Amazing food
Always always good food
too overwhelmed to take my order. Left my phone call for take out order waiting for over 10 min and I had to call them with another phone just to have them say I am not sure what you want. been ordering from them for years
The food at Thai inbox is amazing and so tasty. The staff is supper friendly.
Food is really good

Thai Inbox is a decent Thai spot in the North Shore area. Their curries are a little watery, though the taste is spot on, but their Pad Thai is really sour due to heavy usage of Vinegar.
A reasonable option if you're looking for a quick Thai takeout.
Excellent North Shore Thai cuisine! Always fresh ingredients, good size portions, and consistently delicious! I've only had take out....but can't wait to dine in! Highly recommend! Thx Thai Inbox!
Great Thai option in the area! Garlic noodles were exceptional. Wife very much enjoyed her Drunken Noodles as well.
Spicy pad Thai. Yum.
Love their chicken pad thai
Great Thai food delivered quickly. The best beef salad I've had in years. Great Tom Yum, too.
We especially appreciate the GLUTEN-FREE dishes that are not only delicious, but are always reliably gluten free. Unlike some other restaurants who advertise gluten free dishes, there have been absolutely no bad reactions from Thai Inbox's GF food. Those of you with Celiac issues know just what I mean.
Oh man, the garlic noodles here are insanity. Also recommend the Lad Nar if you love Chinese broccoli
Love this place!! Great thai food
My Best friend and I eat here all the time. Love their Pad see ew always fresh and their vegetable roll is too die for amazing.
First time ordering pick up and wow the food was amazing. My son ate all the egg rolls before I could try one, but the Inbox Pad Thai was delicious and the green curry amazing and just the right amount of heat! We will be making this a regular at our house. Affordable prices for fresh great food .
Always great and reliable
I was only passing through town and stayed at a nearby hotel. I searched for restaurants that I could order DIRECTLY with for delivery and not through a 3rd party. The food was packaged very well. The edamame was still warm and crisp--not soggy. They took care to separate liquids from food items, too. It was just so refreshing to order mostly vegetables with just a little meat tossed in. Probably one of the best Thai I've had in Chicagoland. This will be my go-to restaurant the next time I am in town.
They donβt answer the phone, so when you want to pick up your order try honking the horn several times!
If you like Singapore Noodles, try Inbox Kee Mow, four chiles hot or five if you dare, and the Pad Prik fish is GREAT and enough to share, though because the fish is fried -- but not too much, mind -- it doesn't travel particularly well.
Green Curry seafood is also top notch - don't forget to go spicy -- but if you like Thai Spring Rolls, order early as Inbox tends to run out.
Food was cold and tasted like it had been sitting out for 3 hours. The taste resembled something I would feed my pets. There were no utensils in my delivery. Worst Thai food Iβve ever had
The food is good and very tasty. The restaurant is small and clean the service is good. The plates are too small for the price.
Green Curry and Pad Prik... amazing.
Great place for a tasty quick lunch or a dinner takeout
We LOVE Thai Inbox! Their service and food is top notch. Our staples are veggie soup, wonton soup, basil chicken and chicken pad see ew. I highly recommend for a local lunch outing or takeout dinner. Enjoy!
Delicious meals, great portion size and really filling.
I love this place! My coworker's and I can go on lunch break and the service is so nice we have plenty of time to enjoy the delicious food!
Great Thai food, nice seating if you want to dine in. Better than most take out Thai places. You wonβt be disappointed either way.
Have been going there for 2 years now, we love their food. Great for carry out.
Terrific local Thai joint. We carryout, have since they opened years ago. Authentic & fresh ... a tad pricier than many, but given the location that seems reasonable.
If you love appropriate real HEAT, they will accommodate. Meats are super high quality & tender, and saucing is first rate.
RECOMMENDED
I have eaten in this restaurant about 8-9 times and every time the food was fresh and delicious. Love their pad see iew and shrimp appetizer. Reasonable prices. In my experience, this is one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. Highly recommend.
The best pad Thai... and I've eaten a lot of it from many different restaurants! I've had most of the curries and noodle dishes here as well, and they're all excellent. Consistently very good!
Great food! What does βThai Inboxβ mean, though?
zero flavor very bland
Great food and service
Nice little place. Food was ok and reasonable price. Good service.
Really good Thai food. Their other location next to old orchard isn't as good as this one in terms of taste.
Great high end take out. Or dine in! I go once a week!
They saved our event! We had a work event that we needed catered & when we went to pick up the food (from a diff. restaurant), they told us they had no record of our order! We called Thai Inbox in Wilmette & they put together a catering order in one hour & the food was very tasty! Thank you!!!
Great Food...great service.. fast service...fresh and delicious. Coming back soon
GOOD FOOD, Bad Service from the Owner. Employees are good.
Ordered by phone for "Delivery" and said it Loud and clear over the phone, the lady said "sure, what would you like?" so continued and ordered. the lady on the phone said "okay it will be about 20-30min. 2hrs later. . . i get a call and it was the same lady, she said "are you coming to pick it up?" i told her it was for Delivery and ive been waiting. She than said "NO you didnt, i took your order and im the owner of the restaurant." so i told her to just cancel my order. NEVER going back there again.
Average food, service below average.
Tucked into a small unassuming store front, the food is delicious. Had the basil chicken which was great. Got a chance to try the pad kie maw as well. Just the right amount of spice to it, just the right amount of kick.
My favorite Thai place.
Ever since the new owners took over a few years ago it has become my go to place for local Thai. The new sit down restaurant on the east side of the street is clean and attractive. The food is still good too.
Excellent food and prices
Best Thai on the northshore. Great staff as well stop by and be treated to great food.
Food is fresh and delicious! Service is quick. This quickly became my favorite Thai place in town.
First off, my girlfriend recommended this restaurant and we decided to go for my sister's birthday. The food was incredible and so clean inside. The service was also great. The crab rangoon, Pad Thai chicken and shrimp, the chicken panang curry we're all incredible. We'll def be coming back. Thanks
Service ist impeccable and fast.
Good consistently delicious. Made to order.
Prices are competitive.
Great go to for carry out.
Great like homemade food
This has become a go to restaurant for us over the course of the last year. We we're mostly carrying out and wanted to give eating in a try. The space is clean and brighly lit with a contemporary feel. A pop music soundtrack plays softly in the background. The vegetable soup is savory and has lots of vegetables. The chicken noodle soup has wontons in it and a lot of green onions. Entree portions are appropriately sized and mostly flavorful. The brown rice penalty is $1.50 which is ridiculous. Super attentive and friendly staff. A bonus: $4 Thai beers.
We usually do takeout, but they have a nice seating area as well. Great food, service, and prices.
Pad thai was amazing very juicy noodles
And Thai egg rolls were delicious too! πππ
Fantastic Thai food in west Wilmette. They are in a new location so you can now dine in.
Soft Thai music, friendly courteous servers, prompt service, delicious food.
my favorites are the pad thai and garlic noodles!
Absolutely terrible service. Took over two hours to deliver.
Best carry out / eat in Thai for miles. Always fast carry out and friendly dine in service. The pad siew, panang and spicy basil are outstanding.
Yummy
Everything we tried was delicious!
Great food, fast service. Their tom kha soup is delicious.
Fast, friendly service. Food is superb. Good Thai πΊ selection. Try out the baby eggrolls and fishcakes, you won't regret it
So good. Fresh quality ingredients. A bit expensive, but you get what you pay for.
Some of the best Thai food I've had. Still have to visit their new location but will soon I'm sure.
I ordered Fresh Spring Roll and Panang Curry (To-Go)
If you are thinking about rice paper wrapped spring roll this place does not have them. It is Egg paper wrapped. and they are small (8x quarter size) and charge you 6 dollar for it.
Panang Curry was decent but the Rice was dry. it was little spicier than usual. Meat was dehydrated ( I believe they are frozen). and they didnt use a lot of coconut milk.
As Local Guide If you want to try genuine Thai Food go to : Lai Thai Restaurant
Best Thai near Skokie.
Always happy with the service here.
Timely delivery, good customer service and amazing food, recipe of a really good restaurant.
Amazing service so fasr
Quick carry-out option located smack in the middle of a strip mall on Skokie Boulevard, Thai Inbox is a great idea for that one day in the month you're not ready to start taking out the pots and pans. The Basil Fried Rice is top notch, with the perfect mix of grease and crunch expected in take-out boxes. The Pad Khee Mao is also wonderful, although a little bland. Portions aren't huge, but then again, this isn't the kind of food you'd want to reheat or repeat as it's best eaten fresh. The restaurant is really not much of anything as there's only a few stools facing the window for seating. Nope, not a place to linger, but certainly cooking up a storm back inside the kitchen.
