I'm so happy we tried this place. I had the pad thai and my co-worker had the fish. The food was quite plentiful, beautifully presented and was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

I used to get delivery from here to my office atleast once a week, and loved it. I really enjoy their lunch specials which are a lot of food. The salmon and veggies stick out as a great lunch special. Their basil rolls are excellent and the spring rolls are the best in town. I also love their pad Thai. The star though is always the Tom Ka Ga, which I adore.

Recently was in the area and had food in restaurant - EVEN BETTER. Amazing service, Joy is, well, a joy. The pad Thai was even better than delivery and I custom ordered my soup with extra mushrooms which is my favorite part. And without all the door dash markups it was extremely reasonably priced.

All other Thai restaurants are disappointing now so beware eating here!

Our new favorite Thai restaurant in Sandy Springs. We've had it twice now and compared to the other 2 Thai restaurants in the immediate area, this one gives you a good amount of food for the price and it is super tasty. Service is very attentive too.

Crab angels were just that, angelic. I wish I had gotten 4 instead of 3 since they’re so small and so delicious.

I recently dined at a Thai restaurant in Sandy Springs that boasted a very traditional atmosphere, which set my expectations high for an authentic culinary experience. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the ambiance.

I started with the Tom Kha Gai soup, and I was quite disappointed. The flavor was lacking, and the soup itself tasted very watery, falling short of the rich, aromatic profile that I anticipated from a traditional Thai dish.

On a brighter note, I did have the Penang Curry, which was much better. The flavors were more robust, and it showed promise. However, I believe they need to focus on using fresh ingredients consistently. The chicken in the curry was tough, which was unexpected for a place that seemed to pride itself on quality.

Overall, while the restaurant has a lovely traditional feel, the food did not meet my expectations. I hope they can improve their dishes, particularly the Tom Kha Gai soup and the quality of the ingredients in their curries, to truly reflect the charm of the place.

It’s not bad though a lot of the restaurants near here are substantially better . I got some drunken noodles pad Lee mao and well they kind wider cooked it . Not a lot of flavor . You can tell they deep fried all the veggies and mixed with I. The noodles later . Very oily and not a lot of sauce . The chicken was really dry . Asian places velvet the chicken with baking soda and eggs and starch so it stays moist in the wok but they definitely don’t hear .the egg was burnt too and I got wok dust in my food .you can tell who ever cooked it did everything I. The wrong order so it tasted really weird here .

I almost didn’t come here because of some negative reviews but my partner convinced me to give it a chance and I’m glad we did. Came in on a rainy afternoon and there weren’t any dined in customers beside us. I got a little sus because of it but still sat down and looked over the menu. We wanted to get papaya salads but they don’t have that on the menu so I asked them if they could make a larb since it was also not on the menu and they agreed to make it for us. We decided to go with pork larb, beef pad kee mao and pineapple fried rice. The larb came out within 5 mins and it was very very good although the portion was a little small which made me wanted more lol. Pad kee mao and and pineapple fried rice were also super flavorful and had good textures. Let me tell you, Thai is my fav food and I’ve tried a lot of Thai places, and I have to say this place is legit and authentic. Every bite I had I kept saying “omg so good” until the very end LOL. The portions were good as we were very full when finished. Prices is a little more than average but I’m okay with because they’re delicious. I’ve been living Sandy springs since summer 23 and this place is only 2 mins from me and I couldn’t believe I didn’t try it until now. Such a hidden gem and I cannot wait to come back and try more dishes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

You can’t really tell from the outside that they even have dine in, but I’m so glad I discovered this little spot. This instantly became my favorite Thai restaurant. Love the name. The pad Thai, pad see ew, and basil rolls are delicious.

Hands down, my favorite place for Thai. Greeted warmly, and the service was superb. Recommend the coconut chicken soup and the masaman curry with chicken. The fresh basil rolls are THE best in Atlanta. The interior is clean and inviting, and cozy warm. The dinner prices may appear a bit high, but the large portion sizes easily make up for that.

This place is fairly priced and offers decent quality food every time. Service is prompt, friendly and efficient. I usually go there for take outs. I stayed once inside for lunch and it was very quiet. Good place for people who wish to have a good, private talk or for take outs.

I ordered from this place every week and today I was highly disappointed and disgusted to my stomach to find a ROACH cooked in my food. If I had not picked out the chicken I would have never seen it.

Horrible customer service. I placed a to go order over the phone I get to the restaurant I waited 25mins they tell me hey we have to refund you, your order taken longer than expected. When I walked in the door. I believed I was racial profile. PLEASE BE AWARE COLORED PEOPLE ARE NOT ALLOWED. Everyone I asked while waiting on my order they stared at me as if I was speaking a different language. Every other colored person other than African American they serviced to go orders and had a nerve to put a guy before me that walked in after me! STAY AWAY!

I’m usually not one to do bad reviews but this meal was horrible. First, the staff was very nice, no complaints there. I ordered the combo fried rice. Never had it here before but it’s fried rice with beef, shrimp, pork and chicken. Can’t go wrong there right? She said it would be ready in 5mins. Cool. Food comes and I take it to go back to work. I open up the container and a rank smell hit my nose. I thought maybe one of the seasoning or spices may have had a weird smell. Then I tasted it and everything tasted like that spoiled meat smell. I know they probably pre cook some things to help with speediness but I believe the meat was bad. It was unfortunate as this was not my first choice but I will definitely not order from here again.
SN: they did give me an extra spring roll and they were good. Only highlight of the meal.

Had take out. Very tasty food and friendly service. No dine-in customer during Mother’s Day dinner time. Support small businesses otherwise these great ones would close.

I’ve had this place 4 times in the last two weeks! I absolutely LOVE the Tom Yum soup. Sooooo good! Officially my fav new soup and I’m constantly craving it now. The flavor is unmatched. Also, love the garlic shrimp. The egg rolls are delicioussssss. The only thing I wasn’t the biggest fan of was the salmon w. curry. It wasn’t nasty but nothing to be super excited for (which totally could be due to personal preference). I’ve only ordered through UberEats so I’d imagine the food is even better fresh (it’s still pretty hot when I get it delivered). They do a great job at securing the food as well! All in all, love this place. Wish I would’ve knew of it when I actually lived in Sandy Springs.

I understand that their restaurant has won Best Thai in Atlanta on prior occasions. If their parking lot is filled, park next door at Lowe's.

I mean, it's alright. Fresh basil rolls still resulted in fried spring rolls. Pineapple fried rice was...more curry seasoning than pineapple. Maybe I ordered the wrong stuff.

This is by far one of my most favorite restaurants. The food quality is amazing, fresh, and authentic. Glad it survived the pandemic.

The food here is SO GOOD! Also, the lady who takes and prepares the order is very sweet and kind with amazing customer service which really lacks here in Georgia. Highly recommend! Also they are really accommodating! We’re vegan and they can make almost anything vegan or gluten free!

They have really good pineapple rice and chicken curry. Probably the best pineapple rice I've had.

Haunted Thai place....

Got the seafood mixture, roasted duck curry, and pad thai from Postmates. Although it had great concealed packaging, all of it tasted funky and old. The oyster had poop in it and the chicken smelt weird. I was shocked to see the reviews were so good on Google.

The best Thai in Sandy Springs and warm and friendly service. The food is always very fresh. Family owned and run.

If I could give zero stars I would. I walked in with my family (4 of us were in the lobby) and an employee came up and said, "We don't serve big parties." He didn't even SEE how many of us there were. Rude and unhelpful. Definitely do t go if you have four people in your party or more.

We have been eating here for years and when we’re not able to dine in we order take out from here. Absolutely love the food and customer service! Owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating! They are able to make almost all dishes vegetarian and vegan friendly -no egg, no oyster sauce, no fish sauce! Highly recommend supporting this small business when you’re in the mood for Thai food!

Picked up masaman curry and brown rice from here yesterday. The food was simply delicious and the service won my heart. Not only was it quick, clean with all covid protections. They also gave us a complimentary spring roll which was delicious too

If it starts raining and you forget your umbrella the nice lady inside will lend you hers. Just be sure to return it. Absolutely LOVE Joy's Thai restaurant. Has been our family favorite for a decade and Joy feels like family. Favorite dishes are the pineapple fried rice, garlic shrimp and the salmon! Plus always get the mangoes and sticky rice when it is in season! Tastes just like what you get from the street vendors of Bangkok ;) They are fast and the restaurant is always peaceful and pleasant. Delivery always an option too!

Loved the basil rolls and the Tomkah soup. Prices are good and best of all they know about gluten free allergy and how to make each dish gluten free for you. A huge bonus for my wife.

I went to this restaurant today, after seated, the owner came and SNATCHED my son restaurant mini car toy from him and said she doesn’t want kids in her restaurant. My son started crying for his toy and this woman said we should leave because KIDS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN HER RESTAURANT but there was no sign at the door. I had to leave.....really terrible experience, will never go there for treating my one year old like that.

We walked out. TERRIBLE SERVICE.
We arrived and there was another group already seated. They were already eating. We were seated and menus provided. We were asked if we wanted water. We all said yes. Then three other groups came in. They were seated as well. Before we knew it, they all had their waters. Their orders were being taken. And we were still waiting. So, we left. We only went there because there was a one hour wait at Jinya and we were hungry. Next time, we'll just wait for Jinya.

I went into this place today mostly because I've seen it so many times while eating at the ramen place nextdoor, I was intrigued and finally went in with my friend. I really liked the atmosphere but I feel like it probably wouldn't be for everyone. The husband and wife who own the restaurant were both incredibly nice! (Even saw them dealing with a woman who seemed incredibly rude.)

While I was here I had the Kang karee curry and I thought it was absolutely delicious! I've had alot of curry and this has to be one of the best I've ever had, it was so well seasoned and not too hot heat wise. The chicken was moist and tender!

Just order lunch there to go. Good service. I ordered the basil rolls, yum nuea salad and yum woon sen. I make these dishes myself and have had them at other Thai restaurants. The basil rolls were fine. However, the others were not Thai the way they were prepared at this restaurant. I was very disappointed. The beef salad is made with mint, lime, fish sauce, hot chilis, cabbage . This was made with spring mix, cukes, tomatos. In other words , a tossed salad with stir fry beef. The yum woon sen is a glass noodle dish usually made with boiled glass noodles, ground pork, shrimp, mint, hot chilis, lime, fish sauce. This was stir fried with egg and lots of soy sauce. In other words, stir fry pork, noodles, carrots, cabbage, egg and soy sauce. I will definitely not eat here again.

This family run place is very pleasant. The husband and wife team are super nice. I have no issues with returning to try more dishes. While I cannot say the food is outstanding, it is good. The flavors are on the mild side and not overly spicy. The pad prik king with beef was very nice, well flavored, and the satay beef was pretty good. It was the soup that was very bland. Maybe I am used to some other really good Thai places and that is why my expectations are a tad higher. Anyway, fot Sandy Springs, this is the best option, imho.

Cozy atmosphere. Lunch service was very good. Mediocre chicken dishes — chicken was very tough and lacked flavor.

The waittrress was sweating... when she brought the food out, sweat dripped on my hand as I reach out to help get the food from her. I'd hate to think where else has sweat dripped into.... However, the worst offender was the food was plain out not good! This is not good Thai food!

Good take out with the right amount of heat to the dishes

My favorite place of all time. I've been eating hear for over 13years. They are my other family Chris and Joi have seen my kids grow . Very good food, a family place. I recommend them to any and everybody. Can't go wrong with any dish. Great food... Great second Family.. great atmosphere...

Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere.

Worst service. They were taking away plate when person was sitting in front of it and food was still in the plate, without even asking for permission! It was no way near closing time. Very rude and unpleasant behavior. Will never visit again. Will never recommend it to anyone.

Good place to eat. They use to be even better, if you can believe that. They charge extra for a traditional thai ground chicken with fried egg. It's a $6 upcharge, but it's still good.

Great food. Really nice staff. Very vegetarian friendly.

I'm a regular visitor of this restaurant and this place has never disappointed me. Great food great service. Don't miss duck curry.
