Authentic Thai food
Indra's is authentic Thai, and all of our food was seasoned perfectly. All the portions are small, and the eggrolls should appear on the menu as micro or bite-sized. The spring rolls are absolutely delicious and are a personal favorite. I ordered the spicy basil chicken, which was very good, but I am not a fan of ground chicken, and the menu does not specify that. The Tom Yum Soup was excellent, but the three shrimp in it were very small. My wife ordered the drunken noodle with chicken and was able to find 4 very small slices of chicken mixed into the dish. The Thai fried rice with chicken was barely enough for two and was very light on the chicken. Our bill was $65.00 (very pricey), and It was the first time eating Asian food, and I didn't have to wait the full hour to be hungry again.
Hidden gem!! Absolutely recommend and will be coming back. We stumbled upon this restaurant after a day of shopping. So we were definitely hungry. We ordered 2 appetizers, cucumber salad and the Thai eggs rolls. For our entrees we got Cashew chicken and Asparagus Chicken. Everything was very appealing to the eyes and scrumptious! Portions were adequate. But if you're starving, maybe order another appetizer.
Regarding the actual restaurant, it was spacious and restrooms were clean.
Try it for yourself!
Delicious! I had the basil fried rice with chicken and their chicken egg roll. The basil fried rice has green beans, yellow peppers, and onions with fresh cucumbers on the side. The cooked veggies had a nice crunch to it that complimented the rice and chicken well. The person I was with had the curry fried rice and he enjoyed the food too. We came on a Friday around 4:30 PM and we were the only ones there. The food was really good and the place is clean. I’d definitely come again.
Mostly perfect!
Me and my partner ordered one lamb biriyani and one combo special. Price is justified by the amount and taste of food.
Food was delicious. I like it when they mean their spice levels. There are many places where I ordered spice level 5 (5 being the highest) and only got 3. That's not the case here. I ordered 5 and got 5. If you can't handle high spice levels, stick to 2 and 3. Don't go 1, indian food is better with some glandular water in your mouth. Ha ha ha
Definitely will go there again.
The food is authentic and delicious. One of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to in the states. Side note, Thai food is spicy and this place is legit, so if you don’t want it that way you’ll need to let them know.
Best Drunken Noodles!
Food is always good.

Some of the best Thai food I have ever had and the staff is very friendly.
The food has a phenomenal flavor! We struggle to find food spicy enough for us, but the spice here actually hits HARD. The service, drinks, and food were second to none in the area for a thai restaurant.
Seriously the best Thai food I’ve ever had!! The beef pad see ew and pineapple fried rice is to die for. Super authentic
This is my family’s favorite restaurant in the area. Every dish we’ve tried has been awesome. The foods are always super flavorful, and for those who love spicy foods, this place is especially great. Our favorite dishes are the Tom Yum, Tom Kha, Emerald Green Curry, Panang Curry, Masaman Curry, Three Flavor Chicken, Fried Avocado, Pad Woon Sen, Avocado Curry, Spring Rolls, and the Duck Curry. The desserts are all amazing - the ice creams are very rich and flavorful. Everything we have tried here has been fantastic, and the service is always top notch!!!
I loved the food. Friendly service as well. Only gripe is that the food took a while to come out when they're was just two of us dining in and about 5 takeout orders throughout. So maybe order an appetizer and drinks.
Food was awesome! I had the duck with pineapple and was very impressive! Place can use a little rehab on inside a little outdated but I'm not here for the atmosphere let's get it right we are all here for the food 😅🤌🏼 was really really good 👍 service was amazing too!
This place is an absolute gem. I absolutely love this place. I go to a lot of Thai restaurants and this epitomizes the vibe the flavors it’s just super authentic and they’re great with kids. Absolutely recommend it.
The best in the area. The food is always high quality tasty and consistent.
I call the chef academic , the food is so balanced and taste is perfect.
On the other hand the prices are very reasonable given the high quality of ingredients and taste.
I went to this place because of the good reviews. What a disappointment! I placed an order over the phone and told the person taking the order that my kids were hungry and I would pick up the order as soon as possible. The order was ready in 15 minutes as expected. However, when I got home, the food was so spicy that no one was able to eat it, including myself, who enjoys spicy food! I called the restaurant to see what could be done and was told that they would refund me if I was not satisfied. When I asked for something less spicy for the kids, they said they couldn't do that and took my credit card number. Before hanging up, the woman requested my address to pick up the food or for me to bring it back. What a terrible way to handle the situation! Will never consider them again! What a terrible experience!
Great food!
Great service!!!!!
Amazing taro ice cream 🍨
Love this place! Food and service is always top notch!
Excellent food and service.
Try the fried avacado...
The food is decent, but the portions are too small, and a bit more pricey than other places nearby. I’ve never seen all the tables occupied.
One of our favorites in the area. On the expensive side, but excellent quality and delicious.
I’ve been to many thai restaurants and Indra easily has the most authentic, tasty thai food that I’ve ever tried here in the states. They make the best pad thai and drunken noodles. The food is always delicious and the service is always excellent. I’d highly recommend anyone looking for authentic thai food to try Indra.
We've been to Indras many times and have greatly enjoyed it. Recently, however, we've been disappointed. Portions are smaller, which we could accept, but quality seems to have fallen, as well. During our most recent visit, the dishes we ordered had major ingredients substituted or left out of our dishes. The server did not inform us beforehand. We expressed our disappointment when the food was served. It was only at this point that we were told they were out of these ingredients. We were also mistakenly served chicken when we asked for tofu. The server was pleasant but did not go out of her way to make up for our disappointing experience. We may give it one more try because when it's good, it's really good. Given the price of the dishes, though, one should expect consistent quality.
Decent good food, but small portions for the price.
Terrific home cooked food. Never disappointed!
1st time there. It was a great experience all around. Will definitely go back again!
Went in for dinner on the Tuesday night. Quiet. We were the only table there. There were plenty of people that ordered takeout or picked up takeout food. So although we were the only table, there's plenty of other people coming and going. Had the chicken pad Thai it was pretty good. Had the pot stickers. Usually they're steamed and then pan fried on the bottom but these were deep-fried. The dough is a little bit thick. They were kind of doughy but they're okay. I'm not sure if I would order them again though. My brother had the sweet and sour chicken said it was really good. Usually is the sauce is too thick and goopy but this was really good
Great service, tasty food!
Food is flavorful but the portions are very small for the high price that they are asking, an entree and a appetizer costing $40 for lunch, way too expensive for a simple lunch.
waited over an hour for our food and they didn’t even start cooking it. we had to leave. they gave us appetizers after 30 minutes of waiting after we ordered (they came to take our order 15 minutes after we sat down). save yourself some money and time and go somewhere else. really annoyed and disappointed.
Update... 8/13/23 best service we have experienced probably in years. Very nice and attentive. Place is very clean! Food was delicious. Ice creams for dessert- best around. Portions are still relatively small but very filling and amazingly flavored . Recommended!
Prepare for tiny portions (less than half of other places). And prices are 50% higher. Taste is good but compared to others "just okay." Otherwise the restaurant is clean and generally nice people.
Food is tremendous. Super fresh and seasoned to perfection.
Great food 😋
Food was delicious and the most authentic thai restaurant I’ve tried in Indiana and Illinois
I absolutely love eating here, it has to be one of my favorite restaurants. I always get the pad thai and shrimp rolls. The service is great and the food is even better.
The food is top notch! Garlic Fried Rice, Pad Thai, Crispy Pancakes, Panang Curry and of course the Mai Tais!! Garlic Lover's dish, Fried Avocado, Papaya Salad, Mango Sticky Rice and Mung Bean Custard. New products added recently! I am trying to work my way through the menu - everything I have ordered is always delicious. And the service is great!! Such a nice group of people working there, wish I could eat there more often!
Love this place! Spicy basil with shrimp is my favorite!
If you like ginger, you'll love their Pad Ginger . Many slivers of ginger, tons of vegetables, moist chicken a great amount of sauce.
Avocado rolls were also very tasty because they weren't in an egg roll.... but a slice of avocado rolled in panko then deep fried. YUM !
Food was ready when we went to pick up so we will be back again. ! Thank you!
I had the pad Thai and my husband had the ruby red curry. Both were delicious but the pad Thai was different from other pad Thai I have had. There was no peanut to it. Either way, it was very tasty!
The lone server covering hostess/waitress/bartender responsibilities handled it all well. I enjoyed the Tom Yum soup and the three -flavor beef entree. Both were spicy, in a way that adds depth of flavor, without being unnecessarily hot. Wine from the bar could have been more fresh; I suspect I was the first customer to order that varietal since the bottle was vacuum-sealed the previous evening.
First time customer on the recommendation from someone local. Really good Thai food and generous portions and great sticky rice. We ordered five meals through their website including pad Thai and yellow curry and others and our order took about 40 minutes to prepare. It was packaged well for take out and was plenty hot even though we drove about 20 minutes away. Definitely recommend! (Btw I forgot to take a good “before” pic of our food… but remembered after just a few bites of my chicken pad Thai…)

Great food, but the overall atmosphere is a little lacking.
As other reviews suggest, hidden gem! I was treated here for my birthday, so I didn’t see the over all bill. There was 3 of us. We each got a Thai iced tea to drink, the spring rolls and crispy pancake for an appetizer. I had the yellow curry with tofu, and the others had pad Thai with tofu, Tom yum soup and the cucumber salad
Everything was DELICIOUS!!! We came hungry after a long day, and the waitress told us it would be about 25 minutes for the food to come out. We dined in on a Friday evening around 6:30pm. A lot of foot traffic for Uber eats/food delivery services. Quiet and intimate setting, the art on the walls was beautiful as well.
I will be coming back again when in the area
I definitely recommend! Being relatively new to the area, I am looking for Asian cuisine that I can enjoy.
First, the decorations are very lovely for a casual restaurant. They have the walls freshly painted a placid yellow that is soothing, lovely tables and tablecloths. And they walls are decorated with images of Thai minstrels.
I ordered the red curry. The color was a bit different than I am used to but the flavor was delicate and delightful! Also, they use fresh vegetables that are not over or undercooked. The dish has green beans and Asian eggplant which was surprising and welcome.
The spice level was low for “medium”, so, if you like spicy.. adjust accordingly.
Overall, it was a nice experience with friendly service. Please go!
Went for mid-day meal. My first time. We tried many things intending to take home for dinner. Everything was delicious and helpings were so generous that we shared there and both had take always! I loved the curry and crab Rangoon. Well worth the price and the experience
Highly recommended.
Best Thai restaurant I've been to! I drive 45 minutes to eat here regularly.
Beautiful owners and atmosphere is always good...food delicious!
You'll never find anything quite like their Garlic Fried Rice and I know Thai food. The owner is a very friendly woman who never fails to smile even though the phone rings off the hook constantly. This place is fantastic.
Delicious authentic Thai food. Been to many Thai restaurants in Chicago and suburbs. This place is the best!
If your thinking of Thai for dinner, go here!! Skip Jewel of Siam or the other guys.. this is the place to eat. Delicious..traditional. Great service too!
Love this restaurant, the food is absolutely delicious, the ambience cozy, and the service impeccable. I do not eat meat and the dish that I ordered had tender, tasty tofu pieces.
We went for my daughter's birthday the food had no seasoning on it we liked the egg rolls and the crab ragoon
The food was great, our toddler actually tried and ate everything served and our server was so kind.
Best Thai food in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. Always served with great hospitality and love!! Recommend to everyone I know. Amy and the staff is truly amazing. Thanks for all you do 💓💓
Delicious! I had the basil fried rice with chicken and their chicken egg roll. The basil fried rice has green beans, yellow peppers, and onions with fresh cucumbers on the side. Try it for yourself!
This is the best Thai spot I have ever had. My boyfriend and I are foodies and we rarely go to the same restaurants, but we would most definitely come back. The Thai coffee and jasmine tea were great. The chicken satay was so moist and juicy. The peanut sauce was very clearly homemade and was fantastic. I got the spicy pad see eiw and he got the spicy drunken noodles(this one is super spicy). They both were absolutely delicious and seasoned perfectly. We got fried Bananas with vanilla ice cream and green tea ice cream for dessert. They were both absolutely mouthwatering, especially the Bananas. The service was great and our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food is a bit of a wait to cook, but be patient because the best homemade food takes time. All in all it was a very good experience.
Good food, nice presentation, friendly service. Mango sticky rice strongly recommended
Best authentic Thai food I had around the area. The curry is very good. And specifically recommend their mango sticky rice!
Outstanding food! Great service, nice environment, loved everything!! 💜💜💜
Best crab Ragoon and Tom ka seafood!
Food was good, we tried many dishes, all were good
Great restaurant, great food, timely service and great customer service and cleanliness I recommend anyone to go and visit...
I loved my Thai kee mao but my husbands curry was super bland and watery
Great place for Thai food. The taro ice cream with fried banana for dessert was amazing!
Mostly perfect!

Definitely will go there again.
Had the Pad Ginger Chicken and it was delicious! Also tried the Buko Pandan ice cream and it was tasty. Egg rolls were nice and crispy too, especially with the house dipping sauce. Would come again!
First time eating Thai food. Indra's is excellent! I will be a repeat customer for sure.
This is my favorite restaurant! The garlic chicken fried rice is so good. I haven't had anything on the menu that was not delicious. The best place for Thai food
Delicious food in an intimate and quiet space, with very friendly and quick service.
We were very disappointed with our experience here. We have eaten Thai at Many different restaurants in Illinois over the years & this was our worst experience so far. The food was mediocre at best; The prices were def high for the quality & portion size.
We ordered the Chicken Satay, Spicy Basil Chicken, Chicken Pad Thai & Beef Panag Curry.
The Satay was 3 very small, thin & bland pieces of chicken for $8.00 & did not include the traditional cucumber salad (even though it states it on the menu) but rather 3 thin slices of cucumber cut in half.
The Pad Thai was dry, the spicy basil chicken didn't have the traditional Thai chili's but rather chili powder & It was terrible! The Panag Curry was the only thing remotely palatable & it was served luke warm.
We will not be returning & do not recommended.
Some of the best Thai in the south west suburbs.
The food was hot and delicious. Service was good,
I was so happy at the end of dinner, I really just didn't expect such great Asian food and I love most anything curry. Definitely going to add this place to.my carry out rotation.for sure.
4 stars because I was cold as we decided to dine-in. The food warmed me up so it balance things out in the end.
Looking forward to trying out more dishes.
Not impressed unfortunately. Ordered to go and the Tom Yum was kind of pathetic. Wish I had looked at photos prior to trusting the reviews. My dad ordered Chicken Satay and the portion is super tiny. My brother ordered the garlic fried rice and it was probably the only decent item. Would definitely look somewhere else.
Good food and service. Love their spicing!!!!
They are always so welcoming and friendly! We are always greeted with a smile and the food is delicious! We love supporting Indra’s!
This place is amazing. Ive had thai food all over the country and this is my top 3. I would suggest vegetable pad thai for newcomers and the panang curry.
Dam good!!!!
Great food!! Welcoming staff.
Cucumber salad, chicken satay, spicy seafood and mushroom soup and the red snapper were outstanding. The service was impeccable!!!!!
We "opened" the place at noon, first customers this Sat afternoon. My husband was unfamiliar with Thai cuisine, but tried a Shrimp entree plus soup and found it delicious! I ordered a healthy cucumber salad with julienned carrot slices, plus a beef entree with vegetables. Excellent! Thai art was on the walls. Very attractive inside. Wed passed this place before but never ate here. Now we know well be back! Very kind and friendly server! Great food!
We just ordered for pickup and everything was delicious. Wait was about an hour - I had the Panang Curry which was outstanding and I’ll have leftovers for tomorrow! We also had some tempura appetizers, and they cut a little vent into the box so they wouldn’t get soggy. The same calming experience of dining in was reflected in the food which was fresh, so well made and carefully packaged.
The staff who work here are wonderful, and I’m looking forward to going back in after the pandemic. So glad to have a place like this in the neighborhood!
This is one of my favorite restaurants and I have been going here with my family for years. The food is awesome, the service is always top-notch, and the restaurant is immaculately clean. This may be one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever been to. We always have a great experience coming here and have ordered to-go during COVID-19, and that is also great! We are looking forward to coming back to enjoy indoor dining. Always a wonderful experience dining here!
Extremely clean! Indra's is one of our family's go-to restaurants! One day I hope to try everything on their extensive menu! Staff is friendly and the dining experience is very relaxing.
The food was flavorful. The service was Excellent.
This is the best thai food I've ever had. Soooooooooo authentic and tasty. Always fresh and delicious. Service is amazing. They are always so friendly, accommodating, fast and wonderful. There is no better thai food. You must try Indra's Thai food. The Buka Pandan Ice cream is a scrumptious treat that tastes amazing! I absolutely love this restaurant!
The food and service was awesome! The cleanest restaurant in the area!!
I just had my first meal at Idra's Thai and I could not be happier. The staff were extremely friendly and the food was delicious. The prices were very affordable and the portions were a good size. The restaurant itself was very clean including the restroom. I highly recommend visiting Indra's Thai for some of the best Thai food the area has to offer.
Great food !
When I feel like eating very delicious Thai food I think of Indra's! One of the best places in Orland Park! Thank you!
Best food ever customer service really really good take it out of my way my chicken it was delicious thank you girl thank you so very much 224
I stop for lunch at this Thai restaurant and I was very pleased.
The interior is immaculately clean. The ladies give great service and the dishes are a joy to look at.
My standards for Thai are high because I have been to very good Thai places on the west coast.
The coconut shrimp lack flavor as if was frozen and then fried.
The shrimp potstickers were ok but nothing extraordinary.
The soup Tom Kah had good flavor but the mushrooms and zucchini were standard added at the last minute but fresh.
The coconut ice cream I do recommend. It is creamy and the flavor is delicious.
It will be worth trying more dishes at Indra’s which has a large menu.
Very authentic Thai, nice atmosphere too. Highly recommended.
I've been coming back here since it first opened. Highly recommended for great food. Highly recommend for vegetarians as well. Great service and delicious food every time. If your used to eating at fast food joints, don't complain that they take a bit longer here because of the preparation of fresh ingredients.
Had high hopes but service was awful and it took forever to get our food and drinks. The staff was really nice but it seems they prioritized Uber Eats and Door Dash over our needs.
They are quick with delivery. The food is fresh and delicious! My favorite is their chicken fried rice and the chicken egg foo young. Their lunch specials give you a lot of food, for a very reasonable price.
Horrible service! We waited in line for 20 minutes and no one took our order. A couple waited 45 minutes for their order that never came. Sad to see such service in Orland, a nice neighborhood.
First time trying Indra's. Ordered pad thai, pineapple fried rice, and chicken satay all to-go. They were very delicious and made perfectly. I was very pleased with the to-go portion sizes and quality of the food. I would highly recommend them when looking for a great Thai place within the area. I can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes!
Awesome food!!!!
Great Thai Food and Service!
Great food
This was my first time eating from Indra's. The food was hot and delicious! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. I know that I will be back!
Love, eating here, everything made fresh to order.
Love the Garlic fried rice, the fried avocado and the Basil Fried Rice with Cucumber salad. Best of all, the server, the family all want to give us their best. Food is spot on,service is beyond expectation, and everything all out together makes u feel this is where u belong.
I am not the biggest Thai food fan, but this place hit the spot. Perfect blend of spice, flavor, and portions. We ordered through UberEats, and it still tasted great. I am more of a fan of Thai food now. My wife and I, will definitely be back.
amazing thai food! one of the best out of the dozens of others Ive tried in Chicago!
Best Thai food around
Oh my goodness I love this place! I went for the first time yesterday and tried Thai food for the first time. It was absolutely delicious, the service was amazing, staff was friendly, and the entire decor and atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely. Will definitely be going back. One of my favorite places! Recommend highly!!
First time there. The wife and I both like Thai food. We would pass this place all the time shopping or going to church. Finally stopped in. Menu and food are both excellent. Very impressed by the flavor and presentation. Will definitely find ourselves there often.
Great Thai food. A bit on the expensive side though (it is upscale)
Awesome food
One of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to. I love this place!!
a Thai restaurant that is as authentic as they come. food is always prepared fresh and a well-stocked bar including spirits from Thailand. the atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and pleasing to the eye as they have decorated the place paintings and artifacts that is quite tastefully done.
One of my favorite restaurants! Delicious food, super clean, amazing service. The ice cream is incredible - my personal favorite is avocado, but every flavor they have is excellent! Do yourself a favor and visit this place ASAP.
As delicious as always! Love the sunday wine specials all wines $5 per glass!
Excellent Thai food! Everything we had was very fresh and flavorful, and decent but not huge portions. Service was good.
Great thai food.
Underappreciated gem of a spot! Worth the visit! Charming decor and attentive staff.
Had lunch today and like every other time great food, and great service. Can’t wait for next time.
Really nice place with friendly people and good food. I recommend going there just to have a good time.
We really like the basil fried rice.
I love the Panang curry here!
Three flavor chicken is a favorite as well as penang chicken (or tofu). Excellent appetizers too! Please people! Try this place! It's clean and has delicious food and it would be so sad to lose a great restaurant due to lack of patronage. :)
Indra's was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and attentive; they were also knowledgable about the menu and helped us both with explanations of some of the dishes and with some excellent recommendations. I had the panang curry while my parents had the pineapple fried rice and the 3-flavored red snapper fillet. We followed up with desert from a long list of exotic ice creams that were so much fun to try! We will definitely be back
Great food!!
Absolutely divine restaurant! Although we have never been inside of this actual restaurant, always ordered food through Uber. The food is incredible. Not super salty, perfect amount of spice, perfect portion. Price is fair! We love the food that they cook there!
We like this place. Close to home, good food, friendly service. We always have left overs to take home!
Food is authentic and all tasted great. I got Tom Yum soup, thai basil rice, phat Thai, and panang curry. It's probably the best in 20 miles radius of Orland Park
The food was delicious. The atmosphere was very traditional. The pot stickers were perfect. Service was great!! Will definitely come back.
Food is good .Vey neat n clean place to eat in a quiet/relaxed atmosphere.
Tonight was our first and last visit. Our pork dumplings were raw inside. Instead of replacing them, they took them back, refried them and reserved. For 3 people with no drinks our bill was $70 for subpar food. The only reason I gave 2 stars was for the nice server. Joy of Thai is 5 minutes away and 100% better.
Excellent place. The food was phenomenal and priced decently. The pad thai was perfectly balanced and not too sweet as most places are. The Indras noodles had a nice heat that didn't overpower the complexity of the other flavors. The shumai were perfect little parcels of flavor. And the mango and coconut ice creams were so fresh and chunks of the ingredient within, making it the perfect after-dinner dessert.
