This was the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. Not sure how the stars were high online. Maybe I ordered the wrong items, but I won’t try again. My spring rolls were bland in flavor. My yellow curry I forced myself to eat (I didn’t finish it). I hate wasting food. There were barely any potatoes and filled with onions, I had an onion curry. It wasn’t sweet at all. This was probably the worst meal Ive had ever. Oh the Thai tea was ok. Two stars because the service was good.

Amazing Thai food! Very fresh tasting with great flavors. Dining room is not fancy but we actually prefer how casual it is. Great service. Very helpful with ingredient questions and very mindful of allergy needs.
Best menu items so far are the drunken noodles, Pad Thai, spring rolls, and the Pad Bai Grab Pow w/basil. Take out was just as good. Definitely worth checking out :)

Friendly service, Delicious Food!!!!! I had their Oy’s Famous pad Thai and my husband had stir fried cashew with chicken and we cleaned our plates, so good! Appetizers are also delicious, the spring rolls, egg rolls, and pot stickers!

I can't believe that this place can have 4.7 stars. No way!!! My Pad Thai was greasy and covered in a brown sauce. Didn't taste or look like any Pad Thai I've ever eaten. My husband ordered the Drunken Noodles and they too were covered in the same brown sauce, only difference in taste was his was spicy. We also had the Cashew Chicken, while it was edible, it was floating in a sea of broth.
I was looking forward to eating here but now am so sorry that I just wasted 40 bucks.
Don't waste your time or money.

This is authentic and delicious thai food. Massaman curry, egg roll salad, pad thai, everything on the menu is amazing. And the staff and service are always kind, efficient and fast!

Wow, just wow. I've been wondering where I can find an authentic Thai cuisine, and I think this is the best. The spring rolls are perfect. Yellow curry, perfect. The way the flavors coagulate is enough to make a grown man get on his knees and cry. The music, the smells, the people, their amazing son. There's no place like Oy's. Boy oh boy how I love Oy's.

I went in to have a late lunch. They barely glanced up to me while putting together a catering order and said sit there. Then I sat for 10 minutes before someone brought me a glass of water. I was ready to order but they left too fast. Didn’t acknowledge me, just put down a water and left, I sat for another 10 plus minutes and thought about leaving. They came to take my order. I ordered shrimp vegetable stir fry, the lunch special that came with egg drop soup and an order of spring rolls. Everything was extremely bland with the exception of the spring rolls. I have been there so many times. It’s been going down hill for awhile. I think this was my last visit. Kind of makes me sad.

The food here is great. Service is great. Truly nice people who own and run the place. The food tastes fresh and fun of natural flavors. Absolutely love this place.

Oys Thai completes me I’ve never taken a bite of food better in my life and the flavor in which the food contains is outstanding and I personally believe the chefs and the restaurant as a whole should be named restaurant of the year 2025

First time here today and I had the drunken noodles gluten-free, my friend had a vegetarian rice dish with tofu. We both really enjoyed our food and the service was wonderful. The price was extremely reasonable.

I've tried multiple items on the menu. Everything is absolutely delicious! Love how crisp and fresh the veggies are.

The pad thai is very good here. I have always hated that red, peanut tasting pad thai served everywhere else. The food is usually ready in 10-20 min for pick up at lunch

The best Thai food in the area. Has cozy quiet atmosphere and great service . A key is you can ask for heat(to as serious a level as you can handle)to be added to almost every dish. I highly recommend the Pad Thai spicy. And if you don't like heat (like my wife) you can ask for none. The spring rolls are excellent as well.

Oy, we MISS you!!! The food is just not nearly the same without you. We have been going to Oy’s since it first opened. It was literally the BEST Thai food. Sadly, it is no longer. The Tom Yum is weirdly sweet, the fried rice just tasted like oil, and the chicken satay was overcooked 💔 We are so brokenhearted.

Oy's is pretty consistently good. Unfortunately since Oy and Brian left it isn't as good as it used to be.

I want to give Oy's a good review. I really want to. I heard good things about it, so I thought that I'd take the wife out to dinner at 6 pm on a Saturday night.

It comes down to delicious food and poor service. The staff was clearly overwhelmed by the rush. We were forgotten about and ignored by the staff.

I lived in Chicago for 7 years and was able to sample from some of the best food in the region. Usually suburban food doesn't deliver to the same caliber... Except this one. Not only is this likely the best food that New Lenox has to offer (especially with everything closing down recently), but it's on par with Thai places in Chicago. Everything is delicious and authentic! The veggies are quite fresh and plentiful and the meat is very tender. A breath of fresh air compared to nearly everything else in the area, it's well worth the price! My one and only tiny complaint is that every now and then, the mild food will come back spicy, but it doesn't happen often, so I keep coming back!

I absolutely LOVE this place. We order from here often and have never been dissatisfied. This time I got the Cashew Chicken and I asked for it insanely spicy. Excellent flavor. Finally a place that understands what "spicy" means. The chicken fried rice was really good too!

The woman who took my order was super kind and helpful. I really like Basil Fried Rice. So yummy. The panang and red curry coconut sauce good but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the chicken that was included.

Had been wanting to try this retaurant....boy it was a great experience overall! Waitstaff was friendly and prompt! It's a busy takeout joint but we dined in (3 total, my teenage sons and myself). We all ordered a different dish to share plus some egg rolls and dumplings. It was all sooo goood! Very fresh and flavorful! Even with the two hungry teenagers there was food left over! Will have to take my hubby soon.!😃

I’ve been here probably around fifteen times and every time it has been delicious! I recommend the drunken noodles, the sauce is incredible, and you can’t go wrong with any of the desserts. The staff are very kind and helpful too. If you are in the area, go here!

Used to visit a place in Tinley Park which had amazing Thai. I've tried a number of places and finally this one brings the flavor and quality. The "very spicy" is the perfect heat level on the pad thai. Other places like Joy of Thai dump sugar in their sauces, it's just weirdly sweet.

I am really happy to have Oy's in our community. The owners, Oy and Brian, run a great establishment. The food is consistently great. Our family craves it regularly! My person favorite entree is the "Drunken Noodles with Beef", but I've experimented with some of their more exotic and standard menu items - everything has been great!

I try and eat here at least once a week. The red curry with chicken is my favorite. The pad thai and ginger chicken here is also good. Service is always fast and the lady who works at the front counter is always nice!

The management have changed last year from original Thai lady whos name was Oy to the Mexican owners and crew who stopped making homade sauce and they stopped using brown sugar/ coconut, no honey or orange that make the Thai food taste so smooth and flavourful. So basically, they make it Mexican way, we love good Mexican grill, but this supposed to be Thay cuisine. We were the ones that asked original Oy to make grilled pork with the homade sauce, which used to be great, the new owners stopped making homage sauce and the grill pork was lacking smooth flavor last time was raw inside and smelled and tasted like blood and raw meat. Will have to find an authentic Thai restaurant again.

How many times I’ve driven past this strip mall and how many times I’ve wanted to try this restaurant…. Too many. Finally stopped with a friend and I will definitely be back. Good food and friendly service at a reasonable price! It's a favorite lunch spot for my wife and I. I'm ethnic Vietnamese and been to Thailand. Their noodle salad is very similar to a Vietnamese dish, but they have their own unique twist to the sauce.

I have been looking for a Thai restaurant with delicious food since relocating and I have finally found it! I ordered Pad See Ew, Shrimp Fried Rice and Mango Sticky Rice and everything was absolutely wonderful! I had the pleasure of speaking with Oy herself and the customer service was excellent as well! I dined in and although the kitchen was busy with catering and pick up orders, everything moved promptly and I was provided great service. Overall great experience!

Best Thai food in the area/state/country and Oy, Brian and family truly care about their customers. This is a "go to" restaurant for our family, never disappoints!

I travel the country non stop and have eaten at literally hundreds of Thai restaurants, almost exclusively getting pad Thai as it's my favorite meal. I objectively rate pad Thai. 1/10 being the worst pad Thai I've had 5, middle ground of all pad Thai, 10/10 being the best.

Oy's Thai cuisine delivered a completely subpar pad Thai. Not hitting any of the major flavor notes expected, it was not sweet or savory or salty, rather just bland and really, REALLY, wet? Somehow? The noodles seemed boiled instead of fried and the tofu was also just soaked in whatever disgustingly colored liquid was all over this.

Tried it for the 1st time I normally travel to Schaumburg from Frankfort but decided to find a closer place and they where good!!!!

Excellent thai food again. We were thrilled when they opened a while back as the nearest Thai restaurant was 25+ minutes away. Oy's has delicious food and the spring rolls are large and awesome. I enjoy the ginger chicken, wife loves the cashew chicken.

Was at their grand opening, and still going there now. Love their chicken pad thai, but honestly all their food is incredible. I work for the Aldi nearby and they brought us food on Christmas for working on the holiday and throughout all the pandemic. If you love supporting local family owned businesses and love good food, you simply have to love them too.
