It’s a small family restaurant. Jewel of Siam has a very delicious food. Tom yum soup, pepper steak and mango sticky rice are my favorite. Definitely will be back to try other entrees on our next visit.

I really like this place but the up charges are really high. I wanted noodles instead of rice so instead of just giving me an up charge, they serve no rice with the meal and then charge me $5 full price for an incredibly small bowl of noodles. like 4 oz of noodles for five bucks. it's only pasta fellas come on. nobody likes to feel like they're getting up charged to death. a super small bowl of rice is like $3. and they don't give you enough rice to go with your meal.

We've dined here several times since discovering it a few years ago. We've never had a bad meal and the service has been solid every time. It's a smaller restaurant so if you plan to dine in, plan ahead because it does seem to get busy.

An absolute home run. Great food, generous portions, beautiful place! I happened upon i”Jewel” by chance and was blown away with the excellent food! They already have great reviews, and it was so good I had to add another.

Some of the best beef Curry Fried Rice I have had. Spring rolls and Pad Thai were great as well. Fresh ingredients and quality cooked meat, chicken, and shrimp.

As someone with a peanut allergy who loves pad Thai it can be so hard to find a place that can make sure it’s allergen free. Jewel of Siam did just that and it was the best pad Thai I’ve ever had. I found my new go to place! Highly recommend their food and the restaurant and staff are lovely.

I prefer this place over any local competitors. I always get the pineapple curry. The sticky rice dessert is worth it. Small and cozy but to the point.

I tried Jewel of Siam for the first time, and it was delicious. I asked for my order to be made without egg and they accommodated me with no problem. I have a decent tolerance for heat for a person from a boring ethnic background with generally bland foods. I ordered "medium" spicy, and it was quite spicy for me. My nose was running. If you can't handle the heat, order "mild".
The pad see ewe was fantastic, tastier than most other good Thai reataurants in the west and south suburbs. The service was friendly and lovely. Highly recommend.

Best Thai food on south side!! I moved to Thailand last year and every time I come home this is one of my fav spots!!

A nice surprise. Have been by here many times. Stopped in a few weeks ago and the entrees were good to very good. The appetizers left a lot to be desired. Some appeared to be pre-made purchased items and poorly presented the others were just middle of the road; nothing memorable.

My hubby and I came here for lunch. We both had the lunch special shrimp massaman curry. I had the mild and he had the med. Each meal came with soup and either an egg roll or crab Rangoon. Crab Rangoon was surprisingly flaking and so delicious. The soup light and the perfect portion before our lunch entree arrived. I was dancing in our seat! It was soo good. The hostess was very attentive, providing us with great food and fast service. We are not residents of Orland, but we will definitely be back!!

It wasn’t awful but it wasn’t great either. Definitely for the more American Thai taste buds. I wanted to originally go to Indra Thai Restaurant but it was closed. I have this a try and it was just ok. Service and staff were very very kind. If you want very authentic Thai this might not be your place.

Where to start. What a great little place.Well we got the chicken satay talk about yummy goodness. The chicken was not over cooked and with the homemade peanut sauce and cucumber salad you can not go wrong. That appetizer felt so light to eat not heavy at all. For the meal we had some Tom Yum Shrimp. Now I have been to a lot of places here since I moved back from Arizona, I was looking for a Thai restaurant who could prepare it like them and I got to say that this place by far has the best that I have had. It comes in at first place here for me. The flavors in that soup are insane, and I am so glad that I finally found a place that has great Tom Yum soup. We also got desert and OMG we had the Mango with coconut sticky rice. Let's just say that it's a good thing mangos are in season cause it was so good with that combination. You have to have it with both so it's not so sweet. It just melts in your mouth. We will be back to try more as it seems like your at home with great family that knows how to cook great Thai food. Thanks for the meal we will be back.

Ordered a Pad Kee Mao and Pad Thai both with Tofu and spicy. The Pad Kee Mao came out ok, but the pad thai might as well have been just the noodles with some peanuts. No flavor whatsoever and extremely dry...
Brother claims the place used to be better and was excited to share it with me since I love Thai food, but I don't think I'll be ordering again.
Potentially could be OK in person, but hard to believe anyone would call what I received as Pad Thai.

Mouth watering food. The green curry is so tasty it makes my water mouth just thinking about it. A perfect balance of coconut milk, spices, meat and veggies. Highly recommend JoS.

If you're looking for a good Thai place, this is where you wanna go. Amazing dishes with beautiful presentation, amazing service, and a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend the Spicy Mama which is a noodle dish that uses ramen noodles, mixed vegetables, and a choice of meat, it's delicious, but you can't go wrong with literally anything on the menu.

A couple months ago, I moved into the area. I love Asian food and Jewel of Siam was nearby. It really is such a wonderful place! The staff are both kind and attentive. The space is small, but that actually works for it. The food is affordable, fresh, and delicious! I've been there many times already and I will be returning soon.

The appetizer combo is a great starter. My go-to is the pad kee mao, and my gf always gets the pad thai.

We tried their chive dumplings for the first time this visit and really enjoyed them, the chicken satay is the best I ever had, And I can not get enough of the mango sticky rice! As a person with food sensitivities I really appreciate that they clearly mark the gluten free items on the menu and they are quick to tell you almost anything can be made gluten free.
