Great spot for food and drinks! It was our first time in and we sat in the lounge. Food came out quickly! It took awhile to get our second round of drinks but it appeared the bartender was very busy. Caitlin was our waitress, she was friendly and helpful. We will be back and will be recommending to friends!

Food and the ambiance is great. Rose was our server this time and she did amazing, handling her section extremely well. Got a few tables at the same time but still finding time to check in on us with a smile. We mainly got different dishes than last time, but the spicy jeweled beef is something we will always order. This time we got the chicken lettuce wraps to start, honey walnut shrimp, evil jungle princess chicken(new favorite), and the famous hangover fried rice. Their flavor profiles are on point and serving sizes are good enough to share as well. We’re from California, this was our second time coming here but definitely won’t be the last. Thank you Rose, food initially gets people through the door but great service also keeps people coming back.

Another delicious experience! I love their gyozas (pot stickers)! They're the best I've had in the USA. The yellowtail nigiri was very good, with just the right balance of rice to meat - good fresh fish! My wife loves the pineapple-chili shrimp! It was just as good as the first time she ordered it. The crab wontons had a very good crab flavor and were nice and crispy. The sauces they have for their dishes really are well paired and yummy with other foods as well. The dessert menu is a real kick - it's a "view finder" 😁 that was fun to click through and see the different desserts, a very novel idea. They were out of the Ling's Honey Toast, so I got the Key Lime Pie, I wasn't a fan, it had an off taste to it, but my wife enjoyed the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. Although, in the future we'll probably skip dessert... The wait staff is very professional, friendly, and does a nice job. The atmosphere is really cool with a glass cascade wall behind the sushi preparation area, along with many other tasteful decorations to give the place a unique, yet warm vibe. This quickly became one of our favorite places, so we'll definitely be back!

I was very disappointed in the food from Ling & Louie's Asian Bar and Grill. I have dinned in one other time not long ago. Today I ordered take out. When I dined-in I ordered Mongolian Beef and the quantity of food was enough that I needed to take some home.

First time visiting here in Boise area. This was very close to our hotel. We happily arrived for happy hour! We first ordered the pot stickers! They were very yummy and shareable. Next I ordered the California roll sushi roll. These were delicious and very filling! We also got the General Ling’s which is a fun take on General Tsao chicken. Our server was fantastic! You have to try! Many choices on the menu!

He gave us exemplary customer service. Honestly, Ling and Louie’s is the only restaurant we are willing to go out and eat at now. All other restaurants have disappointed us in food or customer service or both. But, we keep coming back to Ling and Louie’s cause we know we won’t be disappointed in the food or the customer service. It’s our only go to restaurant!

Always great service and good food here. Kids eat free on Sundays with the purchase of an adult entrée. They also offer military discounts. My fiancé ordered the Jungle Princess Chicken, I ordered the Sochito pepper grilled cheese, and the kid ordered the kids' chicken teriyaki bento box. We all enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back again.

We were visiting family in Merridian and ordered carry out. Everything was good, but nothing was outstanding. We had potstickers, which were good. Nice crisp on the outside good seasoning on the meat on the inside. The sauce was classic potsticker sauce. Two of us had the chicken soup, which was so salty I couldn't eat it. My daughter-in-law said this was unusual. Then we shared Kung Pow Beef, which was great but not very spicy, Uncle Fu's fried rice with pork - really delicious, Lucky Lo Mein - very good, and the meatloaf - surprisingly outstanding. Lots of hits a few misses, but overall, a good meal. One thing I will add is that while I was waiting for my order, everyone at the host stand was super nice and friendly. My family loves this place so I'm sure we'll be back.

Our first time here after hearing rave reviews from a friend. Excellent and personable service. Shared the chicken lettuce wraps, many sushi rolls, and the seafood hot pot. Absolutely amazing food; we especially loved the seafood hot pot. Definitely our new go-to place for sushi, and seriously, the hot pot was to die for...Thank you for such an enjoyable meal.

Seniors beware, if you want the discount you must dine in.

I was disappointed to learn tonight that Ling and Louie's changed their senior discount policy. I've been getting takeout for my wife and I for the last couple of months. If I ordered before 5:00 pm, I got a senior discount. If I ordered after 5:00 pm, I paid full price. Today I ordered at 4:30 pm. When I went to pick up my meal they wouldn't give me a senior discount, they said, "Senior discount is only for seniors who dine in with two people."

The Bit O' Mexico sushi roll is my favorite! It is bursting with flavor and just enough spicy kick to make for an enjoyable roll. I have not tried anything else they have at L&L, I go just for this roll. The atmosphere is fun!

It's crazy how one bad apple can ruin your business. Our server was awesome, food was good as it always is everytime. But the manager on duty tonight , was the most unprofessional, ridiculous display of a manager I've encountered. Because of her we will not be back .. ever again. Which is unfortunate bc the general manager seemed like a nice guy, if he was smart he would fire her. She is a poison to the restaurant, her ego clouds her judgement and customer service skills. Too bad this used to be a favorite.

Had lunch there on Friday, December 20. Alyssa was our server. She was extremely fun, knowledgeable and attentive. We love going there. It’s just such a great place, Especially with a gluten allergy!

Service was little fast food like. Also food came out way too fast and doesn’t seem mostly made there. Too expensive for what food you’re getting. They charged extra for rice when it should be included in the price if it comes with the meal.

My favorite place to go I wish the restaurant just wasn't so cold they have the most gluten-free options for me in town. Andrew was an amazing server this past week when we went in. The food was hot and ready and fast and I wish they had one closer to where I lived and I didn't have to travel 30 minutes to get there.

Great food awesome and very happy employees. They give great service and food is super delicious. Food have so much flavor especially the long life chicken soup. The shrimp tempura sushi roll is on point. Orange chicken was perfect not to sweet and not to orangey. Right amount of spice.

What a great surprise. Best restaurant so far in our 15-day tour of the western national parks. Great menu. Kelsee is a model server and made our meal even more enjoyable. All four of us had different items and all were perfect. Flavor, presentation, temp, etc. Totally satisfied and you will be, too.

Very wide range of food to please the whole group and it's a family friendly atmosphere. The kids bento box was perfect for the toddler and they even offer healthier options in it than French fries like you can get edamame beans. My friend liked her sushi and my food was good too. Definitely worth the visit and I would go back if I was in the area again.

Drinks, apatizers, and sushi rolls, were served with perfect timing. Our Ginger lime margaritas were also perfect, thanks to Cabe the Bartender.

My brother and I have a sibling lunch once a month. Last time was Ling and Louie. The waiter,Ryan was kind and we had a nice conversation with him. The food was so good! I had chicken cashew and it was yummy! My brother had meat loaf and he enjoyed it! Just a great experience. It seems like there aren’t a lot of places that really care about their patrons. This place does! We will be back!!

This is a great Chinese food option, although I would describe as more Pacific Asian given their different dish origins. Great food, great service.

The sushi was amazing. I had the Baconator Roll. I’ve never had bacon with sushi. I love Bacon, I love sushi, why not try it? That was my favorite roll. Be sure to check this place out.

I don't walk out of a lot of places after appetizers, but man....if you serve sushi and you can't even handle a basic roll, I'm not spending money there.

Got a couple of drinks, got crab rangoon, got a spicy tuna roll. Crab rangoon was good, if pretty pricy at 3 bucks a rangoon, but the spicy tuna roll basically tasted liked canned tuna rolled in rice. Awful. No spice, no flavor, bad texture, pretty unpleasant to eat. Didn't even finish it among 3 people, and we were hungry.

Smoky toki was ok, smoky as advertised but nothing special. Hard to mess up whiskey. My wife got a new wave pina colada which was not very good at all. She didn't finish it.

Didn't feel like getting actual entrees after such a poor showing up front, so we paid and left. Ended up paying 70 bucks for a very subpar set of apps and drinks, and don't see myself giving them a second chance. Went to Bar Ghernika for actual, dinner, paid roughly the same price for 2 drinks, 2 apps, and 3 entrees for my party.

We've been ordering to go food for many years from this restaurant, but their newer web based system for ordering does not allow for accommodations, only priced upgrades, so unfortunately, we've had to take our business elsewhere.

Took Mom out and had a fabulous selection for each of us. Lots of variety for everyone's taste. Service was great.

So apparently they do not make sure that ubber eats picks up your whole order here after you wait 1hr 15 minutes then you get screwed by ubber eats and a driver that dose not speak English and used a phone translator..but the mistake started at Ling and Louies where they did not make sure the whole order went our very disappointed the items marked in pen missing

The happy hour has drink and appetizer specials 3-6 week days and almost all day weekends, food is very tasty and drinks are wonderful, you can sit in bar areas or in the dining room. Excellent service from the waitresses you won't leave hungry prices are competitive with most restaurants in the area so give it a try 👍 it won't disappoint we have been here about 10 time it never disappoints ......if this helps please give a like........................👍....................

We sat on the patio which was very cute! Great atmosphere that allowed our dog to enjoy the beautiful day with us. My daughter and I walked inside and it was gorgeous. So unique and a great place for a date!! The food was also very good. Pot stickers were delicious as well as the salmon!

We took our son and grandson for dinner. The meals were great, and the Bento boxes for children are awesome. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals and will definitely make this one of our favorite restaurants.
