Family owned Thai bistro specializing freestyle stirfry. Seafood options and vegetarian/vegan friendly options available. Full bar serving beer, wine, mixed drinks.
Looooooved it here! 10/10.
Food was spectacular. Large portions and extremely flavorful. I got the red curry with chicken and the Thai fried with chicken. Both were the best Thai meals I’ve had.
Service was also wonderful. Super nice and attentive but too much, just the right amount of solo time.
I came hy myself on a Friday night and dined on the outside patio. It’s so cute outside with the string lights.
IN RESPONSE TO THE BUG SITUATION BELOW. For some reason google reviews won’t let me respond to you @Bodhi Thai Owner. However, I don’t understand why I would need a verified account to share my experience. These are just my personal email accounts. I’m not a food critic just a regular patron who decided to order Bohdi thai. I ordered carry out from you last night and it came sealed and stapled from your store. The likelihood of a stinkbug or whatever kind of bug you’ve identified walking through a stapled bag, past 2 other containers of food, and into the sealed container of Pad See Ewe at the bottom of the bag before the bug swam through the noodles and sauce, twirled around, and then died in the dish for me to find him in my mouth is VERY LOW. Please try that with anyone else. I ordered from Bodhi thai because the food looked good, not because I planned to come and leave a bad review for a planted bug. Supporting small businesses is so risky because instead of taking accountability for YOUR BUG, you opted to find a way to blame me. I hope anyone who’s contemplating eating at Bodhi thai thinks long and hard and comes prepared to inspect every noodle and grain of rice because they sure won’t. Maybe leave a note specifying *No bugs please* with your order to make sure they leave them out of your dish. I’ve attached more pictures of your bug and my full order below. Anyone else reading this exchange, BEWARE. You could have solved this by taking accountability for the mistake and offering an apology. Not sure how you can rectify MY situation because I will never order from here again. A bug in my mouth is traumatizing to say the least since bugs aren’t a part of my diet. Horrible food and customer service.
Love it here!! It’s our go to Thai restaurant in the area. Waiters/waitresses are all so kind. Large portions for a reasonable amount. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options!
Great location and definitely some of the best Thia food in the area! I had the Thia curry with tofu and was blown away. The flavor, consistency, and heat was spot on. Couldn’t be happier with serving size either. Also had the veggie egg rolls which were very good as well. Will definitely be back for the curry again, haven’t found anything like it around here.
We love Bodhi Thai. We order from here almost once a week. It really is our go to spot for take out. The staff is extremely friendly and our order is always ready in about 20 minutes. Some of our favorite dishes are the Panang curry with beef and the cashew chicken. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!
I've ordered from this place, back to back. They have really good food. I ordered the pad woo seen and pad thai noodles. Very tasteful and I ❤️ it. This is my new best place.
Order the Gui Chives dumplings- they are a flavor and texture sensation! This place has quickly become our favorite Thai place
Love all their curries, lots of great vegetarian options. Usually get pick up or delivery and it’s delicious.
Food is good.
LOVE

Good Thai food, thank you
I’ve been here many times! The food is excellent and the service is great! Highly recommend!
Great food in a calm atmosphere. I love everything on the menu and love to explore their specials
I’ve ordered from Bodhi for a few years now; I always order the same thing. I order the Basil Fried Rice with added tofu. I have found none better elsewhere.
On my recent visit, I tried something new the Red Curry and the Green Curry; both delicious. Now I have a new dish to put in rotation.
Bodhi is likely to be my favorite Thai restaurant in the United States.
Looooooved it here! 10/10.

My pick for best Thai in the area. The crab Rangoon is heavenly, and a level 3 heat on the Thai red curry will just start to moisten your forehead, unless you are a capsaicin junkie, in which case nothing here will give you give you an endorphin high.
Best Tom yum soup and sweet potato fritters I’ve had
Best Thai food ever!
This place was amazing! Everyone at our table was happy with their meal - from the Masamun curry to the pad Thai and pad see ewe! Pretty reasonably priced too. We fed 4 adults for less than $100
I ordered online and they couldn’t find my order but I was still charged. Do not order online here.
Showed up during the lunch hours (11-3, I think). They have a lunch menu with several choices and you get a bowl of soup and small appetizer. I asked for "very spicy: Thai hot, not American hot" but the waiter admitted to me that they held back. Lame. I'll be heading back there for sure. Next time I'm hoping to at least have a sniffle or something. Was hoping to clear my sinuses! The food was very tasty and just the right amount for lunch. And the dining atmosphere was nice. Good lighting. Quiet and pleasant background music. Friendly waiter. Overall, the place was very good and pricing was reasonable.
Delicious food and great service.
food has been lacking lots of flavor especially the tofu when you bite down on it, it’s like rubber!
Pad woon sen was delicious and the service was amazing.
This place had the best Thai food ever. I love the pad won Sen.
Great Thai spot, really loved the Tom Kha soup, and the service was phenomenal. Nice relaxing atmosphere too, great overall experience.
Love the shrimp rice!
What a great place with pleasant atmosphere friendly servers and delicious food with tons of options. Prices are also very reasonable.

Celebrating the move of my young friends to their new house we order from here as we were all hungry after getting the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen usable for their first night at their house.
Really surprised in a good way!!
Fast delivery, good food, and plenty.
We shared Pot Stickers Red Curry Pad Thai Basil Noodles Fresh Spring Roll Lard Na Small White Rice and some other delicious dishes. Sorry, I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures.
Everything was delicious. My friends will be ordering form here more often.
This is one of the best thai offerings in the area. As an Oak Parker, I don't think of Roosevelt Rd. Bodhi enough. That's a mistake. The various appetizers, fish, seafood and Asian simplicity make this a stand out. I like the soups very much
Oh my gosh! The food is incredible! I love their fried pork rice with the Chinese sausage. I usually get two so I can have left overs for lunch for a few days!
Just as great as I remembered. I ate here 10 years ago often then I moved, now that I'm back in Chicago it's worth the drive from the Southside! Service awesome, good hot and seasoned perfectly. Basil fried rice, crab Rangoon, pot stickers, pad Thai and ginger wings are staples. I hope this place never closes! I wish the take out on 18th was still there but maybe another location will pop up in the future. Til then I'm going to keep taking the 45 minute ride to Berwyn, it's just that good and the service and quickness you receive such delicious food is unmatched.
La comida es muy buena
The food is always delicious and they have a lot of unique dishes and daily specials. But the dining room smells so strongly of hospital grade cleaning products, it's hard to smell anything else.
love to come here to eat, the vegetarian options are great.
Great food. Great service.
I order to go 3 items
and they did not give it to me any napkins or spoon or fork
Chicken Satay and penaut sauce where very tasty but spicy beef salad was not
Beef was to chewy not tender and all salad was avarge
I order also chicken tom yum but this soup was avarge taste to sweet and not spicy at all and I order spicy
Overall after spending 37$ I recive avarge taste food
Great Thai food. Family enjoyed
I order from here regularly and they always prepared my meals as requested. Their curries, noodles, and fried rices are great.
Very friendly staff, amazing food, and nice atmosphere.
The food here is so fresh and delicious, takeout or dine in.
it's really hard to find a decent Thai restaurant in Chicago/IL. coming from Seattle/Cali where we have delicious Asian cuisine on every corner - it's been a bit of a shock to see how mediocre it is here, but not Bodhi Thai! this place is really good and does it right. the curries are delicious and the basil noodles with veggies are always a hit. the food is consistently done well. the wait times can vary, but that's not a problem for me. we come from midway just to get our meals here because lord knows there's nothing near us like that. give Bodhi Thai your money!
This is our go-to place to order Thai for delivery and we love it! The delivery is always super fast and the food is delicious.
So they do this thing that when you don't come together as one they won't seat whoever comes first. So my girlfriend had to wait for me to get there before she could sit. Luckily I wasn't too late. Honestly I was very disappointed 😞. I love love Thai food and this was nothing like I had had before. Mai Tai was beautifully strong, the sunset squid which cost 10.95 I felt was basically tasteless and it was cold. Not even salt! That was such a waste for me. We opted for the lunch menu which is 11.95 ( soup of the day, entree and appetiser). For the soup, I felt like I was just eating leftover rice reconstructed with broth of some kind. I had the beef pad See Ew. It was lukewarm and very sour. The only thing that made it bearable was the chili sauce that came along with it. It literally left a bad taste in my mouth. The vegetable rolls were 10% veggies of some kind and like 90% pastry. That was the only perfectly heated food I ate. My friend said her potstickers were good but her rice with chicken and lemon grass left a lot to be desired! I'm not sure I would go back but it's in my new neighbourhood so you never know.
Everything at Bohdi is delicious, their thai iced coffe, spicy fried rice with beef or chicken, summer rolls! Their whole menu is super good.
Great spot !
One of the best Thai restaurants in Chicagoland. The menu has all of the classic Thai restaurant staples, plus many additional sides and speciality dishes which are all fantastic. Everything was made with fresh ingredients and perfectly prepared.
My favorite Thai restaurant. Food is excellent, service is always very good! Very clean place, fresh ingredients, and awesome flavor. Consistent dishes between visits.
My go to place since 2018 that I first went. Did I mention they also do private events?
This place is a must go, specially if you already enjoy Thai food.
This is the best Thai food I have ever had and I LOVE Thai food. Also, the staff is extremely friendly and the prices are very reasonable.
I've been coming here for severals years. I get a delicious meal everytime ( ☆∀☆)
Absolutely fabulous.
Bodhi is a very nice hidden gem. We wanted Thai and to our surprise we received what we wanted and then some! Pot Stickers, Rice Soup, Spicy Beef Salad, Pad Thai, Spicy Bail Leaves w/ Beef were amazing. Parking can be a little challenging. Service can be slow at times (hit or miss) as we have gone twice.
I pass this place on my way home from work often and we altrays do pick up. Some of the best Thai food I've had. Beautiful establishment and the food is always hot.
Absolutely delicious! Have ordered twice so far, getting different things each time and each has been incredibly flavorful. Def recommend.
Solid Thai food. Nice staff. The masman curry is a bit too sweet for me, but still good. The basil noodles were good, but I like extra basil. Would come back.
I hate to disparage a small business. They charge a $10 corkage fee on byob which is fine but since I brought a cheap bottle i decided to just order off the menu instead. They brought the $30 menu bottle to the table and DID NOT OPEN IT. The food was not good. The sunset squid was insanely inedible. 3 1/2 scallops quarter sized scallops in an entree. Shrimp had probably been cooked when it was frozen as it was mushy on the outside and tough on the inside. Very disappointing as this was a Friday night birthday dinner.
Food was excellent, fresh and tasty definitely will go back.
Chicken Satay🔥
Great passion revealed in inspired recipes.
We've ordered takeout before but not dined in. It was great!
4 of us went in on a late lunch (3pm). The server was courteous and the it seemed like a family run business. All the dishes we ordered came out in quick succession and were all uniquely tasty. They got our Veggie orders wrong but corrected it upon mentioning it..
Food was excellent, fresh and tasty definitely will go back.
The place looks amazing inside, you absolutely wouldn't expect it. The food took a bit long to get to the table but tasted really fresh and delicious. The only miss for me was the veggie spring rolls. They tasted raw and unpleasant. All the other food was great! It is a but pricey but I think it's worth it.
Had take out. Containers were nice quality. Food was delicious! Red curry was aromatic and you could taste the coconut Milk. Rangoon was nice and crunchy. Thai fried rice uses green curry which was a nice pair
Best Thai food restaurant around. I live 20 minutes away but I dont mind the drive because its definitely worth it.
My first time here an the food was fresh i had beef fried rice with veggies an an order of egg rolls i tasted the freshness of the rice veggies and beef along with the veggie rolls an the service was awesome very welcoming
so good!
I ordered something different today. Garlic noodles /w chicken. Sometimes you could try something different. Wise choice.
Easily the best Thai resturant I've ever been to! The crab fried rice is incredible and deserves all the awards. Its crispy, yet soft and has large chucks of crab meat. yum! Run, don't walk to Bodhi. Best food around!
Amazing food, great service, nice place.
Delicious!
Menu didn't include all the chili peppers on chicken cashew. Very specific with leaving mushrooms and spices out. Cones out with 5 chili peppers and a ton of mushrooms. Sent it back, as one of my dining mates did as well. Waited 30 minutes for a return dinner, came back full of mushrooms. Never again. Used to really like this place.
This is awesome!
Food was fantastic!
UPDATE: This place really is a jewel you NEED to try. I had my graduation dinner here & all my family loved it! They are local, authentic, beautiful ambiance, & I REALLY REALLY REALLY dont want them to go out of business so please everyone SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!
I drive 20 minutes on the regular just for pot stickers if nothing else. They've become my comfort food. But all the food I've had here is so good! Even their soy sauce tastes better than regular soy sauce.
I can never NOT eat at least some of them in the car before pulling off. I even got my picky eater daughter to try them & she likes their food too.
.... and did I mention EXCELLENT service every time! 👍🏾👌🏾
Lots of options! Support them!

My first time trying Thai food so I tried post stickers and they are so delicious! Other reasons to visit here are the staff are always sooo nice and polite & the ambiance is so calm but also really unique & cool. I like it here.
Excellent food and service
Went in for a quick bite for lunch to go. It didn’t take long and food was very tasty. Next time I visit will be dine in.
Good beef fried rice .
Great little place for thai food, worth the drive and very consistent in taste and service. Spicy beef salad and clay pot are must have, Big enough to share. Only issue is the acoustics, the place can get noisy due to shape of room and lack of proper sound proofing.
Excellent food and excellent atmosphere!
Beautiful interiors reflecting Thai culture; great restaurant for a date night or a celebration. Table settings accommodate 2-4 people in a clean, well-lit dining area. Ample street parking available right out front. No reservations needed. Service was courteous, respectful and attentive. The manager/owner(?) checked on all the diners to see how everything tasted. My Summer Rolls were very fresh and crunchy and came with a satay dipping sauce with crushed peanuts. Yum! Highly recommended if you like Spring Rolls generally but want to try something new. I ordered the traditional chicken pad Thai, which came in a generous heaping portion, hot and fresh. Overall it was very good, from the texture of the soft noodles to the fresh crunch of the bean sprouts and carrots. Everything was portioned just right from the amount of chicken to the fried egg as well. Classic Thai comfort dish! I had to take half to go because I was so stuffed. My server was extremely polite and professional as he zipped around carefully from the kitchen to other diners which is a rarity when dining out. I also enjoyed the traditional Thai taro custard as I like to see how it is made by different Thai restaurants. The taro custard itself turned out to be a perfect size for me, sitting on top of a mini patty-cake mound of green-tinted sticky rice. The flavor was as expected and delicately sweet. A petite pouf of whipped cream and a sprinkling of toasted coconut finished off the top while a small puddle of coconut cream on the bottom added the expected -and always enjoyed- extra sweetness to the overall dessert. Well-deserved compliments were heard about the food from another table and it made me chuckle. I could tell others enjoyed themselves. The only distraction in my opinion was the music playing overhead. Instead of the "Top 100 pop songs" maybe if they played more traditional Thai instrumental music it would have enhanced the atmosphere (?) or not- I'm not sure- or even a more eclectic mix of ambient tunes would better suit or elevate this elegant, understated and beautiful little restaurant. 🤍
Love this place great food great service.
Phenomenal Thai restaurant! Only issue was I asked for medium spice and somehow they heard "extra mild" 😂😂😂 still delish
Perfect dinner and never let me down on some amazing thai food.
Never disappointed with their food, value . Both to go and dining are fun
Great place to eat I only spend around $25-$30 when I go, but I'm Greedy. I get the fried crab rangoons, potstickers, and shrimp on a stick or honey wings. I've dinned in and I've taken my food to go. It's a real nice ambience to dine in they serve wine so romantic dinner is really good here. Or you could just call in and order 2 Go Food is usually ready in 10-15 minutes. Fast service, great price, amazing people. 💙
I’ve been here several times and tried multiple dishes. They haven’t disappointed yet. The crab Rangoon is a must every time for me.
I always have to eat here when I’m in the neighborhood. Super nice staff and an always creative specials menu.
This place is amazing.
Food was amazing, drinks were right on point and customer service excellent 👌 highly recommended
An excellent, very friendly, neighborhood Thai restaurant in Berwyn IL. I found the food exceptionally good. The food was so tasty that we ordered orders to go. Bodhi Thai Bistro has a full range of Thai dishes. The atmosphere is pleasant and the seating is spacious enough not to give you a crowded feeling. I highly recommend this restaurant whether you're in the area or not. It's worth traveling to.
Great spot for take out or dine in Thai food. I recommend the Green Curry, but everything on the menu is good.
I have no idea how anyone can trust the rating system
The only thing worth eating was the pot stickers
Chicken and noodles weren't tasty at all!
The spring rolls inedible
***** adding to my review per restaurant reply*****
I'm only on my phone so I can't find a way to reply to their reply
They want to know what was wrong
When the very nice lady came to the table I told her that the spring rolls were very dry and had no flavor
Her recommendation next time was to try the eggrolls and did not offer to replace them
At that point I figured I was never coming to the restaurant again so I'd pay the bill leave a generous tip and leave a review for my fellow patrons
I would never go back to the restaurant the very lovely restaurant the people are very nice and I suspect that they cook for the basic American pallet and that's fine if people wanna go and give it four points stars but I hardly think it deserves that rating at all
My overall food experience was one star
For the service and the decor I would give it four stars
In my opinion
The restaurant missed its chance because they have plenty of people giving a good reviews and I hardly think that if anybody wanted up at Rosded in Morton Grove or Opart thai or Butterfly café that they would rate this restaurant over 3 stars
Fini
The food, as well as the service was amazing!! Definitely recommend!
Great staff. Very kind. Food is amazing. Ordered lard na fell in love with the dish. Crab Rangoon, satay as appetizer are great. For sure Bodhi made a customer for life
Amazing food. I especially loved their soups.
We've been in this place since 2010 and last week, the service was kind of weird. They were a little cold with us even though they know us for many years...
They told us not to be charged for our bottle of wine we usually bring, but at the end, they charged us $10 for opening the bottle and I just drank a coup of wine... We had to wait more than usual to order our food.
I don't think we're coming back soon.
Great food still.
Not BYOB anymore.
The pad Thai was way way way too spicy. Real Thai pad thais should not be overly spicy. The outside area was lovely.
Very good food nice place to enjoy with your honey
Great food
Boghi Thai Bistro is a stone throw away outside of Oak Park on Roosevelt and Lombard. The place is warm, welcoming and inviting. Well placed Thai decor isn't overwhelming and quite a sight to see. At first, the menu looks over whelming however organized with favorite appetizers, soups, noodles and entrees.
Stopping in, I had one thing on my mind... Som Tum as well as Guey Tiaw (Papaya salad and Noodles soup). They had these on the menu and specials Beef Tendon with noodles in a delicious broth, which did not disappoint. Delicious, tasty and fresh with great portions enough to share. No kids mean definite leftovers for lunch! Add a fun cocktail or Thai beer and all is set for a delightful meal. They have a party room for events as well as catering if needed. This was my first meal at Bodhi Thai Bistro and definitely not my last.
Not been here often but a recommended place for Thai food. Great place to care say for early dinner if looking for place rather than eating at Fitzgerald should you be attending a venue
Awesome place. The thai tea is amazing. The taro custard was out of this world. Hope I have another concert or event near this area just so I can go back! My partner also loved everything as well.
Friendly staff, great food, well priced, family owned, 10/10 would recommend!!
Been going here since they first opened. Great food, fresh ingredients. Try the vegteble soup, but add chicken. Best feel good soup you will ever have.
