Charm owners have been serving up healthy Thai food for over 10 years. We got started in NW Arkansas, then expanded into Missouri with a total of four other locations. We're excited to be able to share our food with you and glad you're here.
I'm on the road, in a different city, every other week. I try a bowl of pho everywhere I go, and so far, no one can make a better bowl than Charm. I only get to Chicago twice a year, but its always one of my first stops. If you love pho, you gotta stop in this place. Worth a detour if you're in the area!
Iβm definitely coming back. Hands-down ome of the BEST places Iβve had for pho!! I have visited many places searching for flavorful, soul-warming pho and this place definitely delivered. I also got their pad thai with shrimp and it was delicious!! The portion you get is also plentiful β both the soup and pad thai lasted me a couple days which was a plus!! Both the quality and quantity are well worth the price.
The young man behind the register was also very friendly and explained some items on the menu for me with ease and lack of judgement. The next time I come here (which will be very soon) I am going to dine in and bring some friends!
I recently dined at Charm Restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience! The Mongolian beef I ordered was delicious and perfectly prepared.
What truly impressed me was the generous portion size. The dish came in a hearty serving, ensuring that I not only enjoyed the flavors but also left completely satisfied.
The atmosphere was charming (aptly named!), creating a welcoming and cozy environment. Awesome service, with very friendly staff. A solid five-star rating, will for sure be back!
Third Update: Things are back on track! They are putting more meat into their dishes and the service has gotten much better. My gold standard is Ni Hao, also in Elmhurst that has Thai, Chinese and sushi (only on weekends after 4pm) but regarding Thai food they are just as good! Quantity is less but the quality is there. Nathans Noodles down the road has gotten very bad DuPage County health violations so I stopped going there.
Atmosphere is calming with modern upscale music playing. Very clean environment with powerful color arrangements. The service was top notch and Peter the manager is beyond welcoming, helpful and brings the whole experience to life. The food was a 8.5 out of 10. Colorful and fresh. I was hoping for stronger flavors of citrus and or heat/spice. But that's just my taste. And after a lime wedge and chili oil my wishes were made true! Prices are on point. I will be back often.
The staff here is so incredibly nice! The food was pretty good. The Panang curry was flavorful. I got it with beef which was cooked perfectly. The drunken noodles with chicken were good but felt like it needed something. The chicken wings the employee recommended was great with the sauce. I got the Thai spicy level for which is actually spicy (for once). Will definitely come back!
The Pho was so good! I had the pho with shrimp and I added some Tofu.
I came here based on other peopleβs review and I was not disappointed. Iβve been to one other place that was quiet underwhelming so I needed to get it right this time π
I added some extra hot sauce to make it very spicy and I was good to go. I recommend.
I forgot to ask for the serverβs name but heβs one of the most pleasant server Iβve ever met! So Thank you for much.
Arrived at 1130am to have lunch with a group of people only to a closed restaurant. Waited until 1145am and noone came. Google and their sign said they opened at 1130am. The resturant was dark and empty inside. Very unprofessional and disappointing.
I will preface this by saying I lLOVE this restaurant and urge folks eat here. That said, as a business, I felt compelled to leave a negative review.
This place regularly turns off orders and doesnt answer phones when they get ANY traffic. I ended up going in to see if they were open (they were) and waited 5 minutes without being greeted or even looked at. I have no issue being told a business is slower or that I need to wait an extended period but ignoring your customers without notice is frustrating. Turning off online orders and ignoring phone calls also feels like a poor business decision. Hopefully they get better staffing in the future. Just feels like they lack common courtesy and are annoyed people want to eat here.
Again, please support this business but the folks running it, please be respectful to your patroms
I just had the best orange chicken I've ever had. The breading is light and crispy, and I took it to go. I can only imagine that it is even better if you eat it in.
They closed and opened whenever they want. First they closed like 2-3 times in a week when we went there. Even their hours says they are open. I thought they went out of business but then they open again next week. And not a month later. They are doing the same thing. What's going on?
The food Is good though.
Best pad Thai around ! So delicious and a lot of flavor. Prices are reasonable too very cheap for all you get . Deff will be coming here
Tried for take out, crab rangoon, pad thai, panang curry, and another noodle dish. Was good, well packaged, and ready when I arrived. Food portions good. A bit spicier than expected for choosing "mild" but tasted great.
Top quality ingredients, well-seasoned, and very attentive staff.
Highly recommend!!!

I ordered pho bo description was with tenderloin. Sadly it was like boiled rubber.
The classic rice, mmmmm delicious. The noodles, my kids love them.
I've been wanting to try this place for a long time since I drive pass it often. Today me and my husband tried it the first time for lunch. Very very good. My husband is very particular when it comes to Asian food since he is Asian himself and has his spots in the city we visit. We ordered a few things to share and try. The portions are very generous and we ordered too much as usual but we wanted to try several things. We had the shrimp soup in coconut milk and veggies ( I can't remember the name). Very good. I would come back for that. Also we had the Papaya salad. To me, this was the only thing I probably wouldn't order again. It wasn't bad, but I prefer my husbands which is hotter and a few more things in it. Then we ordered a chicken skewer with a peanut curry sauce. This was great. Very tender and the sauce omg . I asked the server if he could bring a tiny little bowl with some pho broth to taste it. My husband is a pain in the butt about his pho in the suburbs. He approved of it. That's a complement to them then haha. I ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp Thai spice level. And omg yesss! So good. I can't wait to take my older son here, he will love it. My husband got the glass noodles with crispy duck. It was so darn good and the duck was perfect. Soft, crispy but not oily. We also had Thai tea. Very good. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu.
Not real Authentic thai food. Ordered the papaya salad it not made correctly. Missing alot of ingredients mainly chilli pepper and fermented fish sauce.
Was looking for a place that had interesting vegetarian options for my brother and this place nails it. The mock duck vegetarian special was absolutely amazing. I had the panang chicken curry and my mother had the kimchi fried rice dish. We all gave our dishes a 10 out of 10. We will definitely be coming back!
Liked it... Would visit again!

Soooo delicious !! The drunken noodles are addicting !! I eat here at least 2-3 times a week
This is my second time ordering carry out from here. EVERYTHING is delicious. LARGE, GENEROUS portions. Friendly staff. I'm sure we'll be back again and again!
Great flavor and absolutely one worth a quick detour if youβre coming in or out to/from Chicago airport n need some comfort food after the painful hours it takes to get out of the airport
Food was amazing. The Pho Bo was excellent. The spring rolls with plum sauce were outstanding. Itβs not fancy, but you will be pleasantly surprised at the amazing food and great service. Nice job!
Good asian food, wide variety
Delicious food with great service and nice atmosphere.
Our server was welcoming and efficient.

Great place to get a spicy wok dish.
I really enjoyed the Thai spicy cashew beef. The yellow curry was also beautifully fragrent.
The Pho was so good! I had the pho with shrimp and I added some Tofu.

One of the best Thai restaurants in the Chicagoland area. Restaurant is clean, has great service, and the food is authentic
Great food and service. Simple and modern decor. Delicious Tom yum soup, pad prik khing, and drunken noodles. Big portions for the price. Will be back.
The food was delicious. The chef really puts his whole heart into the food, a very large selection. When it comes to alcohol, there is wine and beer if you feel like it. The restaurant is very nice and spacious. There is room for more people. Large parking lot.
The Pho was not good , broth was bad. However the food in menu was good.
I recently dined at Charm Restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience! The Mongolian beef I ordered was delicious and perfectly prepared.

The atmosphere was charming (aptly named!), creating a welcoming and cozy environment. Awesome service, with very friendly staff. A solid five-star rating, will for sure be back!
I had an amazing experience at Charm! The Pho was delicious and had lots of beef, the service was outstanding, very friendly staff. The atmosphere added a perfect touch to the overall dining pleasure. Will definitely be back. A five-star gem!
One of the best thai restaurant i have ever been to. Their drunken noodle shrimp spicy π and the panang curry mixed seafood spicy is one of the best. I am not sure if they have a chef in the kitchen but whoever is cooking back there is doing a great job! Service and atmosphere is nice too. Clean. π― recommend!
Food is spectacular. Service is spectacular.
This place is so nice! My friend and I met for dinner and conversation. The place is much larger than I expected. There is plenty of seating, and the place is bright and clean. We each had a beer and water for our beverage. I ordered the Tofu Pad Thai and he had the Cashew Stir Fry. The service was exceptional and the food was excellent. I was so happy it was not counter service. It was definitely more upscale with great prices.
This Resturant is straight fire - We need to make sure this spot does not go under. The Mongolian beef is seriously gas and the service is amazing too.
Recommend that you dine-in for bigger portions
Pho was okay, appetizers not, egg rolls nasty without sweet sauce, and Thai tea taste like it was made from powder and was super sweet barely any Thai flavor at all
Easily one of the best, if not the best, Thai food place around. I ordered three dishes with specific spice levels and a couple vegetarian modifications and everything was perfect. I was very pleased with the food and would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants well seasoned and spiced Thai food in this area! Looking forward to eating from here again!
Finallllly, some outstanding Asian food in Elmhurst. Weβve lived here for over 10 years and there are some solid, yummy choices around but this one takes the cake.
The tom kha gai soup is perfection and my kids loved their chicken satay. We ordered 2 pad thaiβs and a crumb wasnβt left - divine. My husband had the cashew chicken and it was great.
Next time we go weβre ordering the orange chicken though. A nearby table ordered this dish and it looked mouth-watering. The chicken was lightly coated in breading and sauce - NOT heavy as food come inducing. π¬
The restaurant is spotless, starting from the water glasses, utensils, etc. This makes a big difference for customers, keep it up Charm Thai. ππ½
Service was friendly too. You can tell English was not our waiters first language, which we liked, but keep brushing up on those English skills.
Lastly, a friend told me their chef is from a top Thai restaurant in New York. We can tell the food was elevated .
The atmosphere is pleasant and clean. I didnβt use the restroom, but I got the sense that it is probably clean. This is a fairly new establishment replacing two previous pizza places. Iβm really glad that Charm is here! Elmhurst doesnβt have a lot of Thai places, so the more the merrier.
The food was pretty good. I have been here several times. I like spicy as opposed to the sweet French style Thai, and they lean spicy here. Portions are decent.
Good food!
Our food came out extremely scaffolded. Our server had AirPods in the whole time and only filled our waters once. The food was amazing and the tofu veggie soup was really good.
This is best place if you lake cary soup. Green cary or pomangan cary.
They should do something with the interior and atmosphere. (maybe a bar or comfortable sofas) They have really excellent food. I wish them to stay on the market as long as possible.
First time trying this place. I would give it a 4.5 star if I could. I got delivery. The basil fried rice was good and the cashew chicken was good. I would recommend both. I will say, they filled the cashew chicken with too much sauce/broth because it spilled all over the bag upon arrival. I also ordered the crab rangoons and they were just okay imo. Would go back to see how the sit down is.
Great food every time. Try the pad thai, curry, and/or crab ragoons
Excellent Pad Thai. My husband had Drunken Noodles. You can choose spice level for yourself. ( My husband likes it hot, me not so much.)
Wonderful service. Restaurant is clean and pleasant. Will go again.
Easy parking.
I was given the incorrect order for spring rolls, no sauce. I'm really not sure what I was given. Instead of a refund, I was charged again. The orange chicken had little flavor, no sauce. I needed a steak knife to attempt to cut the chicken. I will not be back. Horrible food and service.
Amazing experience, food was great! Delish! Will return
Pad Thai was different than I used to eat, like red color and more sauce. Mongolian beef was delicious! We also liked Thai ice coffee and ice tea.
I went here to try their food. Looking at their website I noticed a large selection of food that was impressive. But when I got there, their menu was small and brief. Food was Ok. Nothing special. Portions were average. The location was convenient and plenty of parking. Server was very dry and not informative. I would not go back. There are plenty of better choices around. Might be a better takeout than dine-in place.
Pho was very bad. The pad thai was good.
Itβs ironic this place is called Charm when the host had none. The woman working the front tonight was very dismissive and rude; I would never eat in because of her.
The food, however, was quite good. We ordered teriyaki fried rice and kimchi fried rice (both excellent), orange chicken, beef pad Thai (no flavor), cashew nut chicken, and spring rolls. Decent portions but too expensive to order often.
Amazing Pineapple fried rice. The chicken wings with their sweet sour sauce so good. The breading on the wings isnβt too crunchy which I love since itβs more flavorful
Great spot! Delicious food, excellent portion size, great price and warm and informative service!
If youβre looking for authentic Vietnamese pho, this is NOT the place. Iβm not sure what I ate, but it wasnβt pho. Coming from a viet person who has ate Argyle pho and other authentic pho places, this was a big disappointment. The pho broth was drenched in bits of garlic. Not only that, but itβs overpriced. Youβd be better off taking the drive to Pho Ha in glendale heights. Now thatβs authentic.
It was great! Please come and try I reccomend
Great quiet place for fantastic food.
honestly probably the best Thai place I've been too, fantastic pad thai and the best teriyaki fried rice ever
PhoBo was delicious π
First time here ... Food is delicious! Fresh, properly prepared, tender and tasty beef, not salty or greasy. Just perfect!
Have not had a bad dish yet
The place is much bigger inside than what it looks like outside. Nice & clean. The food was actually delicious & authentic in that if you want medium spicy, they really give you medium spicy heat! No holding back. We had beef w/ pepper, mongolian beef, shrimp with veg, chicken & shrimp fried rice, sticky rice with banana, green tea cheesecake, thai coffee... we all agreed EVERYTHING was delicious & in big portions. Owner was nice & kind. Prices very reasonable. We will be back there, for sure. It's located in the small strip mall where Zenwich is.
very good viet thai food they serve. highly recommended
Year 2022 ended with a very pleasant experience at Charm Thai BBQ in Elmhurst.
Very polite welcoming staff
From the moment one,Peter made all of us feel special and at home
Kathy suggested best entries and drinks and made sure we had nice experience
The Chef Mark did his magic behind the kitchen walls and produced mouth watering dishes
Each one loaded with freshness
Love to visit often in 2023 and highly recommend to all
Thank you Peter
delicious meals.
The food is very good. However the word βBBQβ can be misleading. We ordered the beef BBQ and it was not barbecued.
I ordered Chicken Panang curry with basil Thai fried rice and calamari #Yummers I also had a Thailand beer which was delicious. Definitely will be back soon.
Food was delicious! The service was great! Plan kn returning soon.
Great Thai! So glad the owners at Charm came to Elmhurst. Finally a Thai place with quality meat in their dishes. The food tastes great and seems pretty authentic. The owners are really good people as well. I have enjoyed everything I have tried to date. Give the curry dishes a try, they are terrific.
Very good food. I love the Thai spicy basil chicken.
We are so disappoint. We were expected that it would be a great restaurant that many good reviews here , it turn out that the menu was a standard Thai food that you can find at any local Asian restaurant nearby. The menu is over price plus service was slow . The manager convinced us to tried the Wine menu and it was pricey .
Worst pad Thai Iβve had. Itβs all noodles with some red sauce. No flavor. Two tiny pieces of chicken in there. Not Thai food by any definition. Garbage.
We read in the City of Elmhurst newsletter about new restaurants in town. We really enjoy Thai food, so we gave it a try. Wow, it is a great new Thai restaurant for us to eat at. The Mongolian Beef and Pad Thai were very flavorful. The portion for the Mongolian Beef was more than generous. Our server was very pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere was modern and warm.
Very pleased to have a local restaurant with excellent menu of basic Thai dishes - made to order with super fresh ingredients.
This place has a cool relaxing feeling inside. The food is authentic and very good. Peter runs the place and is very attentive to all the customers.
He goes out of his way to make sure your dining experience is enjoyable. The place is clean, beautifully lit, and has a great ambiance with enjoyable music. Makes you want to hang out there. I will be back!
Stopped in one day for Pad See Euw and a Thom Kha soup and they do a great job! I been going back several times. Peter is always super helpful - great service. Itβs my new go-to for Thai food =)
This place is delicious. As a vegetarian, the options are endless, as you choose any type of meat you'd like in the dish of your choosing. I will definitely be coming back many times in the future.
Iβve eaten in or taken out nearly a dozen times since it opened and I have not been disappointed. Twice in December we brought in our families who were visiting from out of town. Food is authentic and its reasonably priced! Aside from the quality food the service is phenomenal. Peter, the manager is the best! Every single time Iβve come in Peter has been my host and my server then he runs the check and always has a kind word to share. As a small business owner I appreciate a person who takes pride in their work and with Peter it shows! itβs also reflected in the staff quality and that is only out done by the awesome menu!!
My husband I have been to Charm at least 9 times since theyβve opened. Elmhurst has a myriad of restaurants to eat at, but I was missing authentic Thai and Phoβ¦ and then there came Charm! Our wishes were granted. The pho ga (I replace the chicken with tofu) is amazing! Very authentic. Youβll definitely come back for more. Iβve had the kimchi fried rice, Red Curry, Drunken Noodle, and one of the vegetarian entrees.. everything Iβve had Iβve enjoyed. I do not eat meat and there are so many vegetarian options. Peter, the server and owner, is outstanding. He is so kind and friendly and hard working and generous. Charm is a great name for this place.
Excellent service, absolutely delicious food (that also looked very cool and visually appealing!) and super friendly staff. Eating here was a wonderful experience, and I'll definitely be a repeat customer! I highly recommend anyone who's considering it to try Charm Thai :)
So yummy!
My husband and I went to check it out and ordered a little of everything to see how it was. Everything was wonderful. The potstickers had a nice crispy outer layer, the Rangoon was light and delicious, the garlic sauce stir fry was super garlicky (which I absolutely love), my husbandβs curry had a wonderful broth (one of the best I have ever had), and the basil fried rice was an unexpected show winner! Definitely going back!
Go to Charmed and get the Mongolian beef on a hot plate. It came out sizzling and had so much beef! Very tender and flavorful. The green papaya salad is outstanding, along with the shrimp spring rolls. The service was fast and the food came out hot. They worked out most of their soft opening kinks (I remember waiting for a long time for take out). Definitely give them a try!
Second time here, have tried Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, potstickers, shrimp fried rice, shrimp Pho and the seafood Pho it was all AMAZING!!! Service is great and food is delicious. Highly recommend!! Family started digging in before I could get pictures but presentation is pretty too!
I went here and got the drunk noodles with tofu and the fresh sunny rolls to-go. The vegetables in the rolls were fresh and the drunken noodles had a great kick, flavor, and good variety of vegetables that were cut in good size pieces. I'm excited to try some new dishes here. Peter in the front was very nice and friendly! :)
The food at Charm Thai BBQ is delicious! Itβs hard to pin point what my favorite menu item is. Every dish is full of flavor and served with such a generous portion; plenty to take home. The restaurant atmosphere is contemporary with some of the nicest staff in the area!
Really great place, visiting from California and was craving thai food. The food was yummy and fresh. I would definitely come here again. I also lost my credit card here.. and they were so nice to hold it for me until the next day for me to pick up.
Hidden gem but not for long. Very good food and a good environment!
Some of the best Thai food Iβve had!
This is a clean restaurant with a tasty and varied menu. We like going back and trying different items. Good portions and great food.
Awesome Thai food. The Sexy Duck is delicious, and the atmosphere is great!
Best Vietnamese food ever!!! Thank you so much for the high quality ingredients!
Love this food very good 10 out of 10 would recommend! Love the pho!
Food is delicious! Elmhurst has been waiting for a place like this! The red curry, satay and pho are great. Peter the owner goes out of his way to accommodate his guests...so worth the visit!
Excellent - try them!
I'm so happy I randomly went into this place. We had the green curry and pho and it was very good! We will definitely be back and become a regular :)
Great food! I had the pho Chay~absolutely delicious~ vegetables were so fresh and crisp, broth was very tasty. Prepared with such care~ I have been here 5 times and every meal was fantastic!
Excellent Thai food, great service. Peter and his team do a great job. We take out and dine in
On my most recent visit to Charm in Elmhurst my friend and I shared the Vietnamese shrimp rolls for starters before our main courses of Grilled Salmon Chuchee and Yellow Curry with Shrimp. Each dish was well prepared and spiced to order - I prefer Thai spicy myself. The portions are generous, colorful and very tasty. The owner is very friendly and welcoming and serves excellent food, made the way he and his staff would make it for themselves.
On previous visits I have had the Seafood Pho, Drunken Noodles, and Ginger chicken. All were delicious! I highly recommend Charm Thai BBQ in Elmhurst!
Food was fresh and well presented. Atmosphere is very calm and relaxing for a meal. Would highly recommend and personally will be returning.
I would not recommend this restaurant.
I was ready to eat something exciting after my appointment across the street. I was fasting all day. Boy I was disappointed.
If youβre looking for something authentic, go to the northeast side of Chicago, iykyk.
I ordered the appetizer combo. Itβs basically fried food that was previously frozen served with sauce I couldβve bought from the grocery store.
I expressed my opinion of their basic appetizer after the host asked. I requested a suggestion for the red snapper. They have three different variations on the menu. The host recommended the salmon. Saying it was authentic Thai.
Unfortunately, that disappointed me as well, the salmon was overcooked. I ended up not eating my meal and not taking home any leftovers.
What really made my evening worse was the dishonesty of the host. I drank four Thai beers (Singha). He provided two beers on the house. In total I drank six beers. Iβm not proud of that but I have a higher tolerance. Especially with the lovely micro breweries in the city. Anyway, I get the bill and he charges me seven beers but give me one for free. Then this man lies to my face after trying to correct it. Anyway, Iβm done.
Imagine drinking so much alcohol and still not satisfied by the food and getting cheated. This place is for the community of Elmhurst. Everyone else, go to the place you know and love. This place is not worth the travel or your money.
This restaurant caters to the basic appetite of the residents of Elmhurst. Skip this place if youβre looking for an authentic taste.
Those of you who decide to patron, check your receipt. They may be stealing.
Iβm not from Elmhurst, but my fiancΓ© took me here the weekend they opened, and ever since Iβve been hooked. I want to go there every time I come to visit! The food is fantastic, the price is great, and quality and customer service is amazing! Peter the owner, served us, took our order, and remembered us on our second visit! Iβll definitely be coming back every time Iβm in town!
The kids and I really enjoyed the Mongolian beef and shrimp pad Thai. Prices are reasonable and plates are great for sharing. I especially liked the clean zen, atmosphere and how clean the restroom was. I know odd thing to review, but a restaurant that cares enough to make sure the restrooms are clean and presentable, makes me think they do the same in the places that I canβt see, like the kitchen. Definitely will be back, maybe on Christmas with the family if they are open. Sorry no pics to post, by the time I thought about it, it was too late! It was all gone! Next time!
What a gem among Thai restaurants! The menu is eclectic with the perfect blend of spices. Iβve tried the street noodles - sublime - and the pineapple rice, which with the inclusion of raisins and cashews, recalls the flavors of a tasty biryani. Peter the owner is a gracious host. This place is a joy!
Best Asian food in Elmhurst. Well prepared and very tasty without being covered in sauces. This will be our new go-to.
After we tried several times, this new Thai spot on N.York St is the best we've had in town! Their volcano chicken is phenomenal! Thank you Peter for your top notch service!
The best Crab Rangoon is the world!!!
Food is delicious β₯οΈ
Great variety of choices. Excellent service. Well-executed dishes. Have yet to have a bad dish.
apparently there is a great thai restaurant in my backyard!
Definitely my favorite Asian restaurant in the Elmhurst area! Their sauces are on-point as well as the broth for Pho. Pad Thai is great because they have a spicy option for that! Thank you guys. Keep doing the great work ππ
Very good portions for the cost!
I will definitely go back.
I went with 2 others & all our food was delicious!
Friendly service. Great Thai food close to the authentic tastes of Thailand ,especially red & green curry. Very clean restaurant, also reasonable price ππβ€οΈIT
Ordered the spicy Curry Salmon. It was Excellent Fast and friendly service. Everything easonably priced. Definitely coming back anytime I'm around!
Love the massamun curry! Very attentive service. Have been multiple times, never disappointed.
I almost never post a review for any business.
However, I stopped in at Charm in Elmhurst a few days before their opening day. I promised I would return and since then I have been back many times. I have tried almost every appetizer and loved each one. I have tried a few entrees and enjoyed them all (no leftovers). The food is authentic and you can tell it is all very fresh.
Peter, the owner, is incredibly friendly and accommodating to everyone. He is very happy to be here in Elmhurst and loving the community.
Sadly I only have todayβs photo to share on this review.
Please, stop in and try one of the many dishes.
Tom Yum Shrimp, absolutely delicious ! A little on the spicy side but very, very tasty !
My husband had the Potak! He enjoyed just as much.
Great cozy atmosphere, great service; we will for sure become regulars to this new spot!
The restaurant has lots of room and a nice flow. Great service, great food and very friendly management. Food makes you feel like youβre eating at home. Comforting your soul. I had the Pho bowl. Warm the body on a cold Monday afternoon. Will definitely go back and try other dishes on the menu. Charm-ing!
Highly recommended.
Since I tried Charm. I have been going there with my friends twice a week. I love the food, itβs fresh, authentic and very delicious. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are very nice people. I introduced many people in my company to it and they all love it.
What a great experience! Had the Potstickers, Spicy Thai Rice with tofu, and Drunken Noodles with chicken. The restaurant was very clean and we still felt comfortable and at-home. Peter provided exceptional service! Definitely will be back soon.
What a pleasant place with an amazing menu. Today I tried their Pho soup, best Iβve had in Chicago. Interior is decorated nicely with neutral colors and good sturdy furniture this was the first time dining here for me but Iβm looking forward to coming back to try other things. Nice to see fresh flowers on display. β¦β¦..
Stopped in last week order the Spicy Basil with Chicken and a side order of spring rolls. The meal was delightful, as was Peter our hospitable host! We left with a bottle of his Feliz Creek Vineyard cabernet after pairing it with our meal. :)
Had a great time here on a Saturday night. My gf and I tried the pot stickers along with a couple of Pho dishes. The Pho was hot and fresh and very filling. Lots of bang for your buck. The pot stickers were really good. The Thai Iced Tea was delicious. If you've never had it, this is a great place to try, it's unlike any other iced tea. Service was stellar and the restaurant was clean. I want to go back and try some of their fried rice dishes, those looked really good on the menu.
Food was excellent!
Very friendly staff
And very clean .
Will return
New restaurant in the area, best Thai food for miles. A larger menu than I've tried, it all looks inviting.
Tried CHARM Thai β Vietnamese β BBQ (426 N. York, Elmhurst) this weekend. Chicken Satay on Skewers, Pho Ga (broth, rice noodles with shredded chicken), and Drunken Noodle with Chicken (flat noodles, chicken, basil, chili, vegetables, and egg). Delicious. Welcoming staff. Excellent service.
My entire family is obsessed with this place. As a vegetarian there are SO many options. Their mock dock is incredible, never had something like it. Fresh ingredients, super clean atmosphere, incredibly kind people that work there and own it. This place outdoes any Thai place Iβve had.
We came to Charm for the first time this week and loved it. We did the Pho Bo and Pho Bo Vein as well as potstickers and thai iced tea. Great portions and everything was delicious and fresh! Loved the gentle spiced flavor of the Pho. Came with basil, bean sprouts, and lots of noodles too. Yum! Great service as well. We plan to go back soon to try more from their menu!
Great food! Had the Thai Fried Rice with chicken and it was outstanding...

New restaurant with good food. π
I like their duck menus.
Iβm a chef and Charm has really good recipes. Iβve been here three times already in a couple weeks. ππ»ππ»ππ»
we got the vegetarian duck and pho.. the food was hot and delicious and came quickly... prices are reasonable.. a very attractive environment... only negatives were the ceiling fan was a little excessive and the hoisin sauce and Sriracha bottles needed a little attention... and I had to ask for soy sauce it's not provided.. friendly service
Delicious food and wonderful service, thank you Peter for your great hospitality!
Great variety. Yummy & fresh. Must try.
Place is hands down the best in the area. Warm and inviting the staff really treats you like family!! Must try the peanut sauce π
Wonderful food and service. Exceptional flavoring. I had shrimp with ginger sauce, husband had chicken fried rice. Both outstanding, no heavy sauces. Our go to place for Oriental food now.
Was hoping this place would have been good. Portions could have been better, I ordered two Massamun Curry, and I ordered βmediumβ spice but unfortunately the dish seemed not have any. Guess Iβll have to keep going to the city to get good Thai. I miss Subdragon 111. π
Good vegan options!
Great food friendly staff, have been looking for a good Thai restaurant and this place knocks it out of the park.
Delicious meal served piping hot clearly freshly made. Delightful and attentive staff. Will return soon.
Stopped by for lunch, I really liked the place. The food was outstanding and the place had fast friendly service. Definitely my new got to THAI food restaurant.
Excellent food and service. You must try it! I had the spicy basil chicken which was out of this world. The appetizers were hot, fresh, and delicious. Don't pass up the opportunity to visit this place.
We LOVED our whole experience at Charm and will continue to return and recommend to friends. The menu offers a wide variety of options and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. We ordered the calamari, shrimp rice paper rolls, 2 salads that were definitely sharing size (including the surprisingly delightful green papaya), a pho bowl, chicken fried rice (BEST fried rice Iβve ever had), and a curry dish. The server was so attentive throughout our whole dining experience; doing little things such as without asking we were brought extra smaller bowls to share with our young kids. We enjoyed our food so much that before we left we ordered to-go a basil fried rice & additional curry dish for lunch the next day. Charm will absolutely become a regular family go-to restaurant for dine-in and takeout for us. Canβt wait to return and try more menu items.
Rarely I have appreciated such a Pho soup. Great food, great context, great people.

Great food and wonderful service! We will definitely be back.
Excellent food, very fresh. Ordered take out but the inside is VERY clean.
Amazing food!!! We got the orange chicken, teriyaki fried rice, yellow curry with beef and potstickers. Best asian takeout in elmhurst yet. Plus the place very clean inside!
Great place here, plan to go again soon enough.
β Parking in this area has always been rough. Not many spots.
β Food is great! Period.
β The staff and the owner are pleasant people.
Best Thai food in town! Everything I've tried there is so delicious!
Great new addition to the food scene at Elmhurst! They had warm and friendly waiters, and the food was delicious and fairly-priced.
Excellent job on our first order! Food was great, tried a wok entree and a Pho.
The food was delicious! We had the chicken pot stickers and the beef pho and it had so much flavor. There were some βjust openedβ growing pains (not enough staff and longer wait time) but it was worth the wait. We were happy to see them busy and will definitely be back again!
Wow! My wife and I love Thai food, and they're always our first restaurants to check out when visitng or moving to a new town...and Elmhurst hasn't had too much competition in the Thai food market over the years...until CHARM! I ordered the Thai Fired rice, spicy and it was spot on. We also got the Thai spring rolls, which were perfect, and the Tom Kha. My wife got the Spicy Noodle, and we also added the Grilled Salmon. Our kids (6 and 8) split the Pineapple fried rice with chicken, (Mild) and they loved it. Our 6 yr old kept stopping and saying "my gosh, why is this so good?" I highly recommend, and look forward to many more visits! Thanks for opening an Elmhurst location!
Had the yellow curry the other day and now I'm ordering it again cause of how delicious it was!! I was super excited when I saw there was a new restaurant in town and they do not disappoint. Super polite and a great variety of options!!
