The interior is cozy and compact and provides a very social environment with neighboring tables within arms reach.
The owners and staff are very friendly and are excellent at providing quality service.
I'll definitely be back in the future to try more of the dishes on the menu since the two I had were flawless.

I was not expecting much when friends suggested this place for lunch. You don't expect good Thai food in a big Mexican area but I was wrong. I got the Thai beef salad and it was so good and refreshing, a big reccomendation for hot summer days. The mango sticky rice was very good too. Coworkers got typical Thai dishes (pad Thai, curry) and we're happy with food. I would say they service was a bit over eager and attentive for my taste but it's not a complaint, it's a noticing thay they are very attentive and caring.

Food has always been good but the service has changed to terrible. My coworkers and I have been buying food here for years. Never had an issue. One of my coworker ordered us food and they gave him the wrong food. He called to let them know kindly. However, the lady was really rude told him not to come back, wouldn’t remake the food, refused to give a refund and called the police when there was no problem. This was Very intentional and anti black to call the police on a black person when they did not do anything.

Ordered delivery. Wasn’t aware they have a fee if you decide to pay by credit card (found out after delivery when I saw the receipt) Delivery fee is $5.00.

Got 2 pad thai’s, the fried tofu and crab rangoon.

My biggest gripe was the crab rangoon. Hardly any filling. 1/4 of a teaspoon for a full wonton wrapper?

If I order again I’ll pay cash and avoid the crab rangoon.

This is one of the best Thai restaurants I have ever been to. The food is fresh and delicious. The basil and curry dishes are excellent here. The staff is super friendly and attentive.

I really hate to have to give this review. This place has been on point for me 300%, however, tonight was not the case. Prior to tonight I have never had an issue. The food was always delicious and piping hot and fresh. Tonight I ordered a Pinapple fried rice with beef and extra egg, and it tasted spoil. I thought that it was my palette because I was eating the ragoon with sauce and thought it may be a me thing. Nope, cleaned my palette and tried again, and it was still nasty. Told the manager, he asked how could that be when they have been cooking all day! HUH? It does not matter what you have been cooking for others all day, MY food tastes spoiled and I dont like it. I asked what kind of sauce was used to make it (that could be the issue) he responded, soy sauce, I told them this was not soy sauce I was tasting. The manager walked away not to return until we asked for the bill. He asked did I need a box for the nasty rice and I told him no, I didnt like it. He said okay, took the plate, set the bill down ( no changes were made for the nasty rice) no sweat, we paid and left fully HEARTBROKEN, because I just started telling folks about this place and bringing family. Welp, we will just have to find somewhere else to go cause we will not be back. Thank you for the delicious food during prior visits, and hope to find a place just as good!

I made a mistake in my order process, and the manager was so understanding. The food is fresh, delicious, and service was quick!

This place was an utter disappointment. The establishment is cramped, offering only a few seats in a parking lot with frustrating parking conditions. My wife, a former Thai restaurant owner from Thailand, had been keen to try this place out. Despite having to park a block away, we walked into an empty restaurant and were promptly seated. However, the experience quickly deteriorated when the owner took issue with the mug of herbal tea I brought in. He insisted I drink it quickly because outside beverages weren't allowed. His stern approach was off-putting—treating me as if I were just another loser trying to bypass purchasing drinks, rather than a potential regular customer interested in a substantial order. It’s clear this establishment caters to a clientele that doesn’t demand high standards, which is probably why the owner didn’t bother to accommodate a simple request or show basic hospitality. We decided to leave right then, and it’s fortunate we did. I refuse to support a place that prioritizes petty rules over quality service and appears content serving the riff-raff rather than anyone looking for a quality dining experience. This incident saved me from wasting a penny in a place that doesn’t value respectful treatment of customers. Oh, in the event that the owner thought I was trying to smuggle alcohol in my 32 ounce bright yellow mug that I was drinking my leftover tea in, trust me your establishment is the last place on earth that I would ever look forward to having a drink in.

The food is Americanized and too sweet for my taste, I heard that the chef wasn’t Thai but some aspects were good. Our server was very kind and spoke Thai; everything was excellent except the food which was mediocre as the Green curry is on the sweeter side, along with the pad thai. They have good larb, and soup.

The orange chicken was so delicious with great sauce and the chicken was so huge. The wait time was a decent amount. The noodles were ok but didn’t really taste that fresh. The restaurant itself could use some upgrade but the tables with the roses were so cute 😊. It’s a nice place to grab a quick bite.

If you're vegan, avoid. Was rudely told some years ago that they "don't cater to vegans," and in a recent email, they doubled down on their anti-vegan stance and claimed that animal products were "necessary" for "authentic" Thai food.

Ordered through uber eats never got the food. The driver called me to tell I had to meet her in the lobby....I told her I expected her to meet me at my door. I had previously called several times in order to ensure they had correct door # because they use there own drivers instead of uber drivers.
This is poor service.
I called the store and told them I absolutely expected them to bring it to me. The prick on the phone told me to go ahead and cancel the order.

Everything was great! We had Crab Rangoon , edamame, chicken and shrimp Pad Thai , basil fried rice , and mango sticky rice for dessert! Customer service was excellent, for being open for so long they are doing it right consistently!

Not much room for Dine- in.It was a little overpriced but great menu and taste. I loved the sauce on the side ideal.

This restaurant is much too small. Only about 6 tables almost side by side. But the food is fabulous. They also have excellent delivery service.

I’ve ordered the chicken basil for delivery at work once and loved it! Today I had the opportunity to stop in to pick up a to go order and I was greeted by the owner who was very warm and welcoming. He offered a seat, a glass of water and even remembered (from the phone conversation) to make my husband’s noodles spicy even though I forgot to ask for spicy 😬. I will definitely visit again.

Awesome little Thai place in a small strip mall on a busy intersection. Easy to miss, but definitely worth a visit. The interior is very small but each table has a fresh rose and you get excellent personal service. Food is excellent. Value is great during their lunch special and always for that matter, but you can't beat the lunch specials. All the curry's are excellent, highly recommend

What an amazing find for food lovers.. felt like soul food. The place is great not just for the food lovers but also because of the hospitality from the owner. It’s unbelievable they can stay in business without being open at lunchtimes on the weekends. I visit my parents on the weekends in the area and we often try to go here, and they’re never open.

Prices are fair for sure considering location. Main entrée was very good. The fresh spring rolls looked amazing but disappointed when it came wrapped in a flour tortilla shell rather than rice paper.. If its busy it is quite cramped.

The service provided is exceptional, with the owners being extremely friendly and attentive. Although the location is compact, it maintains a high standard of cleanliness and freshness. I particularly enjoy their delicious rice.

At first this little dingy place seemed like a take out spot, but surprisingly they have a little dining area. Problem it is extremely small. We went there a few times, and a man who seemed to be the owner/manager was quite rude. He was particular on where he wanted to sit us, as if they're where many spots. He was in general very rude. The kitchen is like in a closet, honestly I don't even know where they have room to properly maintain food. Finally, when we tried ordering out, the order was not done correctly. And ironically when we did eat there, we heard people call back saying their food order was incorrect. I mean they are literally behind you where you eat. It's just so uncomfortable. Not worth it.

The portions are such a rip off for the cost 15 dollars for a small pad Thai the curry was fine but again portions. Rather order from a Chinese restaurant and get bigger servings

Great place!! But Don’t order online. Order straight from the restaurant. I ordered online and I didn’t realize that everything is up charged 3-5 dollars. I love it here, I just didn’t know that this up charge was going on. That was kinda disappointing.

For it being a small restaurant they really try to make customers feel at home. The food is prepared and served at a reasonable time.

So far I’ve tried a couple dishes but my most favorite dish is the Yellow Thai Coconut Curry! It’s such a comfort food packed with flavors.

This is the first restaurant that has given me the chance to try Thai food and I’m so thankful for it being so close to home.

Be cautious when you order spicy food because it is spicy. No complaint from me though, I’m Mexican and I love hearing restaurants serving spicy food.

Must be a new cook because salt can't be the main ingredient! I've been buying from them for a while after switching over from butterflies on Madison and let me tell you that the rice used to look white and cooked. Now it's sticky wet and salty. The beef looks raw and both beef and chicken are paper thin.
I've so spent good money at this spot and I'm very disappointed! Today I just bought food there for the last time!

Noodles were mushy. Three small egg rolls for almost 6 bucks. Cucumber salad had corn syrup not sugar. Not again. Egg rolls had minimal filling being mostly the shell. The sauce was bland and the chicken in my dish was terribly over cooked and the noodles were mushy making me think they used a microwave on this.

I'm never moving, because living close to this place is one of my most favorite things about this city.

Nice restaurant. Welcoming people there. They do a lor of effort to make you having a good time. I like the Lunch Special option. The price is cheap but not the food. Highly recommend if you make a tour around Central av.

Was not satisfied with my take home order. I wonder if they only treat you semi nice when you eat there. Ordered the same a few days later to have my family try and it tasted as if it was micro reheated or days old. At the restaurant it tasted more freshly made. And portions for take home are way smaller.

About 2 months ago Bree added orange chicken to the menu. The first time we had it it was thick juices pieces of white meat chicken. Since that first time we have ordered 2 times in the last month and now it’s overcooked thin pieces of chicken and I mean thinner than a nugget. I’m not one to complain and want a refund for food but I do let the restaurant know when something is wrong because sometimes they don’t realize. The first time we let it slide thinking it was an off day but today it was even worse. We just called to simply inform the restaurant( not asking for anything) thinking it could be a new chef and it’s possibly gone under the radar but the manager gets on the phone and says that’s the way our customers like it. When my husband tried to explain he implied if we don’t like it we don’t need to order there. Which is definitely true 😂but wow he was so rude for NO REASON. I promise it was just a courtesy call. We aren’t picky people this chicken is now thin and because it’s so thin it’s overcooked!And to the Frank the manager some humility and kindness go along way. We won’t be eating here again but I do want to warn against the chicken. If this is just how they make it. Stay away!I attached some pictures so you can judge for yourself.

Bree Thai has become a "go-to" stop when making trips to/from Midway airport. Food is terrific. Staff is very friendly. Prices are very reasonable.

This visit included Pad Thai w/ shrimp & Massaman Curry. 10 shrimp on the Pad Thai was awesome. The curry was excellent, but the potatoes (both types) should be more generous.

I ordered the lunch special, ordered the panang curry. I was disappointed the curry was soupy/watery. I get it, it's a lunch special, only 2 small slivers of chicken. The special came with chicken noodle soup, which tasted more like noodles in water, no flavor.

Serving spoiled food. Ordered pad Thai chicken. Was completely inedible. Called and talked to the manager who was rude and told me he has been serving the same batch all day. Which is unacceptable. And there was nothing he would do. Disgusting and unprofessional. Will never be back!

I had a horrible experience there. I took my girlfriend there for dinner we sat down order food. It took a long time to get my food and my girlfriend and I had to to use the rest room and he said we couldn't. it's horrible to try and eat when you have to use the washroomso we had no where to go he said it was due to covid but he didn't mention that before we ordered and on top of that he eat wearing a mask either

Noodles were sticky and gummy!!! No mushrooms no bean sprouts!! And this comes with meal! Order 5 dishes one special order of shrimp,beef and chicken All the same Sticky and gummy!! Called restaurant to tell them about food that was thrown away!!!nasty attitude from owner!! $86.99 is a lot of money to throw away. Absolutely correct I don’t ,but that is poor business and management skills to treat any customer that way! And he will never have to worry about me after that statement again and I am a business owner of three business!! I have been a patronizing customer since 2017. So I think I know when the Quality of food Im usually serve it’s not the same as it usually get .which is great but that was not great and attitude definitely was not!!!

Excellent food, great service and very nice people. The restaurant is quite small but they will make you feel comfortable. They serve a good variety of Thai dishes. I have visited this place several times and try different dishes every time. I haven't found a dish I do not like. Do not forget to ask for Thai tea or Thai mango.

This place is amazing! I used to drive from uptown Chicago just for the Chicken Pad Thai.. I’m closer now.. thank goodness, but it’s so flavorful, you won’t stop thinking about it. I’ve brought all my siblings and now it’s our spot whenever they come visit me.

Food is always delicious. Service is always two 👍👍. When I order take out I never have to double check my bag. Orders are always right!

Love love love this place! When I first tried Bree a couple years ago with my husband, we immediately thought, “how is this our first time here”!! We were able to visit a few times, but often ordered carry out. Now during the pandemic I have been using Uber Eats to get food delivered: including Bree Thai. So here goes my story: during the summer I placed an order through Uber Eats, upon receiving my order I noticed I didn’t get rice to go with my Chicken Basil. I was so bummed. I reported it and immediately received a note from the owner for Bree and said he would make it up! He sure did when a couple days ago I decided to treat my family to Thai and of course Bree came in mind and even though it was a couple months after what Frank said, he indeed still made sure I got my Chicken Basil (w/ rice) and even surprised me with a smoothie— which was delicious! My love for this place continues. If you haven’t tried them, please do. Quality food, with a personal approach to customer service which is hard to find these days!

Great food! My family has ordered many dishes, from the fried rice to their curry dishes, and every single one is remarkable. Their thai iced tea is amazing too.

The food and service are exceptional. My favorite dishes are chicken basil and pad Thai. If you’re in the mood for dessert, you should try the mango sticky rice.

This restaurant is a great place to eat! My wife and I love it!
