The food here is excellent. We had the pad thai. The chicken was perfectly grilled. I had the crispy pork,it had just the perfect amount of heat. All very good and the prices were very fair.
The food we had was average at best, sorry to say. The cucumber salad was excellent. Spring rolls were flavorless and otherwise sub-par. The mixed veggies were fairly fresh and tasty. But the ramen was bland and had little in it except for over-cooked noodles and an over-boiled egg. Fried tofu was also overcooked. Music inside was too loud. Sorry to leave a somewhat negative review, but this is what we experienced. Maybe the other dishes on the menu are better.
This is the BEST Thai food I’ve had since I moved to Chicago. The owners were so genuine and kind. The service was amazing and the 5 different menu items we ordered all tasted soooooo good. Definitely check out and support this new local restaurant!
(the restaurant is not cash only despite what google says)
This place just opened recently. This is my first time. Ma and pa owned restaurant. Cozy little lace. Now, I’ve lived in the area for 35 yrs. Almost all the Thai restaurants in the area have very greasy food. This is the FIRST Thai Restaurant in the area I’ve eaten at that the food comes out perfect. The owners checked on me regularly with a smile asking if I needed anything or another drink. Asked for extra vegetables in my Red Curry beef dish, no problem. Very good for family. Will come back with more of my family very soon. They also deliver to all areas!! That is good to know! Paid Parking on Western and around corner in residential areas for free.
Nice little Thai/Ramen spot. My gf and I ordered Somtum(green papaya salad) and I got it spicy. It was so good and fresh, get it if you love spicy sweet and sour with lots of umami. We also got red curry and beef pad se ew. They were both very good. The older gentleman who served us was very nice and quick with our meal. We’ll be back for sure!
Solid place that we will order again. Tom yum soup with shrimp was punchy and delicious, Thai fried rice was really really good, and the sticky rice was flavorful but the rice was a bit undercooked.
Excellent food

Best Thai food in the area! owners are very warm and welcoming too
Perfect for a cozy and delicious dinner!
Food is quite tasty and plenty of it

Vegetable egg rolls are top notch. Decent prices too

Excellent flavors, friendly family business. Great papaya salad, pad thai and red curry.

Ordered delivery and everything was delicious. Got green curry and pork fried rice. Very flavorful and not too heavy.
Love their curry!
Cute new restaurant, very nice folks working. I got the 514 moo krob ka pao, which has crispy and delicious pork and peppers. The fried tofu is a great appetizer with a great sweet & sour dipping sauce. I'll absolutely come back to try the ramen!
Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious! We tried about 7 different things. Even the basic cucumber salad was 5/5, yum! Best Thai food in the area (and we’ve tried a lot of places!) Staff was incredibly kind.
Lovely little place in Lincoln square. Good prices, delicious veggie options. Will come back!
We got two different vegetarian noodle dishes and both were fantastic! The staff was extremely nice, attentive, and enthusiastic about their food. We will be back!
Was excited to try this place after Spoon closed. Ordered the crab rangoon, beef udon pad thai, and tofu udon pad thai. The crab rangoon to the point it should not have been served. Half of them had exploded and the inside had come out. For the two orders of udon the noodles were good, however the peanuts being used were stale. Had to scope them out and crush/add fresh ones. That made a world of a difference.
I am hoping this is new ownership growing pains and they work through this feedback. Going to hold back on going back for a few months. Best of luck to them.
I was sad to see the previous restaurant go and now I’m glad this one has taken its place. Very kind people, delicious food, quick service.
Maybe it’s what we ordered; maybe it was an off day, but the atmosphere and service was not good. I felt like they would not stop watching us; it made us feel very uncomfortable. They were nice people (and I felt bad about it, but I COULD not eat it) and it was a bad experience.
(We ordered ramen and a lot of the reviews are for the other types of things on the menu however, as ramen is literally in their name, it feels sort of crucial.)
The spring rolls were weird and gross and not the kind of spring rolls I have ever seen (the see thru rice paper with like rice noodle, tofu, veggies in it that you dip in a sauce; I would fully take responsibility for this just being my bad but the description sounded like what we thought of as spring rolls). The ramen had no flavor and literally tasted like a canned campbells chicken noodle soup noodle and the broth was like water. No seasoning at all.
I didn’t eat mine at all. I couldn’t do it. We still paid full price. I found it not great that they offered no solution, discount, or take at least mine off the bill. They commented that I did not eat it and I attempted to be nice that I did not like it, and when she asked why I kept it simple but honest, “that it doesn’t have any flavor.” My friend did eat his but he’s better at forcing down gross food than I am.
Will not return. It’s a bummer bc it is so close to my home but lucky Green Leaf Thai is close and Gorilla Sushi.
The food and service was excellent for reasonable prices. My whole family ordered different dishes and each was delicious. The restaurant was clean and peaceful:)
Delicious food!! The owners put in great effort to a quality dining experience at a reasonable price.
The food was awesome! Edamame, pot stickers, pork Ramen, and the Thai Pepper Steak. So good! Quiet and clean. Very nice and attentive service.
Great portions. The duck curry was super good.
Great new addition to the neighborhood! Just ate dinner here and enjoyed some papaya salad (perfect spice level), pad thai and chive dumplings. Plus mangos and sticky rice for dessert, of course. Everything was fresh and tasty, and plenty of options for vegetarians too - I’ll definitely be back to try their lunch special in the future.
We ordered takeout and it was so delicious. Ready in 15 minutes and it was hot when we picked it up and so fresh.
We had the red curry, crispy noodles Panang curry and potstickers.
Truly delicious and we will be going back to dine in, it seemed so peaceful!
