Diner Review №1

So many things. When I first walked in I could smell fish. Not good. The service was like a Denny's. Rush in and out. And I did not have a consistent waiter/waitress.
I got a menu that was grimy and sticky. I was given a dirty spoon and fork but no chop sticks. I ordered sashimi and nigirl from waitress A. I told her I'll start with this. I had to ask for chopsticks from a different lady. A different guy delivered my food. However, he left so fast and I then noticed I did not have soy sauce or the dipping bowl. I sat there trying to make eye contact. After five minutes I was able to flag down someone. Thr salmon was a low grade, thin and falling apart. The spring rolls were more like lettuce rolls.
I finished my sake and wanted another one, but no service check ins at my table. Ok. So I finished my dinner. The staff was busy prepping for the next day by taking out the silverware from the silverware basket and rolling them in napkins. I was ASTONISHED at the LACK OF HYGIENE! My waitress was pulling out spoons and forks from the dishwasher bucket then holding the utensils by the parts we put on our food and in the mouth!! Moments before I saw the lady who was rolling, grab three glasses off the table beside me, by placing her fingers on the inside of the glasses. I highly doubt they all went to the kitchen and thoroughly washed their hands before handling clean utensils. So I wait and wait. Waitress B comes to my table to clear it, asking me if I wanted anything else. I told her I wanted a sake a while back but no one came over. Too late now. And for those of you who tip based on their suggestions, you are tipping on the tax too! Do your math.

Delicious pineapple fried rice & kind staff. My sister loved the vegetable rolls too!

Diner Review №3

I had the chicken pineapple fried rice. It was absolutely delectable. The lady who took care of me was very attentive and kind. I will definitely be going back.

Diner Review №4

I liked the Corn Korokke as an alternative vegetarian appetizer. It was a good texture, flavor was a little plain, but it paired well with some of the spicier and more flavorful fare.

Tom Kha soup was the right balance of sweet and spicy for me. Not a huge fan of the cherry tomatoes in the soup but they were very fresh.

Basil Fried Rice was excellent. Great spice level, the jalapeno was a great addition to this dish.

Decor is unassuming but cozy. I thought the candles and plants were a thoughtful addition that added to the vibe.

Server was very welcoming and pleasant.

Diner Review №5

This place is ALWAYSSSSS a 10. We have been coming to KIN for years, food is always fresh, the vibe is relaxing, intimate you'll love it!!!

Diner Review №6

Small little place on the less optimal side of Milwaukee Ashland split. Service was incredible, respectful and efficient. This place is BYOB, they gave us an ice bucket for our wine and wine glasses. Got a variety of dishes, the Pad Kee Mao and Salmon Carpacio was especially tasty. This restaurant would be crowded if it weren't for the location. Thank you to the staff and owner for a wonderful experience.

Diner Review №7

My go-to spot for Thai takeout! Good sized portions as well.

Diner Review №8

I have been here multiple times, as well as ordered through delivery apps. I am not sure why I have not reviewed this place sooner because I LOVE IT. I'm obsessed with their Veggies Crunch sushi, Thai Tea, and enjoy their Corn Korokke, Veggie Rolls, Tempura Apps, and Miso Soup as appetizers. I've brought others who have had Garlic Chicken, Chicken Katsu, Ramen and other sushi options and they all loved it. Totally recommend this place. There is a woman who serves us who is always very kind and attentive and I hope I learn her name eventually because she makes the experience better as well!

Diner Review №10

What a pleasant surprise! We’re visiting Chicago and our daughter chose this restaurant for dinner tonight. She orders from here often. We had a great experience. The owner is warm and friendly, the service was excellent, the bathrooms clean and the food delicious! It’s a small casual place with a nice menu that includes vegan and vegetarian choices. We tried every section of the menu and all seven of us enjoyed everything. They even surprised us with mochi and a candle for my birthday.
Thanks for a nice birthday dinner Kin Sushi and Thai! See you again soon we hope.

Diner Review №11

Amazing sake don, great service

Diner Review №12

Been ordering here for 6 years and honestly best Thai in the city!!

Diner Review №13

Absolutely wonderful meal. The sushi was everything and more that I was craving. Crab Rangoon was also 10/10.

Service was extremely fast. Will definitely be coming back.

Diner Review №14

This is our favorite restaurant when we’re in the mood for some sushi, so like once a week. Love that it’s family-owned/Mom and Pop style shop and that we can walk here. We’re always greeted and welcomed and the food is always out quickly and delicious.

We usually order 2 miso soups, Shumai, and 3 rolls: spicy Tuna, spicy scallop and the shrimp tempura. I’ve also had the chicken katsu which was amazing. Next time, I want to try the tonkatsu ramen.

it’s BYOB but there’s a bodega next door for some Sapporo or your preferred beverage.

5/5 stars all day.

Diner Review №15

Delicious! The lunch special is a great deal. Service is nice and friendly.

Diner Review №16

A great find for both Sushi and Thai food! I visited this place for the first time with friends and absolutely loved it. The ambience is beautiful, with plenty of plants creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was welcoming and attentive. There lots of variety options on the menu, all at an affordable price with good portion sizes. We tried the cucumber salad and Philadelphia in apprtizers, volcano and sunrise sushis in addition to Kee Mao, all of which were delicious! Definitely a spot worth revisiting if you're craving a mix of fresh sushi and flavorful Thai dishes.

Diner Review №17

Very quiet restaurant. Good portion sizes. The soft shell crab was tasty.

LOVE Kin Sushi! The food is ALWAYS delicious, fresh and delightful! Service is ALWAYS impeccable and the atmosphere is ALWAYS perfect. One of my closest friends moved away from Chicago and this is one of our regular stops when she's in town (which is often). 😊

Diner Review №23

Service is so so nice! We really enjoyed the cashew chicken. The green curry has a spicy kick to it, but I personally didn’t enjoy the texture of the vegetables. The sushi was also great!

Diner Review №24

Overall Thoughts: This is a solid neighborhood spot for relatively affordable Thai and sushi— you can satisfy 2 cravings at once. I’d say both the Thai and sushi flavors weren’t as robust or vibrant as I would’ve liked, but I still enjoyed the meal. The staff were super sweet and the vibe inside is dark and intimate.

Food I tried:
- Sushi (4.2/5): una q roll, dynamite roll, sunny roll
- Green Curry (4.1/5)
- Duck Curry (4.2/5)
- Pad See Ew (4.3/5)
- Corn Korokke (4.1/5)
- Soft Shelled Crab (4.3/5)

Diner Review №25

delicious meal here small little spot but a great find for great prices

Diner Review №26

Excellent sushi and sashimi really enjoyed it

Diner Review №27

We had the fried rice and red curry while taking a break for lunch and the food was by far the most affordable in the area, the portions were a good size and the taste was great.

Diner Review №28

I was so impressed by this place! Our server was extremely attentive and kind. She made the experience even better. I ordered the dragon roll which was the BEST spider roll I have ever had. I also had the woo sen noodles which was delish! My friend ordered the spider roll which she loved as well as Tom Kha soup and I tried some as well. Omg so good. I’ll be back!

Diner Review №29

Great food and service! A relaxing atmosphere with great lunch specials. A lowkey spot that I will be going back too.

Diner Review №30

Their Pad See U is absolutely to die for. One of the best I've ever had. Service was so attentive and kind, and their prices are great. I highly recommend.

Diner Review №31

Great lunch special and delicious Thai curries.

Diner Review №32

This is the only place I will order Thai curry from anymore. The more I try curry from other restaurants - the more I like this place. So many other places have let me down - but never kin sushi.

Diner Review №33

I go here almost every week and I love their pad Thai and appetizers!! I’m sure the rest of the menu is fantastic but I’m addicted to their delicious pad Thai. The service is so nice and always makes me feel like family. On weeknights it’s seldom my second choice! My favorite restaurant!

Diner Review №34

Me dio chorro la comida
The food gave me a gush

Diner Review №35

Diner Review №36

Diner Review №37

Very good Thai food I tried to order from this restaurant every time I’m in the city however I have had better peanut sauces from other Thai restaurant. The only negative thing from the restaurant is I usually order takeout through delivery and one time an item that I ordered was very soggy so I called the restaurant to let them know and they said that that is usual with takeout, and that they were only going to refund me this one time, even though that is not the case when it comes to dining in or taking out, the food should never be soggy that you cannot even eat it

Diner Review №38

Must go for right outside of Chicago city center. Amazing rolls and soup and service. Family owned. Tons and tons of carry out orders. A well known best kept secret. Highly recommend miluwakee roll, rock n roll roll and the dynamite roll. Also the Tom yum was life saving. Highly highly recommend

Diner Review №39

Diner Review №40

Delicious food and great atmosphere

Diner Review №41

Diner Review №42

Kin Sushi and Thai has a black and gold interior aesthetic. While beautiful at first glance, more attention to detail could be put into the interior design. Service is prompt, respectful, and professional. The food flavors are somewhat muted and calm however it is apparent that quality ingredients are used.

Diner Review №44

great lunch

Diner Review №45

I usually don't leave reviews here at restaurants, but I will say my group of friends and I enjoyed this location. The waitress was very friendly and kind, giving the place a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy. The vibe inside felt really comforting along with some modernness background. We went during lunch time hours and I have to say, the lunch special offers a really great variety of options to choose from and with it priced at $19.95, I would say that is worth it! Would recommend to give this place a shot if you happen to not check your intended food spot's hours beforehand (so glad we found this)!

Diner Review №46

Diner Review №74

Diner Review №75

The food was awesome. Parking is horrific.

Diner Review №76

Diner Review №77

Best Thai food in Chicago

Diner Review №78

The Thai food at this place is amazing!! The server is Thai and very nice! The environment is neat! I ordered the second last option under curry with Rati. Curry was so authentic and Rati tasted so great! I didn’t have that much chance to try Rati, but I am sure not every Thai restaurant would provide that. The Thai tea without ice came with a huge size. This taste of Thai food doesn’t exist on every neighborhood at Chicago. I bet. This is worth a try for everyone!!!

Date night or family night..delicious!!!

Diner Review №85

Great food and good value. The people working there are also very nice. This is starting to become my go to thai spot

Diner Review №86

We had a great time, the food was ok.

Diner Review №87

The atmosphere and food were good. The restaurant has seen better days. Not shabby chic, just a wee bit rough around the edges. The food was quite good. We had an array of appetizers, everyone got a different entree as well: 6 people with apps, and a tip for $200 was quite the bargain. I wouldn't bring a first date here, but friends on a budget? Yes I would.

Diner Review №92

Diner Review №93

This is my new favorite Thai place in the city. Authentic flavors, and they actually know how to make their food spicy.

Diner Review №94

We had two sushi rolls + dumplings and an entree all was delicious.

Diner Review №95

Been ordering sushi here for years, delivers fast and solid sushi. (For a while, I ordered so much that they started throwing in edamame from time to time, which was a nice touch.) They definitely recognize good customers.

This isn't your super high end place, but if you want solid sushi, you can't go wrong with these guys.

Diner Review №96

Diner Review №97

Diner Review №98

Best sushi and sashimi we've ever had. Amazing food and excellent service. Definitely coming back here again.

Great place which allows you to BYOB.. good food options & taste

Diner Review №100

Diner Review №101

Everything was absolutely delicious. I took my niece here and she ordered the baby octopus and I tried it and it was really good. I ordered a sushi roll and Crab Rangoon and everything was absolutely perfect. Great service, clean, and nice atmosphere.

Diner Review №102

Horrible service and the lady who receives the call is rude. Had to wait for more than 45 min

Diner Review №103

Diner Review №104

Visiting from out of town, hands down the best sushi I’ve had! Reasonable prices, large variety of specialty rolls, and great service.

Diner Review №105

I am very undecided on this restaurant. The food was well prepared and delicious. I was meeting a friend for lunch in the park, I specifically requested utensils....none included. Mussaman curry isn't finger food. Considering there are 3 or 4 asian places all along Milwaukee just left me disapointed

Diner Review №106

Nice ambiance here. I ordered the Pad Thai after seeing it praised in reviews. It's good, but not great. 7/10. I feel I could make a similar meal at home.

Diner Review №107

Obnoxious lady at the reception. Extremely ill mannered... I would like to give negative ratings if possible... PATHETIC BEHAVIOR...

Diner Review №108

Quaint and delicious

Diner Review №109

Diner Review №110

Great little byob sushi and Thai spot. Sushi is affordable and good. Lots of options for dishes. We also tried the fried rice and pad see ew. Both were very tasty. We didn’t love the baby octopus but we took a chance on it. Texture was too much for us. But other than that everything else was great.

Diner Review №111

Food and service was great! Very attentive and polite staff, and food came out in a timely manner. A bit far away from the main attractions of the city, but def worth the trip! Would come again for the monster roll.

Diner Review №112

It was my first time trying pad Thai and it was delicious! The sumo roll was really good. Highly recommend!

Diner Review №113

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner and we had a really great experience! The staff were so friendly and the food didn't take long to come out. We got a few items on the menu and the food tasted great! Besides the food, we also got Thai Tea and Thai Coffee, highly recommended!

Diner Review №114

Diner Review №115

Had a large party here and the service/atmosphere were excellent. Food was incredible and multiple people from the party commented on how much they enjoyed it/will be recommending this to their friends!

Diner Review №116

Diner Review №117

Kin Sushi & Thai has delicious food where you can taste the freshness. The crab Rangoons and takoyaki came in nice and warm. I was very impressed with the perfect amount of sauce they added on the takoyaki. Usually other locations put way too much that you can’t even enjoy. My favorite part was the rainbow sushi. They were a pretty decent size and tasted so good definitely recommend it and it’s pretty affordable. They also have some great deals for lunch.

Diner Review №118

Affordable and yummy neighborhood spot. You MUST try the pad thai. Prices are generally under $15 with appetizers under $10. The service was attentive and everyone was friendly. Truly an enjoyable dining experience!

Diner Review №119

Diner Review №120

Kin is such a fun little hidden gem! It’s the perfect casual lunch spot!! The sushi was so delicious and fresh! My favorite was the Milwaukee Roll! The service was great.

Diner Review №121

Amazing and accommodating service, and the food was fresh and delicious as usual! The Emerald Dragon and Crab Rangoon are my favorites and the best sushi/crab rangoon in Chicago! Will definitely be back, I have recommended and raved about Kin many times before to my family and friends, and encouraged other Chicago influencers to try as well. Will definitely stop by again soon!

Diner Review №122

Diner Review №124

Go for the lunch deal! It's the best lunch deal in the city and runs from 11-4pm. Sushi is really good too and reasonably priced compared to other sushi spots.

Diner Review №125

I enjoyed my experience at Kin Sushi! We tried their Kin Sushi Combo and the Katsu entree. Everything is freshly made to order. If you like sweet drinks, make sure to also try their Thai ice tea. Great sushi spot if you’re in Noble Square.

Diner Review №126

Diner Review №127

Diner Review №128

My new sushi spot! Kin sushi is a BYOB sushi & Thai spot with a variety of delicious rolls & Thai classics! I dined in but there were a ton of take out orders coming out the whole time I was there.

I ordered the rock & roll, the sunny roll and my two classics - the California roll and spicy tuna. The presentation of the rolls was amazing with all the sauces on the plate! Each roll was better than the last and super fresh & flavorful! I was also impressed how decently priced everything was! On top of being BYOB which is a huge selling point for me, I got 4 rolls for under $50!

Diner Review №129

the food here was so so good. Service was so quick & helpful too! Love the variety of options... would 100% eat here again & again!

Diner Review №130

Diner Review №131

Pretty spot for indoor dining in Wicker Park. Thai+Sushi served and prepared with a lot of care. We thought the plating was mesmerizing and enhanced our dining experience. Service was great and you just can’t beat a $12 delicious lunch with wholesome portions.

Diner Review №132

I dined into Kin Sushi & it was amazing! Reasonably priced, friendly staff & great food! Definitely recommend and I will be back!

Diner Review №133

Spicy tuna roll was delicious! Chicken Teriyaki was well prepared.

Diner Review №134

This restaurant is an amazing casual sit down sushi choice within walking distance to the blue line Ashland stop. I will definitely come back again after having dinner with my family. Loved it 🙂

Diner Review №135

Diner Review №136

Diner Review №137

Kin Sushi is a great spot for great priced sushi and Thai food. We loved all of our noodle dishes and we were both stuffed and ended up with leftovers after only spending $50!

Diner Review №138

Kin Sushi & Thai has some of the best sushi in Chicago. The setting is very casual and cozy, and also BYOB. I recommend ordering the Kin Sushi Deluxe board. It comes with a chef’s choice and & a rainbow roll. The Chicken Phad Thai, eggrolls, and crab Rangoon were so good!! Definitaly order the Mochi Ice Cream.

Diner Review №139

We stumbled upon this restaurant and were blown away. The food is delicious and reasonably priced! I loved getting a mix of Thai food and sushi. The sushi platter was soooo good! Definitely worth checking out and it’s a BYOB.

Diner Review №140

Diner Review №141

The food was delicious and fresh

Diner Review №142

Love the sushi and the thai iced tea coffee here! Super affordable spot in Chicago. We loved everything we had here! Will definitely be back.

Diner Review №143

Diner Review №144

There are a number of "neighborhood" sushi and Thai places in Chicago, but not all of them are that good. Some are just a "Jack of all trades, but a master at none". Worth just ok food. Kin Sushi & Thai Cuisine is one of the good ones. First, I like that they have a large menu and large number of dishes. On the night I went, I did not try their Thai food, but I'm looking forward to going back to try it. Second, their food is very good. I ordered the takoyaki as an appetizer, the tonkatsu ramen, miso soup, Black Peal roll, and Kin Sushi Combo. I especially liked their sushi. The Black Pearl roll to was very good and I would highly recommend it. Next, the sushi combo was great. I am lover of tuna sushi and I judge all sushi places on how they do tuna nagiri. The tuna is here is great and you should order it. Third, for a city restaurant parking is great. While they do not have a parking lot, street parking is very plentiful. I went on weekday night at around 6:00 pm and I have no issue getting a free parking spot. In fact, I park right a across the street on Milwaukee avenue.

If you are looking for a sushi or ramen spot in the Noble Squire or should Bucktown area I would highly recommend Kin Sushi and Thai i Cuisine.

Diner Review №145

This place is the perfect date night restaurant. The food is the perfect combination of flavor and finesse. I love asian food and it's nice to have both Thai and Japanese options. They have a great list of winter menu options that's perfect for cold weather. Also, it's BYOB which is amazing!

Diner Review №146

Definitely some of the best sushi in Chicago! I dined in and tried some of the sushi rolls, Thai food, and apps and thoroughly enjoyed everything. The sushi was better than any I’ve had in the city - even sushi that I’ve spent 3x the price on! This spot is affordable and authentic. I recommend the tiger roll - fresh and delicious. I also loved the fresh rolls for an appetizer - refreshing and healthy, as well as the pad Thai which lasted me 3 servings.

This is a great spot to takeout from, but the indoor dining area is cozy as well. This spot doesn’t have any frills, it’s more casual and laid back which makes for a relaxing visit. Definitely a hidden neighborhood gem! It’s also BYOB so keep that in mind! I had green tea which they continuously refilled to stay hot.

Overall, great value for the prices. (Ex. A specialty roll is around $15, average app looked about $8). If you’re looking for a simple, cozy, and delicious sushi/Thai place with big portions, this is the perfect spot to go!!

Diner Review №147

Prices were reasonable and the food definitely was better than most sushi spots. Their Thai Iced coffee is extremely delicious and be sure to get their specials!

Diner Review №148

Everything from sushi to starters to main course were really yummy!

Diner Review №149

A place that has both sushi and Thai? This place knows Asian Fusion Food. Their dynamite and Milwaukee rolls are to die for but with a kick! Loved their green curry and the shrimp shumai is a must. Great spot to dine in as it’s loungy but also delivery and takeout! I will go back and back!

Diner Review №150

Diner Review №151

I loved Kin Sushi! The restaurant is located in Noble Square and I’m sad I’m just now discovering it. The food was so good! I ordered the pineapple fried rice with shrimp and a few sushi rolls. They are BYOB unfortunately I didn’t bring any wine this time but I will be back! Please check this place out any day of the week for dinner or lunch, you won’t be disappointed. Everything I tried, I liked. Enjoy.

Diner Review №152

Diner Review №153

Not something I would go out of my way for but it was decent. Got the volcano roll and salmon carpaccio. The volcano roll (which my friend ordered) was pretty spicy and definitely very deep fried. The salmon on the carpaccio was good but the sauce threw it off. It was like some ponzu/sesame oil sauce and I wasn't feeling it.

I stopped here for an early dinner bite because I was working nearby but I probably won't be coming back. The menu items also seemed a bit pricey

Diner Review №154

Diner Review №155

Diner Review №156

Great sushi. The corn fritter things are amazing. Get extra chili sauce for them.

Diner Review №157

Actually pretty good. Service was quick and polite. We only got sushi and a few apps all good. I’ve gotten sushi from several places in the neighborhood and would say this is probably one of the best.

Diner Review №158

Discovered this delicious restaurant in the less busy part of Milwaukee Avenue in Wicker Park. It’s an Asian fusion concept with an enormous menu that feeds everyone from vegetarian to seafood to meat eater. Each dish we ordered was so filled with flavor and the presentation was beautiful. Even the egg rolls tasted of vegetables and not a fried flavor. The variety of Maki rolls is extensive. We tried the Milwaukee and Dragon rolls. Then had to try the sweet potato roll which was perfect for this time of year. Also ordered shrimp Rama which was so good! Comfort food comes to mind. Lots of fresh vegetables. Highly recommend ordering the papaya salad which was so fresh with a good crunch as well as salty peanuts. Delish.

If you are a sushi and Thai food fan, this will become your new favorite place. They offer dine in, take out, delivery and catering. Go check them out. You will be glad you did.

Diner Review №159

So happy I finally found my go to for sushi and Thai in Chicago!

Kin sushi and Thai is an Asian fusion restaurant specializing in Thai and Japanese cuisine. They are available for dine in, take out, delivery, and catering.

I ordered the Thai iced coffee, vegetable egg roll, fresh rolls, papaya salad, spicy basil chicken, ama ebi, sweet potato roll, tiger rolls, Milwaukee roll, and Mochi ice cream, and wow my mind was blown! Everything is so fresh and flavorful I literally loved everything!

The staff was so nice and friendly too. Very helpful with recommendations and very attentive when needed.

I can’t wait to come back with friends and family because I know they will love it here too! I will definitely be a regular here from now on!

Diner Review №160

We are always trying different places and this one is a good from our experience. We had appetizers, signature rolls, curry and noodles. Doordash was super fast so everything was hot. It was a late meal. The Milwaukee roll was pretty legit.

Nice job Kin!

Diner Review №161

I've ordered carryout twice from them. Order always comes to the door hot and tasting great. I order Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) at nearly every Thai restaurant that I go to and this is my favorite in the city so far. Portion sizes are generous. The sushi tasted fresh and were well rolled.

Diner Review №162

Diner Review №163

The food was good as expected

Diner Review №164

Love there egg roles !

Diner Review №165

Basic Asian food, service could have been better. Pad see ew noodles were not fresh but the papaya salad was decent.

Diner Review №166

Thoroughly enjoyed the lunch special in a rainy early afternoon on a quiet weekday. Clean and tastefully decorated with plants. The staff was attentive in a polite and nonintrusive way. Food was delicious: one could tell it’s freshly sourced. The portion is generous and for one person it’s more than enough.

Diner Review №167

Terrible service.

Diner Review №168

Great place quiet and friendly. Would come here again but 4 stars for being sushi just like every other sushi thai fusion places.

Diner Review №169

Diner Review №170

Consistently good fresh food.

Diner Review №171

Thai was flavorless, maybe sushi will be better.

Diner Review №172

I was not impressed by the service. The sushi wasn't that impressive either.

Diner Review №173

5 stars across the board. Can’t say enough good things about this place! Where to start!! BYOB, amazing service and atmosphere, amazing food and prices. Some of the best quality fish / sushi I’ve had in the city and the portions were incredible. Love the menu and a very large variety to please any palette.

Thank you for giving me my new go to spot!!!

Diner Review №184

Diner Review №185

Best Tom Yum Soup in the city! I think that one of the worst parts about ordering Tom Yum is that there’s so much waste involved with the broth. By the time you’re finished you have a bowl full of lemon grass stalks and wasted chili pod casings. This is not the case- chunks of fresh mushrooms and tomatoes and shrimp were abundant and the taste was spot on! Thank you for a wonderful meal!

Take out today and super BIG dissapointing food. This place dropped from 4* to 2*!!! Terrible tasteless food-- all 3 dishes. I understand, we are all under pressure now, but GUYS.....those dishes were awful! Sad!

Hit and miss place. It seems to me that the most effort is being invested into the take out business.

Their fried salmon roll might be the best thing I've eaten

I've been looking forward to ordering from Kin these last few weeks and I finally pulled the trigger today for lunch, but it honestly just didn't live up to my expectations.

I was craving sushi and got the Philly Roll, which was decent for what a Philly Roll is. The Pad Thai, which is one of my all-time favorite dishes, was a major letdown. The noodles were really dry and sticking, and there wasn't enough flavor. Maybe give us a few more lime slices than one.. I still finished it, but I'll pass on it next time if I order from here. The Pad See Ew had the same issue regarding wetness. On the plus side, the Egg rolls were pretty good!

I know this is a picture of Popeyes but I got their new chicken sandwich while waiting for my Mom take out order. Kin is pretty great....

I just picked up my food, sushi combo. Found no miso soup after arriving home (didn't check since stapled). Called and they DID NOT APOLOGIZE but asking me to come and pick it up. What??
I guess it was common for them to miss the portion of food (can see from other reviews), and it's not a big deal for them.

Sushi was okay. nothing special/different.
Never ordering again.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff, pretty good food, never a wait or too busy.
