Simple shopping center-based cafe (one of a small chain) featuring traditional Thai specialties.
Without question this is one of my favorite spots to eat on the island. Great servers, who are very nice and fast. The food is absolutely wonderful, some of the best Thai food I've had ever, let alone just on Oahu. The Thai Iced tea and coffee is also really great. They have really good portions for the price as well! Don't pass this place up if you're in the waikele/ waipahu area.
Food is absolutely delicious, staff is very friendly, and order was served very quick. The spicy fried rice tastes amazing, highly recommend!!!
This is the only place in Oahu. I go for Thai food. I’ve been living often on in Thailand for the last seven years and this food is pretty close. Currys are very ono, the staff are very nice and take very good care. The Thai iced tea is worth the caffeine rush.
I'm from out of the area (washington state) and this is the best food we have found here so far on our vacation! We Love the flavor of everything we had. It's better than the Thai we have up in our area.
This is my favorite place to get thai food. I moved off island but I'm home visiting family and this was automatic/mandatory on the places me and my husband had to go back to. Their pad woon sen is the best I've had anywhere. Their pad sie ew is tasty as well. My husband loves the pad thai as his go to. The fried chicken is so crispy and the portions are plentiful. You have to get their spring rolls. I can go on and on about this place. Everything I've tried is delicious. It's kind of pricey but soooo worth it. Sad to be leaving home soon because I always crave Thai Village.
A staple take out place for us. Quality and quantity is always consistent and good. We come here often.
Finally, I found an authentic, real Thai restaurant on Oahu. So good!! Loved the Pad Kee Mao! Kap Khun Krab!! 🙏🏽
Basic Thai restaurant in the suburbs. Nothing to go out of your way for. But if in the area and you are hungry for Thai, then this hits the spot.

Quick & friendly take out service, best Thai food on the island!

Small portions
Fried chicken is killah
They have the best pad Kraprow beef here
I love Thai food and have bought from here several times as it is very close to my house. Each time I hoped the food would get better or the cashier wouldn’t act like I am a jerk for patronizing their restaurant. The last straw was $20 cashew nut chicken (no rice that is extra) that was very bland and small. The curry has been bad for well over a year now, same problem no flavor. If you really have to get Thai food then I guess go here but for me in the future, Thai Village will not be getting my money and I don’t recommend you give them yours either.
The food is tasty, specifically the Pad Thai
I had my first Thai meal here on Oahu about 30 years ago. I moved back to the mainland and never was able to find anything as wonderful and delicious as that very first meal. Now we’re back on island and ate here just to see how it compared. I almost cried it was so good. Their yellow curry is 💯x 💯. Real honest to goodness spring rolls with cucumber mint and lettuce. I just could not find it back on the East Coast. If you’ve got a hankering for amazing Thai food, Thai Village does not disappoint. Recommended and ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫✨🌟🌠🤩
This is one of my favorite places to eat in the island. I like the Thai jasmine rice with chicken and basil. It’s really spicy but if you like spicy foods, it’s the best
Thai Village in Waipio has been my go-to spot for takeout orders. The staff is exceptional, always friendly and accommodating. While the food is decent, I'd say it's okay—nothing extraordinary, but consistently satisfying. Overall, it's a reliable choice for convenient takeout with excellent service.
Delicious food and fast service. The staff was extremely friendly and chatted with us for a while. The food tasted amazing and came in large portions.
Best Thai food on the island, besides Fasay Thai Wagon in Kahuku. HOWEVER, I will make the drive all the way to Kahuku instead of going up the street to Thai Village in Waipio or possibly try the other locations because the service there is completely disrespectful. All of the times I've dined in and ordered take out, the ladies at the front who also serve guests, have rude mannerisms and attitude. When I've ordered items that are on the menu for takeout, they have told me I "can just make it at home" lol. I've tried to order that same thing when I dined in, and was told they don't have it, but that's several times now so if it's no longe available it could be specified so on the menu. Quality taste, portions, and price are not worth the attitude. I'll take the trip up north instead for Thai.
This location makes the best thai good. Probably the chef
나름 이 지역에서 맛이좋다고 소문난곳입니다~
스프링롤이 다른곳과틀리게 쫄깃하니 바삭합니다 👍🏻
My favorite was the Thai Fried Rice!
The chicken Pad See Eiw is sooo good!
I always enjoy the food infact I prefer this restaurant over the other 2 I went to.
The curry was delish as was the eggplant chicken
Poor services 😢
Great food, So much flavor, much appreciated!
Clean, great services,
Delicious food and friendly service!
Best Thai food you can find on Oahu. Great and friendly service and delicious dishes
First time here nice atmosphere. Service was very friendly and we got there before 5pm so it wasn't crowded. Priced look a little higher but they give a good size servings. Definitely would go back again and recommend this place for that food
Food good 👍 service quick and great
I think the customer service gets a bad wrap
I went in during a holiday for dinner with my spouse. We were seated away from everyone, the server accommodated our every request, even going as far as to give me one of their personal mugs for hot tea. The food was good, 0 complaints. Overall it was a good experience and I would return. My wife mentioned negative reviews about customer service but upon going to Thai Village, both the male and female server were more than helpful with everything, even on a holiday. 5 Stars
Highly recommend! Amazing food and very fast service- I called in for takeout, and the lady told me 15 minutes and I was in and out! The chicken pad Thai was super delicious
Customer service definitely lacks here! Ordered the combo pho and it was disgusting, the bean sprouts was wilted and brown. I took one sip of the soup and informed the not so friendly help, that I wasn’t about to get sick and would not pay for the food and walked out. She followed me and said I have to pay for the food - I again told her I didn’t eat any of it and it was gross! She said don’t come back - believe me, I won’t!
Picked up summer rolls for pupu🤙
With so many places to choose from these days...Customer service is important...but not important to this place. The server was not friendly, like we didn't belong there. She was friendly to the other customers.
The portions are smaller for the price. The sticky rice tasted a little old.
I'm disappointed that my order for takeout that included Curry did not include any rice on the side. At today's prices I'm surprised and disappointed
One of my favorite places to eat in waipio
Best Thai on Oahu. Just recently ate at a very popular Thai restaurant in Chinatown, and I think this restaurant was much better! Food was delicious and staff was super friendly. Highly recommend the Pad See Ew.
My visit to Thai Village was amazing. The staff was very friendly, the service was fast, and my food was absolutely delicious. I will definitely return in the future!
One of the best eggplant tofu dishes I've had and I'm pretty picky. Service is good. They know how to make dishes vegan by taking out egg, fish & oyster sauce but not sure if they replace it with anything. Personal fave: the eggplant #28 with tofu. The eggplant is cut very thinly so it's nice and soft. I made mine a little spicy. Good flavor too!
Go here all the time. Love the service and food!
I’ve visited this location 3 times, my first visit was dine in and the other times takes out. I ordered the Pineapple Curry, The second time (1) the Thai Fried Rice. The third, (1) Pineapple Curry & (2) Pad Thai. I’ve read a few reviews below that the food lacks flavor, it has flavor, but I do agree it isn’t the strongest flavoring (depending on the dish you choose). My Pad Thai could’ve used some more sauce & pepper, but that’s not the way it was prepared no “🌶” in the description.
I’m Caribbean American so I have a certain palate, so flavor and portions sizes are top priority. I usually split my portion in half and it’s dinner for two nights. I’ll say it is worth trying and returning to try various dishes, before anyone makes a solid judgement.
Got the tofu pad Thai with spring rolls. Was meeeeean. This place never disappoints.
The food was EXCELLENT AND SO WAS THE SERVICE.
We ate outside, our food and service was very good, we will recommend. Thank you!!
I come here at least twice a month for their shrimp pad thai, it's so good!!!
Nice for family
The food and service are great!!!
Did not get to dine in because I was sat at a table but no one came to take my order or greet me. Waited for 10 minutes and left. It was peak lunch time so I understand
This is my favorite place to get thai food. I moved off island but I'm home visiting family and this was automatic/mandatory on the places me and my husband had to go back to. Good food. Little pricey though.
I had the curry pad thai with vegetables and shrimp. It was DELICIOUS! I've been craving some good noodles and this dish hit the spot. It was nice and hot and very flavorful.
Expensive small portions service wasn’t there
The smiling welcoming faces of the servers along with the clean and tasty food made a great experience. Phet lau was particularly pleasant. Thanks
Delicious Thai food. Tum yum soup had great flavor. Padthai, Evil jungle Curry, Beef Larb, Egg plant basil -all very delicious. Service was great too.
Taste like something was missing.
Great food and great service!

Our favorite go to place! Best thai restaurant on Oahu hands down!!!
It's the best thai food on the island for me. Worth to drive to waikele
I absolutely love this place. Authentic Thai food, period. My go-to meals are the beef larb, cucumber salad, and the combination pad Thai.
The team here is very friendly, and very efficient. I'll post more later when I go back!
Pho-nominal
Service and food always fantastic
Food and service was excellent! Would definitely come back and recommend others to eat here.
The bomb especially their Tom yum soup and the yellow curry
Awesome customer service! Ordered take out for Mother's Day dinner, and they forgot our spring rolls. Went in the next day, and they were very apologetic and gave me spring rolls and summer rolls! Thank you Thai Village Waipio for your great customer service and delicious food!
Cool n' vibie dinning. Dim lighing, so nice. Food is delicious. Yum.
Great food and fast service
Always delicious food, our favorite neighborhood restaurant.
Loved the curry eggplant dish. Staff very friendly. Lots of free parking!
Menu has a lot of options. Ingredients aren't as fresh as I would like. Atmosphere isn't great. However, the staff is very friendly. Even got a shaka on my way out the door.
格安で料理頂きました。
Great Pad Thai
Food is always delicious and staff so friendly.
Great food and service. I visit there at least once a week. Never been let down.
Great food and service
Friendly staff . Easy menu with pictures. Pad Thai curry was great . Will be coming back
The lobster garlic curry was a no go for me. The lobster was almost inedible and I struggled to chew it.. the garlic curry had no taste what-so-ever. If the waitress didn't tell me I had ordered calamari, I wouldn’t have known I was eating it. Practically all breading (though the sweet side-sauce had good flavor). My wife ordered the Pad Thai and told me she wouldn’t get it again.. The Thai Soup was actually quite decent and earns a star - and the size was awesome. I leave the other star because I hear good things. I am hoping when I return I have a better experience..
When I hear Thai food I expect FLAVOR! I also usually expect at least some presence of spice of heat.. I had no flavor or heat what so ever.. I didnt know what I was eating. It’s hard to make something with no taste... but they did it. I rarely leave a negative review, but I cannot honestly give Thai Village one.
Service was good. Food was fast. It just wasn’t cooked/prepared well.. Will try again and update review after.
Good thai food
Good food friendly service
Delicious food and great service!!!
The food was great.
Like being in Chiang Mai ...
Even when there at their busiest, they are fast and polite
This place doesn’t look like much but was surprisingly good. The curry pad Thai was delicious as was the Thai fried rice. Service was good and price was excellent. I plan on coming back!
My favorite Thai restaurant on west side!
I had Curry Pad Thai with chicken and my girlfriend got Pad See Ew with shrimp. Mine was *fantastic* (I'll probably revisit this week). My girlfriend said hers was good, but she orders it with absolutely no spice (can't handle spicy food at all) which leaves the food with less flavor than it should have.
Staff was attentive and friendly, place seemed clean. With food and drinks it was about $34 + tip.
Fried chicken and green curry is the bomb.
I LIKE IT! VERY GOOD FRIED RICE & PHO
Amazing food but pretty expensive.. worth it!!
My wife's favorite pho place. Thai food is fine. But the pho is great.
We come here all the time and I have always satisfied my Thai food craving.
Chicken fried rice was awesome as was the calamari probably best I have had on the island.
The best I’m s Hawaii
The curry had a good flavor but wasn't very spicy. It was okay but I won't be rushing back.
Always great food every time. Just about the most authentic Thai flavors on Oahu. The curries and the phad see ew are extra delightful.
Oh I love their food especially the salad.
Love this place! Panang Curry is the best!
It's kind of far from my home, but
this is the best Thai restaurant!! I've tried many Thai food in Oahu. The food is always delicious. I recommend fried calamari 🌟very ono.
UPDATE:
I’ve been here a couple of times and always enjoy their food here.
Unfortunately its been a while since I last ate here, I can’t recall exactly what I had last. What I do remember was that their fried chicken was on point. I also really enjoyed their curry, papaya salad, fried rolls, drunken noodles, pad thai, and thai iced tea.
We have frequented Rajanee and Phuket Thai in the past. In comparison, this place probably beats them all on flavor. Still on the pricier side though.
ORIGINAL:
I have been here a couple of times for lunch. My family really likes this place, but I have to say that I am not that impressed.
Their papaya salad is really good. Their green curry is decent too. I felt like their pad Thai was missing something. Their spring and summer rolls were okay, nothing to really rave about.
Their staff was really friendly and helpful. But I think their food is a little pricey.
All in all, I would come back here because it's the best in my area but if I had a craving for really really good Thai, I would rather satisfy it elsewhere.
The fried chicken is amazing. Curries, pad kee mao and tom yum are my go-to; they make for great leftovers.
My family and I ate at the Thai Village three times during our week long vacation in Hawaii.. Everything was delicious! The Pho and Ginger soup were great. We also had summer rolls, spring rolls, and calamari and they were very tasty. The calamari was a very nice treat. I live in Minnesota and the calamari is not often as good so far from the ocean. I also ordered spicy pad thai and it came very spicy. Just keep in mind if you ask for spicy it will come very spicy. The other dishes I ordered did not have such a high level of spice. My daughter does not care for spicy food and she could easily eat the Pho & Ginger soup. She also had a kids meal one time that was tasty but not as good as the rest of the food. I should also note that my spicy pad thai was great but it was face melting spicy (for my Minnesota mouth). The price is high at times but I did not mind it for the quality of food. The service was also quick. I loved this place!
Food is very tasty and flavor is consistent. Servers are very friendly and courteous.
Great service. Good food. The tom qua was awesome!
This place is not very good. Avoid this restaurant.
I read some reviews that said this place is pretty good. Thai Village is amazing. I recommend the yellow curry chicken or the green curry chicken two excellent choices.
Awesome food! Just as good as Rajanee.
So far, this is the best Thai restaurant I've tried on Oahu. It's a very small, cozy restaurant, so I get take-out a lot from this place. The food is always delicious.
This is a pretty good Thai restaurant. The staff are friendly. The kitchen can get a little backed up and slow at dinner time. The ambiance is nice. No indoor bathroom is a bummer - especially if you get the lahb thai spicy. :P
Really disappointing experience. I ordered take-out for curry at "medium-spicy" and got home to discovered it was completely bland. When I called Called up the restaurant I was told, "If you want it to be spicy add chili oil". Bland curry is frustrating but mix-ups happen, the response though was completely unprofessional.
The chicken sa-teh was very tender and delicious. And the pad thai was delicious, with very good, white meat chicken. And the service is very good.
Very good food, service, and prices. Large portions! Will be back here many times.
The service was fast, the food was well cooked, very tasty, and full of flavor. The prices were reasonable, but the portions were smaller for the price.
Food was very tasty! I'm a repeat customer. On average a family of four will be spending about $50 bucks for a good meal decent varaiety with probably no leftovers! their sticky rice is pricey per order but man is it good! and I'm not even a rice eater!
