Take my opinions of the food with a grain of salt because this is my first time trying Thai Food.

As you can see from the pictures, I was actually given Veggies with my Chow Mein instead of Tofu. I do not know if this was a mistake or if they had run out of tofu, but being a vegetarian it was still in my wheelhouse and I don’t like making a fuss.

Thankfully it was still good. The spring rolls weren’t what I was expecting, but they were fine. The Thai Iced Tea was amazing, though.
It took a while to get my food, but we were a party of eight and most of the others got food before me, so it was to be expected.

It was all served in to-go boxes with paper plates and plastic silverware which was a bit off putting but was convenient for taking leftovers home at the end.

It’s a small cozy place, but they still managed to seat all eight of us at two neighboring tables.

When we expressed our displeasure at the Red curry beef and asked to speak to a a manager; she told us the manager would not be back until Tuesday and explained the food’s taste by saying “not everything taste the same.” She also claimed that she saw us both eat it, while her eyes have been glued to her phone throughout our meal. We asked for alternatives and she provived none.

This might j be the most life chamging restraunt I’ve ever been to. Before this I was a life long felon, committing crimes left and right, but ever since I had that delicious Crab ranGOON I’ve promised to stay out of prison so I can keep eating here. I no longer rob, scam, fight and assault random people all in hopes I can eat the crab Rangoon tomorrow.

Craving for thai food and there aren't many around this area. Got satay chicken skewers and basil chicken rice. Satay chicken skewers were really bad. Not sure what I was tasting. Basil chicken rice was average. The sauce was too thick, I imagine they put too much cornstarch.

Food tastes great. Vegetables are nice and crisp. Thai tea and coffee are delicious. Definitely check out the dessert menu.

I've had their Panag curry, basil fried rice, spicy noodles and spring rolls at different occasions. Very delicious!

Super friendly and unreal panang curry. The pot stickers and crab rangoons were delicious as well. 10/10 would go here again. The vibes are immaculate for a go to local Thai restaurant.

Whom I believe to be eithier the Manager or an employee literally ran out the door to chase and harass me to pick up an order when I was on an important call claiming (at 8:30 pm mind you) that they are closing soon. They dont close until 8:45pm on that specific day.

How he even knew what order I was picking up and why I was even near the facility is beyond the point. I stepped in an important call came through, I stepped out to take it.Why he had to FOLLOW me outside to ask me “you picking up an order” while he could clearly see me on the phone is harassing. You don’t try to rush someone off a call (especially if they are already outside of the establishment) the manager harasses women. I would avoid this place

Their wonton soup says it’s stuffed with chicken. No where does it say it’s stuffed with shrimp. I have a seafood allergy, and this should be stated in the ingredients!!! It’s dangerous.

Ordered wonton soup through their online portal for pickup. Item clearly states CHICKEN stuffed wontons. I called to confirm because of a severe shellfish allergy. They answered saying it’s chicken and shrimp. I told them about the issue on their menu so other people wouldn’t run into the same issue; to which they replied by shouting at me saying it was chicken and shrimp. Followed by them proceeding to hang up on me as I continued to call back.
I would not recommend this place to anyone.

What used to be a favorite restaurant of mine has now lost it's touch as the quality of the food has decreased tremendously. Yummy Thai seems to be resting on the laurels of previous achievements and has delivered a lackluster performance tonight. I ordered 5 dishes tonight and every single one was one I've had before and loved, but they all fell flat in terms of flavor and my whole family was disappointed.

I had a to go order. The chicken pad Thai didn't have flavor or peanuts. It was a nice portion but it was no flavor. I tried to stir it up but nothing.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since 2015 and today will be my last day. I usually order their basil chicken fried rice chicken only because of a shellfish allergy. This is the second time I’ve gone to eat the rice and found shrimp in it. I don’t know if there’s new staff in the kitchen or new restaurant ownership but I don’t want to gamble with them anymore.

It really pains me to write this review. This was my Go-To Thai place for my undergraduate degree at UIC, and it was some of the best Thai Food I’d ever had but this past year or so, the food has gotten TERRIBLE. They’re still friendly people but the food is LACKLUSTER and them getting your order correct, is a gamble. I don’t think I’ll ever be returning. If you’re like me and remember the glory days for this restaurant, believe me, they are LONG GONE. The Thai Iced Tea is the only thing worth getting at this point.

My favorite place for takeout in Little Italy. Definitely go for the curry noodles or the pad thai.

This restaurant used to be my go to place for the past 3 years! It’s quite disappointing the food don’t taste the same anymore. I ordered a medium spicy basil fried rice that costed me $15 - not cheap seriously. It was lack of meat and had no lime, red cabbage, and peanut. It wasn’t even spicy!

Used to like this place but just had an AWFUL pickup order. Ordered their orange chicken dinner and pad Thai dinner and this was what I got:

- 6 pieces ($16+) of breaded orange chicken that was under-fried to where the breading was this slimy, disgusting coating that was falling off of the chicken pieces. Also BARELY any sauce w/ the meal.

- Exploded brown rice that looked like quinoa at first glance and was clearly old and stale

- Weird shredded noodles that was definitely not pad Thai noodles, the noodles dish overall was bland and dry.

One of the worst pickup meal experiences I've ever had and not cheap. Highly recommend everyone avoid this place.

Honestly the best customer service! I ordered my food via Uber eats and the delivery person got the wrong person's order. I called the restaurant and checked if they still had my order they said they do. Unfortunately they weren't able to deliver the food to me because I live far from the restaurant but they made me fresh batch of food and because I was driving there to get it, they added free appetizers of my choice with it. They were truly apologetic. The food was DELICIOUS!

Food was passable but overpriced and served on cheap paper plates with cheap plastic silverware. All of my sauce soaked into the paper plates and I had no sauce left and was eating parts of the paper plate.

I recently visited Yummy Thai for the first time and have to say I was disappointed. I ordered a standard chicken Pad Thai with medium spice and received a bland dish with next to no flavor. Meat, noodles and vegetables had almost no taste and there was no hint of spice that would accompany a medium dish. This was incredibly disappointing for a dish that cost over $10. There was also no water available for the table, and the only option was to purchase bottled water. In addition to the disappointing food, the restaurant itself is far from charming. Largely blank brick walls, lots of empty floor space, aggressive lighting, and low ceilings don't do anything to help create a nice dining atmosphere. There was also no music or other ambient noise aside from the 3 other people who happened to be there, which made speaking uncomfortable as it was easy to hear everything going on at the next table over. If the food itself wasn't ready as quickly as it was, I would give Yummy Thai just one star and I debated doing it anyway given the poor value for money on display here. I hope this place can pick itself up and start making some quality food, but I can't say I plan to return to find out.

This place was my favorite years ago. Tried again after moving back and it's ok. You won't hate it but it's not exemplary. Peanut sauce is more like peanut paste with huge chunks of peanuts in it.

Not worthy anymore. Some time ago, this used to be a good Thai place. The red curry I ordered last night was watery, flavorless, with just a few pieces of chicken. I remember having this dish here and it was delicious, with the right consistency and spicy, and great coconut milk flavor. It was about $9 but now is more than $11. And they took 45min to have my order ready.

Very disappointing. It looks like they might be under new management. The food tastes completely different. The rice doesn't look washed, and the meat quality is clearly below average. Yummy Thai is reliable, fast, and delicious! I ordered several dishes to share with my family and we enjoyed them all. The basil fried rice was cooked perfectly and the pineapple provided a nice contrast to the umami of the soy based sauce. The pad thai was pretty traditional, but I wouldn't have minded a bit more sour tamarind flavor. They topped the pad thai with shredded red cabbage that provided a nice crunch even if it was slightly bland. The pad sie ewe was as expected, chewy wide noodles in a sweet soy sauce with a little noodle char provided a great flavor and eating experience. The spicy crazy noodles had nice crisp-tender veggies but weren't spicy at all. Chili sauce was provided on the side, but I wish there was more heat in the dish. The egg rolls were crisp and delicious, staying crunchy even after a 20 minute car ride, impressive. They generously gave us a couple free egg rolls as well and I liked this extra touch. My one thought was that the portion size were a bit small. The containers were full but undersized. Overall, I recommend Yummy Thai for their great flavors, fast service, and solid, reliable consistency.

use to order from here all the time. I would order the same....medium vegetable tofu soup and brown rice. However, I noticed back in December 2020 the soup and rice didnt taste the same . Fast forward to me ordering on today to try once again and it was the same and my order wasn't accurate. Upon calling, I kept being told hat I got what I ordered. One of my friends stated they orderd something totally diffrent from here about 3 months ago and it did not taste the same either. Not sure if they are under new management, but I will no longer order anything else from here.

I asked for it to be made SPICY, with EXTRA BEANSPROUTS, PEANUTS, AND CILANTRO, plus extra sauce, for which I was PROMPTLY CHARGED an extra $5.....ok that's WAY TOO MUCH, but ok. The food was TOTALLY BLAND and I received NO EXRTAS, and only 1 sauce. Plus, the bag was all wet from the sauce leaking out. I'm requesting a FULL REFUND and NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Really like this place near UIC which has good options for Thai food . Their Pad Thai and Crazy spicy noodles which come with flat rice noodles are really worth trying. Take very less time to prepare the food and really provide a quality packaging.

I got the hot pot noodles with beef and shrimp in it and the shrimp were over cooked and the noodles could taste better.

Received their Panang curry ordered via uber eats- I usually give restaurants the benefit of the doubt when I review but honest to God, one of the worse panang curries I've ever had. 3 pieces of small cuts of chicken in my entire order, the "curry" had the consistency of thin soup and the taste wasn't there. Called the restaurant and they they explained because I ordered from uber eats they have no part in the return (which i understand). Please do not order the panang from here.

I ordered Mongolian beef through Uber eats, but I got the food without beef. The option I could choose only have tofu, chicken, vegetable. So, I picked the vegetable and that's all I got. I called the restaurant and the staff was EXTREMELY RUDE and yelled at me that why I chose vegetable. If you wanna eat beef, you need to pay extra for beef. Why the food name is mongolian BEEF??? Customer service was terrible. Do not use the restaurant. If I can score zero star, I want to.

My absolute favorite thai restaurant in Chicago. They are my go-to takeout spot also. My favorite dishes are the Pad Woon-Sen, Pananag Chicken Curry, Spicy Crazy Noodle, and Basil Fried Rice.

There service is always top notch and fast. The food is fresh, comforting, and consistent.

Delicious food at a reasonable price. Our party ordered the Cashew dinner with chicken and the Pad Thai with shrimp. The vegetables were fresh and plentiful with each meal. Extra hot peppers were provided upon request, but the food is not very spicy. I'd stop by here again to try other items on the menu. Yummy was yummy.

The food was bland. I got the ginger chicken, spicy. My wife got the green chicken curry. Also ordered veggie rolls and pot stickers.

The fried foods had a pancake batter flavor.

My ginger chicken was made with very little ginger and wasn’t spicy at all.

And my wife’s dish had a bug in it.

Maybe our experience was a fluke. Buy and eat at your own risk.

Customer service was absolutely horrible the lady server was very unpleasant slam the menus down on the table and walked away. My family member asked for her appetizer to come with our food and the lady just put her food to go and gave her the check. She didn't ask us if everything was okay just place the food on the table and walked right away. We had to ask for silverware, condiment, napkins, and chopsticks. I felt very uncomfortable eating here as I seen other people were attended to properly that was not the same ethnicity background. Food was good but still had a bad taste in my mouth about the horrible treatment.

Delisious Thai foods, especially chicken, and fried rice.

Really good food at a very fair price!!! I highly recommend this place, and I prefer to dine in because of the nice atmosphere!

Really disliked the food. It had to be one of the worst Tom yum soup I've ever had. Any real Thai person would know never to put spinach in this soup....

The service was poor. Went here with two others, one got their food about 15 min prior to others. Other's rice was under cooked. At one point tried to call server for hot sauce, he responded my food was coming and walked off.

The food was only okay.
