Moved out by Joliet and have not found a Thai food restaurant to compare in my 8 years, so I would stop and pick up an order any time I went thru the area. Luckily, I have moved back near Geneva and have become a regular again. The curry dishes are just amazing.

I got carry out. Good thing too bc had I walked in there to dine in, idk if I would have stayed. The place is dirty. There's personal junk everywhere from a lady sitting there on her iPad, presumably the owner, and everything was just... dirty. The kind of place you dont want to touch anything. Then they were upset that I wanted to pay with cc for a $18 bill, which they overcharged me. Last I checked $10.95 plus $5 is $15.95, not $17.95. So either their menu online is outdated or they overcharged me, and then were upset by me wanting to pay with card. Who carries cash these days? And most places don't even accept cash anymore.

As for the food, it was extremely unextrodinary. Thom Yum soup with shrimp was literally Broth with 4 shrimp and some mushrooms. It was spicy, yes and the broth tasted good, but no other veggies and only 4 shrimp? The Pad Thai with tofu left everything to be desired. It was so bland and just tasted like noodles. It looked like it would have a lot of flavor, but it didn't.

I am disappointed in a restaurant of this low caliber being in Geneva, which is a nicer, more affluent area.

I will not be back and do not recommend this place.

I and colleagues enjoyed a variety of dishes in the cozy restaurant. The pepper sauce on the side is usually a nice boost to your dish taste.

Lunch today was fabulous! We had the Thai fried spring rolls to start out and then the yellow curry and pahd Thai. Everything was delicious! Their red chilli sauce is the best I've ever tasted. After, we finished with an order of mango with sticky rice, a perfect small sweet treat to end the meal. Excellent service and very friendly staff.

The food remains OK if unimaginative. The decor hasn't changed for over 10 years and is tired and unattractive. The same exhausted owners try their best.. a new generation would help in light of local rising compensation from Cravings basically next door and Thai corner take out.

Enjoyed a weekday lunch here with my family after local shopping. Very pleasant staff, tasty pad thai, and delicious Thai iced tea. What more could you ask for? I would eat here again in a heartbeat on our next trip to Geneva.

We have been coming here for decades have loved it and have always supported the family. With the recent family changes the taste of the dishes we love is still good but not consistent and the taste is different every time so we are assuming it’s up to whoever is cooking, even the rice texture is different. Still love it but we are thinking maybe recipes for consistency would be a benefit.

This place has some absolutely amazing menu items that I’ve never seen at any other restaurant. The soups are exceptional, really everything is. My biggest suggestion is to try something you’ve never had, you won’t be disappointed.

By the way, I wanted to give them 5 stars in every category but if I’m being honest the atmosphere isn’t great. I can appreciate a great hole in the wall but if you’re expecting brightly colored fabrics and lanterns, you’ll be very disappointed.

I've came here numerous times before, we are quite the regulars. I love the family, I love the cultural influence and I love the cuisine. My family used to hesitate trying food outside of their traditional realm being Eastern European but one dinner had everyone sold. I came back with my sibling after about a month break, the service (like family), the atmosphere exactly how it was before, and the food (beautiful). The complex flavors, the perfect blend of spices, the wonderful use of the umami profile. You could truly taste the culture, and every dish brings you crawling back. I couldn't ever ask for a more pleasant dinning experience, best thai food, best service, and best wishes from such a wonderful family.

My wife had the Fried Rice Combo, I had the Red Curry and Tom Ka Hai soup. All were excellent! We both had hot tea with two refills and the total bill was less than $35. Exceeded my expectations.

This was so bad! When we walked in the place smells and not from spice. Like dirty carpet. Then the owner brought a meal with beef instead of with chicken that was ordered. Ordered red curry that was ordered SPICY and it was as bland as toast! Heard a diner warn the people she was with, "don't judge this place from the washroom." That should tell you all you need to know! NEVER AGAIN!

Ordered take out from this place recently. All of the items we ordered were lacking in flavor. The fried rice dishes literally had white rice throughout and not properly fried or mixed in. Three stars only because the owners were nice and the food seemed freshly prepared. From a taste standpoint, a lot of opportunity for improvement. If bland to light flavor is your thing, you’ll probably consider this the best ‘Thai food’ you’ve ever had like some reviewers have said. I can make this stuff better at home so that says a lot.

Good, fresh and quick. The egg rolls had a light crispy shell that was fried well - light but not oily. The sa tae bbq was yummy - good peanut sauce. The main dish was a shrimp and noodle with ginger and it was fresh and light. Was ready in 15 minutes after calling in.

I'm sorry not sure why this place has good reviews,... I had a spicy chicken fried rice, and a chicken rice noodle dish, and my chicken on all my dishes taste old and chewy!! (Hoping I don't get sick.). Ps. The tiny , tiny spring rolls are 3 inches long. And it's $6.50 for 4 per order!!! Cannot recommend this place!

I've heard of this restaurant for years, but never visited until now and I will definitely be returning. The food was good and affordable.

Door sign and FB page state they are open. Which is 4pm on Sunday. Called over 10 times and no response. Could see two staff members inside the restaurant. I knocked on the window several times. While I waited 35min two other customers walked up.
Well you lost my business. Either update your hours to reflect actual open times or be courteous and come to the door and tell me you are not open.

I cannot recommend this restaurant. I ordered spring rolls, the plum sauce tasted like molasses, and very minimal sausage. Also ordered tom ka gai soup, so salty not edible (my husband agreed), our entrees were not remarkable.

I wish I could give more than five stars. These people were so wonderful. Very kind and very friendly! Made me feel like I was having dinner at home. Food was great too. I love chicken pad Thai.

The best Thai restaurant I have eaten at in my life. I first starting coming here when I was very little and was instantly hooked. You cannot beat their food and no matter how many other Thai restaurants I go to, none compare. Pahd thai, massaman curry, and pahd see ew are my 3 dishes I always get, they are are my personal favorites. Medium spicy of course. The family that's run this place for years is always so kind and remember me every time I come in, even if it's been months and months since I last came in. I would trade my left arm to learn how to cook their massaman curry how they do. It is my favorite dish I have ever (and continue) to eat. This is a gem of a restaurant. Come try it out and support this amazing place.

My favorite Thai place in the area. It's fast and delicious. My favorites are the Pahd Med Ma-Muang (#47) and the shrimp rolls (#4.) Note: I have never dined in the restaurant itself, and only have done take out. The staff is polite and "no frills," for sure, which I prefer.

Family owned business. Very nice people. Great tasting food. We drive 45 minutes to dine here, we have tried many other Thai Restaurant and we prefer Bangkok in Geneva. We used to Dine at Bangkok House in Elgin but they closed and this one is owned by relatives. The food is very close to the same. I am so happy we found them.

Decent pad Thai. No hot sauce or lime. Also I felt we inconvenienced them by not being able to leave cash tip. Server said this time she would let us but next time only cash tips .....There will be no next time...

Best Thai food in the area...

Despite being rather rough looking and not serving alcohol (though you can BYOB) it is clean, provides good service and serves the most authentic food I have had this side of Thailand.

Small family owned spot with great food! I'd recommend making reservations, especially on the weekend. There's not a lot of tables. Had the pork Sa-Tae to start with. Really good flavor. My wife had the pahd thai and I had the pahd sea-ewe. We really enjoyed both. They brought some of the spice so we could add it too. Very friendly staff, and they were busy too. They prefer tips in cash as well, and in fact didn't give the option when I paid with my card. She crossed out the tip amount on the receipt, wrote the amount of the bill as the total and handed to me to sign. Luckily I had some cash on me. I get it though. We look forward to going back.

Excellent, authentic Thai food in downtown Geneva. This is a quaint place that is family owned. The owners could not be friendlier to us over the past several years. We come here every time we are in the west suburbs.

Excellent Thai food at a very affordable price. I ordered the fried wide rice noodles with Chinese broccoli and squid. It was deliciously seasoned and had especially tender squid chunks. My friend and I spent almost two hours chatting and eating. Pleasurable dining experience. My fourth dinner at this restaurant.
